1683  Other / Meta / Re: This forum will need explicit rules on the use of AI. on: December 29, 2022, 03:40:50 AM
So, in theory if someone somehow managed to farm, let's say 5 accounts up to Full member and Senior member and somehow implemented an AI for those accounts to interact around here while joined a signature campaign or a bounty, so the single person behind those accounts can get all the economical benefits, that would be acceptable as long as the quality of those posts are good enough and on-topic? Right?
That's irrelevant when forum itself allow you to use more than 1 account as long as you are good with forum rules. Why are you bringing the economical benefits here? If someone is active here for economical benefit only and that's from 1 account only, both he and owner of 5 accounts are in same category of course.

Just posting something on-topic , semi-correct and coherent doesn't necessarily mean the post isn't low value.
But it will be almost impossible to detect if the texts get a little human touch lol. I'm observing one user, pretty much sure texts are AI generated but they are not such low value either.
1684  Other / Meta / Re: AI writing messages on Bitcointalk.org on: December 28, 2022, 01:19:37 PM
I'm starting to suspect some posts are AI-written,
Same here. I have also started to suspect the same. I have been monitoring one account for the last few weeks, and within this time, the account have posted 3/4 times only which seems like AI generated to me. I don't want to publicly post that until I'm sure that he is posting AI generated text.
This will be somewhat a disaster if someone with a long list of account starts to participate in signature campaign and post AI generated garbage, I'm pretty much sure we will see the day in the coming future.
1685  Economy / Gambling / Re: Macaw.casino ⚡ Powered by the lightning network ⚡ Instant withdrawals ⚡ No KYC on: December 28, 2022, 12:55:04 PM
THIS SITE IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  SEE FOR YOURSELF IF YOU MUST BUT THEY JACKED ME FOR 8,000,000 SATOSHI
SEE THE WHOLE STORY HERE https://www.trustpilot.com/review/macaw.casino

Create a thread in scam accusation including all the proofs you have. Otherwise, your accusation has no value at all.

I did not read your story but I'm not surprised if this site turned to be scam because many people predicted it already including me. We should aware to any casino using the same script/software as this one, we are warned many times already about this, we have seen many sites (with the same script) became scam eventually. Casinos with cheap script proves that the owner do not really own decent amount of money as a gambling house.
The amount in question is pretty low I think. I don't know if someone was able to withdraw from the giveaway but they had credited a lot of people to check out the site. Maybe the accusation is true but that's only his side of story. Let's see the proof and an answer from macaw casino.
1686  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Plagiarized Whitepaper - THERMOFINANCE.COM on: December 28, 2022, 12:05:41 PM
And the manager is also looking for community managers for 11 countries
Hiring Community Manager.
They were here to make money, even without paying anything lol. They were hiring community manager by offering their token, don't know who would accept that job offer. Nice attempt lol.

