16861  Economy / Securities / Re: Why Do You Invest? on: June 25, 2014, 06:21:27 PM
Valuing these offerings over time in BTC is idiotic...  Valuing 99.9% of the things on this planet in BTC over time will result in them looking like they have lost a ton of value when in fact they have not...  There is a reason that while Bitcoin is accepted as a means of exchange, things are still priced in USD.  By your account, buying a home, stocks, gold, dollars, etc, would have all been horrible "investments" due to their lack of performance against Bitcoin.  I really wish idiots that didn't understand simple accounting would stop pretending to be intelligent investors and accept that they are shills hiding behind a veil of idiocy to further an agenda.

Using your line of thinking, any IPO that happened around the $1,000/BTC mark should look like an amazing investment now, even if all they did was take your BTC and hold it in USD.  Obviously only an idiot would think that an entity actually gained value with that course of action.

You ask why people invest...  Let me answer that for you as I have decades of experience providing analysis to investors...  Every investor I have met up until this point in my life would answer that question the same.  People invest to make dollars.  Now, stop pretending to be an idiot and go take the time to do the actual numbers including the average prices paid at the exchange rates during the time if you want to provide numbers with any kind of meaning behind them.  Otherwise, congratulations on a good troll.  It seems with your centralized exchange dying a slow painful manipulated death, you are upset to the point where you are just lashing out.  Given your legal circumstances and lack of maturity, I can understand your position and look forward to watching the continued deterioration of your mental state.

I will verify these coins are legit.

16863  Economy / Securities / Re: [NastyFans.org] NASTY MINING | POOL | COINS on: June 25, 2014, 08:38:20 AM
Can you switch to BTCGuild??

The site is down again, but I will eventually post all the pools and we can see if there is a transparent and free option.

Hey OG, when did you originally place your order with BFL?

The 5 Monarchs we are currently getting cloud mining for were ordered about 30 minutes after they began taking preorders.  The remaining 4 were ordered over the next 3 days and I haven't received any communication on them yet.
16864  Economy / Collectibles / Re: NASTY MINING presents... 1oz Silver Physical NastyFans Seats! on: June 25, 2014, 06:07:16 AM
Most definitely.  Are you the creator of http://casascius.uberbills.com ?  If so, I am a fan.

While nonnakip is planning on putting a NastyFans Bitcoin Analyzer together for us eventually, there are quite a few things above it on the to-do list.  I think a 3rd party analyzer would actually be great even if we did create our own, as it would be the first time a 3rd party developed software for NastyFans, which I would love to encourage.  Smiley

That is correct. If you can get me a list of the public addresses, I can start running the scans and whip up an interface. Can you post some high-res pics of the coin as well? Smiley

I'll check on getting you the list.  I only have my phone's camera though.  Anyone out there with one of these coins and a good camera that feels like posting some pictures?

I refuse to give money for what are essentially stolen coins.

Best response to the situation that I have read.

Bought one. Still looking for 2 more.

What price did you pay?  I've only seen 1 of these sell for under 25 BTC and it was an auction that nobody knew was happening (or I'd own it).  I see all the bumps, but no price offers and nobody posting any interest.  A bit curious who sold you one...  Looking forward to seeing pics when you receive it.

Be sure to take a look inside your units and capture pictures of built up dust when you receive them.  I'd love to see a comparison of a unit coming directly from BA as opposed to MS.

...I activated the offer and we are currently mining 3TH/s on Eclipse...

I don't know anything about Eclipse.  Anyone know if there is a public link to view the status? Also anyone know about how often Eclipse 'pays out'?

I looked into it, but the way their cloudhashing is setup, you don't actually use a username/password combination so there is no tracking of the stats possible.  It does look like they haven't yet found a block since we've been mining, but I am watching https://eclipsemc.com to see when a block is found and what our payout will be.

EDIT:  We have been hashing with no issues on Eclipse, but after looking more into it, I am concerned by the 5% fee, lack of transparency with the current setup, and sudden bad luck that the pool is having.  As a result, I have switched our cloud mining to a pool that I am able to monitor.  I can now confirm via a 3rd party that BFL is providing us the promised hashrate.  Hopefully that puts some skeptics to rest.  I am still pushing them to add NastyPool, or at the very least the ability to enter information to mine on any P2Pool node.

Take a look at this: https://nxtforum.org/nxt-promotion/%28video%29-nxt-how-does-it-work/
and drop us a line if you're interested in that kind of style.

Not bad.  This is similar to what I had in mind and very professionally done.  My only thoughts would be that I want something a little less professional and a little more cartoonish.  However, it seems you have the abilities from watching this video.  I would be interested in discussing pricing and ideas with you.

