1661  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: April 23, 2023, 09:47:46 AM
~ That's what I wanted to say, don't be dependent on others' support. If you feel lack of knowledge in the field that you are passionate about, use the internet to find the knowledge there. Although many courses require payment, there are free courses that can give you what you need. Just don't give up. Learn what you need. And you'll find a good job eventually and will be financially independent.

You need to be keen in finding the right information and yes there's always a way for free one you just need to be more resourceful, if you want to succeed you need to work it out even there are hardship and failures what matters is you are not giving up and you are really trying your best, we never know where success will come but the feeling of achieving it will be sweeter than anything else right?

Keep trying and keep experimenting. There's always the right way to follow and once you discover it, you'll be able to enhance it for good.

So, the biggest obstacle is not trying. The biggest obstacle is thinking that being financially dependent is your fate and you have to live with it. Today, when we have the internet around, this is never the case. Yes, it can take years of unsuccessful tires, but you will find what you are looking for eventually. If you don't have time, do it once in a week, but do it.
1662  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 23, 2023, 09:16:03 AM
the winner indeed has very high chance of winning as he got 7021 tickets as compared to the total collected tickets - 24331. so he had about 29% of all the tickets.
Where did you get the 24331 from?
The total number of tickets was 1,865,694 and the chance of winning the lambo for him/her was only around 0.38%

As we can see, even with 7k tickets, the chance of winning was small. In Texas Hold'em if you are going all-in preflop with 72o, you have 12% chance of winning against pocket Aces. And people almost never call all-in preflop with 72o because they know they are going to lose.

I'm wondering if the winner had thoughts like "Oh, I have 7021 tickets, I'm gonna win this one!". Hardly, right? It was an amazing surprise for them. It's good that there are places in the world like FreeBitco.in where you be surprised like that. Smiley
1663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 101: Basics, Strategies, and Discussion (with poll) on: April 22, 2023, 02:49:11 PM
Regarding making higher bets, I disagree. Yes, you would win more in the case of hitting a high multiplier, but it would take just a few lost bets to reach the amount you could afford to lose. Too short to be fun.
yep, if I use a bigger bet amount maybe I can't get a big multiplier because my budget is too small maybe it will run out faster not until the free spins

It is not necessarily so. I mean, some gamblers claim that they win in demo mode and with smaller bets, but once they switch to higher bets they stop winning. I disagree with them. Nor do we need to make a certain amount of bets to hit a good multiplier. We can hit it right away from the very first spin. But normally if your budget for the day is $5-$6 it's not advisable to make $2 bets.

I don't know for other providers but even if you have big balance like 300-400 dollars and you play with 1-2 dollars per bet in Play n Go you will see your money draining up the fastest compared to other slot providers. In my opinion as I have been playing them a lot and I mean a lot is that there you rarely win something with a big multiplier in the normal spins and you can only win big most of the times in the bonus round which comes as rarely as possible when you play with big bets.

Pragmatic Play on the other hand makes people a bit more happy because they for example in games like Gate of Olympus and other games with same mechanics can give you a really huge multiplier even in normal spins and that is why for me they are better.

Pragmatic Play is a great slot provider and I like many of their lots, Gates of Olympus, Starlight Princess and Madame Destiny being among them. They are very professionally made and you feel good when spinning them, I agree. But slots by Play'n Go are equally good for me. They too have nice sounds and good animation. Take Wild Blood 2, for instance: I'm not in profit from playing this slot, but I enjoy playing it. Or Rise of Merlin, you can play with as little as $0.01 on it. It's almost like spinning in demo mode, only you can win something when hitting a big multiplier.

But I agree with your main point, if playing with 1-2 dollars per bet, a balance like 300-400 dollars wouldn't enough to have fun, in most cases.
1664  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 #1 VIP Crypto Casino 💠 Come in and explore our new design ✨ on: April 22, 2023, 02:07:59 PM
I opened telegram today and saw that they gave out 20 free spins to the first 100 so I was one of the lucky ones. 😁
To get it, you must verify yourself or have been verified before. It's a very simple process 😁
You must set your currency as USDT.

I won 11.65 USDT from 20 free spins. But the most important thing is that it was fun and exciting as always 😁
Thank you Bitcasino 😃

Nice. Congrats! 11.65 USDT out of the blue is a reason to celebrate. I would brew a cup of good tea, and would be drinking it standing at the window and thinking "Life is good". Smiley

And I like that you value fun part even more than money. That's how it is for me, and it's nice to see that you are not alone. Smiley

1666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: April 22, 2023, 10:47:25 AM
~ If you are already done with doing your part and you see that AI is giving you a same advantages, possible that you will proceed and take that call and place your bet.

I think AI can be more accurate in predicting the outcomes of sport events than we humans. It just needs to take into account all the data that is relevant, and ignore misleading ones. It should be prompted properly, and for that you need some knowledge about sports betting. But then it will be very helpful. More helpful then our own analysis. I'm pretty sure pf it, and can't wait to start using an AI connected to the internet for predictions.

