1681  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isa na namang Bitcoin negative publicity on: August 06, 2023, 03:26:26 PM
1682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A advise to my friend about his decision on: August 06, 2023, 02:29:20 PM
Your account was newbie means you just created an account here? Or you already have knowledge about bitcoin even without knowing this forum exist?

I have been exposed to bitcoin over the past two years, I do in fact have knowledge and a great deal of knowledge about it. I was just introduced to this forum by a friend, and I'm excited to be a member because it will allow me to learn more about bitcoins.

First of all, welcome to the forum. Secondly, as long as what you are introducing and teaching to your friend is based on research (that is credible) and not just something you randomly found on the internet then good. Sharing your experience with your friend can help too, but always give caution that some things are different for every person and situation. I hope you enjoy your stay here and find knowledge as well as information that you can use and share to your friend.
1683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bold step to invest my fiat in Bitcoin on: August 06, 2023, 01:48:26 PM
The risk here is assessed by acceptance, demand, and popularity, as well as market capitalization. A market of tens of trillions of dollars and a market of only a few hundred billion dollars? Which one do you think is safer?

Bitcoin is a new and attention-grabbing trend, politicians use it to get their own attention, it's an intelligent strategy. But it would be foolish to believe what they say just because they want our vote.

Nobody tells you to buy bitcoin with all the money you have, diversification is something that can help you avoid a lot of trouble. Divide your money into several parts according to the risks that each of the investments contains and invest in several different directions. If something happens to one of them, then you will have others and will make a profit.

Couldn't have said it any better. This is what I do with my own finance. I divide everything according to the risk and how much possible profit I will get based on their own timeline. This way I know I will be able to still have money even if one investment doesn't work. This is a good planning and financing strategy. You just have to be smart in knowing and assessing which investment should you prioritize and which one you should avoid.
1684  Economy / Economics / Re: what do we thinking about investment target? on: August 06, 2023, 12:44:59 PM
I think when talking about investing especially for bitcoin it is still very possible regardless of the many technologies that are getting better and better it does not become a benchmark for being in bitcoin is not possible especially when we talk about investment then bitcoin is still worth it even though a lot of new technology is discovered.
What we have to remember in this case is that investment is not a day or two to get profit but we may talk about years to be able to really earn so by looking at the progress that exists for the last few years I think it doesn't matter with the existence of new technology or whatever it is everything will be fine if it is in bitcoin because I still believe they will continue to develop in a better direction.

It should be a given, however, I understand that may tend to forget about that. Investing is not a quick run to get money. It takes months, if you are lucky, but normally years to see the profit in investing. Money doesn't come easy and quickly as much as we all wish it will. New technology or not, investments in Bitcoin and assets will continue to exits and give profit with enough time.
1685  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation overpowers the value of money on: August 06, 2023, 12:01:48 PM
All banks offer poor interest rates that can't compete with the increasing inflation, even at normal periods when it isn't spiking like it currently is. The only way to counter inflation is by investing in assets, such as stocks or bonds.
Indeed, investment in stocks and bonds is considered as a secure option that can help counter the effects of inflation, as their long term returns have often been significantly higher than inflation.  However, it is worth mentioning that returns on Bitcoin investment have consistently been far higher compared to trading assets over the past 15 years, due to its inherent characteristics of hedge against inflation.

Both of you made good points. Instead of letting your money be stuck in the bank with significantly low-interest rates that do not compare to the continuously increasing inflation, it will be better to invest in assets and Bitcoin. Between the two, it will be up to personal preferences and knowledge in which an individual will choose to invest. Personally, I do both, but it is nice to know there are options for our money to grow amidst inflation.
1686  Economy / Economics / Re: Im owner of wealth club and here is my forecast about global economy on: August 06, 2023, 11:35:55 AM
Can please explain first your club and what is the purpose on it?  Because we are not all lives in UK which you some what talk with in your neighborhood. Also we knew that lot of people that are creating clubs because of the money they can get and I do hope that your thoughts are pure. Back to the topic am I the only one that more prefer to visit the tropical country than Europe? It  is something that you are just advertising your country but again I do prefer where I do see good Beach that is in 10 wonders of the world

All the OP is interested in at the moment is the promotion of his Telegram channel and the links to which he so stubbornly distributes. Several posts have been removed by the moderators, and if he doesn't calm down, his time on the forum could end very soon. Smiley

Yep, that's exactly what it is. A promotion of his telegram channel and a "lesson" of how the economy is not as complex as we make it out to be. OP is just trying to get attention right now for his telegram channel and his link (which I suggest you don't open). I was reading his replies and his arguments are way off topic and very subjective. Guess he just really wants us to join his channel at this point.
1687  Economy / Economics / Re: The leads of Consumption to Productions on: August 06, 2023, 11:09:28 AM
I am lost with what the actual point of your post is. The title and the content of the post is not adding up nor is it connected in any way, at least based on my understanding. Perhaps there is a secret code or personal context that I need to know before I decipher your message.

