1661  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The sole difference is capital. on: November 19, 2022, 09:47:59 AM
But at the same time there's another point to be considered which is that with low capital we become more fearless when compared to a high capital.
When our capital is high and when we make investments on higher amounts we tend to fear more.
Fear eats up the profits and gets us losses. With less fear in low capital we tend to make out decent profits.

Indeed, the larger the capital, the greater the loss may be. And if you do not learn how to trade with small capital, using risk management in your trading, then all the mistakes that were made will be automatically transferred to trading with large capital.

Yes ofcourse and that is the reason most experts advice to start slowly and trade with a small capital in the beginning.
Once we start getting consistent profits only then we should think of increasing the capital gradually.
Many people start trading with a big capital and lose big money which is a mistake we should avoid at any cost.

We have less than 1 week (just 5 days) to bet on November crypto prices. Do you think it makes sense this month, as we had 'extraordinary situation' with a dump?
At least FUN token has price $0.0066 and it seems it will unlikely leave range $0.005001 - $0.0075 so it seems it is (almost) sure bet. With odds 1.23 it is better than nothing.

I just went in with that range. Doubt there's gonna be anything huge (bull) after the FTX fiasco by the end of the month.

I think we are going to stay in this range for the next few months before anything major happens.
I saw the odds for BTC and ETH price betting and the odds are really low for the current price ranges.
Which means most of the people think it will stay in this range for the next few weeks at least.
But ETH odds of 4x at $1251-$1500 looks promising bet.
1663  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The sole difference is capital. on: November 18, 2022, 04:32:32 PM
When it comes to trading, capital makes the difference. For it hits me hard to know that same energy and technicality put in making about $500 is also synonymous to making a million dollars or more in trading.
If we look back to our series of successful trades most of us would have made tremendous profits running in millions if it was on a good capital start.

And I agree with myself that when it comes to trading, for good traders the difference in our profit making level is in the capital and not necessarily put on number of successful trades executed.
It boils down to say the difference is just capital.

But at the same time there's another point to be considered which is that with low capital we become more fearless when compared to a high capital.
When our capital is high and when we make investments on higher amounts we tend to fear more.
Fear eats up the profits and gets us losses. With less fear in low capital we tend to make out decent profits.
1664  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Strategies for Trading. on: November 18, 2022, 04:25:48 PM
Hello guys. What are the possible Currency pairs trading strategies that a newbie can follow up. It should be from personal observations, beliefs and practices. Thanks.

From my perspective I think trading on BTC pair is slightly less volatile than trading on stable coin pairs like USDT.
During certain occasions when the volatility is high on USDT pairs I tend to trade on BTC pairs.
1665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Price Drop - How are Bitcoin Long-Term Holders Responding? on: November 18, 2022, 04:18:32 PM
Despite a rise in volatility and massive losses for BTC the long-term holders are positive. It is observed during recent sell-offs and downturns, those who hold for a long time generally remain optimistic and are patiently waiting for the price to rise again. On-chain fundamentals are strong and with the halving set to come in the near future the supply of bitcoin will be restricted and will create further upward price pressure.

What are your thoughts on this? What could be the rise of price by end of 2022?

True bitcoin holders wait eagerly for such moments because this is the time when they can buy more coins at cheaper price.
They know sooner or later the prices will rise again bitcoin will touch another ATH. The profits will increase massively if they buy at such dips and sell later.
So I am in the same boat. Although I don't own much sats but I am trying to implement the same strategy and trying to accumulate as much as I can in this dump.

Loaded fine on my end. Try CTRL+F5?
I've never encountered infinite loading captcha, but a similar error which instantly displays the captcha verification has failed (ERROR). By updating the page or quitting and clicking the link again it's possible to fix the issue. Have you tried that?

Otherwise, it could be a temporary issue with the captcha service provider, right?

I tried hard refresh (ctrl + F5) as well as clicking on the link again.
Matter of fact I tried on a different device as well. As in my mobile as well as my laptop.
Its weird since the issue is only for me. Tried different captchas on different sites and all are working fine except for the WoF.

Strange indeed... have you tried it on mobile data as well?

Yes I did try on mobile data too.

