Well I got the score right on the Man United game. I just picked the wrong team  Cheesy. What the hell is going on with Man United? Ollie was boasting that their result against Liverpool was a good one because they were still in the game until the last kick of the ball, but what's his excuse for getting beat 2-0 at home to Burnley? You know their team is shit when you've got Harry Maguire as captain. Surely De Gea should have the captaincy by now?

Anyone going for anything other than a Liverpool win tonight against Wolves? A draw is looking tempting to me but I'm not sure. Liverpool played them at home just after Christmas and only managed a 1-0 win and the week before that Wolves beat Man City so Wolves getting a point at home isn't a long stretch. A Wolves win would actually take them above Man United and into 5th place and potential get them another Europa place if they stay there. I think I'll watch that game tonight either way.

I do not pay anyone to trust or distrust anyone else. This ability of yours to see conspiracies where none exist is a large part of why I distrust your judgement.

be sure to check my trust wall feedback of you in a little while.
As I said before, it's nothing personal, and I don't really understand why you insist on making it personal.

This and this. I don't really trust him because of his often widely inaccurate feedback he leaves and the logic he usually arrives at to justify leaving a lot of it, but he does loves his conspiracy theories once someone distrusts him and it can't just be because of his behaviour but there needs to be a conspiracy or other reason why you're against him. He of course invented his own little theory after I distrusted him and he accused me of being Quickseller several times, and by his recent behaviour he probably still thinks that or at least has some suspicion.
1643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 22, 2020, 12:57:03 PM
Arsenal showed a lot of fight & resilience last night which is something that’s been missing from previous regimes.

Good for them.

I wasn't expecting them to get the draw, especially not away and then considering they were down to ten men for most of the game. Props to Newcastle also on the draw and for getting two in injury time as well. Nice overhead kick from Lejeune who got both of them as well.

Anyone going for anything other than all home wins today? I don't think Man United and Spurs should have any problems winning by a goal or two, but Leicester are the one I'm a bit worried about. I still think they'll clinch the win but losing their last two games to pretty poor teams has me questioning if they're going to go on a downward spiral now. The fact that they're playing at home and against West Ham who aren't great either is making me go for the home win but West Ham are only out of the relegation zone on goal difference right now and they're tied with all Bournemouth and Watford on 23 points each so I'm a little concerned about what might happen in that game.

It takes a lot to apologise when you're wrong and you could have just left this and not said anything about it in the hope it was forgotten so I respect you for that. Nobody has to be best friends here but I hope people can move on from certain issues especially when in the grand scheme of things they're certainly not unforgivable behaviour.
1645  Economy / Reputation / Re: PrimeNumber7 is an alt of Quickseller, Take 2 on: January 22, 2020, 12:12:11 PM
I'm not sure how much I like staff using backend information, or arguably confidential/PM information, against users like that...

Who knows... The next thing I know staff could be blabbering about my email account(s) used on the forum and have any users pissed off at me brought very close to my family's home...

How much exactly should staff-only information be expected to remain private?

When should one expect even the IP log to be leaked?

You basically have my dox, so how safe is it in your hands??

I'd like to think I could trust Bitcointalk against anything but legal subpoenas within proper jurisdiction, but maybe not?

Maybe I should ditch this compromised account and go full anon..

Aside from Admins, staff have access to very little information. I couldn't leak your info such as IPs and emails or anything else even if I wanted to and there's a huge difference between commenting on words/phrases being used and actual private information.

Theymos also won't give out your info unless with a subpoena. I believe he's ignored many legal requests before if they're not legally required. For instance, if the police merely asked him to give yours or my information out I don't believe he would. However, if it was court ordered then I'm sure he will comply in most cases unless he believed he didn't have to (for instance, I'm not sure how valid say a Chinese or UK warrant would apply to a US-based website). I think theymos has even commented on these requests before where he's refused to hand things over because he didn't believe they would be just or helpful to their case (though don't quote me on that but maybe someone can find the times he's talked about this sort of stuff).

Seems BCT has turned into argument city recently.
But if someone has alt accounts they should be banned.

