1661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FA Cup: Wolves VS Manchester United on: January 04, 2020, 07:24:08 PM
I've been watching the game since the beginning of the second half. It's hard to say things are going very well. It could end 0-0 as it started.

76" Wolves scored but it didn't count. Because Doherty touched to ball with his hand.

Its over. Man Utd is living in nightmare Smiley
It won't be easy for them, actually I think Soljskjaer won't be happy with this draw.
1662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 04, 2020, 07:22:20 PM
Juventus seems has already refused a 40€ offer from Dortmund from Demiral
They already said he is not on market but we already know everyone can be sold for a good offer.

I think they will start talking with a 60m € offer. They don't need to sell so the price should be high.

The one defender on the market is Rugani.

Moreover they've signed a contract with Kulusevski with huge transfer fee. Demiral is a good player and Juve wants to keep in squad. We will see if it is wise choice.
1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of key areas to look out for in 2020 on: January 04, 2020, 07:20:40 PM
Here are lists of some key concepts and projects that i think will definitely advance significantly more this year.

1. Libra/Calibra
2. Bitcoin Halving
3. Gaming Development on Blockchain
4. Defi Growth
5. Central Bank Currencies
6. Infrastructure and Web 3.0

I'm glad you didn't add anything about Telegram to your list. Everybody loves to talk about GRAM token, which they don't know anything about.

I think the two most important events this year are the developments in Bitcoin halving and DeFi. Bitcoin halving is often discussed. But DeFi still hasn't come up enough. DeFi can shape the economy of the future.
1664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Cryptocurrency - Mobile Minning on: January 04, 2020, 07:17:22 PM
Any mining process with Android devices doesn't make much sense to me. Android devices are already slowing down after carrying a certain load. The performance of Android devices may decrease after mining. At the same time it is obvious that the phones will shorten the battery time. Finally, it is also discussed how reliable it is.
1665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Which Transfer is the Best of Mid-Season? on: January 04, 2020, 06:58:13 PM
The transfer season starts between all European leagues. All teams have started negotiating to strengthen their squad. Who do you think will be the best of this transfer period?

I choose Haaland (Salzburg> Dortmund). Do you think we can see a more sensational transfer?

1668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will YouTube launch it's own cryptocurrency. on: January 04, 2020, 06:38:04 PM
Youtube is a platform connected to Google. So if there was such an initiative, do so. In fact, the fact that Google has its own blockchain network would be called vGoogle. Google has not yet announced such a thing, it would be very convenient to create a crypto currency that will be the payment method on all platforms including Youtube.
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My New Year Resolution For Bitcointalk on: January 04, 2020, 06:11:03 PM
New year is already few days away and I want to share one or two new year wishes about this forum on here, this is how I hope 🙏 this forum will be by next year, this is actually about BM and Moderators, I belief they can both help a lot.

1. Moderators, theymos and co should actually look into new way or strategy to help crypto investors, what I mean is getting rid of scam projects, I don't know how but I think it's time moderators start taking action, we need new investors in crypto space and scammers are everywhere taking advantage of them.  Maybe there can be some kind of new screening for new projects on this forum? Or some kind of PASS?

2. Bounty managers have a big role to play in crypto world, i believe if every bounty managers can be more serious about the projects they introduce spammers will reduce, few bounty managers still don't know how important Proof of Authentication is, without it scammers can just use others btt accounts without them knowing, to claim tokens, we need more good bounty managers in this space and not keep relying on few promising BM's like bubbalex, Arteezy, ltcbtcledger etc

yes, I totally agree with your opinion about the development of the bitcointalk forum in the future so that there are no more projects that have the potential for scams circulating in the bitcointalk forum. and the bounty manager must choose a project that has no potential for future scams. so the altcoin forum can no longer be entered by fraudsters

Gentlemen, the job of forum managers is not to advise us on investment. Their job is to manage the forum. I think you mixed things up. Even if we criticize it from time to time, I think the forum administrators do the best by not attempting to engage in such issues.

