Erinnerungen an August/September 2017 kommen hoch Cheesy

thanks gyrsur for your gold updates, I really like them. Just one questions, do you also use the current gold price for this calculation? or is it a static gold and just the current bitcoin price?

thank you! I appreciate it.

I take the current Gold Spot Price from here:

https://www.goldcore.com/us/our-products/gold-bars/buy-400-oz-gold-bars-for-secure-non-bank-swiss-storage-london-good-delivery-bars-at-lowest-gold-prices

And divide it with the current BTC price in USD from Bitcoinaverage.com:

Anyone knows a Bitcoin block explorer that also capture the fiat value of the tx when it was created.

I paid for a service to someone but since the price is down the provider may think I paid him less ($ value) LOL

Dude, Blockchain.info has this feature. switch to your preferred currency and go with the mouse over the value button. it will shows the value at the time of the tx. and then make a screenshot.

Blockchair also shows the USD value. Here's an example transaction.

I think you guys did not understand.

I created this tx 3/4 hours ago when price was $5,4xx but now it's bitcoins is $5,108 (preev rate). The USD value now and then has chanced.

For X amount of USD, the bitcoin ($5,4xx) then was lesser than now($5,1xx).

My question was, is there are block explorer which capture the USD value of the tx when the tx was created. I hope it make sense now.

should work as you expect it. if not let us know.

thank you for unmask a scammer which build directory.io!

I did not say it was a scam - because it is not a scam.

I said it was a joke - because it is a joke.

directory.io is down, BTW. this site just created Bitcoin addresses (and private keys?) on the fly if a user requested a new page of directory.io.

let us not call it scam. instead let us call it spoofing.

Mic, is there an official thread where you should apply too? maybe this will increase your chance to become a MERIT SOURCE.

GREAT NEWS! I got contact from Chad Elwartowski (AKA Elwar) via PM earlier this morning notifying me that he and his girlfriend have been able to escape to nearby Vietnam via boat. They are in good spirits, but still are not out of the woods yet as they still need to leave the region for fear of local intergovernmental relations leading to his potential extradition back to Thailand. As a result for their own safety they will not be posting again until they are home, but he wanted me to thank all of you on his behalf for your kind words and well wishes, and said he hopes to be back on the forum posting soon. He didn't give me much other information for obvious reasons, but at least we know he has made it out of the country, which is very good news. Hopefully we can help bring awareness to this issue so others do not find themselves in a similar situation in the future. Godspeed Elwar.

What happened to puzzle transaction #55? No trophy, no collision, just on to the next one?

Also if we are checking against bloom filter of known addresses with positive balances how are we specifically targeting any particular address ie any puzzle transaction at all? Is it the complexity of the private key that is supposedly wildly basic/uncomplex and therefore most likely to be the next find?

How often is directory.io updated? I still have some pages I'd like to check but I'm about ready for some new material

Just airing out my stupid for a little bit, thanks for the smax

The puzzle transaction transactions are a known quantity.  Each one uses one more bit in the private key.  Since LBC is sequentially searching the private key space they will eventually find each puzzle transaction as they search.  Finding each one is just a benchmark as LBC progresses through the private key space, that is all.  LBC is not looking for the puzzle transactions specifically.  It is just known that they will be found and approximately how long it will be till the next one is found.

directory.io is a joke.  It is not "updated" because it does not really exist in the sense of a database.  All it does is calculate the information on the fly.  When you enter a page number it just calculates all the information for that page at the time it presents the information to you.  There is no database.   But yes, you can enter a page number and it will calculate that page for you.

thank you for unmask a scammer which build directory.io!
