1681  Economy / Services / Re: Paying 5 dollar for buying Fiverr Gig on: March 15, 2017, 05:18:46 PM
I have reached an agreement with OP.
Full payment in BTC has been received and the gig has been purchased by me on OP's fiverr account.
Waiting for OP to confirm.
1682  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Give Ideas of Online Business Startup on: March 15, 2017, 05:17:23 PM
What ideas are you looking for? You already mentioned a few very profitable ones in your post. Dripshipping and affiliate marketing have been increasingly popular over the last few years.
The tricky part about making them successful and profitable is finding the right product and then promoting your site.
If you want to pursue that then I suggest looking at google trends and perhaps even paying for a product trend search subscription.
People can suggest things but you will be the one responsible for making it profitable.
1683  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: For this project I need someone from Healthcare on: March 15, 2017, 02:30:26 PM
I have some experience working with a think tank and conducting similar research to the question you posed above.
If you send me a list of questions I'd be happy to take a look at it for you amd either answer it myself or forward to someone who is in a better position than I in order to answer it.
Having been said, my research was based on the NHS system in the U.K. whose practice is very different to existing healthcare services in the US.
1684  Economy / Services / Re: Paying 5 dollar for buying Fiverr Gig on: March 15, 2017, 02:23:53 PM
I haven't used Fiverr in the last few months so wasn't aware that they stopped accepting BTC as a payment method. It's definitely a shame and I'd be interested to know why.
@OP, I'd be happy to do this for you if you'd like.
I'd either request full payment upfront or for an escrow that we can mutually agree on provided that you pay the fees
If you're ok with this then we can move the discussion to PM.
Let me know.

Thanks
1685  Other / Archival / Re: looking for a business partner to Online Casino on: March 14, 2017, 11:09:42 PM
Your post gives little detail to what partnership you're offering.
Are you looking to create a casino or are you looking for a learner for an existing project?
What kind of partner are you looking for?
Those are some key points that need to be adddessed.
1686  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-take.com - BTC-Take on: March 14, 2017, 11:02:46 PM
Why are you promoting this site if you aren't the owner or admin?
The site is in Russian and looks a little suspicious. That's not to mention the ponzi system it's based on. It's pretty clear to stay well away from this site.
1687  Economy / Speculation / Re: BULLS ON PARADE...but... on: March 12, 2017, 09:54:15 AM
Think about Bitcoin and the impact it has had thus far.
Satoshi alone holds a few thousand BTC which at today's value is worth a very pretty penny. I'm sure everyone with that wealth would want fewer people to know about it so as to not make themselves a target.
That could be one possibility.
As per the thread sub, it's all speculation but giving it some anonymity definitely adds to what Bitcoin is.
1688  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Life-changing project(reduces policeman, online/offline scam, thief)... on: March 12, 2017, 09:41:20 AM
To be honest, I don't think that this is necessary. Most reputable businesses will have no problem providing personal details belonging to the CEOs etc.
This information is usually readily available and can be verified manually.
The better scam attempts usually use shill addresses and personal information which makes finding the scammers a little difficult. It would be better on finding ways to verify business owners than to retroactively vilify scammers.
Just my two satoshis.
1689  Economy / Collectibles / Re: i can make coins on: March 12, 2017, 07:33:28 AM
So if someone sent a Casascius coin to copy,  that wouldn't concern you?

Are you kidding? Everyone already does steal Mike's design! Most of the coins on the market have his BTC with "cross" patter behind it and/or the obverse with some combination of binary code and hologram design worked in.

And what about the coasters, marble tokens, aluminum tokens, and paintings that steal Mike's design.

Shit, the Casascius coin is the public image of Bitcoin. Every news story about it shows a stock image of a stack of Casascius coins!

The only one that should be concerned is Mike Caldwell, if he were a money grubber he could be collecting royalties on every use. He's certainly not that guy, which is great for everyone.

So, no, I wouldn't be concerned.

You dont get it.

Im going to go out on a limb and say you dont have anything to lose if Cas coins are counterfitted.  Im with monkeynuts, the more counterfits on the market is another chance for someone who doesnt know what their doing gets burned, which is not got for anything and only encourages more of the same activety.

And the only one i see that made a direct copy of the cas coin was microsoul.  Dont know of anymore, but i could be wrong

Copying a coin is one thing, copying the hologram is a whole new chapter. I am not that concerned about counterfeit coins. So far not a single one has come close to the original coin and they are easily spotted. Mike did a good job on the hologram.

To any coinmaker; spent a few cent more on the hologram to make it impossible for others to recreate.

