So far, I don't believe Yogg's actions were premeditated as he would have swept everything by now. Why steal $15k when he can steal $500k?

I believe he stole what he had access to steal at the time. Hopefully he doesn't have other files in other locations that he can access in the future but it's a big possibility.

I agree with slimzak and am also very hopeful 🤞 as my large coldkey collection is in a location I cannot access due to weather currently. He wasn't out of his mind when he made the majority of the wallets according to many reliable sources that know him on a personal level

Lol... That's a personal problem IMO... I've been here since 2014 and lost a Cas Goldie in the mail in 2018... I also lost over 20k in one night, so duh yeah... I know the feeling.

He’s new & hasn’t been through what you OG’s have seen.  I just read his other posts in another thread where he said he lost a full coin in premium or something like that. I think his other purchases were also scam prone as well.. a titan & a polymerbit with a Yogg-made PK.

We all know mopar is a good guy.. don’t think his anger is directed at him.

BTW were you aware of his gambling addiction? Because it's the first time I hear about that. Does anyone know on which games he was gambling precisely? He was a pocker player, a sport bettor or just a casino gambler? Trading could also be a kind of gambling activity so I hope no other reputed and famous escrow will fall like that again for an (supposed) addiction issue.

Came across this in the early hours of today but couldn't comment at that time because i was on mobile...

This is really disheartening, outsiders signing up on this forum to scam us or possibly succeed in scamming some of us is not as painful as that which we do to ourselves here, most especially when it came from a user that's been trusted by majorly all forum members since day one.

Yogg is a big disappointment, I've watched the collectibles board for some months now since I discovered I could actually own physical bitcoins, I was in preparation waiting to clear a loan I owed a lender on this forum so that I could place order for some of this collectibles, and then this...

I am really disappointed, and my heart goes out to all the innocent peeps that lost their previous bitcoins on this rugpull, Now I wonder how other creators of this collectibles will ever make sell again, as this incident have created a massive trust issue.

My knowledge about collectibles are zero. Always saw cool guys in the collectible sections, love each others and collect things from each others. They do free raffle, giveaway and many more things. One of the reason I never found the section interesting is because even if I buy anything I will need to provide my postal address to someone (I trust or not). I don't know if I should feel better for myself while I see many of you lost your coins because you trusted a trusted guy who had years of positive history on the forum.

But I defiantly feel better that I did not have to trust anyone and later to regret. Isn't bitcoin thought us to verify not trust?

      The halving cards were my idea to have two cards and together make one image.

      And yes idea was to have them all loaded on the first block of the halving. So that part is the only truth.

my whole problem with his explanation about keeping keys to fund them with the first block - you dont need pk's to do funding , addresses can do that.

so wtf have copies? and then after they were funded why then not destroy the keys? then he said oh I found the gold keys too...

    Your right on all of this...I have funded multiple addresses ( up to 50 once)  in one broadcast and all I needed to keep were the public keys.

    The privates destoyed right after printed out. So no need to hodl any priva keys whatsoever.

Is there anyway of checking which addresses belonged to which sets? I have a gold AP halving set that I won't be able to physically access for a while. I'd assume it's almost certainly been sweeped, but it does look like there are 3 halving addresses still intact right now.

- loans that should have been returned long time ago (to Mopar, Polymerbit, Agrawas and possibly others)

He also borrowed money from me, and still owes me $1500 (+ interest). I had no idea he borrowed money from so many different people.

I just now saw this thread! What a dark day in the history of Bitcoin.


I am really sorry to anyone that this happened to and hopefully you can all receive the proper justice, as with the FTX case. It saddens me to think that people are still so small minded or desperate as to become scammers or thieves.

I hope their addresses are reported and perhaps the thief is dumb enough to try to move their stolen loot unto an exchange which monitors scam reports and will freeze his account.

People are going to see Bitcoin in a worse light now, all because of Bitcoin-related scams which seem to be happening very often. And worse how this will effect the Bitcointalk community.
