Interesting developments:
I emailed Tf today and advised him that if he did not report that a crime had been committed to Australian Law Enforcement within 48hrs. that I would do so.
It was a surprise to me but he responded promptly that he would do so and followed up with a reference number filed with NSW police. Of course a group of us will follow up on this to make sure law enforcement follows through on all aspects!

What will be the regulatory challenges in Chicago? Have you spoken to a lawyer yet?
Unknown at this time. I have spoken with the Illinois department of finance who has referred my licensing and regulatory questions to their legal department secondary to the novelty of bitcoin as a currency. At the very least, in order to establish the atms the LLC will have to be a MSB under FinCEN and maintain a money transmitter license with the state of IL. I am a lawyer and will also be engaging outside counsel in order to ensure all regulatory issues are complied with. You are a lawyer? Great. How can I validate that? The biggest hurdle to any Bitcoin company in the USA now is the regulatory issues. Good luck. |

In an IRC conversation between me and Graet, playing proxy between myself and Ukyo, I was told that Ukyo would make a statement to either myself personally or to the public today. Based on the nature of that conversation I fully expect Ukyo to follow through and provide a statement of some form. Sadly, I have no insight into what said statement may include.

They just told me i can not get any of my bitcoins unless I get verified (coins they gladly took without verification), which in absolutely impossible for me, as I live on-the=road and off-the-grid.
So, they changed their rules, without notification, and now that have my coins... forever.
How many other people are having to deal with this bullshit from MtGox?
Personally, i do not believe them... I think they are just making a grab for a bunch of bitcoins that they know many people will never be able to get again, thanks to their new Orwellian policies.
Stay away from MtGox, and spread the word.

I wanna tell and here my story. I sent 4400 euro to Bitstamp on 11 november. They receive my money on 12 november (i know this because i have delivery receipt issued from my Ing Bank office). After all this time Bitstamp dont put my money on balance. I sent them alot of emails and tickets and no one cant tell me why they dont give my money. So i personally cant trust this exchange anymore. Bitcoin is 800$ now. So who will pay my time and all money i loosed because of them?!!
First Ukyo, then TF at inputs, now Bitstamp? the media is gonna have a party. |
