1641  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Diff thread aug 23rd to sept 5th. Picks are open . on: August 26, 2015, 05:07:51 PM
I would like to take +0.76-1.00%
1642  Other / Archival / Re: Diff thread Aug 8 to Aug 22nd picks are open. on: August 14, 2015, 10:06:11 PM
At least price is going up a little bit.  Currently around 266 now if we could only get in 270's again.

Hopefully difficulty goes down a tad though.  Would rather have the 1-2 percent.

for the hashrate and difficulty... it seems too crazy to mine now.

My theory is that the lower the price, the higher the difficulty should be a slightly low difficulty... but then again s7's?
1643  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Genesis Coins SERIES 2/ what coin do you want to see? on: August 13, 2015, 08:54:25 PM
I would say it is a good idea to have bitcoin, dogecoin, litecoin, peercoin and probably namecoin. Some of the bigger cryptocoins.

Thus giving that variety part, so that collecting is fun.

Silver is a great idea because fine metals are always pretty.

That is just my two cents for coins, as well as maybe a cap of 20 coins per set...
1644  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining! 88 blocks solved! on: August 13, 2015, 03:01:26 AM
Is there any stat page to see all blocks That are found with this pool ?

I don't believe there are any on the pool's web server. This probably has been done to have better latency. I know ck has told people no to ideas of having more functions on the pool itself, as block solving is whoever is fastest to solve a block and have the network confirm it
1645  Other / Archival / Re: Diff thread Aug 8 to Aug 22nd picks are open. on: August 11, 2015, 05:57:30 PM
I will go for -0.26 to -0.50%

I feel as if many miners can't sustain mining with the price this low...
1646  Bitcoin / Mining support / Dumb RPI question on: August 10, 2015, 05:51:46 PM
I know I can putty into a rpi. But everytime I close the connection it closes the session on the pi. Is there an easy command that can continue the process when closing the connection?

I tried google, probably didn't search the proper terms.

Holy crap, I won!  I'd like to thank the members of the Academy, my Director, and my crew because without them, none of this would have been possible... oh wait... wrong event Smiley

In reality, thanks to suchmoon for providing the contest funds and Phil for managing it.  Also, thanks to notlist3d for starting up the thread this time while Phil was on vacation.

Congratulations on the Oscar award! ...oh wait I mean the contest Cheesy

Well we are nearing the end of this cycle. Looks like to the moon fell from 300 to 280. At least miners will have a chance for a little longer. We are getting closer to fall... So get those paperweights into heater mode!
1649  Economy / Collectibles / Re: **LOWERED PRICES** Ezeminer's Sale (Coins, Bitcoin Bars, Hardware and Fun) on: August 06, 2015, 04:25:21 AM
What condition are the 3 Lealana .1BTC "Buyer Funded" marked silver 1/4oz. Coins in?  Are they already funded with 0.1btc or no?

They are not funded. I can post pictures of the ones you would be recieving within a day or two.

0.01

Could I retract my bid? Since nobody has really bid on this.

I didn't notice I would have to fund 5 BTC.

1652  Economy / Collectibles / Re: How To Buy Physical Bitcoin? on: August 05, 2015, 12:22:55 AM
Stop all of this...if you want your boyfriend to love you more buy him a casascius coin.  There are plenty of people that can help you.  In that price range I would go for a 1BTC 2013 casascius brass....if you really want some love bump it up a bit and buy the 1BTC casascius silver.  Best bet.  Otherwise I would go with a lealana bitcoin.  My two cents...

+1. Casascius was one of the first coin makers and one of the most sought after. You could buy a brass one from camolist for 1.3 for a 1BTC loaded coin.
1653  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling VERY RARE UNCIRCULATED MS+ CONDITION COINS!! on: August 01, 2015, 03:36:17 PM
Roll Eyes

Ow, I think I injured my spleen laughing so hard.

I'll give ya $5 for that lovely 2000 US mint set.  I'm serious.
I thought it was funny. Looked at the pictures. It was just mint sets that are sold each year to many visitors at the mint....
1654  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2013 Casascius .1 BTC Silver MS-68 [Funded][Ends August 1 4PM EST] on: July 31, 2015, 01:10:58 PM
0.1's seem hard to sell since they are all in the market

What does this mean?

All the Casascius coins are "in the market", most if not all have been sold and distributed. I'm sure Mike kept a stash for himself but still. What do you mean that these are hard to sell since they are all in the market?

Sorry I might not have made sense.

What I meant was in the last two months more 0.1's sold or have been advertised for sale, than the months before. There have been like 2 MS-68's for sale, 3 MS-67's and some ungraded coins as well
1655  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB $1223 machine from Amazon on: July 31, 2015, 01:08:22 PM
You are more likely able to get the funds from gyft. I don't know, but I believe many people would want some sort of commission for buying it.
What is gyft?
On purse.io people happily pay for items on amazon and provide up to 25% off the list price for the ability to buy bitcoin with CC.

https://www.gyft.com/bitcoin/

Hi.

Something I want to buy on amazon.
Used, from the "new & used" section so purse.io can not find it in search or wishlist.
I'd like it sent to me.
Escrow only with a legendary member with 50+ escrow transactions, and 5+ escrow transactions within the last 10 days.
I don't want to get ripped off because this forum crashes every few weeks.

PM me if you are able to help.

Machine is $1200 with $21 shipping.
Purse does 10% off.
I would like 10% off.

You are more likely able to get the funds from gyft. I don't know, but I believe many people would want some sort of commission for buying it.
1658  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Exactly one year away from block halving on: July 30, 2015, 04:25:00 AM
As the litecoin halving happened in the last month.

The litecoin price went up, but the halving hasn't happened yet. It's a little less than a month away.

Shhhh I did not just edit my post.

I think it will be interesting to see the hardware sales. As well as the exchange rates. I believe with financial news as well will push around prices a little.
1659  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: July 25th to Aug 8th diff thread (temp) on: July 29, 2015, 03:57:30 AM
I will pickup +1.01-1.25%

Also welcome back phil. Sounded like that was good to get a vacation from the wild bitcoin life Cheesy
1660  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Exactly one year away from block halving on: July 28, 2015, 01:54:15 PM
I feel as if the BTC price will be jumping on a larger scale compared to litecoin. As the litecoin halving is coming soon.

But I also feel that we will see the same things happen, it will peak then everyone will sell back to fiat.