Alt accounts are allowed as per forum rules. If someone has alts that have already been banned then that's a different story.

in fact just to be clear---i don't give a shit about quickseller. what i'm obviously bothered about is this lynch mob culture, and the tendency to throw spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks. the OP admitted he lacked proof but wanted to make the accusation anyway, just to see if it would develop into the downfall of PrimeNumber7. and truthfully we all know: you don't need proof if you get the right people on your side. the danger of mob mentality is ever present....

Well unfortunately that's just something that happens around here and most of us probably get dragged into at some point. A lot of people will hold grudges when they feel like they've been wronged by someone or they've lost money or earning opportunities because of others and this sort of tit for tat to try take the other down will be infinite until one person finally goes over. I definitely think there are certain cases that should have truces called upon, but it's easy to say when I'm not the one in it.
1646  Economy / Reputation / Re: PrimeNumber7 is an alt of Quickseller, Take 2 on: January 22, 2020, 09:56:45 AM
i just feel like people ITT are trying way too hard to claim/imply there is proof of a connection. there just isn't. we all have the same suspicions, but that's not good enough. red tagging based on this seems abusive/retaliatory.

People are giving what they believing to be proof of a connection and it's pretty damning evidence to me when you count it all up, but yes, the smoking gun is missing. To compare hypothetically, if somebody took QS to court over this he'd likely get away free, but so did OJ. Sometimes all you need is a little doubt to walk away in the eyes of the law but in the court of public opinion we all know OJ is guilty even if there wasn't enough to convict in the eyes of the law (or you just have a really good lawyer who can talk a good talk and sew enough seeds of doubt). I wouldn't tag QS negative but I never tagged him originally anyway, but I think a neutral based on the evidence we have would be fine if that's what people want to do. I am however waiting for the day that everyone can move on from this though as it will just carry on forever otherwise and QS will probably always be here on one alt or another and this game of cat and mouse will likely continue on.

but it was all but confirmed for me when I noticed both you and QS reporting posts with the exact same phrasing. The odds of that happening between two random people is very rare and obviously not something someone else can mimic.
That can give false positive result, someone ask you for advice and you say "report it to moderator, write this in comments: (insert comment)". So they just c/p that and report post or use very very similar words. It is nothing unusual I guess. How many similarities are you talking about, if it is not secret?

Well sure it can, but so can everything else that has been presented, but it all adds up and it to be a mere coincidence or all false positives would be ludicrous to me. I can't tell you how many similarities there was on the reporting because I didn't keep count and reports are expunged after a month or so, but it was something I noticed over time and was finally like, where have I seen that report before. I copied and pasted a couple and there were direct hits on both QS and PN7. Most people probably keep their reports saved in their browser like I do, so you just use the drop down menu and choose the appropriate one and I'm guessing that's where he slipped up. Or he could have just typed them out again as much like the similarities that can be found in the phrases and language used of people posting publicly the same happens for the report queue. Some people report so many posts you become accustomed to them and you don't even need to look at their name to know who it was that reported it.

We could go down the path of comparing all contributors to this thread with each-other and cite examples such as hilariousetc and Quickseller using the expression

Code:
BTW

Well you could, but that's why you're a moron and nobody takes half of your deductions seriously. BTW, both me and QS/PN7 both use periods at the end of our sentences. Coincidence? Possibly.
1647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 22, 2020, 09:15:00 AM
My first pick was 3:2, now I’m fixed on 2-2
But, you never know what my mind will do until the beginning of the match Smiley

Congrats on the correct pick. I did abysmal and only got one measly point from last nights games. I didn't watch any matches but looks like I narrowly missed out on the Sheff/Man City game as City only won buy one late-ish goal. Only three people actually went for the draw so it's a shame I couldn't grab a point from that game. Only examples got the result correct of 1-0 which is surprising to me. I thought more would go with the narrow one goal win.

More than being a show-off, Ronaldo always try to show superiority complex over Messi. He is always running a race against Messi, don't know if Messi even acknowledges his efforts or not. Messi removed his shirt in the El Classico prior to that one. But Messi was playing at Santiago Bernabeu and match was at 2-2 and he scored in extra time which was his 500th goal. This all justify why he removed his shirt. But the Ronaldo's act was purely envious based and he was rightly punished as he received next yellow card just 2 minutes later and was sent off.