My marketing agency and I can certainly help you.

With us, you gain the team of a marketer, animator, graphic designer and copywriter.

You can view our website here:

If you are interested I can PM examples

The only thing that scares me about your marketing agency is that I have never heard of any of your clients or seen any marketing for them.

This is a Facebook post from today

"Minersource.net We did not ship any units yesturday, only a few local pickups. First units will be shipped to customers today, continuing for the next 2 weeks or till everyone has their unit.
Like · 1 · 2 hours ago"

Seems like the majority will not receive X-1's until at least 1 more difficulty change.

Is this only for the X-1's or are they finally going to be shipping the X-3's as well?  What if an order has both X-1's and X-3's?  Are they waiting to ship the entire order together, or sending out what they can as they have it built?
16872  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 0.1 BTC Silver Casascius Coin on: June 24, 2014, 10:07:53 AM
Og - are you shipping from U.S.?

Yes, sir.  Although I will ship outside the US as well for a small additional fee.
16873  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 5 BTC Casascius Coin (repackaged, slabbed, loadable) on: June 24, 2014, 10:04:09 AM
Are you not using the mini private key?

Nope.  I don't get a warm fuzzy feeling from mini-keys and won't rely on them in my products.
16874  Economy / Services / Looking for a Video Creator to Make Informational Cartoon Style Video... on: June 24, 2014, 10:01:27 AM
I've seen several sites now with cool informational videos like the famous - What is Bitcoin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Um63OQz3bjo

I would like to have something similar created for NastyFans.org.  If you are capable and interested, please drop me a PM.

Another great video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=GmOzih6I1zs

EDIT:  I have access to a recording studio and talent to do the voiceover, but lack the ability to produce a video to my standards without using a template or cheesy video creation site.
16875  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 0.1 BTC Silver Casascius Coin on: June 24, 2014, 05:00:03 AM
offering .25

I would not sell it for double that price.
16876  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 5 BTC Casascius Coin (repackaged, slabbed, loadable) on: June 24, 2014, 04:46:33 AM
The private key is printed in its entirety in the below format.  Under each security hologram you will find a folded piece of paper resembling the below image.  If for some reason the folded paper is separated during removal of the hologram, the order to enter the key can be identified by the dots on the top of the printout, with the single dot side being entered before the double dot side.  Smiley

Here's a better look at the hologram:

No word if this 3TH/s will be increased to our full 9TH/s as they are able to bring more equipment online or not.

Now that I think about it...  The very first order we placed was for 5 Monarchs.  If they are giving 600GH/s to each Monarch order as compensation, the 3TH/s makes perfect sense.  Our other orders were staggered over the next few days, so I imagine we may get another couple TH/s as they work their way through the orders.
16878  Economy / Securities / Re: [NastyFans.org] NASTY MINING | POOL | COINS on: June 23, 2014, 09:15:27 PM
I received the following email from BFL:

Quote from: Butterfly Labs
Thanks for being a Butterfly Labs customer. Your patience and loyalty are greatly appreciated.

While we wait for the 1TH revision of the PCB to make it through manufacturing, we have a supply of boards that do not meet the desired specs and thus are not suitable to be shipped directly to customers. However, with this limited quantity of boards, we can deliver processing power remotely to some customers.

Although we are under no legal obligation to do so, as a courtesy to customers who have been waiting the longest, we will provision these boards in a hosted environment (BFL Cloud Mining facilities), equal to the original processing power you ordered. Cloud Mining will be deployed in queue order and since you are receiving this email, you are eligible at no cost to you (we pick up the tab for hosting and electricity). Once the new 1TH boards arrive and assembly and delivery has begun, we will ship your full original order plus previously announced upgrade, and free Cloud Mining will be terminated.

I activated the offer and we are currently mining 3TH/s on Eclipse which is the default pool for their cloud mining service.  No word if this 3TH/s will be increased to our full 9TH/s as they are able to bring more equipment online or not.

Their Cloud Mining website states:

Quote from: BFL Cloud Mining
Pool not listed?
If the pool you wish to mine to is not listed here, please send your suggestion through the Contact Us link and we will evaluate adding it to the list.

I have emailed office@butterflylabs.com the link to this thread as well as letting them know that we have been longtime supporters and requested that they add NastyPool to the list of possible Cloud Mining options.  I imagine if they were willing, this would be a pretty big boost to NastyPool.  If anyone else is benefiting from their Cloud Mining offer, make sure to let them know that you'd rather be mining on NastyPool.   Smiley

Yes, the promo is still active.  To claim, just make a max bet wager on any of the 4 wagers.  Then reply to this thread with your transaction ID.  I will refund up to a max of 0.01BTC.
