1621  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is in a downtrend, will it last long or temporary? on: September 30, 2021, 09:43:07 AM
Evergrande made a lot of fuss but it's not enough to take down Bitcoin at a high percentage.
See how short the bear market is and investors are still coming in. Even alts reacted but it was not that long before their prices came back.
I think it's not all about China anymore. Maybe before a lot of investors are on monitor what their next step will be but now, we can use the market reaction as proof that they are not easily manipulated anymore even with news like that.
Trust in Bitcoin is getting stronger.

Something like this news.
Owner Of NBA’s Kings To Offer To Pay Players In Bitcoin
It's not new but somehow I like it more when they are using Bitcoin instead of Dogecoin. It's just the hype made by EM and I don't think it should be trustworthy enough with a volatile market.
Bitcoin on the other hand does have a higher trust rating and there is no one at the helm to control it.
Sure there will always be manipulation for there will be rich people who will use their resources to gain the upper hand but they should still be wary about giving it up for chances of a sudden spike could come making them lose more than profits.
1623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 29, 2021, 03:43:17 PM
But the worst that I read is that Orlando Magic's Jonathan Isaac that he is immune already since he has contracted the virus before.
What? I've seen some cases that even if they got contracted by the virus before they still got affected again by it, might be the virus getting more variants. I wonder what refuses them to get vaccinated, it just doesn't make some sense if others tend to cooperate. Well, if they won't then they won't play, it's that simple rule to follow.
Yeah, the virus could infect you again. I've seen it in my neighborhood and I was shocked. Once, I also thought that if you got hit by the virus, your body will create immunities against it, but it's not true. It's like cold, it will go back if you are infected by another who has it.

About the vaccination, I hope it's that simple. They are using different reasons about it, religion and others about the deaths of those who are vaccinated and some like Kyrie who thinks microchips are inserted in it. Who knows?  Grin I just hope they have their papers ready to prove it.
1624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is easier? on: September 29, 2021, 11:21:10 AM
I'll pick waiting for the dip.
IMO, there's a higher chance to make some profits rather than jumping the hype which has high risk and a low chance to sustain it or pump.
The dip means there is a basis for its market price that's why we can say it was dumped.
While hypes are mostly created with new coins or manipulation.
1625  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: September 29, 2021, 07:28:29 AM
Agree and it is like a positive thoughts since most people on that time panic and scared of the virus since this is the firsttime we encounter this. Though their prediction was wrong but we do have a positive thoughs that by next year it would be okay but still we are here and we only have a social ending which we follow restriction so that we could be in out side. My prediction last year was 2022 but i think 2024 -2025 is the best bet that everything would be okay.
Hope. That's difficult to find now when you are hit by the virus. People became pessimistic even with the vaccine being offered.

I don't know if I can call myself lucky or just at the right time when I file my resignation in November of 2019.
Never had the idea it will be the best decision in my life for I also find a new job online that pays better than my last job. Then, the pandemic hits.
I said to myself this will only take a year and I really want to go back in the field for some social interaction because working at home is kind of lonely although it has the perks of being with your family. I am just not used to it.
It's almost 2 years now and it's exhausting to cling to that hope. People are getting weary although they are following what the government tells. It's just not working at the right pace, it's too slow.
1626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 28, 2021, 04:01:14 PM
Michael Porter Jr just secured his $200 Million + bag. I guess the Nuggets can stop making him sit the bench now. He’s an incredible talent and I’ve thought for a while now that the Nuggets were keeping his minutes down to secure a long term deal. Now that he’s signed for several years I expect the Nuggets are going to make a legitimate deep run into the playoffs this year if they can get and stay healthy.