I won't compare Salah's act with Ronaldo's as he removed shirt because of the joy of scoring against Man Utd but that may send negative message to people. It may have looked like Salah was excessively desperate to score. I could have imagined something like that from Lingard who is not able to score even a single goal this season but Salah already have 11 in his basket.  Grin Jokes apart, it is kinda disgraceful for the opponent.

I can understand maybe taking your shirt off if you score the winning goal in a cup final or a match that matters but Liverpool are 13 points infront of everybody so win or lose it doesn't matter that much right now. I know it sealed the game for them but so would have an extra minute as the game was over with the next kick
1648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 21, 2020, 05:25:20 PM
Guys, remember to submit your predictions for this week. I just realized Matchweek 24 starts tomorrow! And we even have a London derby!  Shocked

I'm sure a few peeps will miss out their picks because of these sneaky midweek games. Another load of largely unexciting games for me and a lot that I can't split again so I've gone for a load of draws. No games I'm particularity excited for but I might watch the Sheff / Man City game just for the potential upset. Anyone backing United to win or to grab a point? I don't think it will be an easy game for City especially away and coming from the draw at Palace this past weekend.

@hilarious: Yeah Salah saved me a lot of parlays as I stupidly added Liverpool to win by 2 goals (to get more than 2/1 odds). I actually thought before the stats confirmed it that the last time I saw that goal was from Pepe Reina (who's just joined Villa).

Remember not to be greedy trying to squeeze out as much as you can from a bet. A lot of people seem to do this with the win and goals scored or over/under etc but I think it just needlessly complicates things and make it very risky and usually only for a little extra in winnings which isn't worth it in my opinion.

LoL, don't know why Salah removed his shirt. It was just Man United, not Real Madrid or Barcelona.

I always think it's silly when players do this as they needlessly get a yellow which could cost them a ban at some point. I understand when Ronaldo does it because he's a vain twat and wants to show off his abs, but I kind of expected better for Salah. Imagine if he picks up another yellow and gets suspended which could cost them some point. Keep your shirt on and celebrate as much as you want.

Another round with some possible draws? Yes why not  Cool
Make your picks, today is a match day

Chelsea vs. Arsenal? Well, here is a chance for a draw, 1-1 or 2-2 is my prediction, still not sure what to pick as a final one

Yep, a lot of draws for me, but not that game. I think Chelsea should win here especially at home.
1649  Economy / Reputation / Re: @PrimeNumber7 is an alt account of @Quickseller on: January 21, 2020, 05:14:52 PM
I can assume he's still engaging account sales, but I haven't seen significant proof of that.  I don't think account farming is as profitable or as simple anymore.  Look at the effort he put into PN7 to developed that account, it would be impractical to believe he could do that on a grand scale.  Even developing two accounts simultaneously would be difficult, or at the very least time consuming.  The self escrow thing isn't likely to happen again, I can't imagine anyone trusting CS (or PN7) for escrow services.

So the only transgression I assume he may be engaging in is account sales.  However, I don't believe that my assumptions should get in the way of PN7's ability to engage in signature bounties.  That's really the only lea-way I'm offering him.  I'm not suggesting "forgiveness" equate to DT inclusions or trusted trading.  Quite the contrary.

Account selling would certainly be profitable and likely actually very lucrative, but I don't think this is what he's doing because it's far too much time and effort to involve yourself in and all it takes is the account sale to go bad or someone finds out that the account was sold and then bye-bye account and months upon months of your time has been wasted and for what? A thousand dollars or however much accounts are going for. I suspect QS just wants another account not related to him to earn from it in whatever ways he can and build up a bit of trust, and also if you're lucky enough to get one on Chipmixer then you can earn that 1k a month from as long as you're on there which would obviously be very lucrative to anyone.

I think if QS comes clean and admits PN7 is his alt, some of us would allow him to continue his effort to build an account with which he can earn some income, and hopefully at the same time we can prevent any effort to build false trust.  I would prefer this scenario over any other.  But, can other members of DT commit to being so restrained?  I fear the answer is no.  Many consider his transgressions as irredeemable, and would only relish in the opportunity to tarnish his alt account.

Conversely, if PN7 comes out and says that he's not QS' alt, I would not believe him.  In my opinion, his reputation would be tarnished beyond his current status of being not dishonest.