The subject of Bounty is completely different. Bounty is a marketing activity. And this forum hosts the best customers. Therefore, projects need to find support at all times to work here. However, investment is always the decision of the investor. Therefore, the bounties executed here are not binding for anyone. Before investing, everyone should do their own research.
1670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death of ICOs on: January 04, 2020, 06:07:58 PM
ICO terminations in 2019 were unimaginably inadequate contrasted with 2018 August and October both had none, while January 2018 had 160 projects. All things considered, 2019 projects raised additionally funding on average $6.8 million contrasted with 2018 $132,000, still ICOs are losing popularity because of

1. Concerns with funded projects
2. Regulatory hurdles with selling the tokens
3. Crypto bear market

Did you ever looked any upcoming ICO's?

According to icorating there are over 1100 ICO : https://icorating.com/ico/upcoming/
According to icomarks there are over 1000 ICO: https://icomarks.com/icos?status=upcoming&whitelist=&kyc=&bounty=&mvp=&email_confirmed=

There are more than 1000 upcoming ICOs. Don't you think they didn't realize the ICOs were dead? It doesn't matter whether ICO or IEO, the good project will always collect money. ICO amount is getting less recently because bear market affect is getting increase. If any bull season come again we will see a lot of ICO's also.
1671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 - The year of true DEX adoption? on: January 03, 2020, 09:09:44 PM

a DEX would just be used if there will be a volume to it. there are plenty of these DEX starting from bitshares, WAVES paltform, etherdelta, blockdxn and to the latest we have today but all these would just be useless if we still can't find ways to pile a volume for DEX. we are all here in the forum spreading more information that its best to use dex if concern of safer funds but there are still more traders on CEX.

There are too many projects claiming to be DEX. Some of these are what you say ... But if there was already a really big DEX, the volume would have gathered somewhere.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 03, 2020, 09:08:11 PM
Going to be interesting to see what squad Klopp puts out for the FA Cup tie with Everton... I know he's probably more concerned about PL and UCL... but, it's Everton! Tongue If it had been any other team he'd probably field the youngsters again like they did with Villa. Wink

Kloop is a very smart man. Every team would want to have a manager like him. In particular, there are many examples of the best performances of many players with him. He is a good coach.
He also knows how to handle players who are not performing well. I recently read Kloop's interview and he said that it wasn't important that Firminho's form was low. He was talking about how good he is and how he can contribute soon. This is a psychologically important issue.
He is mentally one of best Coach right now as he is doing good for his players psychologically need coaches like him for best results.

Like Mourinho once was... Their style has always been different, but Mourinho is far from the old form.
1673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram refuses SEC's demands - Deposition this month on: January 03, 2020, 09:06:50 PM
Frankly, I'm sick of these Telegram rumors. Every day we read the news about Telegram. But there has been nothing tangible for months. It is claimed that it has continuously raised 1.7 billion dollars. Who did they get this money from? Where are those who made these investments? They've been waiting for Telegram to show up for months? Quietly?

I'm not sure if I made a million dollar investment I would have waited silently for 2 years! And while all this was happening, there was no official statement from Telegram! Don't you think that's a bit suspicious?

I don't think it is suspicious! Private investment works like that. Who knows about the investors of Bitfinex's of LEO coin? All those Billion dollars raised by private investors, partners. Telegram is one of the world-leading messaging apps, so raising 2 billion dollars is not a big deal for them. Maybe they have a private group or mail where all the investors are talking secretly with the Telegram authority. I hope Telegram will overcome all these obstacles and the Gram/TON coin will be listed on exchange!

Yes we don't know who the Bitfinex's LEO's investors are. But we know its release date, conditions and rules. They transparently share with us.
Why didn't the Telegram do the same? Why are still keeping their silence? Why they didn't make any announcement?

We all accept that Telegram is great messaging apps. They have a lot of features and their competitors doesn't have many of them. But it don't proof anything to us.
They may announce soon about a token or coin. But they may not. I suggest be careful. Telegram has not any announcement yet, but some of shitty exchanges are trying to sell GRAM tokens. (which there is no official release or TGE)

1675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 03, 2020, 08:56:02 PM
Finally La Liga returns after winter break. Today we have 2 games - Valladolid - Leganes which doesn't looks most attractive to watch. While Sevilla - Athletic should be very interesting game. Sevilla are favorites, because they are playing at home, but I wouldn't be certain about their win.
Tomorrow there is Barcelona derby. Espanyol is awful so far, but now they have new manager Abelardo, it might have some effect.

