701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: February 18, 2023, 11:47:38 PM
Didn’t expect this as well since the way converge played the game, i though they are in control but suddenly collapse in the last quarter, local players failed to help their import though this was a close game.

Actually, it's not that Converge collapses on the final end. It's just that NLEX just really did a great job executing their plays during the final minutes.

We can't also blame the locals for why Converge lost in that game. It's unfair to even their import do have a big production. Overall, the game was being decided on what team will successfully do the very important part of the close game, the "turning point".

Nice to see unusual teams again sitting at the 3rd and 4t spot but I do hope Converge will have a good rally this conference.
702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 18, 2023, 11:39:59 PM
True, I mean, who does that? Surely both camps are doing their own homework on how to defeat the opposite camps and take note about their habits inside the ring and its weakness.

I have to agree. These boxers are surely aware of what to do once they will now face off with each other in the actual match, as it's obvious, part of the training is how to do their plan strategy in reality. They are not just doing physical training and regular routines and workout within several months of preparation but also spend time watching the performance of their respective opponents to analyze what those adjustments need to do.

Actually, every boxer when stepping up into the ring, does have their plan strategy already. They won't just fight empty-handed, of course.

However, the turning point is how to perfectly able to do that strategy in the actual fight as sometimes, there are scenarios that their opponent will just show a unique strategy that was never shown during the boxer's previous matches.
703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 18, 2023, 11:31:14 PM
It's a humble thing for Inoue to say that he's also having troubles in terms of pressure. We've known the guy to be a very decorated and experienced fighter and we think that he's already past these stages wherein he's worried about the pressure. The jump from bantamweight to featherweight isn't that much, but he acknowledges that it might be something that he isn't thoroughly prepared for and that's commendable compared to fighters who talks trash and can't really stand up for it.

It's not that Inoue is already past the stages of being pressured. There will always be pressure if a boxer will fight a title match right away just after moving up. Aside from that, Inoue is used to fighting as a champion and not a challenger and that's the new environment he is facing and not the jump from 118 to 122 as for me, it shouldn't be a big deal.

Fighting also in Japan, where the boxing market industry is huge and decent money is circulating in every of his fight in his hometown, Inoue does carry a responsibility on his shoulder to win the fight or else, a negative post-effect is expected to follow although not to the point that it will be considered as worst.
704  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: February 18, 2023, 11:23:32 PM
Even so, we must be careful not to fall for the lure of bonuses and promotions that don't make sense. in particular, for casinos that have just sprung up especially if they don't have a license. So, the safest choice is to stick with a reputable casino, especially those in our community.

I don't see yet any casino promotions that don't make sense. Like a deposit bonus with no wagering requirements?

Even a scammy site should make a promotion that does make sense since they won't be able to attract new users if they will offer sh*t bonuses.

Maybe in general, the conclusion of your statement is, regardless of the bonus and promotions offered, users should always refer to the casino's reputation as the main factor when choosing a casino.

Back to the topic, what offers and bonuses did OP or their site manage to execute now that are based on community responses?
705  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: February 18, 2023, 11:18:53 PM
For gambling is always better the PC, but sometimes we aren't at home and still nice to have the Phone option to place some bets. Let's say you are at a party and is a UFC night (Like tonight :p) and your friend in the party decides to put the Fights on the screen... You have $200 in balance in your favorite casino and it allows you to bet from your phone on the responsive UI.

With a responsive design, you don't miss the experience from the casino out of home, and that's a big +1 for the Responsive design.

I think most people nowadays who owned smartphones have phones built with decent specs or if not, should be above average and can fully run any gambling site without experiencing a laggy or unresponsive UI.

The fact also that person afford to spend $200 in gambling, I'm sure their owned phones do have above average in terms of specifications. Smiley

Regardless though, be it on a phone or PC, sports betting should easily take place on either of those not unless playing under pressure in live games where bets need to take place smoothly as odds are often changing even every second, we need a quiet quick device for that.
706  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best crypto casino for Netherlands? on: February 18, 2023, 10:47:24 PM
Is there any casino out there that is trustworthy for residents of the Netherlands? One that will not ask for your identity or block your account when you win a big amount?. I know there are casinos out there that requires no KYC, but will they still be trustworthy if you win a large amount over $10k?

Any popular casinos right now that already established a good reputation can somehow consider trustworthy.

