1681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 29, 2022, 10:58:35 PM
This kind of fixed match is planned very well.  They had considered all the angles not to be suspicious in the eyes of the viewers.  That might be an epic match where the underdog wins after a "very hard" planned match if that wasn't rigged.

But can't be applied to the case shared by OP. The actions there are too obvious in front of the viewers. I didn't even understand where they got the guts to perform like that on National Television. Maybe that league's reputation is already damaged even before as I'm sure it's not the first time that a rigged match happened there. Seems also that all participants in that rigged match are not even worried about the consequences of what they are doing.

If that's the case, and there's no action from the Sports Community or something related to that in their country, the sports there aren't taken seriously. It's a disgrace if the authorities are not doing something actions to bring back the glory of sports there. There might also be politics behind those as to how they can easily do that act. It's like if there's money, that's a priority, regardless if it's legal or not.
1682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 WNBA Discussion and Betting on: July 29, 2022, 10:51:26 PM
^I like the picks but it ain't profitable.
Spreads are -14.5 for the Aces and -10.5 for the Sky. I would just go for the +14.5 for the Indiana Fever instead.

Seems that the later WNBA matches are much more difficult to bet. Since obviously, that Moneyline is not worth picking, no choice but to bet on handicap. Most WNBA teams seem also not consistent in most cases wherein if they will show dominance tonight, the other night is worst and etc.

Looking at the gap in the current odds on the upcoming games later on which is posted above, is that how far the distance between teams in WNBA right now?

I want to see the next day's set of matches if the ML odds are still having that wide gap.
1683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 29, 2022, 10:40:03 PM
Ok, this is just my thoughts, I think it boils down to the guaranteed money for either boxer. I'm not sure of the numbers but we haven't seen 1 million buys for a long time isn't it? And then the PPV is going to be expensive in this one, like $80.00. Is fans willing to pay that much or would rather look for other venues to watch it for free? (just like the majority of us here). So the networks maybe can't guarantee how much they are going to give them in terms of the PPV. Even the Canelo fights are not that generating at least 1 million PPV, he is the cash cow right now. So this could be in the tune of like 500,000-600,000 which might fall to the expectation of networks.

That makes sense and I agree with that. But take note that when the Canelo vs Bivol bout was officially dealt with, the majority looked down on Bivol and considered him as the underdog even though he's also a champion and Canelo is the one entering his league. Maybe that's the reason why it didn't generate much PPV sales because of lack of excitement as most people think the fight will be a landslide victory for Canelo which turned out not and a big upset instead. "Just my opinion."

I'm not sure though but maybe the same case won't happen to Crawford and Spence since their fight was already in the making for several years and these 2 are currently one of the most hype boxers right now. It means most boxing fans around the world are waiting for that fight for long and willing to pay just to watch it live on PPV or any other subscriptions.

But what do others think about that issue? Any ideas on your mind that might be the best solution for this? No wrong answers, just a wild analysis.
1684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 29, 2022, 10:27:57 PM

Brgy. Ginebra was able to cover their handicap of -2.5 @ 1.8. A good option compare to Moneyline @1.65 (although I don't know when was the time it was shifted and adjusted to @1.75). But seriously, the same handicap can almost cover too by Meralco as they literally take the game close with Ginebra the entire game. They are even up by a few points entering the 4Q.

I'm really sure Ginebra will take that game however Meralco is really playing at their best. It's like every possession should be worthy or else that will lead to the turning point of the game. Do-Or-Die next game and we should expect a close game. I'm sure the Moneyline odds for both teams aren't that gap next game.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 29, 2022, 10:19:08 PM
I agree with you that Dwight Howard was pretty good during his prime in Orlando. However, his statistics are getting worse and worse every year, and it seems to me the latest rumors about Howard sound like he's really going to end his NBA career in the near future. To be honest, it would be sad because he is only 36 years old, and I think he would be able to play at least 2-3 seasons more.

