1661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Woman won $43million but was offered a steak dinner instead of her winnings on: January 10, 2023, 08:17:14 PM
Isn't this just the stupidest reason not to give her her winnings?
Couldn't they have known that their so-called machine was faulty before letting gamblers use it?
How could they do this to her?

In any serious country, such a case would certainly cause the casino to permanently close its doors.
Whether due to the obligation to pay the prize (without having the money) or fines and lawsuits filed against the casino by the person who won and also by local authorities.

It is simply unacceptable to refuse to pay the premium on the basis of such a response.
Did anyone other than the casino itself testify that the machine was out of order? Was this done in front of the woman who won, in front of some authority or someone "neutral" to this situation?
Obviously not.

We know that in most illegal casinos these machines really have a problem, but usually the problem is intentionally implanted to rob people.
Then, when there is a "problem with the problem" of stealing money, they still deny it.

Unfortunate!

I hope that this woman does not give up her rights and that the authorities give the case the attention it deserves.
1662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: January 10, 2023, 08:09:56 PM
I heard that there will be scheduled club friendlies between Al-Nassr of Saudi which has Ronaldo and PSG of France which has Messi.
I don't know how genuine this information is. I willbe glad if anyone can confirm this information and also give me date for the supposed friendly to hold because I will like to view the match.

It is true!

PSG will make a trip to Doha and Riyadh between the 18th and 19th of January. On this tour they will have the opportunity to meet their supporters from Qatar and MENA, in addition to participating in a series of activities organized with the Club's partners present at the Qatar, such as Qatar Airways and other major companies.

After Doha they will play against a combined selection of players from top Saudi clubs Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr. The game will be held at King Fahd Stadium on January 19.

In fact, this tour itself is nothing new for Qatar or PSG, as in recent years, Qatar has hosted several tours from Paris Saint-Germain, such as the Qatar Handball Tour in 2014 and 2015, the Qatar Ladies Tour in 2015 and the Qatar Tour in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022.

For those who want to watch the game, the friendly will be broadcast directly on PSG TV on its social networks and also on the beIN Sports network.

O Bitcoin continua seguro, eu acredito.

1665  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Twitter hackeado on: January 07, 2023, 01:51:36 AM

1666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: January 07, 2023, 01:40:17 AM
I don't think it's optimal for the teams in terms of logistics. If you have to travel from the North of America to Mexico for a match, it has a lot of influence. I am not only talking about the travel time, but also about the difference in temperature. It is a nice initiative that they organize it in 3 countries, but far from ideal for players and teams. I assume that all top countries will qualify for the tournament without any problems. The advantage for Canada is that they have already qualified in this way because they are also an organizing country of the tournament. Mexico and the USA should normally be strong enough to qualify on their own.

In fact, this can be a big problem.
We have already had several cases where the difference in altitude made the performance of teams in the world cup very difficult.
About the temperature, who doesn't remember the games that were played in the middle of the Amazon rainforest in the World Cup hosted in Brazil? Extremely high temperatures and humidity.
Results? Two extra hydration breaks in each game and still extremely exhausted players.

I don't understand why they are hosting the cup in three countries. It's okay that they intend to increase the number of teams and that they need more space, but look what they did in Qatar: Games taking place practically side by side and everything worked out.
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: January 07, 2023, 01:33:28 AM
Mercedes claims that they got a new fuel from Petronas, which means that it's going to be easier to run faster while spending less fuel. This could be a huge huge advantage for them because most teams take care of their fuel so it doesn't end before the race ends, if you could run full speed all race without caring about fuel that would be insane benefit.

I am not sensing it would be that big of a difference, but even just a big, even 0.1 per lap is a huge thing in F1 as we all know. Three is like 5km top speed difference as dominating others, so 0.1 second faster would mean big help. All three at the top doing their best to be fair, that's just good for us viewers.

Much has been said about the performance of engines from F1's four main fuel suppliers in early 2022.
Power decreased significantly with the entry of the E10, in which F1 engines are obligatorily fueled with a mixture of 90% fossil fuel (gasoline) and 10% biofuel (ethanol).

In fact, the E10 is not a technological novelty if we think that it is already used in several countries in street cars, including Europe. But for F1 it is a considerable change, considering that previously it was necessary to comply with up to 5.75% of biocomponents in gasoline (E5).

F1 is and always will be a testing ground for the motorsport world, teams and their suppliers face new challenges every year, learning from mistakes and developing new technologies for the following season.
1668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 Oscar Awards betting and discussions on: January 07, 2023, 01:24:22 AM
Maybe because it depends in you're own perspective. You might want something that others cannot, it is just that maybe when they conduct the survey or something to come up with the tally there are some people who chooses the same thing. It really depends on how we interpret and expect things, I like technology, CGI etc as well but I am not into marvels nor Avatar that is on the list.

At least the films are well categorized, so it is a little less difficult to choose the best ones, as the organization already places in each category the best judges who have more affinity and taste for the category they are judging.
Voting is usually direct. The Academy has about 6 to 7 thousand voting members and each one of them can only vote in the area of their specialty.
Obviously, for best film, best actor, and others where it is not possible to have this clear separation, it gets a little more complicated and this is perhaps the reason for so much controversy in which "average" films end up being nominated instead of others that most of the public might consider to be better.

