""You were asking about banking legislation in South Africa the other day. You do not need to get anything from us. You can download it yourself. Just ask for "the banking act of South Africa" and you will get a pdf version of the act. There are amendments being mooted and when they are in place I will advise you so that you also take these into account.

On an aside, can you highlight which other countries you may wish to operate in? We would like to see if our Banking laws do not conflict. ""

That is a direct quote from An employee with the S.A Central Bank. I am hoping this bodes well for Noirbank.

Hmm.  I'm trying to picture Johannesburg as the cryptocoin capital of the world...

My applications have been to multiple countries of various regions but the quickest responses have been from African nations, that makes three now vs zero from the rest of the world. In the end it may benefit me to use these countries, their laws are less strict and allow more flexibility with regards to registration of foreign owned enterprises.

1651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TimeCoin (TMC) Released! New Cryptocurrency! on: July 16, 2013, 06:39:48 AM
@SimRan - Take your hate elsewhere. TimeKoin is spelt wrong and looks like shit. TimeCoin is at least spelt with proper English and the website that possibly may be released will look over a thousand times better than half of the altcoin sites out there. TimeCoin was a test to see if the altcoin market exists, if I could compile and debug certain errors, and to just see if it would actually work. The next release will have actual features that will make it stand out, it may be renamed as well, but for now only time can tell! Tongue

uhh....your coin is shit and simran is right. hahahaha , "TimeCoin was a test to see if the altcoin market exists" OMFG WTF?HuhHuhHuh Oy who do you think you are kidding here? Sheesh, must be another 14 yr old. We are not amateurs here kid, shit is real here and your "time" just ran out.
1652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I tell if I'm mining primecoins? on: July 16, 2013, 06:32:47 AM
My understanding is, 122 is pretty good for PrimeCoin. I don't really get it myself, CPU only, whoopty-doo. Not even sure people are making enough per day, to cover the cost of running a CPU under full load, but, to each their own.

But I'm running this on my litecoin miner which already is running 4 gpus.  So isn't the additional electrical cost for cpu mining at the same time next to nothing or does cpu mining bump up my electricity cost?  I'm mining with a Sempron.

You will use a little more electricity for the CPU, but considering I've made more mining primecoins with two i7 cpus in the past few days than my GPU farm in the same time period, I would say it's worth the electricity.

excuse me.... just how small is this "farm"

1654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 15, 2013, 07:11:08 AM
Has anybody hit the golden block yet, I've been excited to see how that happens this entire time.

its basically impossible. someone 51%'d your coin and shot the diff through the roof. the odds of hitting the superblock anyway are something like 1 in 2million, and it can only happen on block 248 or 249.

I made the golden block to be hit every 2 hours although at random times.  It was nowhere between 1 and 2 million odds.  That would have been stupid.  It's been 2 hours, someone should have hit it already if someone was mining all this time unless it wasn't coded right.

I rather not.  I literally got sick to my stomach from all the jealousy and hate.  My big mistake was listening to anyone.  I paid for this coin I should have done it the way I liked it.  But I genuinely wanted to give something back to the miners not realizing what a congress of baboons they are.

And my biggest mistake was to launch a coin with no experience.  But all my friends as doctors, engineers or bums.  No programmers.  The coins launched so far are Mickey Mouse - so much better can Boone but people only care about making a quick buck.  I genuinely wanted a real coin for the long term where the payout would have come Down the line.

This can help

That's not gonna help me.  I know nothing about programming.  But thanks.

I need to team up with someone who thinks like me but know how to progrsm but I know no such person.

it's a baby steps guide, no real programming involved just follow instructions, copy and paste.

either way, you may want to desist from insulting people, some troll but they actually know what they are doing. Ask nicely and you can get proper help

sha256 or scrypt... this is the real "junk coin" sloppy work.
1657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can developers make a decent return for their work in crypto currency on: July 14, 2013, 06:12:13 PM
Much better than making yet more new coins is pick some old one that is insanely low difficulty such as Fairbrix or CoiledCoin or GeistGeld or whatever others that aren't sprining to my mind right now, mine them quietly for however long it takes you to build up a nest-egg you think will be a decent wage once you have brought the coin up to date and back into the limelight, then instead of cloning a more-recent code version to some new name, simply clone whichever of these old coins you have racked up a nest-egg in.

It is surely no harder, and probably much easier, to cut and paste something to make a newer more up to date version of one of these than to cut and paste to make some previously unheard-of coin.

For example i0coin and geistgeld both are crappier code than groupcoin, but are basically identical to groupcoin except for port, name, IRC channel and so on, all the things the cut and paste kiddies cut and paste to make a previously unheard of coin that they would have to pre-mine to equip themselves with a nest-egg of.

Plus all these old coins come equipped with lots and lots of holders who will be eager to jump aboard a newer client that doesn't crash daily (i0coin) nor eat massive amounts of RAM (i0coin, geistgeld) nor use some weird config file and data directory setup (fairbrix). Just like BBQcoin's old time users jumped aboard and brought it back into the limelight, the same can easily happen with other long-established coins that have gone through a long phase of allowing even the smallest miners to easily mine them. (Has anyone helped the small miner more than BBQcoin did? Other than bitcoin itself back in the day?)

(Fairbrix you'd take the newest litecoin, maybe wait for a new one to come out first even, and cut and paste from that.)

Heck, i0coin used to be on bitparking's mmpool, my acount there still has my wallet address for it, clone a client for it from groupcoin and very likely it'll go back onto bitparking, and heck maybe their exchange for it is still sitting waiting for its comeback too..

The problem is the A sic issue, most of us are gpu miners. So most would go for scrypt.

1659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can developers make a decent return for their work in crypto currency on: July 14, 2013, 08:40:15 AM
Nonsense, I will simply make myself a few super blocks and hard code my addy for 1%  and then be the workhorse for my coin until its popular, I developed it, I worked it so i gets to eat!! Problem? Make your own damn  coin and support it.

I did a free one and I'm happy with it, now I wanna get  paid.