As the NBA's top overall pick in 2004, Dwight Howard is really expected to be one of the most dominant rookies that season. During that season, having a big man on any team's roster is a big deal. But yes, like any most players that were dominating during their prime, they will show signs of slowing down as they progress. There are players that even in their post-prime already, are still a good asset to a team but not the case with Dwight Howard.

He's not been injury-prone the entire of his career but his dominance slowly faded because of that injuries. And the rest is history, signing with different teams, limited playing time, etc. like Howard is just enjoying his career.

Well, at least he got his first NBA title during the Bubble. A ring is a ring no matter how critics considered bubble season as a joke.
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: July 28, 2022, 11:13:59 PM
The online streamers get paid to do what they love doing and even when they "lose", they still win.

Only applied though at those popular streamers already or something along those lines.

Those small streamers or still in the progress of getting names, spend their own money to play at those slot-based content. They are creating names for the gambling site they are promoting to catch their attention and if by luck, a partnership will be formed.

However, not all streamers ended up successfully.

There are streamers who have already spent big on their operation cost but their journey still fails no matter how big the effort they did.
1687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 28, 2022, 11:08:13 PM
Interesting disclosure about Zion Williamson’s contract with the Pelicans. He’s financially incentivized to keep his weight down or else the amount of guaranteed money in his contract is reduced. I’m order to get the full amount, Zion needs to keep his weight + his body fat % below 295. I imagine that means he needs to stay under 280lbs. While that may seem easy, there were speculations that his weight had ballooned to over 325 while he was injured last year.

Interesting. This is honestly the first time I heard about that agreement. Is this for real? And Zion accepted that disclosure? lol.

What if even at that weight, he will show dominance and still establish decent stats per game? Maybe that was too much to ask since if they will forced Zion to reduce weight, it will take several months in the process and that might affect his usual game performance once the season commences.

The best way would be, they should see first if Zion's weight will be a big problem to him once official games are now started. From there, they can decide if Zion should take the reduced weight program or just allow him on his usual.

Look at Luka Doncic, noticeably seen that he increases his weight too since he entered the NBA. Slow moving and not that athletic but look, always establishing decent numbers and can even carry a team. Although can't compare to what is happening to Zion, the overall point is just the same.
1688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can trading be likened to gambling and how so? on: July 28, 2022, 11:02:29 PM

First of all, we should not compare trading and gambling in the first place. That won't even help us.

Although we are risking money in both, there are respective strategies to take advantage of both fields.

We do not just do trades and allow our money to lose. We have strategies for that. Likewise in gambling, we are not just relying on our luck here, especially in sports-betting and strategy-based gambling games. We also have a set of strategies there.

The bottom line, just do our best to make our money worth risking, be it on trading or gambling.
1689  Economy / Gambling / Re: I want to make a telegram live betting group… on: July 28, 2022, 10:56:08 PM

Regardless of whether the Telegram group is alive or not, I think we should not take that as a big deal if there's no money involved there in the first place like a sort of subscription or offers in the future that OP will try to market to all users there.

We all have "common sense" to begin with and don't give that group so much attention.

People can just simply ignore it if they found it not interesting. After all, this place is already enough for any sports-related discussions. Maybe OP just wants an instant quick chat and responses from anyone without the need of posting.

Either way, we should just forget this thread and OP's Telegram group since it's abandoned now.
1690  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bottom in for BTC? on: July 28, 2022, 10:48:20 PM
I am not 100% sure. This could be the bottom i.e at $20k - $22k or there could be one final capitulation to $13k for the final bottom.

Usually, BTC bottom is a drop down to 84% but again we have more awareness and adoption. From now on the drops might be smaller.

For the sake of speculation, we can assume that the $20,000-$22,000 range is the current bottom. The price is swinging at that range for weeks now and seems that there's strong support to hold that price range where there is notable more demand.

After all, we don't know what will happen next. Regardless if that's the bottom or not, if the plan is to hold for long, then just do the buy at that price level.

We should always try to avoid the question to ourselves, "if only I bought before" when an uptrend is now slowly happening.
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 28, 2022, 10:37:31 PM
It's clear that what Nets are looking for is salary fillers (players unimportant, just match the salary of Durant) along with overhaul of picks, if they can get like 3-4 good picks, then whoever else as a player comes along with that wouldn't be cared.