Using the data that are available I can agree to your statement that AI do have an advantage in analysing the possible outcome of the sport events, all the shared information will be sorted out to provide better analysis and with your knowledge about the game you'll be able to back up what AI are providing and decide on your next step after confirming it with your own analysis.

We need that confirmation form the external source. We are always like "am I right?", "am I wrong?", "what else didn't I took into account?". I'm positive that if AI will come up with the same conclusions about the outcomes, it is very likely that it will be just so. If it's a guy from your neighborhood, I wouldn't be so sure. Smiley Will AI eventually beat any human analyses? I don't know. But it will surely beat many of the so-called "experts".
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 22, 2023, 10:21:26 AM
I like the first rule. Every gambler should have a set amount used for gambling and should not go over that. It is a fixed budget and if you blow that, then you should rest.

So, the main consideration here is to switch slot machines whenever you are not winning on your current machine. But, it is slot, and the chances of winning will still be the same whether it is in your current machine or another one. I do not get the idea there. If I do not hit on a machine, I just quit and try again the next day. I consider it that I am not lucky that day and try if I am a bit luckier the next day.

Switching slot machines doesn't make any sense in regards to winning. It does make sense in regards to entertainment, though. If you are bored with one slot you can can switch to another, there are thousands of them, reliable slots you can play without fearing to be cheated. So, I understand people that change slot machines. I do it too. Even if you like a slot very much, you can't play it all the time. It's boring.
1668  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: April 22, 2023, 09:43:43 AM
Right, choosing where to get info is very important. What I like about this forum is that if a misleading info will appear many people will react immediately with their replies. If it's an aggressive promotion of a scam, negative trust given to the poster can save people from believing it. I mean, it won't be just downvoted and forgotten, it will get a reaction.
We will know better and be able to prevent the scam from developing so that we can protect the people who are here to stay away from it and also help spread the news of the scam through our respective social media so that more people will find out about it. Scam promotion will not last long because once we know about it, we will criticize it and try to tell others about it. I think many people will like the response from all of us here with various kinds of positive and negative news because we can see what benefits us and harms us.

Yes, this place, bitcointalk, has a lot of experienced gamblers who are ready to share valuable info on online gambling.

~
- Aside from BitcoinTalk (this forum) where else do you get your news that you trust (which newsletters, sites, which Youtubers, any twitter accounts)?
~

I wouldn't try to get information regarding gambling sites anywhere else. I'm not saying they are lying on all other sites, but what I like about this place is that any a lie will be exposed here pretty quickly, while anywhere else, I don't know, it can take weeks, or, posts may be moderated, and lies can stay forever there.
1669  Economy / Gambling / Re: chinese bookmakers with tf gaming platform NO KYC on: April 22, 2023, 09:11:47 AM
Got curious about this, I think the Chinese government is really strict regarding gambling site and also offering it world wide. The no KYC is one of the things that people like, too bad I just read this topic and the URL seems not working anymore. It's really complicated to try out new gambling sites especially if it was created from other country and no KYC because today the no KYC policy is now somewhat to attract players and getting used by the scammers.

That's right. I'm not sure about the site in the OP, but scammers use "NO KYC" sign as often as unreal bonuses and stuff like that today. If you are not a high level criminal or corrupted official who want to launder millions of dirty USD you shouldn't be afraid of KYC. Don't be lured by shady sites, guys, only because they promise no KYC. Research further.

1672  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: April 19, 2023, 08:57:23 AM
I never learn.....

I have always said, NEVER play after Stake has paid out a monthly or a weekly, because the RTP are f#%%ed after they paid out bonuses. They do not wait to put Stake in feeding mode, it is done immediately after the payouts has been done.

So, today.. I claimed it and jumped into a Slot hunt and I paid back my full monthly back to Stake.  Angry  In any way...... I did 759 bets on one Slot and it did not give the Free Spins once...  Roll Eyes

Sorry for your loss, mate, but I think it was a coincidence. From what I know they are not watching you on the reputable gambling sites like Stake. You can win big one time, and then win big again right away. No one is turning on a "suction mode" after you win a big amount or get bonuses or something. And I'm talking about in-house games. Site has no control over games by third-party providers.

No.. for sure, the "feeding" mode is possibly on the in-house Stake original games, but you can test it for yourself. Do some DICE wagering before and after a Weekly has been paid.. and see how much more money it is costing you to wager than normal.