I'm sure many wouldn't care but all it takes is the one or two that do to ruin his rep beyond all repair so he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't and QS is smart enough to know this. If he admits the account is his then he's lost the game as all doubt would be removed and those who want to get one-up on him would surely pounce on that. If he says no then people will accuse him of lying and claim therefore he is not to be trusted and tag him for that so he can't really win. In this situation there's nothing really QS can say to try prove otherwise so it's wise for him to ignore this really even if some others will make their mind up based on that, but again, it's lose-lose.
1650  Economy / Reputation / Re: PrimeNumber7 is an alt of Quickseller, Take 2 on: January 21, 2020, 04:56:12 PM
I am sure there are plenty of other unique word combinations that, when paired together, are used by exactly two distinct forum members. Further, you appear to be padding your numbers with word combinations being used correctly.

Further, with the near admission of puppetry used in this thread, I would question your claim of lack of involvement in this thread, and this one...

Well sure, there are lots of similarities in the way people use language and words and phrases, but the odds of someone using the same very unique phrases or spelling errors is astronomical and the more similarities we see the more likely it becomes that one and the other are the same and I've spotted a lot of alts like this. Basically, we all know that you're QS but there's obviously no smoking gun so you're going to try hide behind that. It's like knowing someone committed a crime because it has all the hallmarks of that person and they were spotted at the scene of the crime and have the motive, but there's no DNA evidence to seal the case and certainly not enough to stand up in court so they go free on a technicality.

BTW, I always had an inkling you two were one and the same as you just start to see these things when you spend so much time on the board, but it was all but confirmed for me when I noticed both you and QS reporting posts with the exact same phrasing. The odds of that happening between two random people is very rare and obviously not something someone else can mimic. QS also does a certain thing on all of his accounts as do you which I'm not going to give away because it's an easy habit to change but it's always the first thing I look for when I see one account that has all the hallmarks of QS. I honestly don't know whether you just see this board as too lucrative to leave it alone and do your best to try rank up an account to maximise earning potential here from whatever avenues you can, or there's something more sinister going on and you've always been trying to build up to a long con or something. I'm sure many others here wouldn't have given a shit about any other accounts you had and you could have easy rebuilt your reputation over time but the way you behaved and tried to take anyone and everyone down just because they had someone you didn't like on their trust list turned a lot of people against you and makes me not trust you at all and that's why most people here are unforgiving of you.

Interesting spelling mistakes, I always thought QuickSeller was a native English speaker.

Yes, he is, and that's the point: if you're not an American English native speaker its a bit harder to judge what phrases and misspellings are common versus uncommon.

Most people have words they get wrong frequently even if they're native English speakers, and especially just turn of phrases and mannerisms that you pick up over time. It's actually hard for people to register themselves but others often notice it and over time things start to stick out even more.

Forensic linguistics never fail.

i dunno, the evidence seems really flimsy to me.

It's really not just the words though, it's the overall behaviour amongst other things. Users who sign up here and head straight to Meta and and get involved in forum politics always stand out as likely being alts and often people blatantly having knowledge of things that you would only know from being here a while sets alarm bells off. The words and phrases are just another piece of strong evidence, but yes, one or two similarities wouldn't mean much but when you put it all together it becomes pretty compelling. I wasn't even aware of the things that have just been presented in this thread but I always suspected they were the same just from other things I observed. Sure, probably technically not enough to condemn someone over but I'd bet a bollock they're the same.

At this point I'm wondering why Quickseller would even start up a new account.  It's very hard to rank up from scratch, and I don't even think QS feels the need for an account with clean feedback.  I'm not saying Primenumber7 isn't his alt, but it does make me wonder what his motivation would be if it is his account.

Well it's pretty obvious. Money and probably trust. It's also not that hard to rank up if you know what to do and where to fish for merits, much like mday was doing, and PN7 is doing pretty well in the merit and rank stakes. Sure, it takes a bit of time and effort but the outcome can be very rewarding, especially if you can get on a high-paying campaign and I'm sure he has his eyes set on the holy grail that is Chipmixer.

the PrimeNumber7 account seems harmless. i too suspect he might be Quickseller but tbh, who gives a shit? what behavior has PrimeNumber7 engaged in that warrants this witch hunt behavior? maybe just leave the guy alone.....