Faced a weird issue today which I have never encountered before, atleast with freebitco.in.
I got the free WoF spin in my email and when I clicked the captcha it just kept on loading.
It nevere loaded the captcha at all. Has anyone else faced this today ?

1668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important are exchanges? on: November 17, 2022, 04:58:27 PM
The existence of exchange is to facilitate the transaction process fast, though it is not fast as p2p. Also some of the exchange platforms pay higher than p2p and that is one of the major reason people are using exchange platforms for their transactions. Another reason why people keep their coins in exchange platforms is because of the transaction fees. That instead of keeping the coins in a wallet and send to someone whenever you want to sell it and the charging fee in the transaction process whenever you send makes people to store their coins in the exchange platforms because some exchange platforms don't charge fees.

Worrying about commissions and losing everything... Yes, it is how things are, but FTX story of the last days hints again that holding assets in exchanges accounts is a really bad idea. It could be good for making deal but main assets better to hold on non custodial cold wallet. We all know that FTX is not the first and definitely not the last example of bankrupt exchange.

Lol  Grin That is the first time I am hearing someone say that people keep money on exchanges just so that they can save transaction fees when they send money to someone.
I mean few people I know do use binance because it allows free transfers between binance users but never have I ever heard them keeping all their money on exchanges.
They keep bare minimum to trade and make essential transactions.
1669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want sell my house for bitcoin on: November 17, 2022, 04:53:07 PM
Do you think it's good that I sold the house then I buy bitcoin with all the money?
because in my own calculations, my house value didn't increase in date year by year. the value is still stagnan, it's different when compare it with bitcoin, I will got 3 house when I sold my house then buy bitcoin with that money in 2018 and sold it again on ATH november 2021.

(I have 2 house, which I want sell it is abandoned house)

You should be financially literate before making such huge decisions. You should understand demand, supply, asset value, diversification, liquidity, volatility, probabilities etc...
Your house is a physical asset which holds a good value. Although its ROI might not be as good as bitcoin but you can consider it as a safe asset.
Bitcoin is a volatile asset and it's value keeps increasing and decreasing. Although its ROI is good year on year but any point of time it can decrease in value.
We cannot compare a real estate house with bitcoin because both are different and has their own pros and cons.
So the point is if you are already holding some bitcoins then you don't need to sell your house and if you some extra houses which are abandoned other than the house you live in then you can consider selling it and investing that amount somewhere.

premium users might get more than 1 WOF every day, but free users only get 1x WOF rounds every day so it's free and it won't take time to claim it for free spins, whatever you get as long as it's free just enjoy it, there's a time when people people will get big rewards as long as they are active users of freebitcoin

Do not forget that collecting and executing a big amount of WOFs decreases your bonus, so sometimes it may make sense to balance it - have time for wagering (and increasing bonus) and then execute collected WOFs at once. Of course daily single WOF decrease bonus as well...

When did that happen ? I never knew about it actually. Can you pass the info where its mentioned about decreasing the bonus.
I generally spin my WoF spins collectively at the weekend. So have to see what difference it makes when compared to spinning WoF daily.
1671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto on the way to destruction? on: November 16, 2022, 03:06:23 PM
The cryptocurrency market has been going through a panic for several days now.
There are many wise knowledgeable members who are always advising to be careful with cryptocurrencies.  Yesterday the admin of the forum issued a red alert Here, asking those who have cryptocurrencies in online wallets to transfer them to personal decentralized wallets as soon as possible.
All these members are giving all these warnings on cryptocurrencies without understanding some signals in advance.  So what do we understand the general public?

Is the cryptocurrency market headed for destruction or can we expect something bigger to come?

Or do we have any other options other than we the common people to slow down like turtles and be patient?

I think you are getting it all wrong. A warning doesn't always has to be an upcoming threat. It can be a prevention method for the "possibility" of a threat.
In this case, the people here always advice to store crypto in non-custodial wallets and not on exchanges.
I have read the phrase "Not your keys, not your coins" so many times and I have been hearing it for so many years already.
This basically helps users prevent the possibility of a hack of their coins. Stay calm and keep holding.
1672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would the world be if Bitcoin wasn't created on: November 16, 2022, 03:02:20 PM
OP missed the most important point and that is the amount of jobs that bitcoin has provided over the years.
All of us would have missed these opportunities to make an income.
Bitcoin has enabled us to become financially independent and without it many of us would have been in the rat race.
I would say that signature campaigns on this forum have been going on in a steady rate paying in Bitcoin. But freelancing on Bitcoin would be the next "job" on Bitcoin while getting monthly salary on Bitcoin is rare.

