1681  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-09-17] Daring murder in hospital: the death of one of the leaders of MMM. on: September 17, 2016, 08:05:01 PM

Where's Sergei..?

Anyone think that scamming is a game?
Sergei Mavrodi, the inventor of the biggest scam ever (probably) MMM, has been missing since March.

(Bitcoin relevance, MMM Global was/is Bitcoin based and arguably influential in its price movement in 2015).

I checked his history 2 year gap I realized this was a hacked account or leaked from the database in the dark net.

and this proof of said hacking is?

All those messages sent to different users with the same intention of scamming them. Account comes back after 2 years of inactivity. In my thinking this account was a hacked account leaked from database or a bought account with the sole intention of scamming. And my assumptions were right, he cheated as we all know now.

It was pretty obvious (to me) that the Tittiez account has been in the hands of a bad actor since it restarted posting.
Timelord seems to want court standard forensically backed proof of this.

Hahaha, butthurt because Cryptodevil calls you out for exactly what you are, some bunch of nobodies who set up a shit "exchange" to facilitate the worst of the dregs of scam altcoins and their asshole pump and dumpers.
You deserve to be painted red all over, like the shills for the scamcoins that are turning up here to join in your tantrum.

Dear @minifrij firstly take my respect as you are legandary member....if you are in our position, you will understand. if you put 1 positive comment on our trust, we will appreciate it. thanks in advance...

Soliciting trust, naughty boy, definitely a no-no.

you can guaranteed my bitcoin

Lesson #1 for newbies

Guarantees don't exist.

Lesson #2 for newbies

The only people who mention guarantees are scammers.

A review of this shit from behindmlm.com.

Lara With Me Review: Telegram-based Russian Ponzi community

Jul.22, 2016 in MLM Reviews

There is no information on the Lara With Me website indicating who owns or runs the business.

The Lara With Me website domain (“larawith.me”) was registered on the 2nd of June 2016, however the domain registration is set to private.

A promotional video on the Lara With Me website is in the Russian language, strongly suggesting the Lara With Me admin is based out of Russia.

This is supported by Alexa estimating that 53.9% of traffic to the Lara With Me website originates out of Russia. Russia’s neighbor, Ukraine, is the second-largest source of traffic at 10%.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

The Lara With Me Compensation Plan

The Lara With Me compensation plan sees affiliates invest $10, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1000, $2000, $3000, $5000, $10,000, $15,000 or $20,000 on the promise of an advertised infinite 3% daily ROI.
Referral commissions on funds invested by recruited affiliates are paid both directly and residually.
Lara With Me affiliates earn a 10% direct referral commission.
Residual referral commissions are paid out via a unilevel compensation structure.

A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):

If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.

If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.

Lara With Me pay affiliates a 1% commission on funds invested by recruited affiliates in their unilevel team.

Joining Lara With Me

Affiliate membership with Lara With Me is tied to a $10 to $50,000 investment.

Conclusion

Quote
Lara – is an interactive robot, which is able to work with your money and pay you 3% of net profit daily. Your investment is active lifetime.

The problem with the ruse of AI that generates 3% daily, is that if the owners of Lara With Me actually had such a thing, they wouldn’t be operating a shady investment scheme.

Withdraw a token amount from a bank, set the AI to work and within a few years retire as the richest person on the planet.

Yet here they are, offering a shady investment scheme through Telegram.

Telegram itself is a legitimate messaging app that has nothing to do with Lara With Me.

Telegram claims to be “faster and way more secure” than other messaging apps, and is ad-free and cloud-based.

Quote from: Telegram
Our API is open, and we welcome developers to create their own Telegram apps.
We also have a Bot API, a platform for developers that allows anyone to easily build specialized tools for Telegram.
That “Bot API” is what Lara With Me have plugged into. In reality, it’s just fancy talk for a script that verifies affiliate investment via bitcoin. That’s it.
Bots on Telegram are publicly available. If you find bots on Telegram that you think are illegal, please ping us at abuse@telegram.org.

If Telegram investigate and shut down Lara With Me’s API access, the scheme instantly collapses.

In an attempt to come up with a legitimate explanation of where Lara With Me’s 3% a day ROIs come from, the owner(s) are feeding affiliates all sorts of nonsense.

LARA system invests investors’ money in carefully selected start-up projects with high income.
Carefully analyzing and selecting the best, long-term investment projects on the internet, managing the investor’s trust funds, LARA is able to generate passive income indefinitely.
High-yield online projects have always existed in a large number. Systems can be quite different: offering a small percentage and paying dividends for years, or the rapid and big projects, capable of bringing extremely high dividends of the initial investment in the short term.
The industry in which we operate for more than one year, and which by right can be considered one of the most profitable areas on the Internet, not excluding the risk of loss of funds for sure, is called “HYIP market.”

