France is no doubt will be very promising for the next world cup since Mbappe is really carrying France at the final, France just need a good midfielder who can support to give short and long pass for Mbappe.
You underate Eduardo Camavinga and  Aurélien Tchouaménik, even Coman etc. the french team is blessed with talents, you notice that even with all the injuries that some of their former key player had, it did not still affect their campaign and they were able to make it to the finals. France is a team that is okay and a team to watch out for just like England and Brazil.

For me, Croatia just like Belgium will just be another regular team in the next world cup.

Having said that, if it is Erik Ten Hag that has made the decision to sign Griezmann, then it is what it is, he is a professional manager who knows better than i do, but i don't think this move would/should affect their purusit of Gakpo who is a player for the long term, they can definitely get the two of them, with Griezmann obviously being for the short term.
Greizemann may have passed his prime, and also have had a bad performance in his previous club but he's still a fine player to have in Manchester United. Even though he did not score in the world cup he was an integral part of the French team and had a lot of goal involvement to the extent that he even was man of the match in the France game with Morocco. He is now playing more like a creative player and not just a striker. Manchester United have to make plans incase a bigger club come wooing Rashford.
1683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very thankful for what bitcoin has done for me. on: December 20, 2022, 05:53:31 AM
Bitcoin has brought so much more meaning into my life.
Many members in this Forum all have a positive testimony about bitcoins and how it changed or affected their life in some sort of way.

Personally my own story about bitcoin and how it has affected my life is that it changed my thinking. Before bitcoins I had very strong disbelief with anything that had to do with digital money because I have been scammed a couple of times involving myself in pyramid schemes. Understanding bitcoin redirected my thinking that I got scammed because I wanted to get rich quickly, but bitcoin is not a get-rich quick scheme. Using bitcoins has made me seen the beauty of having an investment and watching/managing it to grow. It has taught me patience.

If they will try and get one goal before 80 minutes this game will change and look like finals. They are not putting Mbappe in football
Mbappe now has scored two, Remarkable! in a brink of less than 10 minutes the game has turned and become equal. Argentina looking unstable and France more alive now. Any team that scores now has won the game because the game is tense and very fragile for both teams. Mbappe second strike to get the goal was wonderful. Eight minutes has been given for extra stoppage time, anything can happen in this time.
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 18, 2022, 09:05:18 AM
But we continue to try to convince Amrabat that Liverpool is the right choice ...
I wonder why Arsenal are not fighting to sign him too considering how prone to injury Partey is and how we cannot rely on Sambi to do the job. Amrabat is about the right age for the team, Just 26years of age, he can reduce the game time for Partey who is 29years of, reducing his game time will also reduce his frequency of getting injured.  I think Arteta and Edu need to get to the race too and consider him as they look to sign a winger and a center forward.
1687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 18, 2022, 08:44:00 AM
In your opinion, will Arsenal be able to maintain their winning pace?
It is very possible that we continue or winning from although our chances are now a bit reduced with Jesus out due to injuries as you already know. But why I am still being positive is because Some of our other key players like Saka, Martinelli, Xhaka, Partey, Odegaard, Ben White, Saliba etc are still looking fit to continue from where they stopped before the world cup. With some good additions to our team in January, our chances will increase if we will this league the players just need to hold things together.
1688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: African teams at Qatar. on: December 18, 2022, 08:35:49 AM
When you look at both sqaud, you can find more experience and quality players in the Croatia team than that of the Morocco (they even made the finals in 2018) so it's understandable why they won but still Morocco were the better team considering how defensive they have been excellent this tournament. I didn't expect them to be conceding goals as they did in the last two games. Nevertheless congratulations to them, they made Africa proud, next tournament we go again.
It seems like after the French team found a way to score them, Croatia copied their pattern. Morocco would have done better if they had one striker in front who is s good as their defensive Midfielder Amrabat and their set of defenders. Low goal scoring ability is part of what has been against Morocco both in the semi finals and in this game. If they have a good goal scorer, they would have even beat France because in that game too, they had some very good opportunities.

The coach of the Moroccan side don't need to step down or retire now from the work he has started, with some proper country scouting and new additions of very good talents to the National team, this National team can do better in another competition.