This from your point of view might be a type of bias but still there needs to be more jobs of Bitcoin, the number is still low.

Financially you cannot be independent so easily. Your job is there because someone is employing you and you are dependent on them. How you manage your money is the important thing.

In fact, I haven't seen any other work being paid in bitcoin other than the signature campaign. So I don't think bitcoin provide a huge number of jobs for society and once you have paid work it cannot be called financial freedom, participating in the signature campaign, we also depend on the project owners as well as the managers.
But if investing in bitcoin to achieve financial independence, I believe it and I have seen many people change their lives by investing in bitcoin, so to speak, they are financially free.

The number might not be huge but it surely is considerable. When I say bitcoin has provided jobs I don't specifically mean signature campaigns.
There are many other things such as freelancing jobs and accept payment in bitcoin, development jobs in other projects that pay in bitcoin as well as native tokens, providing services and accepting bitcoin, being paid in bitcoin by the bitcoin core dev group etc...
Basically, all those things which bitcoin has helped us in earning money contributes to one step closer to our financial freedom.
1673  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: November 13, 2022, 07:35:38 AM
Video verification is not the normal standard kyc procedures, it is a kind of kyc requirement they implement on special occasions, when they feel the need to, so don't expect to ever be asked to submit a video of your self if you didn't win a significant amount of money from the casino.
I've never heard about video verification for KYC procedures, the KYC requirements are for high withdrawals but have to prove myself in more detail for the eligibility to receive high pay from big wins, although it's not something difficult but video verification is better than selfie photo verification but no all agree for video verification, if for high withdrawal then I think chances are many users will comply with that requirement.

I have heard of sites implementing a video verification process but never encountered one on the sites I regularly use.
I think it's easier and convenient to implement an OTP in a selfie verification process.
There are sites which "need" such kind of harder verification process to secure their funds and there are some sites which use this verification to their advantage so that they can scam users.
BC.GAME is a trusted and reputed casino and has a large userbase which is why they need such verification methods.

When you think about it in long term, do not think about it just 3 years, think about it in 30 years, does that still look small to you? In crypto I always think about it in 30 year terms, for all of my investments and if it doesn't look good after 30 years in my head, then I stop using it completely.
30 years in the future? That doesn't make a lot of sense to me, i can't even tell if a Dollar Or EUR exist in 30 years. And Bitcoin is under 14 years old, so there's no way to see how any crypto is doing even in 10 years. It could be totally whole new game with new kind of "crypto".

You're right, it doesn't really make sense to use time frames of 30 years or more. I don't look at my crypto investments for such a long period. Any investments (like everything else in our lives), can go up or down, same with trading and investing in cryptocurrency, but I don't want to be holding coins for years and years. The more volatile your investment is, the shorter the period of time you are going to want to invest. When I think about long term, I consider other investments, like real estate or gold.

I also don't think of crypto as a thirty year time frame as I know and we all know that Bitcoin all time high lately have happened every 4 times since 2013 and happened in 2013,2017 and the last one happened last year in 2021.This data makes me think that we should expect the next bull run in 2025 and also this emphasizes my thinking that the maximum I see the crypto investments is 5 years as an absolute maximum.

Unfortunately 2025 is far away and we have to be very patient until then and be immune to such happenings as the FTX while keeping a positive attitude until 2025.

@swogerino theres no way that Freebitco will suffer the same fate as FTX, as both have a different model and Freebitco has made massive improvements over the years and in my personal opinion theyll continue progressing upwards in the long term too. Furthermore they have been transparent with us and have valued this community opinions a lot, hence I dont think that we should doubt their ability to survive and rather back them to reach even greater heights.

Ofcourse it won't. Freebitco.in has been here since the early days of bitcoin has gained massive trust from the community.
Besides that, not everyone holds a huge amount of money on freebitco.in. Many of them just have an amount for gambling here.
So it's not much of a risk in that perspective. Also, freebitco.in keeps a lot of transparency as @Juggy777  have mentioned.
Freebitco.in is here to stay for long.
1675  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quit gambling to focus more on my work on: November 13, 2022, 06:49:08 AM
. If i work hard. 1 year i can build a business that make 1.5-2k every day on autopilot. Then come to a casino like a real king make 2k blackjack bets and 10k roullete without giving a shit kf i lose or not.