Hmm, I think it's not. If that is just simple, there are teams who can match Kevin Durant's salary without risking their players to keep.

It's no secret that Brookly Nets already turned down lots of offers from those who show interest in Kevin Durant as they want good players in return which can't be granted that easily by those teams. It's not just they want some team to match the salary of Durant but they want a better package to fully utilize the trade.

They are trading a wonderful piece, not just a common player, and there's a chance they can get a big-name player too. For now, they don't find yet any good trade package so Durant is still hanging or maybe, no trade will happen and Durant has no choice but to still wear the Nets jersey in the upcoming season.

Well, we don't know though what's happening inside. Let's wait for the progress.
1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: July 28, 2022, 10:22:59 PM

Do we have a source on what platform is the most used in online gambling streams regardless of fiat or crypto gambling?

Is it Twitch?
Is it Youtube?

Mostly, Youtube live streams are mostly online games with no gambling related. They just show their character progress (in terms of MMORPG), skills and strategies (in terms of MOBA and shooting games), etc.

For Twitch, I think this is the most used platform for streaming gambling-related content.

Maybe Twitch is not that strict when it comes to gambling content unlike Youtube so we often see gambling-related content on Youtube. Just my own guess.
1693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 WNBA Discussion and Betting on: July 28, 2022, 10:16:35 PM

I'm following WNBA before and even placed bets at some games. That's the time when I'm still at hype betting on basketball after the NBA Finals and my only options are WNBA and local basketball games. But it's been a year now that I don't have any updates regarding the league.

I'm glad that my favorite Becky Hammon of the New York Liberty before, was involved in NBA as an assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs for 8 seasons if I'm not mistaken. But this year, he won't be part of the Spurs coaching staff as she now shifts to other league.

Anyways, bookmarking this thread for any updates and for discussion purposes.
1694  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to raise funding for trading? on: July 26, 2022, 11:17:13 PM
I am doing trading since more than Four years and earning good  but i want more capital for big trade setups, so any pro trader please suggest me that how can i raise fund for my trading.

I know nothing about  fundraising so please guide me through this process for my better future.

If you don't have any financial sources then no choice but to focus on doing successful trades regularly.

Save up profits until such time that you already made a decent capital to advance and step up to your next trading goals. However, you don't need to literally have a one-time big-time capital as you can do it slowly but surely. Even professional traders use their profit to circulate within the market.

And the fact that you already have 4 years of trading experience, which I consider a decent experience already, and you claimed the overall earnings are good so far, you should be able to form a good strategy to address your concern about increasing your capital.

Good luck with your brainstorming!
1695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you guys think is the best crypto signals group on Telegram? on: July 26, 2022, 11:00:02 PM
What do you guys think is the best crypto signals group on Telegram?

There's no such thing as "best" crypto signals group, especially with how volatile most cryptos are.

Let's say I will disregard the "scam" part, if they are offering free signals, that should contain proper chart reading and analysis, and not just they will just point to the bid and ask price. Crypto is hard to predict that signals don't work most of the time.

And as I also pointed out before "Professional traders are too busy with their trading works. They don't have time providing trading signals".
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 26, 2022, 10:49:21 PM
Spence is not an ordinary boxer, they have almost the same ranking, so he will not take it easy and will make sure he has some strategy that Spence could not counter.

On the other hand, expect Crawford to have some prepared strategies to counter Spence too.

Again, as I mentioned, it's about the good timing to execute their respective strategies. If successfully executed, that's a big advantage already as it will take a heavy toll on their opponent. And if one of them will continue to land a perfect blow, that will result in a possible KO win at either of them.

But for me, since they are currently the no. 1 and 2 at the Welterweight division right now, I'm expecting that they won't just play defense all throughout and care for the points per round. I want to see them challenging each other in close combat while saying "I'm the strongest!".
1697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 26, 2022, 10:42:21 PM
I'm thinking, what if Ginebra will get eliminated early, I think the favorite to win the championship will be the SMB. Personally, I think Magnolia has a better shot than any other team, Fajardo is playing like his prime years but Magnolia can limit him while they continue their good defense.