I thank them for still putting Africa up for discussion even up till the semi finals of the World cup.
1689  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: December 18, 2022, 05:28:22 AM
I was watching Kakaki AIT yesterday morning and Economy  experts were saying some the reasons why the e-naira (cashless policy) is not working and how to achieve the purpose of the cashless policy agenda. According to she, federal government should provide an awareness campaign for the e-naira. She again, because of of no awareness given to the youth that is why they are using cryptocurrency more than the e-naira.
IMO, it is not because of awareness that the e-naira is not popular, people know about the e-naira and know also that the benefits do not outweigh that of cryptocurrency. It is still not the number one choice for people when the two options are presented. If the government is to convince the youth to begin and adopt to usage of the e-naira, it must be able to outline the benefits that it has without comparing it to cryptocurrency. Making a comparison to know the better between cryptocurrency and the e-naira will be a lost battle for CBDC's for the well informed youths.
1690  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just can't get my eyes off my wallet. on: December 18, 2022, 05:04:17 AM
I am a new Bitcoin holder because I recently decided to terminate a bank standing order that transfers some of my extra earnings to a special account. I wanted to save this money for future use. But I recently decided to stop these savings and use the money to buy Bitcoin no matter how small every month. And the money is kept in a decentralized wallet.
It's a profitable and good decision that you have made, to start DCA-ing to get more bitcoins, in a couple of months if you remain consistent, you will be able to achieve a lot.

But I have one problem which is I keep checking the price of Bitcoin every time I have the slightest opportunity. I just can't take my eyes off my wallet. I can check my wallet up to ten times and above in a day. My mind is telling me that it is not normal since I want to be a long-time investor. I also observe that a drop in price makes me scared, while a rise gives me the opposite feeling.
It is normal for a new bitcoin hodler to keep checking their bitcoins in their wallets, it is part of the excitement buying bitcoins for the first time and seeing it in your wallet.  What will not be normal however is if after you have become conversant with the bitcoin environment for a long time, you are still addicted to constantly checking your wallet to see your balance.

Always wanting to check your balance is the fastest way to keep an unsettled mind towards your investment in cryptocurrency, you should try to learn to slowly limit checking your balance everytime so it doesn't begin to affect the decision you have made to hodl bitcoin for a long time.
1691  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC awareness on: December 17, 2022, 08:34:44 PM
so i was directed here for more exposure by a friend and am hoping am going get everything right here about this massive awareness in my area about bitcoin.
Welcome to this forum, you will definitely discover the forum to be very good for you depending on how serious you take it.  If you are looking for where to have knowledge and feel togetherness with people of common interest in bitcoins, you are in the right place. kudos to the people championing the awareness on bitcoins in your locale, the good job that they have done is what has enabled you and others to know that there is a freedom like bitcoins.

Me myself i have been through hell trying to save money in my fiat currency and instead of the banks to be securing your money instead in my place here the banks actually cut your money and destabilized your whole plan you have for that money.
Banks charge unnecessary fees that they deduct when they like because they have access to your account, they care less about the purpose of any money you keep with them, whether every dime counts for the purpose the money has been kept.
1692  Other / Off-topic / Re: ⚽ Football Injuries and Injury Updates! on: December 16, 2022, 11:19:23 AM
Diaz showed great performances to keep the team alive. Diaz is likely to miss 2 matches in the EPL at least for now. He has better be ready by this date otherwise the number of matches he might miss would go up to 3.
Sad news for Liverpool, with the injuries, most clubs are seeking reinforcement and planning to take advantage of the January transfer window.

In other news, Argentine supporters are hoping that they get to see Messi play in the finals which he has said will be his last world cup game. Messi skipped training to rest his hamstring. In their game with Croatia, I noticed how often he was rubbing his left hamstring.

That is a major concern and hopefully it doesn't affect his performance.

1693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Better Ways To Manage Energy Consumption For Casino Centers. on: December 16, 2022, 09:32:33 AM
What are some better ways to manage energy consumption for casinos in these economic recession times?
The cost of electricity is on the rise generally and for casinos with a lot of facilities it can be wise to manage the situation adequately. To manage the electricity and power consumption, casino management can opt to diversify their power source with the use of other power generators like solar panels and powerful inverters to power up some of their casino equipment like slot machines etc. Lightening is also important to Casino's so they should consider switching lightening to the less power  consuming and energy saving own, that and the cooling units can be kept on the normal electricity line, or whichever way they want to diversify it.

It  would be expensive and may be huge financial investment to begin diversification of power source but in the long run it becomes more economical.

