The last few auctions went for really cheap, I hope they didn't go under.

I thought you weren't allowed to sell beer across state lines -- there's some stupid middle men involved for distributing beer.

hi guys im here to purchase any usb asicminers people don't want I am not willing to pay high prices. At this current stage and time your asic miners make
a day = 0.0087 btc week = 0.0609 btc month = 0.261 btc
the current hardware breakeven point for your 2 btc miner is 1 year and 117 days. The average price for miners are price up what they can make in 10 days.
this would equate to 0.087 btc.
This is the price the usb asicminer should be priced at 0.087. Any one willing to sell PM or leave a post on here and ill get back to you
Sounds good, this should apply to video cards as well -- I would like to buy a 7970 for 0.17 BTC

Yes you could do that, you could also import it into the blockchain.info online wallet and then send it to a new address.

It's counting the number of days you've been posting instead of # of posts.
Ah, ok, that's interesting...but are you 100% sure about this...? Yes, it's just rounded to every 2 weeks. Everyone is a multiple of 14.

It's just the number of days since you've registered.
No, its not. Sure it is, it's just rounded up to 2 weeks.

Hopefully you did not transfer many BTC.
Did you do a backup before using your wallet?
cp1 said: "You should be able to copy your whole multibit folder". Did you do this?
yes I did do this, but I don't know why it really matters since I have the private key Because there's something messed up with the blockchain you've downloaded because it's not showing the correct balance.
|
|
|
When you're sure that you've backed up properly try deleting the multibit folder after uninstalling, then reinstall.
|
|
|
I am completely new to all this, but I will take a look on how to do this.
edit: How do I backup everything?
You should be able to copy your whole multibit folder (the one with your wallet file) -- just in case you screw something up you can easily replace it.

And yeah, my total usage for the month so far is 3500kw, sorry...yeah drop the h.
Total energy usage should be in kWh. kW is your instantaneous power usage.
|
|
|
A watt is a unit of power, that is energy use per second. So if you multiply watts * time you get total energy use.
My computer uses 1000W of power. That is 1000J / sec, which tells us the rate of use of energy. Over an hour it will use a total of 1000W * 1 hr of energy, that is 1000Wh or 1 kWh. If you run your 1000W computer for a month it will use 1000W * # of hours in a month. Since there are about 720 hours in a month that computer will use 720kWh total energy.
An average home uses 500 - 600 kWH of energy in a month, an energy efficient home uses about half of that.

What if you export your keys, backup everything, reinstall multibit and import your keys again?

It looks like it's passive, as in doesn't need external power. But it's obviously not as simple as a Y-connector.