They have 2-year great playoffs run and third from the best records in 2020 NBA season. So, I guess they're keeping their good roster and improve their chemistry and rotation. MPJ is a good addition to Nuggets' offensive power averaging 19ppg and above 40% 3pt fg. With his size he could actually be a good defender and a rebounder.
$200m max contract is well deserved for this young talent.
I was expecting so much from him last year but he is not feeling good so I understood what is happening with him.
Nuggets have shown their strength for 2 consecutive seasons and even proved a lot at the bubble defeating strong teams even when buried at 3-1 deficit.
Jokic will always come out stronger than the previous season but he cannot do it all.
Murray may come back but a win for a championship will still depend on how much improvement MPJ will have and so does Gordon.
They must maintain the aggressiveness in both ends of the floor.
1627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cheapest Way To Withdraw From Binance? on: September 28, 2021, 12:57:33 PM
I've read all the replies of OP and I can see he always uses the word "future".
Here is the other thing.  If i have usdt/usdc on the tron network... what if i cant sell that in the future?
Is there a concern if I cannot trade the usdt/usdc though in the future
You are going long-term so just pay the transaction fees in Bitcoin. That's the best possible option you could get rather than putting it in many baskets that would just stress you again about transaction fees if you want out.
It will just confuse you checking on each altcoins or stablecoins that you purchased and then having doubts about something else.
It's giving you a headache now, what more in the future?
1628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 28, 2021, 08:06:07 AM
Honestly if I were the sixers, I'd say he is up for trade for picks.  Call every teams front office see if they want him and whoever comes in with the best picks package you take.  Cut cord and move on.
Money is precious.  Grin Considering how good their GM is, he won't just give up such a valuable guy being paid with a lot of money over a quantity of players.
He will certainly look for quality.
The best thing to do so both can move on, the longer they keep Simmons, they are the ones who are losing here as their season chances to win might suffer. The decision is easy, they should not wait to get the best offer based on their expectation as they have waited too long and Simmons is not doing anything to contribute to the team.
They may been waiting until the other teams will have a change of mind and give up one of their stars in exchange for a future star. Ripening the issue.
A team that is reconstructing and doesn't really aim for the Finals this year but has some good resources.
1629  Other / Archival / Re: Historical Impact of China's Crypto Bans on Bitcoin Price on: September 28, 2021, 04:58:41 AM
No doubt, they are all FUD. They are good at spreading it and they knew there are shaky hands in the cryptocurrencies industry.
All they have to do is attack that portion and they will have a successful spread of FUD. Just like Covid.  Grin

Didn't we already learn our lesson for the last few years? They are always in the spotlight whenever Bitcoin breaks its new ATH, creating FUD after FUD, or sometimes they will pretend to break their own market to make it look real when in reality nothing was broken. It's just the media which they control that spread the news.
1630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 27, 2021, 04:50:23 PM
Even Ben Simmons averages 100 points, 100 rebounds, 100 assist per game, you can't force a player that is not interested anymore to play at the team. It's totally pointless to sign a player that already creating a drama in a team. It will affect the whole team's performance. They can let go of that Ben Simmons stats. It's not a total lose to them.
But that is not the real problem here. It's the 76ers management that doesn't want to let him go for he can be a big part of a better trade rather than forcing it now and end up with future picks. Their goal is to win this year and not next year.
And Ben Simmons is still signed with them, it's a trade that needs to happen to satisfy his request to be out of the team.
If this drama happened earlier then it could've been an easy task to look for a good deal but now it's not, Schoder was a good example of it.
It will just be a loss deal if they try to force it which will be regrettable if remembered.
1631  Economy / Economics / Re: A genius or an idiot? on: September 27, 2021, 10:13:24 AM
If that won't happen, you won't learn a single thing about the crypto market.
There will be moments that you need to be cornered to push through.
I have invested again in some NFT during the dump, I think it's a good chance for an entry especially for expensive NFT tokens that are circling around.
Now that the pump is happening I may harvest some of it and think I am a genius. Or, will I be an idiot rushing the profits. I'll take anything as long as there is profits.
1632  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ¿What altcoin is good for beginners? on: September 27, 2021, 07:52:55 AM
When I was a beginner it was Bitcoin as my main focus, you can a lot when you start there.
Afterward, I stretched the possibilities of making profits with other cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum, BNB, and more.
The next step should be Ethereum unless you are going for a BTC/USDT trade. While learning that, you will have a broad idea of how other projects are being made or what is their service. Take it slow, don't rush the possibility to heighten your knowledge about each crypto.
1633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 27, 2021, 02:21:10 AM
I'm just curious, what is the religion of Wiggins? as honestly, I don't know any religion that prohibits its people to get vaccinated.
I am kind of intrigued too. I know some religions do have rules with blood transfusion but I haven't heard about needles and putting liquid in their body.
Besides, that needle will be thrown afterward, it's a one-time usage.

NBA already cleared that it's not about the religion. But regardless, Wiggins should know that there will be something like this that will happen when he joined the league that even he disagree with something, he needs to comply. It's the job they take. Not just him, but I doubt all people the same with his religion are not having the same thinking and possibly, got vaccinated now.
I think Wiggins cannot provide the right reasoning to be exempted in this vaccination process that is why his claim was denied.
Maybe if he could stretch the information, put in details why or show what is in their Bible then management may find a way to make it work in a different method.
1634  Economy / Economics / Re: China Is making Fuds Since 2017, But BTC Always Gone higher on: September 26, 2021, 01:25:07 PM
Don't forget, we are human, we are bound to learn.
Once we learn that they are doing this on purpose we tend to adapt to it. There will be times we won't believe anything they would say anymore.
They may have the upper hand now to control the market because of being one of the countries that are growing but once Bitcoin is divided into a lot of users there won't be telling where the price would go.
1635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance NonVerified Account Questions. on: September 26, 2021, 11:16:12 AM
KYC verification would only increase your daily limit, but eventually, in the long run, they will require a full verification before their users can use the platform due to the strict regulations.