The majority of projects in this market, in whole or partially operate on the principle of a pyramid scheme.

This is a venturous zone in which the users are well aware of all the risks and the danger of loss of funds, but nevertheless invest huge sum of money (compared to the typical online casino) and manage to build strategies successfully “winning” from the project administrators, or other members of the project.
This sector is especially developed in the CIS countries and Russia. Probably it is the evolved legacy of the well known three letters MMM …
The basis of LARA portfolio is composed of just the projects of this type.

MMM Global was a Russian Ponzi scheme that promised affiliates a 100% a month ROI. It collapsed earlier this year.

Lara With Me’s admins would have you believe they’re investing funds in similar schemes, which enables them to pay out a 3% a day ROI.

Riiiiiiiiight.

As if a scam investing in scams wasn’t bad enough, get a load of this bullet-proof logic:

Quote
How actually does LARA provide 3% daily?
Let’s start with the fact that the system is not obliged to return the deposit, that is, namely the initial party investment.

“Hay guys, we’re totally sustainable because we initially pay you less. Math? Lolwut math?”

For what it’s worth, invest over $2000 and Lara With Me claim they’ll show you exactly what Ponzi schemes they’re investing your money in.

Quote
Demonstration of LARA’s investment portfolio is available only to users of the system, with a total volume of commitments no less then $ 2,000 (two thousand US dollars), and the profile should be registered for at least 30 days.

These measures are implemented to preserve the confidentiality of the instruments of capital increase, as well as to ensure the safety of members’ deposits.

Considering Lara With Me is fraud built on investing in more fraud, don’t expect too much transparency though.

As with all Ponzi schemes, once newly invested funds dries up Lara With Me will be unable to meet its 3% a day ROI obligations.

When that happens the scheme will have collapsed and the owner(s) will do a runner.

The use of bitcoin to management funds invested with Lara With Me makes victim fund recover next to impossible.

Most of those addresses are very old and haven't been used for a long time mostly for bitcoin mining and other pools which I don't have access to anymore since most of the websites are down..

Is there a way (agency) to report these guys?

Nope.
It's fun trolling their threads though.

If you want to point your friends to some background on this particular scam, there's a reliable site here which specializes in MLM analysis, and as that crap industry targets crypto more and more, it's worth understanding the dynamics of it.
1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nanoclub NANOTEC NNC on: September 09, 2016, 06:02:51 PM
It's a scam reboot of Octacoin/Crypto 888 Club, professional but amateur MLM schemers.

Does a new alternate coin need to be registered somewhere and is there a database to review this?

No, this is the Wild West matey, people just invent a shitcoin, list it on a shitcoin exchange, then shill it like fuck, pump it and dump it.
Then do it again.

1696  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ZarFund - An obvious ponzi and potential scam on: September 09, 2016, 05:36:01 PM

Although I completely agree with you, let's not make mountains out of molehills.
Ex MMM pimp Hannes Jordaan isn't going to get any joy with his sad little clone, and I'd be very surprised if any reputable signature campaign organiser would touch him.
I've left him negative trust already and urge you to do the same if "you strongly believe that this person is a scammer". I know neither of us are on DT but that doesn't matter, if you start leaving relevant trust then people will hopefully read it..

Ive genuinely enjoyed reading your posts even if I detect a degree of a moral judgement over what Im doing for even bringing it up for discussion,

Not particularly, not in the sense of morality for morality's sake.
The concept of trust interests me greatly and Satoshi's invention gives it a new dimension, with the theory of trustable trustlessness.
To see its practical application overrun by the same old same old crap irritates me, especially with so much time spent by reasonably intelligent people working out how to use it for boringly short sighted purposes.

is www.nicehash.com a ponzi?

Nicehash is not a cloud miner for the purposes of this thread, in that it doesn't pretend to sell you a contract in exchange for ROI payments.
They are a clearing house arrangement for buying/selling hash power and have been going for over two years.
Use the "search" function to read more about them. Always do your own research before investing any bitcoin anywhere.

November 8th 2015 seems like quite a busy day in the Jim/Jam world, it's the date the two accounts you mention were created and also the date that your current account became inactive for three months.

The likely scenario is that whoever you bought this account from decided that he liked the basic name and created two more accounts to farm.
But now you're probably going to start arguing that your present account wasn't bought etc. etc. and I can't be assed to.
