1621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: August 13, 2017, 09:36:57 AM
What I like best about Bitcoin is the fact anyone can buy it around the world and send money so fast with low fees whereas other methods take far longer and outrageous fees.

I like how it can be divided by so many decimal places to allow very precise and easy transactions.
I think the higher the bitcoin price (this is definitely the case with bitcoin) then transaction fee on bitcoin will be more expensive. So I'm hoping that bitcoin teams can make bitcoin fees cheaper again when bitcoin prices have skyrocketed. Because the fee will be very expensive when bitcoin price is expensive
1622  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: August 13, 2017, 03:59:22 AM
i doubt it, in reality the rich will buy up bitcoin before the poor can and will own a large percentage of it. It can help them if they have enough money to save, but that wont help poor people in the moment. Most poor people cant afford and bitcoin because they are living paycheck to paycheck.
I think they do not have to buy bitcoin first, I know the price of bitcoin is expensive and it only has a little money, and they will not be able to use their money for investment. They can get bitcoin for free of course with patience, they can benefit and improve their lives
1623  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: August 13, 2017, 03:12:26 AM
You mean that's passive income, because you gain income even when you are not doing anything. Just hold your btc and it will grow because the price is getting higher and higher, so the interest rate is very high. As said by others getting a job is the best way to have steady income because it gives you fixed salary. Invest maybe in an ICO which you think can be successful, then it can give you passive income if ever.
I think what we're talking about here is about getting a fixed income instead of passive income, yeah one of the easiest ways to get a fixed income is to find a job. Because with that you can get a fixed salary every month. For example being a restaurant waiter, staff, clerks, etc
1624  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 13, 2017, 02:55:44 AM
I believe that investing is much better than saving. Money should be on the move and make a profit. Of course there are risks, but who does not risk that and can not earn much money.
Thats true, many rich people say that if you want to get big profits and get rich. Then you should dare to take a risk by trying a way that has a great likelihood of profit despite the great risk. Anyway, if you're lucky maybe you can get rich from that investment.
1625  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: August 13, 2017, 02:38:37 AM
So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?
When it comes to teaching kids it is better to keep things simple so if you need to try to explain them about  decentralization, the blockchain, inflation, market cap, and things with that they are going to get confused, it is better to use some bills and teach them about saving that way.
i think there is nothing wrong to teach to kids about bitcoin only for the sake of learning bitcoin currency we can use bitcoin online trading and investment and therefore i do not think that there is any reason to teach to kids about bitcoin too much. i think they should concentrate toward their study only.
but i do not think that currency children has any concern with bitcoin, if currently bitcoin is not using for shopping in our local area there they do not have any thing to do with bitcoin. i think they should continue their study and first to complete it.
Yeah thats is true, when bitcoin can not be used to shop in local store, I think child can not be exemplified to know bitcoin. Because if you tell them about bitcoins other than currency, maybe they will be confused. I do not think there's any urgency to tell kids about it
1626  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: August 13, 2017, 02:10:40 AM
Previously, I used the purse blockchain.info. But then I was advised to use a cold storage purse. Such wallets are very reliable

I also used blockchain before but then I realised that this is one of the worst wallets. Especialy disappointing was that you can't control the fees, bad signature options and low security. Now I use Xapo and Mycelium and I'm satisfied with all features they offer and would recommend those to everyone.
The least I like about blockchain is a very high fee and a very long confirmation time. I once used a fee of more than 0.0003 btc, but the confirmation time could be longer than 1 day and from that moment I was very disappointed and switch from blockchain to other wallet
1627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: August 13, 2017, 01:37:15 AM
I do like about being my own money and be able to make a transaction anytime without have to ask permission to moove my money, something that banks does when you play with some big ammount. Besides those im able to moove and send bitcoin to any part of the world without have to pay extra fee, in the general i do love freedom and low fees, and the fact i can choose when i will exchange my coins at a best rate for me.
Yeah bitcoin has a different system with the financial system in general, you are free to use bitcoin for any transaction, anywhere, and anytime. You have full authority over your own money in bitcoin, and that is the advantage of bitcoin and I love that too much.
1628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using bitcoins for? on: August 13, 2017, 01:30:53 AM
In the past, I invested some of my btc funds in some HYIP and also in order to start my own online advertising business.
Everything failed and I lost my money.
Now, when the price of bitcoin jumped high to the sky, I will not repeat my mistake anymore.
I will just keep my btc funds in the wallet and wait Smiley
There is always a risk in bitcoin investment, the amount of risk depends on investment and what business you choose. If you invest in MLM, ponzi, HYIP, of course the risk will be huge, and maybe what you will get is a loss, I think rather than doing it better just keep silent and hold bitcoin, it's safer
1629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for a country to block bitcoins (or even the whole cryptos) on: August 13, 2017, 01:09:19 AM
In my opinion it is not possible in every country to block bitcoin (or even all crypto) but depending on the state within the government that does not want bitcoin to break in their official currency ( bank )
I think it is impossible for the government to actually prohibit the use of bitcoin, in the sense that making bitcoin is not used by prohibiting, prohibiting could have been applied by the government but bitcoin is decentralized and is on the internet, where no one can intervene
1630  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: August 12, 2017, 03:44:21 PM
I do not think it will reduce unemployement. Think about all the banking people. Sadly for them they will soon be idle...