The people who he's attacked seemingly give a shit. I don't really care either either and let him have that account for all I care, but I don't blame them for attacking him any chance they get either because that's exactly what QS did and he launched a pretty merciless attack on anyone who he felt wronged him and they're seemingly returning the favour and unwilling to let it go like he did.

I would just say move on to both sides but I don't think either will be wiling to do so so this sort of tit-for-tat will likely continue on for ever.

1651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 20, 2020, 06:28:34 PM

I never bet these. Far too hard and too much to expect of the team even if it's Liverpool. The odds are never that great as well and often all it will take is one goal from the opposition to screw it up and that wasn't far off yesterday. You've always got to account for penalties also.

^  What if they win the CL again.  OMFG.

Well I hope so. I put a bet on them to win them both before the season started. The CL isn't going to be as easy as the PL though and there's a long way to go. I think they're probably one of the favourites but it's a different story when you start coming up against some of the European bad-boys but Liverpool are probably playing better than most of them right now.

1652  Other / Meta / Re: [Discussion] A Bug in Bounty Campaigns – Subconscious Perception on: January 20, 2020, 06:15:04 PM
If campaigns want to pay me more for my avatar then they can go ahead as I won't complain, but I think it all comes down to the size of them and also the fact that they're not clickable. If they were then I think companies would pay a lot more for them as they would be more lucrative. They're good exposure as merely an advertisement, but the fact that you can literally direct someone to your site with a click of a button in your signature is very effective, and that's why avatars are only really an afterthought for most campaigns as the little extra exposure isn't really worth that much hence why they don't command as much. It would be interesting to see if anything would change in regards to monetary reward if you could click avatars.

Got the correct score in the Liverpool game in Kloppage time  Grin. Nice assist from Alison and great run and composure from Salah. Surprised that nobody went for the Burnley win. Another one goal ruined my correct score.

Draw will count as defeat or nothing because I am feeling they will be undefeated but held for any match so please clear about this.
Draw is not defeat of course. The defeat only will count once they will lose a match and we get our pull result with that or we wait until the last match Liverpool will have.

I'd bet if it included a draw  Cheesy. I just don't really see any team being that much of a threat to them right now, but I can see them slipping up on a draw. I don't think them playing Wolves away in the next round will be easy. Looking at Liverpool's fixtures they don't really have any big teams coming up until the last handful of games at the end of the season and Liverpool will likely have already won the title by then.

Edit:  I hope Pep stays at City tho and let the fans have that rivalry.

I'll lose a lot of respect for him if he runs off and cries to another team just because they didn't win the title. He should just go again next season.

Shit! Wait, is there any other player in the pool without a point in this round ?! Looks like Hhampuz and someone else are with me. I just need to outscore either of in them in the last fixture to avoid the wooden spoon. This literally is my worse round so far in the pool.

I just checked and found out that Rashford is unavailable for United, that's made me change my initial 2 - 0 to 3 - 0 win still for Liverpool even though there's a conflict of interest between the pick and side bet I got into.

Too bad you changed it. I had it down at 1-0 but changed it to 2-0 once I saw the line-ups. Could have been 3 or 4-nil though as Liverpool had two goals disallowed.

Well unfortunately only two were draws out of the ones I picked. A fairly late goal in the Arsenal game costs me my perfect score and nobody got the result right on the City draw. I was one goal away from getting the result on the Southampton/Wolves draw as well. Would have got points on the Norwich game on the draw if it wasn't for the penalty that was given for the blatant defender hand ball. Did anyone see that? It was quite en epic save: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-qrmXXLr-c

At least they've found their reserve goalkeeper now  Cheesy.

That's quite unfortunate despite going for numerous draws to pick the wrong ones. I couldn't see the video, it keeps saying it's restricted to country, I don't know why, though.

Well it's Sky's highlights so they'll only have the rights to show it in the UK. Just search for it and I'm sure whoever has the rights in your country will come up.

5 draws from the first 7 games, how many have you got ? HilariousandClairvoyant.

Also went for 1-1 on the Newcastle game and narrowly missed out on that with the surprise 1-0 win. Wasn't expecting that. Gone for another draw today in the Leicester game. Leicester should win, but I'm not so sure after last weeks loss so hence the draw. As for the Liverpool/United match I'll wait for the line-ups before I commit. I'll be watching that game for sure.
1656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 18, 2020, 11:48:30 AM
^  Nope, never.  Not in the form they're in right now.  I pick 2 - 0 for Klopp.

