Hi Mate
what are you after now ?

Thanks, I do what I can Smiley

First payouts processed a couple of hours ago, not many accounts reached the 0.01BTC threshold but I expected this to be the case on the first payout. The design I've chosen means a day of mining is needed to get the ball rolling, but now that we're passed that it should be smooth sailing!

The next payout will be interesting with a full day of consistent mining.
will we be able to see our stats i.e. how much we have mined ?

TomCoin

I'll make an announcement for this later on but I've just introduced TomCoin to TomPool.

What is TomCoin? Is this another new coin?

Luckily no, this isn't a new coin but the name I've chosen for a new addition to TomPool. TomCoin is a no fuss, easy entry into the world of alt coin multipool mining. In short, its a SHA256 multipool that pays out in BTC.

Usage

All you need is a BTC address and a SHA256 miner, then start cgminer like so:

cgminer --url stratum+tcp://tompool.org:3330 --userpass 15nNFw1LygSEDd9zcfdfgsdrEEhRbDTrQfFr.1:x

Payouts are made daily when your balance reaches 0.01BTC

Please see http://tompool.org/tomcoin.jsp for more information.

Top work man
your site is just a one stop shop now for mining...

Keep up the very good work.

Well
i have 4 Antminer S1's running from 1 PSU

the PSU is a
Silverstone SST-ZM1350 Zeus Power Supply - 1500W Peak
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-315-SV&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=2464

its pulling 1380w at the plug

No heat issues at all

All the miners have been OC'ed to 375.

and its been running like that for 2 weeks now

Nice looking setup, here is a question that has been bothering me for a while, Why pay £239 for a 1350W Psu when you can buy a budget 600w PSU for under £20 Delivered ?

I run all my ants blades with there own PSU. I take it I must be mad or something, fair enough it takes a bit of room but will it not be cheaper as the PSU will only be pulling what it needs ?

I have 5 ants in total so that's 10 600w PSU's.

Going to get a multi meter to measure what it is pulling all my miners are running between 205 and 210 Gh/s

Cheers

so you have 10 600w PSU's
so that lot will be pulling 6000w Max

i have 1 1500w running 4 Ant miners
hmmm i would who is going to win in the long run lol

1630  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] wifi power switch for mining on: January 27, 2014, 10:47:56 PM
Would the wemo work for roughly 20 amps?

I've got a 5x 280x rig and a 6x 290x rig.

The good thing is they restart when the power goes out, but I can never get them to reboot (they just sorta hang after issuing a reboot or coldreboot command), which is why I'm going down this path.
Not sure I have 8 amp working fine on it
Would be best to check out the website
1631  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] wifi power switch for mining on: January 27, 2014, 10:19:10 PM
Occasionally I need to cycle power on things (one of which is my mining rig), and in order to do that I need to be there and manually turn it off then turn it on. I'd like to find a wifi controllable plug that would do this for me from anywhere.

Hi this is what I use

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=wemo&tag=googhydr-21&index=aps&hvadid=28908318060&hvpos=1t1&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1801117344829482803&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=t&ref=pd_sl_d9mlqnsnx_e

That's the uk model but they do one for USA / eu

Hi guys. I have a problem ( as usually today) I have two antminers. First antminer have a silent fan. Second have a noisy fan (always seems to maximum rpm). Is it normal ?
That's the same as mine
The silent fan will come on when the temp rise
As for the other one mine did slow frown after about 1 hours of running
1633  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 27, 2014, 02:11:27 PM
How can i change Antminer's ip from win without logging to miner ?

I'm connecting antminer to pc, but i can't login. I think that it should be subnet router problem. All the others pc on my network are "192.168.0.xx" Please help me Sad

I received my antminer. I have a problem on first start up. I see my miner on 192.168.1.99 (with ipscanner) but I can not reach through the web page. Not doing ping the ip sees it. Please Help me !  Cry
Same problem here. And the fan is also not running..strange.
Regarding only the lights everything seems to look fine on startup...

(But this is my first S1, I do not really know if this works as intended)

ok i had that with one of the miners i had today

press the reset button for 10 seconds then wait for 30 seconds then power off the miner

when you power it back on keep looking at the Network socket keep it on for about 5 mins
and the network light should come on and you should have access to the web interface.

if the light come on then go off repeat the above

Thanks pjcltd much appreciated. I need to work out how to stack 4 miners 2 x 2  Grin

ok biggzi
this is how i do it

i have 3 sets like this now
so thats a total of just over 2 Th/s in my mining farm

PJC it looks like you are lucky enough to have a basement. Either that or you are in the Tunnel escaping from Colditz Castle lol. My entire Bungalow is now heated courtesy of 600GH/s on my little collection. Crammed into the corner of our front room. Oh how I wish we had a cool basement. Still British Gas have sent me an email yesterday saying I'm due a refund as I have over paid for my Gas this winter. I have also not bought £6 quids worth of logs per week for our wood burner in the front room lol. Saved enough to pay for the mining electricity for quite a while.

Nice rig, very nice rig.

thanks and its all running from 1 1500w PSU
1 Ant S1 without OC

Yes finally!... "Out for Delivery"  Cheesy

Has anyone run these units side by side?  I have limited space in my server cabinet so I am ganna have to have 2 miners quite close to each other.

I don't like the idea I would like space for good air flow. I would probably only have 1-2cm gap between the two. Does anyone know if this would greatly increase board temps?

I have three units side by side. Works pretty well with Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000rpm fans on the other side, blowing air out. The unit in the middle is actually running cooler than it would standalone.

Great that's good to hear!

pjcltd how did you stack one ontop of the other? I can't see how the power and ethernet cables did not get in the way or get squashed?

btw I aslo had to pay the UPS guy cash, which I wasn't happy about but oh well. it was £31 summin each.

I will take a pic and show you
1638  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 27, 2014, 12:10:42 PM
Ok i have both of mine working but what a pain in the Ass it was to get them working
i had to HARD reset them both before i could get on them both by putty

Now of the miners Fans will not slow down its on FULL SPEED

but they are WORKING NOW

time will tell

For those who have received their ants, how did you pay your customs charges (if any) cash, cheque, card?

Also, to the delivery driver or over the phone?

Hopefully receiving mine today!

Hi had to pay in cash to the driver i was not given any other choice

Thanks.

Looks like I'll have to make a trip to the bank! How much was it and did he carry change?

Also, on another note, I'm also interested in which ALTs people are mining and where?
 Smiley

both of my miners have charges on the £29.94 on each
and no he  did not have change so i gave him £60