I hate this mid season breaks. I think the fixture shouldn't be left empty for so long. Big tournaments can be held for young players. This can offers to the fans a different experience.
1676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to protect your crypto against a natural disaster? on: January 03, 2020, 08:51:32 PM
you can make your own crypto steel!
I made my own for less than €20.

I bought some offcut stainless steel 6mm thick enough to make one
for myself and one for my brother. > https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6mm-Thick-Stainless-Steel-Plate-off-Cut-Grade-316-185mm-X-120mm-/254465075612?nav=SEARCH

Tools used:
an angle grinder to cut the steel in half (just because i was making 2)
a ruler and metal scribe to create 24 spaces
a drill and bit to make 2 holes to screw it to a secret location
a letter punch set (with numbers) > https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/9-27-36pc-Numbers-Alphabet-Letter-Punch-Set-Stamp-Metal-Die-Tool-Kit-UK-Fast-PP-/223428526856?nav=SEARCH
and a hammer

Time used:
Approximately 1 hour

Really? You should record a video for us. And we may try after that video. Can you?

1678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 - The year of true DEX adoption? on: January 03, 2020, 08:48:09 PM
If you've been following the latest crypto news, you'll have noticed all the exchange hacks as of lately, especially in Q4 2019, we've seen some pretty brutal hacks.

It made me wonder, if 2020 truly is the YEAR of DEX's? Most decentralized exchanges today, is hardly used, but they are constantly being worked on, and made easier for the average guy to use.

Blocknet caught my attention lately, and their website: https://blockdx.com/ made me believe for the first time in a long time, that it's the future.

Anyone else feeling the same? Sure a DEX doesn't have FIAT on/off ramps, but you don't really need it, when you can trade your coins for stable coins, and use them all over the world basically.

Which DEX's do you guys recommend me to look into, and why? Not interested in: Binance, Waves, IDEX, Bisq, etc.. They aren't truly decentralized sadly, though I'm sure they are working to make them 100% decentralized.

Happy new year to everyone! Smiley

We don't have complete decentralized multi-coin exchange yet. Bisq is good one but it is not enough. We need a more comprehensive exchange. DEXs should be both reliable and at least as good as CEXs. And today, unfortunately, most of the exchanges named DEX are far from being DEX. Binance DEX is one of the best examples of this.
1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to protect your crypto against a natural disaster? on: January 03, 2020, 08:41:20 PM
I don't think we need to buy expensive crypto steel. The world is very small nowadays, we can get the earthquake or cyclone's news at least about 3-4 days ago! Which is enough to take action to keep safe your assets. You can move your coins to exchange for a while, you can send a message your phrase code to your friends separately or you can send 24 mail with 24 different seed codes to your random friend's mail or write your seed on steel. And there are many ways to keep it safe. No need to buy a Crypto steel.

Which earthquake would you know 3-4 days in advance? This would be a force beyond nature. I don't think you need these steel wallets. But we're thinking the same thing for different reasons.
I think just buy a hardware wallets and back up its seed key and if you can, you may want to memorize that keys.
1680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to view .bit sites on mobile devices? on: January 03, 2020, 08:37:49 PM
Namecoin, being quite an old cryptocurrency, provides the ability to register domain names within the Blockchain. This provides a certain level of censorship-resistance to websites, as governments cannot censor access to the domain itself. Even Ethereum has its own domain name system called "Ethereum Naming Service" (ENS). On the PC, it's quite easy to access .bit and .eth sites by installing an extension for your browser. But on mobile devices like smartphones and tablets, that's another story.

I've been trying to connect to .bit sites within my Android smartphone without any luck so far. I was wondering if there was a workaround for this, since I cannot install browser extensions that would allow me to access .bit sites with ease. Maybe it's possible to change DNS servers to Namecoin nodes? Will that work?

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

Have you ever tried using VPN? It may solve your problem? Due to a number of restrictions on the many websites I can access from a PC in my country of residence, I only need to use VPN when I visiting from mobile.