You can still enjoy trading of how much amount you want, but your withdrawal will only be limited to the figure you mentioned.

However, if you want to be safe that your account will not be compromised, I suggest you to follow the basic requirement, otherwise choose a DEX.
It looks like the "long-run" is now. I tried the Binance android application and the trade section or the market tab won't open. It's just deposits and withdrawals that I can access with.
They might be going thru their strict rules now and will try to put KYC on every user slowly. I don't disagree with this and I think there might be a larger reason into why they are going thru extreme changes. It might be for the better of their business and user experience.
1636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 26, 2021, 04:14:23 AM
But if that is true, the hell Irving is thinking. First, thinking the Earth is flat even backed by solid proof that it isn't and this one, connecting vaccine to supercomputer lol.
I hope it's true. Damn, I don't know if I laugh or what. This is a higher/est level of fantasy, I want to connect with his brain to have the same kind of vision.
Who knows, maybe I can learn something else.

Yes, that local restriction without exception imposed to the state of New York, Brooklyn and Golden State leave players that don't want to be vaccinated, with no choice. New York players already comply with the local rule leaving Brooklyn and GS with unvaccinated players. If Irving and Wiggins will keep their stand, it will impact their home games winning percentage. But regardless, Nets and GS can still stand strong without these players. I think soon, they will be undergoing vaccination. Just creating drama today.
12 years above according to their local rule. All of them should be vaccinated especially the ones in the entertainment industry.
But what if it's a strong religious belief? Will they really force these guys to undergo the vaccination?
It should be respected and management should also have an agreement with them. Perhaps, players could use their own money for their routine testing.
1637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ultimate slot experience on: September 25, 2021, 12:04:15 PM
Will there still be joy in playing it if you know the way around?
I think the benefit of playing it is the surprise of winning the jackpot. That's a joy that's could never be faked.
I have played slots before but I got rekt a lot of times so I stopped it. There is no way there could be a cheat in playing it and if it exists I don't think the team behind it would just let it go.

As of experience, I didn't have good stories to tell so I'll keep it.  Cheesy I think I'd just stick with sports gambling.
1638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China says all crypto transaction are illegal on: September 25, 2021, 09:37:00 AM
They can ban everything in their country but it stops there. They cannot do it worldwide since they don't own the globe.  Grin
They keep on pushing about banning Bitcoin and they did it a long time ago. It's just digging the grave to create sympathy and make people be part of their madness.
Looks to me like they'd do anything even if they stoop so low just to bring down the Bitcoin technology and then offer their self-created cryptocurrency. It's too damn obvious and they want control with multi-billion dollar industry.
1639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 25, 2021, 05:26:11 AM
NBA denies Andrew Wiggins' request for religious exemption from vaccination

^ San Francisco rules. As a result, he won't be able to play home games for the Warriors until he gets the vax. There's also the same rule in New York and all of the Knicks team have complied. On the other side, some of the Nets players aren't vaccinated yet.

You might want to consider these things before betting on games. It's not mandatory but they put pressure on these players. It's a sad reality but NBA has to adhere to local regulations.

It's the new world like you are a zombie if you ain't vaccinated. I think there's a good discussion about this in the politics section.
Now we as sports gamblers will have to list all players that ain't vaccinated yet. More work was added while also listing the injured players for every team.

I don't agree with the mandate but it's to protect every player that accepted the agreement. It won't be fair to them if they will be playing against a team who believes the vaccine will not help while they do.
I think this is also a requirement for the entertainment industry to continue with their business.
1640  Economy / Economics / Re: How has inflation affected your savings and investing? on: September 24, 2021, 04:44:58 PM
It does hurt the budget but we also saved more because we don't really go outside when the pandemic shocked the world.
How come? Expensive kinds of stuff are always bought at malls or shopping centers.
Since we cannot get out anymore (we just don't want to) because of the terrifying illness that might be passed unto us and then with kids we tend to save more by avoiding to eat at fancy restaurants and buy things that we don't really need.

But it did hit the water and electric bills because we are now inside the house the whole day.
About food, vegetables and meat products are still okay but it is fruits that hurt my pockets. We want to be as healthy as we could to avoid being sick but it hurts to see that being healthy means you need to be almost rich.
Savings - As said above, when we break down the total amount spent pre-pandemic compared to now, we actually saved more.