I do think Stake has some options to chose from with some 3rd party Slot games ..like Hacksaw Games... but it will be too much hassles to do that very regularly. (they give multiple RTP options for casinos to chose from)  Wink

No, no, that's what I'm talking about: no "feeding mode" in in-house slots either. As I said, sites of the level of Stake don't do that, they don't keep track of your winnings and losses, and they don't adjust your future performance accordingly. Everything is completely random. That's the point.
1673  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: April 19, 2023, 08:12:44 AM
I see the same casino games - dice, plinko, tower, limbo .......... Would you like to try adding a game like 2048 where you have to move squares.   Now that would be the newest thing in the gambling industry

This is a skill-based game, as far as I know, and probably that's why it is not implemented by existing gambling sites. I mean, there's a winning strategy for 2048 on wikiHow:

It might be interesting to add this type of game of skill but the casinos never seem to add it and so far I haven't encountered this type of game on any of the gambling sites I've used either.
We don't know the exact reason why the casinos didn't add 2048 but what is clear is that if this type of game was in the casinos favor then most casinos would have added it a long time ago.
I myself don't really like skill-based games because it only makes me bored and adds to my thoughts when playing.

Online casinos are not like some dictatorship states where you are forced to subscribe to propaganda newspapers, watch propaganda movies and buy tickets of the state lottery. It's a free world, where gamblers choose what games to play and no one is forcing them play games they don't like. So, what's the point of adding a game that no one would play?

^  That sht's scary bro.  Lol.  What's the sound like when you play?  I hope it's not something you don't wanna play alone in your room at midnight.  Cheesy  You know..  as a kid I used to play Diablo II.  And there are some parts of the game that made me turn on the lights and play on until day time because sleeping alone in my room at the time isn't an option anymore.

It is accompanied by some scary sounds, yes, but it's not scary as long as you are winning. Isn't it more scary to be losing again and again while hearing some jolly music? Smiley But, to be fair, I would play such a slot too, because what I'm looking for, when playing slots, is strong emotions. After getting them you feel relaxed and you can do your main job better.

@Betwrong this is a sick slot game and I definitely see value in playing this, because we’re so used to playing those normal slots with those normal sounds so yea this is definitely worth playing. Also you’re right as people will be more than scared of losing than those scary sounds, and out of curiosity are you on the green or the red when playing on this particular slot game.

It doesn't mean this slot is a money making machine, rather, I was just lucky, but, yes, overall I'm on the green from playing Blood & Shadow.

When I play slots, if there's no demand on the minimum bet size in a contest, I usually make smallest bets possible. I never win huge money because of that habit of mine, but wins like this

make me happy too. Smiley

1676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: April 18, 2023, 11:22:48 AM
What I meant was that there are sites, sportsbet.io is one of them, accepting bets on the nominees:

Maybe somewhere we can bet on who comes for second and third, but I don't know such places. Those opportunities, imo, would also be attractive.

I am quite surprised to see such strong odds for Biden and very unfavorable ones for Kamala Harris. Given the fact that the next POTUS elections are 1.5 years away, there is a good chance that Biden's health deteriorating further making him incapable of participating in the elections. At the same time, odds for Ron DeSantis look too favorable for me. His ratings have gone down like a falling knife over the past 2-3 months and even in Florida he is trailing in opinion polls. But then, I need to admit that he has plenty of time to recover.

Good observation. Is it worth betting on Kamala Harris now, in your opinion? I mean the odds are even better for us gamblers today, around 12.00, but closer to the elections they may drop significantly. Her chances of being nominated are less than 50% imo, but not less than 10%.
1677  Economy / Economics / Re: Without government job we can survive on: April 18, 2023, 10:44:26 AM
The government is very important to everyone because it can provide jobs to every person under its jurisdiction. They also implement laws that will give importance to every worker. Without government the country will not have jobs and their development will be weakened without it.

That's what I said earlier in this thread, but then realized the OP meant literally government job, like being in law enforcement, educational, medical or other governmental institutions. There are people who see working in those institutions like the only way to survive, and OP here is not one of them. All of us, we need governmental institutions and we should be thankful to people working there. But we should know that in a free world there are other opportunities, and we are free to choose them if we want.

My favourite team, Liverpool, wins by such a wide margin, and I'm getting zero points with that. C'mon, man, you should have more faith in what you are a fan of!

My only consolation is that yesterday, closer to the game, I made the right choice:

1679  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving is Wasting? on: April 18, 2023, 09:15:40 AM
Being a student is so hard nowadays. I've been spending a lot for school requirements and different activities related to education. I'm stuck with this saying "SAVING IS WASTING", thinking that with the little amount of money I have, should I put it on an investment or should I just save it for my future expenses or emergencies. I'm also living in a country in which there are limited side hustles I could do to earn extra for investment, so I'm troubled somehow.

If you spend the money you have on education, then yes, saving is wasting in your case. Being uneducated you will, very likely, spend your saved money the wrong way. For an uneducated person extra money may mean extra problems. So, I think, if you are spending on activities related to education instead of investing  with a goal of making more money, you are doing the right thing. Also, don't forget that it is never guaranteed that your investment will bring more money in the future. Likely, being uneducated you will invest in the wrong things and in the end you will get no money and no education.
