They should not be peeled if they were swept by yogg, or am I missing something 🤔
That is correct...though in the rush to peel I think I couldve peeled one or two that didnt have any funding whatsoever.

I agree me as well. BUT for any large BTC loaded items I only trust the original founders of our hobby once like Casascius and Bitbills...and the rest that have anything with less than $50 or less such as Satori's
possibly offer the same for your coins then? your coins were 1 LTC, 1 XMR and 200 doge - only the doge was under $50 the LTC was 70ish at the time if i recall and the xmr was around 150 It is not that I dont trust you - I just dont like to have that much locked up on a collectible - it keeps me from buying more collectibles - that is why I liked cold keys - were all at 50 euros I hear ya and I feel ya...my latest 3d ones are only 0.0001 BTC and a loaded NFT...so less than $3 in BTC well go a bit higher than that sir lol the $50 range is a sweet spot Will keep the sweet spot in mind

As someone kind of new to this forum (only recently active), I wanted to add my 2 cents.
I prefer loaded collectibles, the DIY are interesting, but aren't my personal preference. I accept all risks associated with storing my collectibles, I realize I do not have access to the private keys until they are pealed, I keep them in a safe (heavy one that would not be easy to access/steal) and hopefully no fire occurs, etc. I invest a very small percentage of my Bitcoin in collectibles..... I mainly buy to support the community, as I see this as a valuable part of Bitcoin's history and will help with adoption in general. If I lost all my collectibles, it would not do any financial harm at all. I accept a certain amount of risk with the creators.
Again, just adding my perspective.
Thanks!
Mark

Both addresses that were swept to (` 3BBNmksdPw63ghuNEeFsfPkwXaiqYJH9e7` and ` 3BZDT1rhf7vnabzASuiLzDBBbgDfHivdRd`) are now confirmed HitBTC addresses, as both were transferred to the HitBTC cold wallet. Looks like Yogg is going to cash it out/has actually sold it.
I've messaged their legal team, which probably won't help, but it should at least get his account shutdown. Feel free to contact them as well. The more the better IMO. Just in case anyone missed this on the other thread! I implore you to contact https://hitbtc.com/legal-information https://hitbtc.com/

Very well written and technical as well. Interesting concept kinda like a Multi sig correct?
Thank you! In a nutshell, is a Bitcoin multisig 2 of 2 one key from producer sealed into the object, one key from customer. Yes Love the idea! It could definitely work.

Is there anyway of checking which addresses belonged to which sets? I have a gold AP halving set that I won't be able to physically access for a while. I'd assume it's almost certainly been sweeped, but it does look like there are 3 halving addresses still intact right now. - loans that should have been returned long time ago (to Mopar, Polymerbit, Agrawas and possibly others)
He also borrowed money from me, and still owes me $1500 (+ interest). I had no idea he borrowed money from so many different people. Sorry to hear that...I wonder how many more are out there! You should ask Loyce as he might have the answer to this.

I think it's good to explore ways to keep people honest. That being said, personally, it has always seemed to me that people are willing to sacrifice some of their security for simplicity. I thought about offering coins with the suggested methods but I don't believe anyone would actually prefer that and assumed the level of education and assistance that would be required for most users would be more than I'd personally be willing to take on and I don't think the users would want that either. I'm not saying it shouldn't be done or that there isn't a market for it, but my ultimate solution was to try and make coins that were cool and demonstrated the ability to hold BTC, but wouldn't require deposits to load them or eventually hold so much BTC that if it were lost by the user it would be life changing. I'm often criticized for my coins not holding more BTC, but I'm not sure those complaining consider that I didn't ever want to be the guy that generated keys that held thousands of BTC for others. I wanted to be the guy that made demonstrably cool coins...
I think a standard of 2fa or multisig being established for makers wouldn't be a bad thing and maybe for loaded coins it should be something customers should consider. However, I only own 1 2fa coin, the 1000 BTC Casascius Gold coin, and I'd honestly prefer if it wasn't 2fa. I believe coblee even once said that none of the people he sold the coins to ever even asked about the 2fa, making it beyond worthless.
Wouldnt the 2Fa be an issue like with Titan? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5369583.0 Again if a website isnt kept online or anyone operating it is corrupt then it aint such a great idea IMO.

I read this and only one truth I can see in what he said....
Since my name came up in that convo
The halving cards were my idea to have two cards and together make one image.
And yes idea was to have them all loaded on the first block of the halving. So that part is the only truth.
my whole problem with his explanation about keeping keys to fund them with the first block - you dont need pk's to do funding , addresses can do that. so wtf have copies? and then after they were funded why then not destroy the keys? then he said oh I found the gold keys too... Your right on all of this...I have funded multiple addresses ( up to 50 once) in one broadcast and all I needed to keep were the public keys. The privates destoyed right after printed out. So no need to hodl any priva keys whatsoever.
