1661  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Canadian Miner Hosting Solution (beta stage - gathering interest) on: March 10, 2014, 04:11:55 AM
I am thinking of it.  I have to save up for it though.
I also sent you a PM.   Smiley

When are you looking at taking orders?
The rates are not bad considering the exchange rate as well.

I could likely start taking orders in a week and a half. If I know there is definite interest I can do my best to speed up the process. You looking to host just antminers?
1662  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Not in Stock - Free Shipping] AntMiner U1 USB STICKS - US/Canada .042 unit on: March 10, 2014, 04:01:47 AM
Excellent.
Thank you for the info.

Did they run stock at 2 gh/s like they are touting or did they need to be O/C'd like the U1's?

iluvpics  I have a quick question, will you be doing a group buy for the new AntMiner U2 sticks?  I'm looking to possibly get a couple, and as I bought all my U1s from you, I would prefer to remain loyal if you will be running one.
Thank you Smiley

I'm going to create a 2nd posting for U2 - I've been waiting for my samples to arrive before I did a posting to add pictures, but I'm going to go ahead and create a 2nd thread on here tonight and post initially orders (or as private orders) for anyone who wants to get in queue for the next shipment.
It will be the same as before, set your clock speed, and 0781 was default speed, where now you will set 0981 or 0A81 or 0B81

0581 =1.2
0681 =1.4
0781 =1.6
0881 =1.8
0981 =2.0
0A81 =2.2
0B81 =2.4

Customs are weird between Canada and the US.  I have a GPU that is coming from Canada literally a place about 6 to 7 hours away from me and it was stuck in customs for almost 2 weeks.  They just let it out friday so I should have it soon.  In the meantime I have had two other items ordered and shipping from there that both arrived.  Also I have shipped stuff up there and had it arrive in days just like I was sending it domestic.
Just odd stuff at the border.

My first purchase has been with canada customs now for 4 days

Why would they hold them? If I order it would be to Canada, please update  when you get them

Excellent.  I am looking forward to seeing more.
I wish you the best of luck with your upcoming testing.

I did the same.
 Smiley

red miners from your pictures are the unstable ones ...

Any sources or verification of this information?  @Atari, information regarding such?   Smiley

Yes, those are my own from when I purchased them in January. All my current units in stock are gold units.

Cheers

Thanks for the update.   Smiley

Still looking to purchase some of these once I get the funds together by the way, have your group buy thread favorited.
1668  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: March 10, 2014, 12:06:20 AM
That's a huge project.
Did you have to get new permits to run that kind of power?

Actually well over 200 for clients and ETC, but we are in the processes of rewiring everything. Gotta love 240v
1669  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: March 09, 2014, 09:05:18 PM
Just WOW!
Very cool and well setup too.

Guess its antfarm porn time?

Small parts of our facility.

1670  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [5500 TH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees+Orphan+NMC, Stratum, Private Servers on: March 09, 2014, 08:23:08 PM
Probably deliveries.  Many miners were supposed to ship at the beginning of the week people must be getting them.

6450 just like that...looks like somebody either got a delivery or jumped ship on another pool.

1671  Other / Off-topic / Re: Terrible Day on: March 09, 2014, 05:50:41 PM
That sucks.
Don't give up though you can retake it.
Sounds like a messed up day for sure.  Hang in there.

Mine sucks too. Fucked up in SAT. Waited for 5 hours to be picked up. Forgot the charger. Almost got hit by 3 cars.... God dammit life

Flirting with 6000 TH tonight too.
1673  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Is this realy Gridseed? on: March 09, 2014, 07:09:08 AM
Yes it is.
They are a bit expensive but a good introductory unit to start and learn with.
Here is a review I did on it. http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/2014/02/26/dualminer-sha-256-scrypt-usb-miner/
Also here is a good group buy for them.

And finally if you are interested in the 5 chip units here is a good group buy for them as well.

1674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: satoshi - bitcoin - lost of anonymity on: March 09, 2014, 05:25:39 AM
That is my hope and goal with new tech as well.
One of my biggest fears is that corporations will eventually win out and we will all be their wage slave drones with no rights other than what they give us.