If I'm not mistaken, SMB is really the top favorite to win the championship this All-Filipino Cup, and to what the standing turned out during eliminations, they still sealed being the Favorite in this quarterfinals. Ginebra may be just on the second option? Do we have a source for the Conference Outrights betting, especially in fiat online bookies that are based locally?

Either way, even though I'm looking forward for Ginebra to advance or even get the first conference title this season, seems to me that Magnolia will stand in any team's way. The way Magnolia is playing, we can see clearly that they are working as a team, and notably, Calvin Abueva always giving his best every game.

Magnolia fans are surely expecting a big bounce back after the failed rally the last conference.
1698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 26, 2022, 10:28:41 PM
~~~
If there's the 4th meeting between these 2, GGG might be around 42-43 years old by that time.
OK.. so you are saying that in case Canelo loses this fight, he will wait for another 3 years to face Golovkin again? GGG is 40 years now. If there is a 4th fight, that should happen in 2023. By that time, Golovkin will be 41, and not 43. But it is entirely another story if Canelo avoids fighting him (as happened after the second fight). Anyway, Canelo has other commitments as well. He is planning to take on Bivol sometime soon. It may happen by end of this year, or by Q1 next year, if he scores a KO victory over Golovkin.
That was just a wild guess, bro. In the very first place, Canelo didn't even prioritize having a trilogy that's why long talks again might happen. Although that might be changed if GGG will win against him on their 3rd meetup.
If ever Canelo will lose against GGG, I'm sure Canelo will still follow his original roadmap and might take 2-3 fights before considering having the 4th match with GGG. If Canelo will average 1 fight per year, which is just a sample figure since usually, the average is about 2, 2-3 fights might end in 2-3 years and GGG will be around 42-43 years old. Organizing a fight, especially a big one is not that simple to arrange and we should consider that thing as one of the reasons for a long negotiation.
Anyways, this is just speculation. GGG even needs to win first for a possible 4th bout in the future against Canelo.
1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos You're Playing That Are not On This Forum on: July 26, 2022, 10:14:15 PM
So I would like to ask are you playing in casinos that are not on this forum, if so what are these casinos and how's your experience can you recommend them here, can you name your own list
To my own preference, in most cases, I don't play at any crypto-casinos without an Announcement thread here. We all know that choosing crypto-casinos should be carefully picked as there's no such thing as a refund, chargeback, or any insurance here once these sites turned into fraud or scams. We need a discussion thread at these casinos to somehow see how they are communicating properly to the community.
Even the licensed casinos, as long as they are new, I really don't feel safe trying them unless I found something "unique" that catches my attention. For what are those "unique" I'm referring to, there are no specific things. It's just that there's something that will trigger in my mind that I need to try the site.
1700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: POSSIBLE THINGS TO HELP US TO WIN AT CRYPTO CASINOS on: July 26, 2022, 10:03:02 PM
It's making you want to pursue because you think that it's not yet enough. Eventually, you'll be able to be chased by the house if you don't stop and if you're greedy and wanting more even if you've won already.
Since after a big win, gamblers do have a feeling that luck is on their side so why should they stop? Because of that feeling, they are excited that they might want to hit that big win again if they continue and the rest is history. I sometimes feel that way but not to the point I will go all-in with my remaining winnings.
As soon as I noticed that something wrong is happening wherein no big win or even triggering free spins for over 20 spins, that's the signal that I should take a break. I admit I even tried for another 10 spins and then that's it.
And I know, it's not just me but here's the scenario I always experience; I will hit a good win at the buy-in feature, and let's say I have won $200 on that round and multipliers. Since I feel lucky, I will tell myself to gamble more the $50 since that's still a profit. When that amount loses, I feel regret if I will stop now so will put again another $50 to test my luck. Then after the same losing result, there's a question that I should stop early lol.
