For those who have received their ants, how did you pay your customs charges (if any) cash, cheque, card?

Also, to the delivery driver or over the phone?

Hopefully receiving mine today!

Yes finally!... "Out for Delivery"  Cheesy

Has anyone run these units side by side?  I have limited space in my server cabinet so I am ganna have to have 2 miners quite close to each other.

I don't like the idea I would like space for good air flow. I would probably only have 1-2cm gap between the two. Does anyone know if this would greatly increase board temps?
i have mine on top of each other in a 2 stack
no problems at all

Thanks.

Looks like I'll have to make a trip to the bank! How much was it and did he carry change?

Also, on another note, I'm also interested in which ALTs people are mining and where?

I have three units side by side. Works pretty well with Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000rpm fans on the other side, blowing air out. The unit in the middle is actually running cooler than it would standalone.

Mine just arrived with a £35.98 charge and the only option was cash. No cheque or pin machine. I gave him £40 quid and he said he couldn't change it. LMAO, so I routed around and came up with £36 quid. He refused and said he couldn't keep the change. So now I have to go out and buy some sodding Polo mints that I won't eat and hope I get back before he tries again or it will be tomorrow. He wouldn't even keep the two pence change.

Anyone ever use Corsair VS550 for powering the Ant ?
I just blow up that PSU (not actual blow, just die).
the spec say 12V 41A, it only run about 3 minutes and then the PSU die.
now running only 1 blade with 20 Amp psu.
need to look for another PSU, maybe ex server.

Great that's good to hear!

pjcltd how did you stack one ontop of the other? I can't see how the power and ethernet cables did not get in the way or get squashed?

btw I aslo had to pay the UPS guy cash, which I wasn't happy about but oh well. it was £31 summin each.

PJC it looks like you are lucky enough to have a basement. Either that or you are in the Tunnel escaping from Colditz Castle lol. My entire Bungalow is now heated courtesy of 600GH/s on my little collection. Crammed into the corner of our front room. Oh how I wish we had a cool basement. Still British Gas have sent me an email yesterday saying I'm due a refund as I have over paid for my Gas this winter. I have also not bought £6 quids worth of logs per week for our wood burner in the front room lol. Saved enough to pay for the mining electricity for quite a while.

Nice rig, very nice rig.