As nuts as it seems I have that worry.
I have a spinal cord stimulator implant.
It is easily programmable if someone gets within a couple feet of me and has the software and the passkey.
I have already been able to download statistical information from it without the passkey.
So far I cannot make any changes to it without the passkey but it is crazy what an actual hacker could do.  Can you imagine the new pacemakers that are already wifi enabled get hacked?  Just nuts.
I am still for not wanting to be chipped at all.

Wow. It's a crazy world.

I love technology, I just want to always do my best to make sure it works for me as opposed to working for someone else while I think it's working for me.

That is good news I have been reading some of the instability issues with the red ones were frustrating.
I have also read that a firmware update fixed that for most of the red ones.

And the conspiracy theory continues. How much meth did you do to get the idea of someone chipping everyone?
It's some paranoia-futuristic-preapocalyptic madness. Woah.

Considering Google's plans for melding man and machine, is it impossible to think that they could have plans of "chipping everyone?"  Remember, generally their goal is to make something look like we want it.  If Google is successful and we they do combine man and computer, won't people that choose to not undergo this process be at a disadvantage?  It will be difficult to compete with someone that has a search engine hard-wired into their brain not to mention whatever physical disadvantages a real human might have to a part machine.

Anyway...just a thought.

I can't wait to see someone get hacked. LMFAO.
1677  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I think I know where all the Gox money went..... on: March 09, 2014, 04:10:31 AM
I think I can partially set your minds at ease at least as far as Neo & Bee are stating.
They responded to me and said they are not involved with Mark or Tibanne.
I was quite nervous myself at first as I am looking into those types of services for a story and then I saw this thread.
At least I have an answer so far.
I wrote about it here.
http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/2014/03/09/many-tendrils-mark-karpeles-paranoia-cause/

I would ask if any of you know anymore of Ukyo going to Gox to help them after the DDoS attack please PM me.
1678  Other / Off-topic / Re: Terrible Day on: March 09, 2014, 12:18:06 AM
I will check these out.
Thanks.
It is amazing what they are doing now.  In ten years it's going to be even more advanced.

It's not exactly what I looked for but it seems to show the same clinic :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7VM76qbidE
(part 1 of a series of documentiations, focussed on the results of neuronal recovery with the method mentioned above)

These google video search results basically all point in the same direction and show different individuals and their results.

Maybe another good place to look : http://stemcellschina.com/

If bitcoin was being used more by 100's of thousands of people around the world those transaction fees add up fast.  Now multiply that by millions as it gains a more broad adoption.
That is the brilliance of it.  So that eventually when new coins are gone you still have large block rewards made up of fees.
If everyone hoards them then there will still be anemic fees in blocks and it will fall in on its self.

50 btc in transaction fees?

Doubt it, unless someone makes an error, because remember the rewards are halving.

1680  Other / Off-topic / Re: Terrible Day on: March 08, 2014, 08:37:31 PM
That is something that I watch closely.
I hope that these progressions become more affordable and widespread so more people can get this done.
To have my spinal cord and nerves heal properly would be awesome.  That is so much of the pain the scar tissue that they developed.
I know in texas there is a center that is doing great stuff with actually repairing disks as well.  This cuts down on fusions.
There are so many medical advances out there it is exciting to think what the future will be like.
I will google for that video it sounds great.

Thanks for the heads up.

Not everyone has the cash, but if everything (standard western medicine) fails - since several years, China has developed some darn amazing breakthroughs using adult stem cell therapy, causing an enormous influx of foreign patients seeking help.

So far, even some longtime paraplegics managed to walk again (which at home their specialists deemed absolutely impossible), so neuronal recovery options using these therapies far exceed what traditional medicine in our hemisphere can offer at this point.

As said, however, that trip with 1-2 weeks on location will set you back about 30000$...

I've looked around for a very well-made documentation about these results by following several patients from around the globe to china and their treatment (gave chinese specialists, the patients and their doctors at home room to voice their opinions), but I can't find it anymore. It was about an hour length, I believe it was taped around 2010.
I do remember one of the patients filmed was a paraplegic US citizen that suffered from a severe car accident a long time ago, after several treatments he was able to walk short distances using normal canes.