Still about the best film, for those who don't know how the voting works, I explain:

All judges organize a ranking of what their favorite movies are, they don't just choose, but several and put their preference from the first to the last.
The film that occupies the first place in more than 50% of the lists is declared the winner, but if none of them manages to be at the top of the rank of at least half of the voters, a system of exclusion of the least voted appears as an alternative tiebreaker.
1669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Luck Was Measured In Percentage, Rate Your Luck In 2022 From 0-100 on: January 07, 2023, 01:13:48 AM
It's a Simple question -
Let's all assume that luck could be measured in percentage, I want us all to rate our luck in gambling for the year 2022,
From 0 to 100, rate how lucky you were in gambling last year.

Mine is certainly less than 10%.
I never bet with the intention of making money, my bets were always more for fun.
Sports games even gave me good earnings in 2022, but I always spent the surplus on riskier games of chance.
Not with the intention of trying to multiply the earnings quickly, but because I needed games with more action and entertainment to quickly spend what I had won.

Fortunately, I've always set and managed to meet a monthly betting spending target and so far I'm managing to achieve that. So, when I win something, I find a way to quickly make that value "disappear".

Hopefully by 2023 I'll end up making more and more money as I try to get rid of it Cheesy

We have some rumors about a potential LOAN of Joao Felix from Atletic Madrid to Manchester United

He is still very young, 23 years old and a potential crack in the right circumstances.

João Félix's future remains a big question mark, there are many clubs being suggested as the player's future destination, but in fact nothing is defined yet and he remains firm and strong at the service of Atlético de Madrid.

In fact, Manchester United has also shown interest in the player, being willing to pay four million euros for his loan and the entirety of his salary, but that Atlético de Madrid's demands are much higher, as they asked for 12 to 13 million euros, this is "only" three times the amount offered.

Honestly, I don't think Atletico Madrid are willing or able to part with João Félix for the time being, and despite all the "noise, everything should go on as it is for at least one more season.
1673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet is chess matches? on: January 06, 2023, 12:20:51 AM
Chess tournaments as well as checkers may be a good sports field for the betting industry. I know I would bet in a chess match as I already did that against a friend. We have gathered a group pf players in my neighbourhood. Thrn we started with a betting game where we could bet on the winner ot we could bet on first player going for a check. Ithe experiment worked out fine. So, if there was a site where you could bet on checkers or chess would you go for it?

I love board games, especially those that require more reasoning, obviously Chess is one of my favorite sports.
In my school days, chess was a frequent activity, while most of my colleagues preferred to play ball between classes, some friends and I would go to a chess table.
However, I never bet on Chess, it was always just a very fun pastime.

Currently Chess betting games seem to be in decline, I looked around here and didn't find anything that was interesting or reliable to bet on, and I believe that the trend is for it to become increasingly scarce.

Currently people prefer to bet on a game that is faster and has more action, unfortunately bookmakers follow this trend by increasingly eliminating bets on games that are less popular.

Nenhuma fintech estilo nubank cobra pra pessoa fisica

Pra negocios costumam cobrar tipo 1% se nao me engano. Depende do negócio

https://moner.com.br/blog/pix-sera-cobrado/

Welcome to Saudi Professional League thread
I think we need to create a new discussion thread regarding the Saudi Professional League as we know one of the famous players in the world is now playing in this league
it's possible that other famous players could join in so it's worth discussing, please discuss anything related to the Saudi League latest Match, News or new Players.

I confess that before knowing that Cristiano Ronaldo would be playing there, I was never interested in following this championship.
I believe that, at least in the first few months, the audience should increase considerably just because of people's curiosity.

I've been looking for the "best players" and honestly I haven't found any good players. I found some well-known names, but none that I remember seeing good acting.

Anyway, I'm not going to discredit this league, because we saw in the last world cup that the most unlikely teams and players are sometimes the ones that surprise us.
It may be that it discovers good players (and the main European teams as well) that until then were going unnoticed.

I don't know if it has already been commented here, but I just read that Haas presented its new logo to also represent the master sponsor for the 2023 Formula 1 season, which in fact had already been announced in October 2022 during the US GP United. This is MoneyGram, a digital payments company.

Consequently, they also went on to adopt the name MoneyGram Haas F1 Team.

Now, they hope to have better luck with the new partner, which is a world leader in its segment, and who knows how to "erase" the bad experiences they had with Rich Energy and Uralkali.

More than a good sponsor, Haas will need to have a more stable car to get a better placement in the 2022 season. Besides, I hope that the recent arrival of Nico Hulkenberg will help Kevin Magnussen to get good points for Haas.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone Sports Bettor or a Team Sports Bettor? on: January 05, 2023, 12:04:20 AM
A lone sports bettor, in my opinion, is someone who does not rely on another person to interpret the odds and advise them which sporting event to wager on. Before placing a bet, the lone gambler conducts his own study and analysis.

In contrast, a team sports bettor, in my opinion, is a member of a betting community or group on Telegram, Facebook, or Twitter that is led by a self-described expert in sports betting. He or she chooses the game on which to make their wager after conducting the necessary research and analysis on their behalf.

Which of these categories do you belong to and why?

I'm a little bit of both...

To base my bet, I end up being quite influenced by the opinion of other people, whether on sports analysis sites, in Telegram groups and even opinions and other bets made by bettors here at bitcointalk.

However, I always bet individually making my own choice.
Obviously I do my own analysis before betting on a certain outcome, sometimes I'm stubborn in going against the odds or what others are saying, sometimes I also prefer to bet on my favorite team, and other times I like to play against all the odds just because I believe that something "very unlikely" can happen so that I win a bigger prize.

I have never placed bets together with a team or a partner, I like the freedom to make my own choices.