I am sure that majority of other bounty hunters don't really care whether something is scam or not as long as they get their tokens. In this case they probably won't get anything and then they will come here to cry how they did "hard work" for nothing.
As usual lol. I have managed only a few bounty campaigns so far, have paid reward for campaigns already. For the other one, I can't contact with project owner for the last few weeks, don't know why suddenly he got inactive but I'm pretty much sure that he will pay the hunters. But hunters can't have the patience. Threaten me to create thread in reputation. They will participate in every campaign but they can't do a little home work even.
1687  Economy / Gambling / Re: Predict888.com - 180% Deposit Bonus🔥Upto $10,000⭐Earn 7 BTC+🔥 on: December 27, 2022, 11:30:59 AM
It seems like it's a crypto prediction based on a certain time as I can see on the site it says x minutes. Does this happen every hour or more/less? This is interesting. But one thing I'm confused. From where you get the price? Say, Binance. It's possible that Binance price will be different from other exchange. Please break down this if I'm missing some info.
Idea is cool, I haven't seen such one if I can remember correctly. You can create a better ANN thread to impress the forum user. Also, you can run a signature campaign to reach potential users. Let me know if you have plan, I can help too.
1688  Economy / Reputation / Re: 5000 good posts reported - we can all do it too! on: December 27, 2022, 11:07:18 AM
It depends on what you report: obvious spam gets deleted quickly, but posts that are largely off-topic in a Meta thread often don't get deleted.
I try to ignore reporting post from meta and reputation, I think most of my unhandled/bad reports are from these two boards, maybe I was too stupid to identify the post quality. But whenever I have reported spam post of off topic from local thread, it was deleted and I think I got 100% accuracy there only (not sure if mod deleted or thread creator deleted though) lol.
1689  Other / Meta / Re: Careless copying of forum links redirects you to Binance on: December 27, 2022, 10:59:48 AM
Should it be reported? Its owner clearly takes advantage of people's accidently copying incomplete links....
I don't think it's something you should report. There are a lot of people taking such advantages. People use this trick for popular casino too. Beside, in google ads, most of the first page result with ads are actually a redirect to the referral link.
If the redirected site was malicious, that was something you could be concerned. Anyway, I doubt the guy is getting a lot of sign up from the referrals by applying this trick lol.

There's nothing the forum can do about it (other than have a lawyer threaten the domain owner with legal action, as large corporations often do).
There's a chance that a few people who got tricked by this, may think bitcointalk is redirected to binance. can't imagine theymos doing this ever lol.
1690  Economy / Reputation / Re: 5000 good posts reported - we can all do it too! on: December 27, 2022, 09:15:36 AM
Mbitr, 100% accuracy, is simply amazing. I also report very often, but sometimes, unfortunately, the moderators do not agree with me.
It's pretty hard to get 100% accuracy. I have only 95% accuracy though it was way below back in the day if I can remember correctly. But I'm improving this day by day.
I don't know why mods don't agree with my reports a lot of times, and that happens mostly in the global board. I have reported a few post which either repetitive or off topic but sadly mod didn't take action.
1691  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Should I copy my electrum wallets to USB for extra backups? on: December 27, 2022, 03:52:54 AM
Coincidentally, I also use 2 USBs to store my private key and seed phrase. I always keep both very carefully, and it seems that only I know where it is, I am not afraid of losing it but afraid of USB problems. They are also technological products, and all have a lifespan, although they are hard to break, but I still want to be on the lookout. But to be extra careful, I also write them down on paper, just in case the worst happens.
If I'm correct, in most of the cases where USB is damaged/broken or whatever you say, can be fixed by data recovery services unless memory chips aren't damaged. But it's a good idea to keep the seed phrase written on the paper and it's even better if you buy a stainless steel metal box that is fire-resistant and unlikely to get damaged in a normal fire. use that metal box as a storage for keeping your seeds. There are a few metal box specially designed for writing down the seeed phrase. they are even better.
1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 27, 2022, 03:28:09 AM
I hope arsenal will be losing a few times against another team started in january. I hope that city will be winning again. There's no reason for haaland to not win the trophy for this season.
This EPL season is something else. Man City with a lot of great players is struggling while other EPL performers in the last few years are far away from the title. Arsenal making the top isn't much surprising to me, there are a lot of matches left and anything can happen but the change of New Castle owner and a few signings bring them 2nd now in the table though they played 2 more matches than Man City.
There are a lot of matches left. Man City needs to win consecutively if they want to win the title. They have already lost 3 points against Brentford in their home ground, by breaking a 20 games unbeaten at home.
1693  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk censorship discussion thread. on: December 27, 2022, 03:03:31 AM
I haven't seen any censorship in both of the threads or in any other threads. I had a lot of posts deleted and I got why they were deleted. Due to spam maybe. Both the mentioned thread has nothing to do with censorship. They were deleted because of not follow the forum rules.

