1662  Economy / Collectibles / Re: **LOWERED PRICES** Ezeminer's Sale (Coins, Bitcoin Bars, Hardware and Fun) on: July 27, 2015, 10:00:25 PM
Cool thanks for the discount but I don't deserve it probably. I was hoping to get just one bar.

Is .620 for the three pieces ok with you?

Thought you meant you wanted all of them. My bad.

0.62 works, just send to address in OP, or find an escrow and I will ship ASAP.

Everything else should be discussed in PM's. Like shipping and stuff.
1663  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining! 79 blocks solved! on: July 27, 2015, 09:10:30 PM

1667  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happens if double-double spending happens? on: July 26, 2015, 06:12:50 PM
Double-spending can be achieved with a 51% hashrate attack.

No. it can't.

With control over a significant majority of the global hash power, it is possible to choose which VALID transactions get confirmed.  It is NOT possible to confirm two transactions that both spend the same bitcoins (that would be an INVALID transaction). Even with 100% of the hash power double-spending can not be achieved.

Meaning a corrupt player can confirm whatever they'd like and control the transactions.

No.  They can't confirm "whatever they'd like".  They can only confirm VALID transactions. If they attempt to confirm invalid transactions (such as a double spend), then the entire network will ignore their blocks.

That evildoer would have the "Best Chain" and the rest of the network would have to work to beat him.

It isn't enough to have the chain with the most proof of work.  They have to have a VALID chain with the most proof of work.

Thanks for clearing that up. I need to get my information from better sources..
1668  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happens if double-double spending happens? on: July 26, 2015, 04:56:45 PM
For some reason it just doesn't seem to "sink in" that "you cannot double-spend Bitcoin at all".

If the Bitcoin system "actually allowed double-spending" then it would be 100% *useless* and would not have ever been known to anyone (as it would have solved *nothing at all*).

What is often called "double-spending" is just a problem of vendors wanting to accept txs before they have been confirmed enough times (the minimum being once although small re-orgs do happen regularly which is why more confirmations are generally recommended).

The blockchain will never accept a "double-spend" and the "best chain" is always the one with the most work so it will be up to the miners to end up deciding which txs are legit or are rejected in such scenarios (but you'll never find one single "double spend" in the history of the current blockchain).

Double-spending can be achieved with a 51% hashrate attack. Meaning a corrupt player can confirm whatever they'd like and control the transactions. That evildoer would have the "Best Chain" and the rest of the network would have to work to beat him.

Nice to see that you are on Bitcointalk as well! By the way, why are you holding the coins with your bare hands? You are devaluing them that way. Tongue

1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MangoCoinz Official ANN Thread - Mine cryptocurrencies on you smart phone on: July 22, 2015, 02:26:00 PM
I follow this mangocoinz..since the early day the dev announce about this mcz project. And for tbat time it is the great altcoin project and IMO this mcz will be tbe best altcoin ever be, because the way of mining is mining by smartphone..and then suddenly an update to the new app in coming and close the beta version v.0.5b with the new one ( the blue app one ).. and something happen the change of the new app precisely make many disapointed for user of this app . Limited time to only two hour mining and the mining is have to always connect to the internet, this is the big thing that make this project become not interesting for many user.
i know you all guys will say..if i dont like this app just left it and go away from this mcz community. But you all guys have to know that I and other who disapppinted with the new app are also the member of this mcz community.
i just want to tell you about something that is going wrong with the new application but nothing wrong with mcz project actualy.
i hope you all guys will understand what i mean. This is will going to fail if there is a recovery from tbe dev.
Thank you

To be honest they have made it harder to mine. which is good in some kind of respect and instead of targeting everyone they targeted runners. I have to admit since the new blue app came I have mined 0.2 MGZ total because I never go running and if I go for a walk I forget to click go.
So as a normal person I am mining nothing. I presume the only people getting coins are runners or people with a good tumble dryer with a 2 hour cycle. But it does make the coin harder to mine. If it stayed the same and the app went Viral we would be out of coinz already. So I guess it was necessity.
Rather than mine I buy on exchanges.
anyway get your self out running there is a dice site coming soon  Grin

I feel the same way. I am just going to hold all the coins from the cool orange app, until I am forced to transfer them over.

Every time I am like yea walking! Then come home and like darn, I forgot my mango mining fun.