Even holograms aren't always safe from being copied.
Most holograms used for the physical coins seen here are manufactured in Asia and although there are some levels of discretion and confidentiality, some manufacturers will often be willing to copy existing designs if it means business for them. Although you won't always get a 1:1 copy, the holograms could come out pretty similar to the real thing.
If you manage to find the same manufacturer as the original hologram then all it takes is one greedy salesperson who could breach all confidentiality agreements...
1690  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB]2015 Kialara Labyrinth - UK Europe. on: March 12, 2017, 01:01:53 AM
Just saw this in the collectibles section.
If you're willing to have one shipped from abroad and want to play your luck then you could try nabbing one for 0.08BTC.

What's the going price these?
Jeez @ TMAN. You have way too many!
@ OP, I think I may have a couple st home. I may have sold the one with ceramic balls so would have to check. I'd consider selling it but I assume TMAN would offer a better price seeing as he seems to have a whole trove of them  Cheesy
1692  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price is the Moon landing? on: March 12, 2017, 12:55:10 AM
To the moon is just a saying. The point is that the price should keep rising without stopping. Nobody can put a price on the 'moon landing' as no matter what BTC price reaches (in USD terms) people will always want it to reach the moon. In other words, for some people the moon landing will be at $10k whereas for others it could be at $50k. It's all subjective and has no actual real set value.
1693  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Is there any money to be made in bitcoin casino affiliate review websites? on: March 12, 2017, 12:51:21 AM
Affiliate marketing can be very profitable. However, you need to convert links if you want to be successful. You need to be able to appeal to people and get them to choose the casino that you are promoting. If you are good at it then it'd definitely be profitable seeing as there are almost no costs involved.
1694  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Kialara Physical Bitcoins/HAVEN: Update on: March 09, 2017, 06:18:28 PM
I don't usually manage to get in on the game early on but this time I had the opportunity to seeing as I was browsing my inbox when your email came in.
I should be kicking myself for not buying a set when I had the chance but I promised myself to cut back on buying more collectibles.
Either way, it's another beautiful piece. It'll definitely sit nicely alongside all the other art pieces you've released.
Great work!
1695  Economy / Speculation / Re: can my bitcoin drop to nothing on: March 09, 2017, 06:13:52 PM
If BTC goes down to $0 then not only will your BTC be worth $0, but so will everybody else's.
The value of BTC that you have is subject to fluctuations.
Say 1 BTC = $1000, then if you have 0.1 BTC, your BTC value will be $100.
Should the price of BTC fall, then the value of your holdings will also fall.
So, in the example above, if BTC falls to $500/1 BTC, your 0.1 BTC savings will have fallen from being valued at $100 to $50.

Bitcoin is still relatively new and as a result its price is subject to a lot of fluctuation. You should look st it as an investment. As with all investments, only invest what you can afford to lose. That way if your investments do depreciate, the loss won't be as significant to you.
1696  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Artist Collective, Anyone? on: March 09, 2017, 10:29:13 AM
It's definitely an idea although there are similar sites that already exist.
The only issue with it being a self-serve site is how will you be able to ensure that all artworks that are published are otingonal? I assume that you'd be targeting new artists, but how'd you ensure that the paintings in question are really their work?
1697  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Anacs Grading Service Request on: March 07, 2017, 10:55:18 AM
Wow. I didn't expect this thread to blow up like this.
Thank you for all the offers. I think I've made my mind up so will be sending a PM or two shortly.
Thanks for the help. Locking the thread now.

If anyone wants to sell one of their peeled coins, send me a PM with an asking price. I may be interested in picking one up. Thanks
1699  Economy / Collectibles / Anacs Grading Service Request on: March 05, 2017, 11:26:56 PM
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone in the US would be willing to accept some coins on my behalf, ship them to ANACS and then ship them back to me (in the U.K.) once they've been graded.
I've never personally sent coins to ANACS so would prefer to use someone who has experience with them.
If you can help please send me a PM.

Thanks
1700  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Alitin Mint Adam Smith Coins compromised! on: March 05, 2017, 10:33:30 PM
This is sad to see. It puts all coin makers in a bad light and increases skepticism about physical coins.
I don't want to make any accusations. Its possible that Alitin actually kept a record of the keys and have now swiped the coins. However, it's also just as plausible to say that they didn't follow the correct protocol when assembling the coins and as a result the keys weren't erased from any devices which have since been compromised. Either way, a lot of questions will need answering.
Sorry for all those who lost their funds. I really took a liking to these coins. Shame to see another coin maker go down like this.