But about your concern regarding KYC, we aren't sure if you can't trigger the alarm at those sites. Most centralized casinos are now being hit with much strict regulations that's why no choice but to include KYC on their respective terms.

For me, what matter is being trustworthy instead of playing in an unknown casino just to avoid the KYC thing. If you were able to win a big win on that amount you have mentioned, no choice but to comply if KYC will be asked. What good choice do we have in the first place? You really need to read carefully the Terms and Services regarding KYC of any sites as being ignorant is not an excuse in the event of an account being questioned.
707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: February 17, 2023, 11:56:13 PM
For the odds, I believe, Donaire will also be the favorite here despite his age.
It is good that they found another boxer to fight for this belt.
The sooner the better, as he needs to finish what he wants to finish before he hang his gloves.
He still has something to give to his fans, hence, he keeps on fighting.

Since Donaire is still on the WBC top rankings even after losing to Inoue, he will really have this title-shot opportunity.

Alejandro Santiago should be handled more easily by Donaire compared to rank 1 Jason Moloney.

Not saying this match will be an easy win for Donaire despite his age compared to facing Moloney but it should be.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 17, 2023, 11:52:37 PM
but curious if his movements or his power will still be the same like when he was at 118. let's see.

I'm sure fighting from 118 to 122, we should not expect any changes in Inoue's power. As you said 118 and 122 don't have much difference.

Aside from that, Inoue is around 122 lbs after weigh-in on his previous fights and that is his actual weight when fighting in the ring. Regardless though, we just need to wait for the actual match to happen.

No official date until now but some fiat bookies already have the date which is May 30.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 17, 2023, 11:46:09 PM
Another exciting match will come this weekend. The clash between Luis Nery against Azat Hovhannisyan at 122.

They just made their official weigh-in but Azat lacks only a few after weighing 121.6. Should not be a big deal though.

The winner of this match will be the mandatory challenger of who will win against Stephen Fulton and Naoya Inoue.
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 17, 2023, 11:21:06 PM
Much to my surprised Magsayo will not have Roach as his lead trainer he opted to be with Marvin Zamodio, lets's see in this coming fight if Magsayo made the right decision, Magsayo badly needed to win this fight, but changing your main trainer like Roach will make a huge impact in his performance could be bad or good for this coming fight, it will be interesting what Magsayo will show with Zamudio in his corner.

Should not be a big deal because Magsayo and Roach already parted ways last year even prior to the negotiation of this fight against Figueroa.

Besides, his new trainer Marvin Zamodio can consider a real deal as he worked with Roach as an assistant trainer for a long time and it involves working with some of the big names in boxing too. His portfolio is already big and I even want to see him, as a fellow Filipino, act as Magsayo's coach.

After all, it's only the head coach that was changed in Magsayo's team and all others remained on their post.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling problem on: February 16, 2023, 11:50:31 PM

In reality, those gamblers that have a serious gambling problem already might not refer to any form of help as they are already owned by the negative effects of gambling. Those gamblers are in need of a serious approach and their families and friends play a big role to help them.

Maybe the site mentioned by the OP will help instead those people that still can control themselves despite feeling emotional stress due to gambling.

But for those who are new to the gambling world, as much as possible don't allow yourself to experience such negative effects that gambling brings to us.
712  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: February 16, 2023, 11:46:35 PM

Wag lang talaga mag-aasal Diva out of nowhere at GG talaga ang kalalabasan.

713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: February 16, 2023, 11:43:05 PM

What a big break indeed to Alejandro Santiago's career as even ranked 6 by the WBC, he now has the opportunity to take the Bantamweight title.

A long gap age difference between Donaire and Santiago but I hope others won't just point out the age as a possible hindrance here for the former. Good to know that Donaire didn't wait for long and that the negotiation is being organized right away to set up the match for the vacant WBC Bantamweight title.

Still looking forward though for the "Filipino Flash" to winning that match. I want to see if Donaire still "has it".
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 16, 2023, 11:35:06 PM

Naoya Inoue might be a Knock Out artist but we can't compare Stephen Fulton to those who are being KOed by Inoue within just only early rounds.

From what I speculate about the possible result of this fight, my guess is; Inoue will win by TKO in late rounds or Unanimous Decision.