Nonetheless, I agree with one point I was able to capture from your post. It is indeed a good awakening and a pretty powerful push when someone restricts you and show you just how much potential you have in order to make a change in your life.
1688  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather start/grow a business from scratch or buy an existing business? on: August 06, 2023, 07:54:44 AM
There are three ways to buy an existing business:
1. Buy all the ownership and you have full control over your business.
2. Buy the business's stock, but you're either have less or no control over the business.
3. Buy a franchise and all you need is sell the product.

If you want to buy an existing business, the best is the first one, the safer is the second, and the third is depend on the business. Nowadays many project are making money by selling their franchise, so you need to beware about it.

I'd say buy all the ownership of existing business or start a new business are pretty much similar.

I agree with your list. Essentially, if op wants to buy without worrying about executive work then the third one is the best option. Franchising will keep you away from worrying about marketing and production. However, you need to make sure you have a good place for it where the product's target customers will be around. If op is a starting businessman without much background in business and only wants to gain quick profit then 2 and 3 are good options.
1689  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the effect of having plenty children to the national economy of a country on: August 06, 2023, 07:21:33 AM
To the family, I am sure that having a lot of children is going to be a problem especially if they all started schooling which can be pretty expensive even if you all enroll those kids in public schools, don't forget that with more mouths to feed then the less likely that you will be able to set aside some money for savings. If in terms of economy, I think it's only a problem for short-term since they are going to be an addition to the workforce of the country, with more people means that more labor force that is if we set aside the issue of brain drain for the sake of this hypothetical stuff.

Well that depends on them and if those children will grow up and actually work. Believe it or not there are number of individuals from poor family who are not working and are depending on the help being provided by their government. Hence, instead of helping the country they are adding to the cost. So in a way they can be a problem.
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 05, 2023, 11:48:12 PM
Leclerc so-called wants to play a big role in Ferrari to return to their old days. But is this really worth the risk of not being champions in his career for many more years? But on the other hand I'm trying to understand his choice as well. Because currently the only place in which he could have a chance to be competitive for the title is Red Bull.

But would Red Bull like to have Leclerc while in presence of Verstappen? I don't think so. Red Bull just want a second driver who can comply with the team well and who doesn't fall too far behind their first driver. Leclerc can't fit that description as he wants to be competitive for the title.

If he leaves Ferrari he needs to go to a team that he will be cared about as much as the other driver of that team.
People are reacting as if he has a choice. The only team that has a big chance to win the title is Red Bull right now, that is very much obvious and they have Max as their first driver who gets the wins, the best chance Charles would have could be becoming the second driver and takes Checos place, do you think Charles would give up first seat at Ferrari and go be the second driver at Red Bull?

Mclaren got better only recently, Aston Martin started great became worse, Mercedes does alright but not that much better than Ferrari right now, there isn2t a team that Charles could leave and start winning. This is literally his best position right now, there is no offer on the table for him to go to and start winning.

Every other team that is in the top 5 constructors doesn't have a seat to offer Leclerc and that's a fact. Ferrari wouldn't budge either because they know that Charles got no places to go. I guess, the best position Charles can take right now is ride out the storm, suggest ideas that could help the team win, and don't take shit against the management but be firm on his stance. Ferrari doesn't have any better choice other than Charles right now, either, so it's a stalemate between the two parties.

The guy wouldn't also be comfortable being a second driver, too. He's aggressive, so competitive, and wants to win championships.
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Do You Of Think My Predictions On This Multi Bet Ticket ? on: August 05, 2023, 11:24:04 PM
If you're uncertain on some games that are included on that multi, better cash it out and bet on the remaining games in the bet that you think is going to win. I do that often, cashing out the winnings on the initial bet if I see that one of the games included in the multi could possibly lost. It prevents me from getting screwed in the ass and also helps me analyze some of the bets more closely, leading to more profits on my end.

Or you can just ride it out and see how well that parlay will take you. I usually don't include more than 10 games on mine and I am hitting them so long as I have analyzed and really checked all the games included in it.

I really like the cashout feature since losing one of the last games really hurts. Most places now have cashout.

