I will say in all the top known clubs in EpL, Chelsea is the most unlucky in this. With a poor result in the last match in EPL, they're still losing woefully in the champion league which seems to be their last hope. Chelsea is now brought low to the stage of not being able to score a single goal against Real Madrid. Chelsea has failed to prove themselves as the defending champions of the title. With what I'm seeing, I'm doubting that they will recover by next season
Chelsea have a big zero this season. They got eliminated from all competitions if I am not mistaken starting with EFL and FA cups to Champions League and EPL titles. Worst part is not playing in any European competitions next season since I doubt they could advance to the appropriate rank to be allowed to play there. In the Milan-Napoli match, it was Milan who advanced. Honestly, I didn't expect such a result with Napoli dominating the league. I must say they surprised me a lot. Napoli didn't play very well in both games and it was Milan who drew this one and went through. Real Madrid won 2-0 in the first leg. Today, in a game that ended in a draw in the first half, they won with goals in the second half. We can say that it is normal for real madrid to eliminate chelsea. Napoli will focus more on the league after this.

The Milan - Napoli successive three games ended today with a chaos to Napoli.
Milan was able to win in the first match in Serie A with 4 goals then won 1-0 in the first leg of Champions League then got a 1 - 1 draw in the second leg played today.
7 points and 6 goals for Milan and 1 point and 1 goal for Napoli which is out of the competition. Luckily Napoli have a good advantage in Serie A otherwise they might dropped in rank if their gap was small.

The Champions League is the only thing Chelsea have left in their hands so they had better prove me wrong about them. I wouldn't say no to watching a competitive game this time. It is up to Lampard's making the right decisions for the game too.
I don't expect Chelsea to make a comeback honestly. The players skills and concentrations are limited from a long time this season and I doubt Lampard's effect could be seen that early. In the other hand, Real Madrid are the king of comebacks at Champions League by far, how could they let Chelsea pass  In my opinion Napoli vs Milan will be more interesting to follow since Napoli could win that game and even pass to the next stage before playing penalties tho. |

Fiorentina managed to equalize the score in the 56th minute through penalty yeah that's not worse than having to lose all the points
Fiorentina made a lot of shots and on target unfortunately only one goal was successful even though they should at least be able to score 2-3 goals based on the shots.
It is a positive result for Fiorentina after all to get 1 point from Atalanta. Fiorentina didn't lose any of their 15 games in different competitions while Atalanta could barely win two games before losing again.. Such results made them at risk since Juventus aren't that far from them. |

With the return of the missing players and the fact of playing home in Camp Nou could push Barcelona to perform better and try to get 3 points from Atletico Madrid. As long as Bayern Munich can work well as a team, there will be a chance to win against Manchester City. Some of the teams that have beaten Manchester City use good teamwork and always guard their attacking players like Erling Haaland, so it's not easy to get the ball and there's no chance for Manchester City to score.
No one could underestimate the german machines but if Bayern Munich will play the same way they did in the first leg, they might end up with another 3 - 0 result. In the best professional competition in the world, you expect players to play at their best level and to see coach fixing wrong issues whenever it happens. That wasn't the case there and that created some tensions between the fans and Upamecano and between players themselves like Mane and Sane. Exactly, this is good achievement for Getafe to make draw result against Barcelona. Although they only get drawn, they have made good defense. I agree with many people who said Getafe performnace during the match was good enough. Barcelona has top quality of squad, Getafe is just a small club but Getafe can steal 1 point from them.
I understand that Barcelona have a good points gap to feel safe enough but letting points disappear like that will put them in a risky situation like Arsenal in EPL. 9 matches left in La Liga and 11 points gap, that means that Barcelona have to win in 5 matches, get a draw in 1 (or 2) and lose in 2-3 matches to be declared winner regardless of Real Madrid results. |

I'm not surprised with the results Napoli and Milan got because they have a really important game ahead in the Champions League against each other. However I didn't understand how Inter lost against Monza in a home game. They surely have a game also in the Champions League. But they have already captured a huge advantage by beating Benfica 2-0 away.
Therefore I expected Inter to focus on the Monza game completely and win it to finish this winless streak for many weeks. Winning this game was going to carry them ahead of Milan and maybe even Roma depending on the result of the Roma - Udinese game.
It is hard to understand what's going on with all this mess today! It started with Milan and Napoli unexpected draw in their respective games and ended up with Inter losing vs Monza. Top teams...playing in Champions League Quarter-finals and two of them might advance to semi-finals yet they are missing easy games! We will see Roma, Juve and Atalanta results even though the ranking will remain the same. |

I would love for Barcelona to drop points, but expecting them to lose an easy match seems far-fetched. Getafe have not been good in the last few matches, in fact they are still very close to the relegation zone this season with only 30 points from 28 matches. So today's Barcelona win is a big possibility, but I don't think Getafe should be underestimated.
Nothing interesting left for Barcelona apart from La Liga title so I assume they will try to secure it as early as possible and to piss Real Madrid fans early too. PSG and Lens, everyone is looking at that game and should be an entertaining one. The league is almost over and PSG is still leading, even if they end up losing this game, they still have a huge chance to win the league but I think they will want to make a statement with this game.
PSG need to win in today's game vs Lens so they can get away from it and Marseille together with 8 points at least. A defeat here means Lens will be only 3 points behind so they will be at risk at any moment. Mbappe, Messi and Hakimi will play since the beginning. Bayern and Dortmund both failed to gain full points this week and it was a very surprising failure, no one expected that the 2 top Bundesliga teams that were competing for the title this season failed to gain full points against weaker teams.
Bayern and Dortmund are determined to make Bundesliga interesting this season until the end of the season apparently! Whenever one of them dropping points, the other team follow it. Dortmund were leading with 2 goals for most of the game then the match was heated till the end of it by 3 - 3. Worst part is the fact that they were playing vs 10 Stuttgart players only. Bayern was leading with 1 goal but ended up getting a 1 - 1 draw vs Hoffenheim. The funny part is that Bayern have a problem whenever they face Hoffenheim. So far 4 out of 6 games ended with a draw with only Schalke and Leipzig getting 3 points in the other 2 games. Much draw  |

Erling Haaland got a brace in HT
Just like a play Haaland is making history and setting standard that will be very high for anyone to surpass in the English Premier League.
His 40th appearance for Manchester City he already got about 46 goals. This is a very high standard. With about 35 goals in Epl, he will surpass Salah and Ronaldo records and the funny part of the story is that the dude is still young and he is just in the right club to make history. What a beautiful footballer he is with experience and strength.
This is his first season and it isn't finished yet He added 2 goals today to his record. Best signing for City so far in my opinion.
Today's results were quite unexpected for Spurs and very surprising for Newcastle. I didn't think that Newcastle will lose by 3 goals to 0 vs Aston Villa. Spurs and Chelsea in the other hand were leading for a while before seeing the table reversed on them. Spurs 2 - 3 Bournemouth and Chelsea 1 - 2 Brighton. I am not surprised with Chelsea result since they aren't that good this season while Brighton is doing fine overall. The problem is with Spurs facing a weaker team.. |