1695  Economy / Economics / Re: Forget a return to office: We’re living in the age of side hustles on: December 16, 2022, 04:55:02 AM
Or is the trend more evenly distributed throughout ride sharing apps, amazon delivery freelancing and purely internet based activities?
The trend is distributed and not all the ventures are crypto based. The bulk of persons who choose to accept cryptocurrency mostly are freelancers or people who their side Hustle involves people from other countries so using cryptocurrency as a medium of payment facilities their payment option and i agree that the Gen Z and some millennials are the ones most taking advantage of this.

Generation Z appears to be the largest freelancing demographic. Which makes sense given they're probably the most internet and technology literate.
They have seen how boring it can become doing a 9-5, five times a week, and how limiting a fixed monthly income can become.

1696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 99% of People Will Lose Crypto in Self Custody on: December 16, 2022, 04:18:21 AM
Recently, when people are withdrawing their money to personalized wallets, CZ says that  out of these people 99% of them will lose money, as only 1% of the people are capable of handling the non-custodial wallets.
As self custody has been the message recently, the awareness about how important safety is should also be raised. People stand a higher chance of loosing their crypto especially at the early stages of self custody, but not 99%, that percentage sounds over exaggerated. Only someone who is not smart will not be extra careful now that he knows that his crypto is their self custody. True that there will be more scams targeting self custodians, there will be some victims but people are bound to learn because it is something important regarding their investments.
1697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 15, 2022, 07:22:19 AM
Coming up to the final match, to be frank I did not hope these 2 teams in the final but if I have to choose which one to win the title, I'll go with France.
Maybe if Morocco had won the game against France and got into the finals, many people who would have agreed that the world cup was rigged to favour Argentina. But the finals between Argentina and France will be a fairly matched contest that will surely provide a lot of excitement befitting for the finals of the world cup. France will be playing to defend and make history by winning the world cup back-to-back while Messi and Argentina will be playing their best to ensure they win the world cup this time.
1698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is your local game includes in online casino ? on: December 15, 2022, 06:39:43 AM
This is our own traditional game that has been there ever since, it is called 'Ayo' which means a game for intellectuals, this is because it needs some mathematical calculation to win the game. It is a board game in which two persons can play in a competition but a home or for fun 2,3,4 or six players can play it.
This game did not start as a board game, I remember then as kids, that we  usually dug holes into the ground and used the seeds from palm kernels to play this game. Our fingers and palms always got dirty from digging and playing, and it took some time to get set for the game from digging and gathering the seeds to play the game with, but it was a fun game. We couldn't play when it rained because the holes are dug on the ground, we couldn't play in the evenings and night as well as the game could not be played indoors, anytime we wanted to play, new holes had to be dug and we had to play only at convenient times in the day. In a bid to navigate all that, I guess it is were the idea to make the game into a board game originated. Very happy seeing our very old local game discussed here.
1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: African teams at Qatar. on: December 15, 2022, 06:14:20 AM
I would continue to support Morocco despite their terrible first- and second-half performances and the incorrect defensive formation that contributed to their loss since they did Africa proud.
Morocco were not terrible in the first half, it was just a slight defensive error that led to the early goal that forced them to change their playing style. If you noticed in the game they had more possession than France which is not their normal style and France were more on the defensive but looked more dangerous anytime they attacked. Morocco were able to create enough chances that would have gotten them the equaliser and even win them the game but the noticeably, they do not have a good finisher. There was this very clear chance at goal that Morocco had just before France doubled their lead,  but the Moroccan player was sluggishly dribbling and trying to work the ball into the net instead of taking a quick snapshot like Mbappe does. Morocco played well but they were not deadly in attack, France played well too, their defence was not so perfect but they were more deadly anytime they attacked.

Congratulations to Morocco, they have made history and Africa proud.
1700  Economy / Exchanges / Re: STOP THE EXCHANGE FUD; Everyone will suffer the effect. on: December 15, 2022, 05:38:16 AM
Fud and fomo are part of cryptocurrency world. Same people who are selling right now due to fud, would buy at peak due to fomo. I see nothing wrong.
There will always be FUD, but we must try not to contribute to it.

Unfortunately some of us who know and use crypto-currency already, also contribute in our own way to this fear, uncertainty and doubts (FUD) that can affect usage and adoption of cryptocurrency. We do so when we share negative reports with people who have no knowledge at all, or no concrete understanding about cryptocurrency and can be easily swayed into believing anything they hear, or easily misunderstand what they hear. We must be careful with what we say around people with no knowledge at all, or no concrete understanding about cryptocurrency.