That's good to hear if most places have cash out now. I only know a couple of places before that has this feature which is good. It prevents you from losing a bet that has already won though not at its maximized potential. You can still make a straight bet after that and get the most profits out of your bets, which I think not a lot of people are doing especially if they're disillusioned to believed that they are going to win 100% of their parlay even with uncertain games on the list.
1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: August 05, 2023, 10:34:53 PM
Drake threw $250,000 on Nate Diaz to beat Jake Paul with 4 to 1 odds. I think he’s probably just hoping to get himself a million dollar payout and didn’t see much gain in betting on Jake Paul. While this does make me think maybe Jake isn’t the sure thing I think he is, it’s not enough to get me to follow him. I still say Jake wins by stoppage.

We all know that Drake loves to throw money on bets that usually doesn't make sense, because he has the capacity to just bet on whoever he likes at the bout. Jake is a decent boxer. Not particularly good, but can throw some decent punches and has a good stamina. If this fight goes the distance, he'd probably win against Nate. But if Jake couldn't really handle the punches Nate is throwing at him, this is a $1m payout for Drake. Stamina-wise, Jake is the better choice. Though in punching power and overall ability to create space and close it, Nate should do this quite easily.
1693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 05, 2023, 09:53:24 PM
For some reason, I think Im leaning towards ENCE rather than G2 tomorrow though

Not quite updated on ENCE lately, though the last time I heard of them, Sunpayus is popping off for the team. Also, their last 3 matches, they won every single one of them. Is this team really worth a beat against G2? G2 managed to beat 3 huge teams in a convincing fashion, so the odds would probably be in favor of G2. Nevertheless, if ENCE performs well enough, they could be the value pick of the day.

1696  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Internet Apocalypse, Handa kaba? on: August 05, 2023, 07:15:37 PM

1697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most worth watching Bitcoin movies on: August 05, 2023, 07:00:15 PM
Talk about dedication. This for sure took a lot of research so thank you OP. Researching about bitcoin can be found in various types of media so it is nice to have an actual list of movies and documentaries that mentions or touches bitcoin in a way. Also, may I suggest Unfriended: Darkweb, it touches on the darkweb and crypocurrency, although it a relatively bad light but still a good watch.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When it's all set and done, do not forget those in need. on: August 05, 2023, 06:46:01 PM
So, what you're trying to say is we should give our money to other people? you can start by yourself, just give all of your money to the people who need it. I bet you wouldn't and you're still accumulating Bitcoin in order to get rich or financial freedom.

Giving a fish to a man only make him able to eat for a day, but teaching him how to catch a fish will surely make him able to survive without your help anymore.
Extending our help to those people who are in bad shape is never a responsibility but it’s always a choice. And you can never help others if you yourself is still in need like giving away a portion of bitcoin when you even struggle to own a single of it. So start helping yourself first and when you think you’ve had enough, then that’s the perfect time to help others. However, offering consistent help and support will leave those people to be lazy and unmotivated. Just help them find a job, and it’s up to them how they will take advantage on it and help theirselves to grow on it.

Couldn't have said it better. People believe that helping others should be a natural right, now that may true in a way but we should also remember that it is not a duty. We should never feel obligated to help, especially when we ourselves are still building out financial standings. We cannot give what we do not have and need. Hence, only help when you can, when you know you will not be the one asking for it after a few days or months.
1699  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: August 05, 2023, 06:29:53 PM
The presence of information technology makes many women who successfully become entrepreneurs, of course it is not an easy thing for women to be successful as an entrepreneur, especially in my country that the most important task of women is to take care of the house and children so that women are rarely found to be successful entrepreneurs.

This was a very big issue among the women especially in Africa but now, people have become wiser. Civilization has taken over. Every woman is now encouraged to learn entrepreneurial skills to help survive and compete favourably with other counterparts in the society. Today, a woman who is not into entrepreneurship and worst still not doing any other thing to earn money is tagged 'lazy'. Our society has changed greatly. The role of women does not end in house keeping and home management.

Starting a business/investment from the scratch is not easy but then, it is good to know that women who are actively involved in entrepreneurship are doing well because women tend to be good managers.

I cannot agree more. It is time for society to accept that locking women in the belief that they should on be the house doing household duties should be long gone. Women has proved time and time again that they are capable of handling heavy responsibilities the past few years. Gender should not be used as a basis of someone's capability.
1700  Economy / Economics / Re: Are short-term rentals to blame for the lack of housing? on: August 05, 2023, 06:14:57 PM
It's mean those people are better than you because they can compete against the locals, if you think earning €700 isn't enough, what about them?

You need to improve your skill in this competitive world, you can't just sit down, scrolling TikTok and wish something miracle you will get promoted to earn higher wage. There's no one should be blame, the strong people will win and the weak people will lose, that's a nature.

This is just way off topic. No need to attack OP like that. After all, no matter how competitive you are in this world, there are outside factors that affects how sucessful someone will be. In OPs case, airbnb and the effects of pandemic has indeed affect the system of housing in various, if not all, parts of the world. The demand is high but so is the price.