I'll probably go for 2-0 but I'm waiting for the line-ups to be announced and whether Rashford plays. I think Liverpool could stuff them if he's not playing, otherwise it could be a little closer.

Made my pics, well, I played risky this round
It will be a yellow cap or a spoon at the end but why not take the risk Smiley
There is still a chance for me to grab some prizes here  Cool

I've gone for a lot of draws this so I'm not that confident about this round. Hopefully I can pick up some points on the home wins I've gone for.

There will be a drop in form, EVERY team has one.
I’m not a Liverpool supporter, but this team is beautiful to watch and unstoppable. I hope for their sake the ‘blip’ happens now , before the champions league restarts . The premier League is already won !!!!

Well except if they don't. Arsenal went an entire season without winning and there's no reason that Liverpool can't do it this season, though obviously it's very difficult to do, but I think this Liverpool squad is probably better than Arsenal's prime. I wouldn't put money on it either way though but I think it's probable they will drop a point somewhere but I don't think it's going to be against United. Maybe Liverpool might come out with a draw or something when the Champions League starts again if they decide to rest players for that.

If the government stops issuing it then there's nothing they can do unless they invent their own paper currency. People complaining, and especially criminals, isn't really going to make a difference and I don't think that would be an issue as cash will just become obsolete gradually over time naturally so it's inevitable it will disappear eventually as people will just stop using it and criminals wanting to tax evade obviously isn't a reason the government will keep printing and minting it.

It all hugely depends on a country, if Sweden announced tomorrow that they start removing cash, there would be some angry posts on the internet and maybe a hundred of protestors, if the same happened in Greece, there would be riots. But I agree with your point that cash will be slowly and naturally fading away, and that's how Bitcoin will start getting more attention - people will view it as digital cash. Bitcoin is not a part of cashless society, it's a direct opposition to it.

It's really already happening in Sweden and there's been lots of attention on the fact that it's becoming mostly cashless and likely will become the first fully digital economy fairly soon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xe-j5D9CNPY

Ikea already don't take cash and they stopped accepting cash for their public transport recently. Most are already in favour of it but as I mentioned above some of their old people aren't liking it but they're not going to be around forever so it will gradually become more prevalent and make cash obsolete. A lot of the arguments from the elderly seem to be based on really naive views like smartphones are too expensive etc. Sure, a brand new iPhone might be but you can get a decent smart phone for hardly anything these days. Cash is a dinosaur really and it is going to extinct whether people like it or not. It's only a matter of time and fighting it is futile.

Digital payments are the future, but probably not bitcoin. Cash will almost certainly be obsolete within our generation and one of the only complaints I've seen from people against getting rid of it are old people who still use cash because they fear or don't understand the tech, but in 20-30 years when they all die off they'll likely be no excuses, but this all doesn't mean that people will be flocking to bitcoin. Have you ever seen anyone using bitcoin to buy anything in the real world? Nope. It's rarity unless it's a niche shop that accepts bitcoin and people go out of their way to find it or shop there. People mostly just use their debit/credit card or phone apps these days and that's what they'll continue to use, though I guess we might see bitcoin integrated into these payment processors eventually as they become more popular/prevalent and the merchant just gets the cash equivalent. Eventually there might even be things like RFID implants or other sorts of devices that include them (bands or rings etc) that people will use to pay with but I think phone payments will eventually reign supreme because lets face it, nobody really leaves the house without their phone on them.

If we take just western world, there's still a huge contrast between countries that are going to be nearly cashless soon and those that still cling to cash and don't hurry to switch away from it. Probably the single biggest reason for staying with cash is tax evasion - merchants accept cash to avoid reporting transactions, employers pay salaries in cash to avoid social security taxes.