Now i make only 400 a day which is ok cause i can stay on nice hotels in latin amerrica and fuck  hookers every day everyday, play in casinos and atill save a lot of money.

But i want more money more power and i need to direct my energy on my work and being productive.

People like drake don't have 1million to put on sportbook on stake from being good gamblers. They have business .

All the people in vegas who play poker hands with 50k buy in. Probanly havr some business unless they sold their house and look double / triple their money fast.

I want to be part of these guys who regularly sit on these tables and for this i need to work and have a lot of power form my work.

If you want to earn more just so that you can gamble more then your priorities are wrong.
Your priorities and your goals must be set to increase your income so that you can save more.
Once you save more put that money into something that can get you a passive income.
Then you can use this passive income to gamble more. This way you can save more as well as gamble more.
1676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon Casino - fully decentralized - PLEASE FEEDBACK on: November 12, 2022, 02:09:10 PM
Let me just put some comments,

I try to play for fun in the roulette, make it to 99 FUN.

1. The audio or sounds though when the roulette is spinning is kinda annoying to me hehehe.
2. Repeat beat button not there?  Or I'm just missing it out?

I hate the fact that I tried the website with my audio on reading your post. The sound of spinning the wheel is really freaking annoying.
Also, the sound that person makes when we lose the bet is more annoying. I hate it.
I hope OP is not going to use these sounds in the real website.
1677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MATIC LEADING THE ALTCOINS MARKET on: November 12, 2022, 02:00:51 PM
For some reason MATIC has been performing really well in the recent dump due to FTX collapse.
Right before this collapse MATIC was gaining in price and gave decent returns.
Right now MATIC is at $0.94 which is a good price to get in since before the dump it was around $1.23
Considering the prices will recover soon it would generate good returns in the short term.
1678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your lost from FTX collapse on: November 12, 2022, 01:52:58 PM
Due to huge crypto exchange FTX brankcupcy . what is your lost amount?

my one is 120$ and i got the a new message that "Not your keys , Not your crypto"

I didn't lose anything since I did not keep any of my coins on FTX but the loss occurred since there was a big dump because of FTX collapse.
Obviously we couldn't have predicted this dump but if we would have stayed up to date with the news revolving FTX and the dump made by CZ then we could have sold our coins at better prices.
We could have bought them back now at cheaper prices but yeah we still have the option to hold since we know the market would recover.
1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance poised to become a monopoly? on: November 12, 2022, 01:42:36 PM
CZ did a good thing by backing out from the deal otherwise all his investment in order to save FTX would have gone down the drain.
Currently, FTX has officially announced of going bankrupt and I wonder what's gonna happen next.
Things doesn't get settled here because FTX was the second largest crypto exchange and I think we will get to see some traction in the next few days/weeks.
Considering what has been revealed, yes. It would have been a worst move ever to acquire something that's now been under the close eye of regulators and law enforcement and Sam is probably being sued for numerous reasons. This happened so fast my head is still spinning. It would need a miracle for FTT to survive from this as FTX didn't. Maybe at some day some people could make a group lawsuit that would be for FTT token holders. I am not sure how that would play out.

FTX has already announced a bankruptcy officially and SBF has run away to Argentina.
If CZ would have made this deal it would have only made losses but fortunately that didn't happen.
Also, there are rumors that SBF had designed a backdoor into FTX which enabled him to transfer funds without alerting anyone.
If this is true then SBF is in very deep trouble. God knows whats gonna happen next.
1680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celsius, Terra, FTX Crash All Are Prove That Bitcoin Is The Only Trusted Crypto on: November 11, 2022, 04:20:29 PM
That is a really good example actually to make people understand the importance of

1. Holding bitcoin instead of altcoins
2. Holding coins in a non-custodial wallet.

I am more concerned about all those people who had their life savings on FTX.
All of it vanished and they could do nothing about it. It must be so hard for them.  Sad
It's a tragic event sadly.