I see you woke up after a long time and suddenly started asking so many questions (in new topics) as if you were not existed in the forum. What happened in between?
Maybe a coincidence! I have seen two people crying here talking about censorship and they both have the same agenda. They were actually promoting Pandora Cash in the form of LibertyTown. I wouldn't be surprised if OP is a part of them but seems a coincidence to me lol.
1694  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SportsBet.io, Stake.com, Roobet.com and others don't pay me $158,000 due to me on: December 26, 2022, 05:01:57 PM
I barely visit this board because of the shit you mentioned. These are the issues every time I see pop up on the first page of this board which makes the board less useful. I haven't seen an interesting scam accusation for a long time (that's good though lol). There's no other casino left that didn't receive an accusation here.

What gets me even more than this though, is when respected and veteran users of this forum seem to fall for it every time and "demanding" the bookie/casino to reveal their entire strategy of how they actually catch these guys. Whether nefarious or just stupid is beyond me.
You are right in terms of the majority of the accusations here but it's also true that some casinos use this strategy as a weapon to confiscate users' money. You will never know who is speaking the truth unless strong proof is shared. If people don't demand strong proof, don't you think the weapon will be more strong eventually?
1695  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PR / Marketing for dApps, Web3 project. Need help on: December 26, 2022, 04:01:21 PM
There's no way to make quick money here through the services you mentioned above. You can offer your services in service board with your experience and portfolio. Make sure to add all the projects you have worked with. Then bump the thread every 24 hours. You may get some work but let me assure you that it's pretty hard to get one.
Not meant to be intimidating, generally users of this forum prefer to do business with reputable accounts (I didn't see this critera on your account)..
No need if OP looks for a bounty management job with low payment lol.

1697  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How do I become a Campaign Manager? on: December 25, 2022, 02:04:00 PM
To be honest there's no quality need to become a campaign manager
No quality? I don't know what you are talking about. If that's what was true, why Hhampuz is managing the most bitcoin paid signature campaigns while others are getting a hard time getting a single one? Hhampuz is currently managing ~10 signature campaigns, while Royse, if I'm correct, is managing 3 campaigns now. What about others? It's a lot of things you must know before being a quality campaign manager which will eventually get you more campaigns. It's not that easy bro. You can see a lot of campaign managers out there. How many of them get a quality project on hand to manage? Very few of them. Others are managing poor/scam bounty campaigns.
I wouldn't discourage OP but remember that you need a lot of reputation to be a successful campaign manager here. Alternatively, build connections with more people here.

Nowadays, forum rank isn't so important anymore. I mean just look at the bounty section; plenty of newbies running bounty campaigns.
True indeed but guess what, some of them even don't know how to maintain the spreadsheet properly. Also, it becomes easy to get a project when they charge a very small amount. I have seen a campaign manager getting paid $50/week. Some scam/shit project look for cheap services and that's how newbie gets the project because they charge according to their skill and rank. I'm sure no high-rank member would ever consider managing a bounty campaign for $100-$150/week even.
1698  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: big project development, looking for investor/advertisers on: December 25, 2022, 01:50:02 PM
You better write a one-pager with a short idea about what's the project, how will it work, and why you think it's going to be a big project. If some investors find the idea is solid and there's a chance of flourishing the project in the future, they may decide to invest. It's not something they will reach you for just because you said it's going tom be a huge project. This is not how people look for investors of course. Bring the details to the table, I'm sure, you with an interesting ideas, will be able to reach the right guy. Otherwise, you will not be able to attract a single investor I think.

1700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't know what to say, but earn BTC while you learn. on: December 25, 2022, 04:11:40 AM
Do you know what you have asked to be done?
How many words will be there in the seed phrase? I assume it's 12 word seed phrase. There are 228 words in the above image you shared. If we take 12 words from the 228 words, there will be 30,689,926,618,143,230,000 combinations. I don't know how much time would it take for a high configuration PC to find all these combination as I'm not expert but I can imagine, it's going to take ages. I don't think you are going to get a contestant unless I'm missing some info.
