I hope that none of them will manage to get into DT somehow, because then all the fake red trust they poured onto the forum members will become real red tags and not just untrusted feedbacks...

Some people use self moderated threads to delete warnings about shady behavior, criticism of the OP (or someone closely related), or questions that make the OP look bad. Or they produce self modded [ANN] threads (for scams) that go on for over two hundred pages full of shitposts made by bumping service accounts, deleting all unfavorable posts along the way. That was the only trading platform as he had told me. The mode of communication with these scammers are only through watsap and email.
Bitcoin transaction details? What e-mail? WhatsApp details? If you don't want to share them here that's up to you, but any LE report you make will need them. What country are you in?
Edit: OP has decided to open another thread with some gory details..... I invested with a person named Jerry. He promised me that he will make 11k with $1000investement. I deposited him 1000 through paypal. Then after few days he said i have to pay for the insurancr, which he didnt tell me beforehand. Without insurance he couldnt do the furthur trading, so i had to deposit insurance of $1750 in form of bitcoins.  |

If an exchange or ICO or anything is legitimate, why would they need to employ a newb bumping/vouching service?
Yes, that's a reasonable question to ask, especially of a scheme which boasts of receiving awards and accolades My experience of the bumping services/scam subject ratio is pretty much 20:20. Why would a quality setup think about how best to market itself and then decide on a crass, clumsy series of spam posts on Bitcointalk? |

Currently, I noticed with myself that I can only go to depth level 2 when using hierarchical view. If I try to view either depth level 3 or 4 on hierarchical view, then I get a loading error (the page will not load). Maybe too much data if viewed on depth level 3 or 4?

This trading exchange looks reliable because they have won few awards as well which means they are reputed plus they are charging less service charges on the transactions that's why I am preferring this platform. I recommend this to you guys to give it a try.

No reason for 20pt RED CAPS SCAM rating at the moment, but if it looks like a duck, associates with other ducks and quacks like one, then a sensible stance is not to indulge in $100million deals with it as suggested by their Fivvver video, without full due diligence.. |

That will take continual updating to have any credibility, lists such as these are out of date as soon as they are compiled.
Scammers (not suggesting you are one) have set up similar sites in order to list their schemes amongst legitimate ones.

At this very moment, someone on this forum could be reading one of his self-moderated threads, full of positive feedback from his alternate forums profiles and decide to invest in one of the coins listed on VaultMex. That's true, but it is very difficult to help people who don't help themselves at least a little bit. Should your scenario indicate the depth of due diligence that the theoretical investor thinks adequate, then unfortunately it will only be a matter of time before he gets scammed somewhere along the line. Search VaultMex in the forum search and critical threads are listed, search VaultMex in Google and "Scam Exchange VaultMeX!" is on this first page. Involving moderators in any but the simplest value judgments is not practical or, to some, desirable. |

What is preventing him from using his many forum accounts to sabotage the trust level on another person's account?
I mean the way he did it in that image was obvious and stupid, but what is there to prevent a more systematic deliberate attempt spread out over a duration of time?
His untrusted feedback (and any untrusted feedback that he may leave from alt accounts) is pretty meaningless in the great scheme of things. There's no way to prevent, in advance, anyone doing anything if they are determined, systematic and deliberate about it. Using Trust Ratings improperly is a problem sometimes. The Reputation Child Board is one of the checks and balance mechanism the forum has for that, but moderators are not empowered to act (unless in extreme cases) as Theymos seems to see trust as a P2P situation. |

Unfortunately, no. Scams are not moderate to prevent moderator abuse. The best thing to do continue to bring awareness and encourage more DT members to leave negative feed back on the trust wall of those involved. Can the moderators at least do something about this feedback he is leaving people?  If not I must ask with all due respect, what is it exactly are they moderating? If you think about it, the nonsense feedback that he is leaving rebounds on him and confirms his lack of credibility. |