Stephen Fulton won't surely just allow Inoue to outbox him in the entire fight. If he can't really handle Inoue and realized it in the middle of the fight, instead of possibly kissing the canvass, he will just try to avoid the close encounter as possible as he can until the final bell rings and just accept that he lost that fight.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting fraud in Brazil 😦 on: February 16, 2023, 11:30:10 PM
In these cases, bets were placed on the competitions that we call "Series B", which is the second largest football championship in Brazil, in which the best classifieds guarantee a place for the main championship in the following year.

I was honestly surprised that something like that, which can consider "big", does have a case like that.

We all know that football is a highly recognized sport in Brazil that's why the gambling market for that sport is really huge. Because of that, it was being targeted by those who want to do some sh*t in sports betting.

I don't understand why players accept the bribe. They are already paid well for the long-term for just being a player in that big league.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: February 13, 2023, 11:53:11 PM
I'm not sure what happen to him, he seemed like he doesn't want to win, the takeover mode is gone.

Impossible that Brownlee has that in mind. It's just the worst night and that's it. We don't need to think like that.

Disregarding speculations of "Sagip-Kapamilya", Magnolia is really doing great at the start. They keep that consistency throughout the game and protect their big lead. Ginebra, on the other hand, didn't push for something that is already settled.

Just unfortunate that those 11,000 gate attendees didn't witness the game the expected to watch. At least Ginebra didn't make that game turn out like that. Kudos to Magnolia though for having a good game that night.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 13, 2023, 11:49:54 PM

Speaking of Carmelo Anthony, a last run would be great. Regardless of he's lacking defense, that's not important and matters since after all, he can contribute on the offense effectively and it's not that he will play over 10 minutes or even just sit him on the bench. Just one last run and that's it. After all, when teams signed him before, it's not that you can expect Melo to play defense at that point of his career.

Hopefully, Chris Paul's hopes to have Melo on their team will be granted.
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling safer than before ? on: February 13, 2023, 11:40:23 PM

Saying gambling is safe today would be subjective regardless of the era and generation.

Gambling, in general, should be safe but we don't know what will happen in the future while we gamble. Just hope though that no such thing as worst case-scenario will happen along the way. There might be really some gambling-related crimes that will happen but that is something that can't be avoided.

Hope for the best indeed that we won't experience such a situation related to gambling.

719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: February 13, 2023, 12:20:54 AM
About the weight division, it is really a surprise that Thurman agreed to the demand of Spence to fight in Junior Middleweight[1] when the World Boxing council ordered Errol Spence Jr. to defend the title against Thurman[2].  I wonder what drives Thurman to accept the fight in that division.

From my point of view, Keith Thurman is really one of the possible boxers that Errol Spence might fight next, but on 147.

Yeah it is Thurman's turn to fight against Spence since the WBC had already ordered Spence to defend the title, and they should be fighting at 147 and yet they agreed on 154 making WBC authority a joke.

Since Spence considered moving up at 154 and Thurman as well, they decide instead to let the fight happen at 154 instead.

Anyways, their fight at 154 is a "NON-TITLE" bout and just about money-making lol.

Yeah, the fight is all about money, lol.  If Spence considered moving up at 154, does it means the 147 WBC title is vacated?  I think WBC should declare the welterweight Title is vacant since Spence moved up to 154 lbs.  And making Spence pay for taking the council lightly.

Technically speaking, if the boxer moved up, they will definitely have to give up their hold belts and make it vacant.

But it should be noted too these boxers are allowed to fight at the said moved-up division and just decide to stay there later on. In other words, those at 147 for example, can negotiate a fight at 154 even if there's not a clear decision yet on that boxer if what division they will stay.

We will only get a clear answer from the question if whether Spence will return to 147 or continue to 154 after this fight.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 13, 2023, 12:13:51 AM
It looks like Vargas won't be moving up in weight division soon.  So it is interesting to see the outcome of the fight between Magsayo and Figueroa if Vargas will accept the winner of the fight as challenger.

No need to think if Rey Vargas will accept the winner of the Magsayo vs. Figueroa bout as a challenger because whether he likes it or not, it will be a mandatory fight for him to fight an interim champion. A mandatory title defense is really the next thing he will be assigned if he loses to Foster.

Should be an easy path to the Featherweight title for the winner of the Magsayo vs. Figueroa bout if Vargas won instead. If that the one happened instead, Vargas will surely choose to stay at 130 and vacant his 126 title giving the winner of this match to be elevated right away as a Featherweight champion.