Nope I think bitcoin gives a significant change for someone. Bitcoin provides benefits to its users, bitcoin is very profitable and many people take advantage of bitcoin for their income even the main job for them and I think bitcoin is working to reduce unemployment in the world
1631  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: August 12, 2017, 03:26:53 PM
I think not just for young people, but for everyone in the world is not limited to age. I think everyone should join bitcoin because bitcoin is beneficial for everyone either for financial gain, or beneficial for your financial transactions and also bitcoin is a technology of the future so you must follow the era
1632  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: August 12, 2017, 03:10:31 PM
Somewhat bitcoin is becomming a global currency because you can use it in doing transaction outside your country you can also bring bitcoin in other country..so far many countries adopt bitcoin and in future time many will accept it as a mode of payment
I think bitcoin can already be said as a global currency. Yeah like you said that bitcoin can be taken anywhere to the world. And you can make transactions and send money with residents in any country just by using bitcoin for payment. I think it can be said as a global currency
1633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: August 11, 2017, 06:36:00 PM
I kind of see the decentralized everything coming in the next decade. decentralized payment system, decentralized stcok exchange market, decentralized voting system, decentralized governance
Yeah might come a competitor who would have technology like bitcoin (like having decentralization, anonymity, etc) and certainly more sophisticated, maybe it would pose a very serious threat to the continuity of life on bitcoin. Whether it will survive or not, it depends on bitcoin users
1634  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: August 10, 2017, 01:34:10 AM
I believe in gold, only because it is a physical thing, that is slowly running out and if you have a brick it is forever (well unless you sell it) While with bitcoin, it could get old fast, and be obsolete, when some altcoin becomes extremely popular and better in every possible way.
Yeah i think it is a risk on technology, it is very possible the technology will become obsolete due to technological development but I think it's different from bitcoin. Bitcoin will continue to evolve accordingly and keep pace with the times. Look at when hardfork and segwit happens this is a bitcoin development. So I do not think bitcoin will be obsolete
1635  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: August 10, 2017, 01:23:33 AM
I believe that the best way to a stable income is your business, but for this you need to calculate everything well in order to create something unique that will constantly bring in income.
Real business is a good way to get stable income and for those who doesn't know about Bitcoin they probably have offline business in their city. But, for we as the Bitcoin lover we have different source like from Bitcoin and real business where you manage it from your Bitcoin income.
I think making the business will not provide a steady income because the profits you'll get will go up and down, and not necessarily profit, that's business? You will not get a steady income from business but you can earn a great income even more than a steady income
1636  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: August 10, 2017, 12:59:04 AM
My worst decision is that hearing about Btc and not investing in it.
I was putting all my money in glambling because I am a huge fan of football.
I think it's a natural thing when you know bitcoin and then buy but do not keep it for long term, I also do that.
So I'm really sad when prices skyrocket but I do not have bitcoin stash for me to sell and get for very big ones
1637  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: August 10, 2017, 12:57:50 AM
Currently bitcoin is not yet fully a global currency because there are still some countries that prohibit the use of bitcoin, but this is certainly not an obstacle to the continued development of bitcoin.
Some countries have prohibited it in their countries but they will sooner start to adopt it for their country when they will know that bitcoin will start to use for online international business as if they will then deny then they will deny their success in development.
i think it is depending on the interest of the people if people are interested in bitcoin i am sure that their government will also take a very positive step about bitcoin and they will surely accept bitcoin as legal currency of the world, and i am also sure that very soon bitcoin will become a global currency when all the countries will accept  bitcoin as legal currency.
I think most people have liked the new innovation of bitcoin, but the problem is not from the attraction of people on bitcoin. The government will definitely stick the bitcoin if bitcoin can be controlled or in the sense that decentralization and anonymity are lost. Without the need for it to happen bitcoin has become an international currency dude
1638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: August 07, 2017, 12:04:41 AM
I don't think that Bitcoin will be replaced by some other crypto-Currency at least I am not going to adopt any other crypto currency. I am happy with Bitcoins and I don't want any other digital currency to interfere with Bitcoins value.
This is called the influence of the user, when the user does not want to move or switch from bitcoin to another cryptocurrency, so long as this continues to happen where users continue to believe and trust to continue using bitcoin. Then bitcoin will continue to survive from all sorts of competitors
1639  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 06, 2017, 03:51:24 PM
I think you should do both, you invest at the same time you save. Well in investing sometimes it is really risky but since life is also a risk per se, let's just have that back up plan which is the saving part. We don't know what to happen in the near future about the money we'llgoing to invest just be smart enough to do something when everything goes wrong.
I agree, we can do them both at the same time. What is investing if you don't also save some of it? It is better to do them both especially when you really have a knowledge in investing. Some people don't invest they just saving money because they don't know how to invest and how to do it right. But if we know how to manage them at the same time better to do it both so we can save a lot of our profit for the future.
Yeah you can use both, of course if you have a problem with the lack of income on your main job, then investment will provide a nice additional income for you but you have to be careful because investment also has a risk of loss. So do not allocate too much money on investment
1640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: August 06, 2017, 03:44:28 PM
My plan with bitcoin is to make as much bitcoin as possible to buy the items I need like computers, motorcycles and help my family.
Then I can think of myself and my future.
Then you have to collect and get bitcoin, many users have plans to buy something goods using bitcoin but many people are still confused by what method they should use to get their bitcoin lol. I think what they have to plan first is how to earn bitcoin