Well tax evasion is surely then the biggest reason why the powers that be will want to change it to digital. Cash is far too anonymous for them and that's why criminals favour it. There's even been talk in some countries of getting rid of things like the 50 or 100 denomination notes because they're the notes of choice for criminals. I think it was only a few years ago that I first saw a £50 note in person because they're that rare. Many shops wont even accept them because they're that suspcious of them and they're the most likely note to be counterfeited given their value. That's why I think it's inevitable we will eventually transition to a blockchain based system because govs can track exactly how much you're earning and also what you're spending it on, which is slightly scary and Orwellian but I think that's the way we're heading. I think most bushiness that deal with cash or the self-employed probably diddle their taxes or misreport their earnings in some way and it's very easy to do when there's no records or you're the one that's in charge of keeping the records in the first place and a public ledger of all transactions would likely put an end to that pretty swiftly.

As long as people will want to evade taxes, cash will exist, and it could be very hard for some government to fight it, attempts to quickly jump to cashless society could be met with protests.

This doesn't really make sense and seems to suggest the opposite of what you're claiming. What power would criminals have to keep the government making cash?

A very dramatic win for Manchester United with Wolves because the goal was created in the second half and it made Manchester United fans happy for his victory.
And MU lost striker at the moment, Rashford injured and MU only have Martial. The first thing MU and Ole should do is be looking for a new striker until closed winter windows transfer this session.

Rashford and Pogba will now be weakened for Manchester United because on the front lines there is nothing just Martial, it will be difficult to face Liverpool this week if Rashford is injured like him.
It will be more difficult for Manchester to win with Liverpool while he has the main players intact so this is really a dilemma for Ole.

Rashford will be fit for the weekend, Solksjaer always tries crap mind games before big games. I think Rashford will start on Sunday but let’s wait & see.

It's football not psychological warfare  Cheesy. I think you're giving him too much credit and are looking too much into it.

during last year every time I bet on them the ticket was a lost one.

In my case Is different. When I bet that Manchester United will win the game.  I lose bet and curiously I always lose in the games that Manchester united have against small teams.

Watford Vs Tottenham Hotspur

I was unsure who to bet, but I decided:

I believe Jose Mourinho will work hard to get his team to win this game. If Tottenham loses in this match the situation will be very complicated for Tottenham

I personally really wouldn't back Spurs away at Watford. No Kane and Watford are fighting relegation and are on a bit of a run currently and Spurs are coming off two losses in a row and have only won one in their last five games and that's why I'm going for the draw on that game, but a home win wouldn't surprise me either.

Anyone know how long is Mounrinho's contract to train Tottenham?
We look forward to how Mourinho to play Tottenham in his own way is it possible that Mourinho will succeed at the Tottenham club?
I think in this EPL there are many challenges because many big clubs are also competing for EPL champions this season.
Mourinho is on contract until the end of the 2023 season. It looks like this is the longest duration as long as he signs a new contract for a club. Usually he will take only 2-3 years. This time he takes 4 years. Yes maybe he sees now the team that plays attacking can play balanced too on all fronts, as demonstrated by Liverpool. Because of that maybe he tried to change the game scheme.

Doesn't really matter what his contract is as they'll probably fire him after a year or so if he doesn't change Spur's form around. They never should have sacked Poch in my opinion. The culture of sacking managers after a handful of poor results needs to change and bringing in a new manager regardless of whether he's world class or not doesn't make a difference 9 times out it 10.

People could be jailed for two years and fined $25,200 just for using more than $10,000 in cash in one transaction under a new bill being considered by the Australian Parliament; if passed, the bill is likely to drive citizens away from traditional financial institutions and towards decentralized cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

This would only be a temporary fix as if this happened and people started using bitcoin in such a way then they would just change the law to include limitations on large-scale bitcoin purchases. It seems very harsh threatening people with prison for merely using cash though and they should go after the people who have obtained the money nefariously rather than blanket restrictions and threats on all big cash purchases, which is what I'm guessing they're scared about here because I'm sure a good percentage of people using such large amounts of cash are doing it because the money was obtained in some illegal way, but obviously not all. I think a better way would be for large cash transaction to be reported to the IRS and then they can choose whether to investigate any potential wrong-doing if it looks suspicious or your taxes don't add up and this already happens in many countries, for instance if you went to buy an expensive car regardless of whether you paid in cash or not that purchase would likely be reported to the relevant government body that is responsible for looking into any financial shenanigans.

I'll also leave just this post below here what I just posted elsewhere because I think it's relevant as just because cash is on its way out or being restricted it doesn't mean that is going to boost bitcoin but rather other payment methods will likely be used instead:
