1701  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we experience $80k this year? on: March 07, 2023, 03:00:11 PM
Since the year started with a good results by moving from $20k to $24k this year, show that the price of BTC and crypto will move higher to satisfy investors soon. Now that the month is moving faster and investors need to think faster so that they will not miss their reward at the end of the year. The price of BTC just drop down to $22k few days ago, which is another opportunity for those that missed last year not to invest in a stable coins to do it now because, the price of BTC will surely reach $80k before the end of this year 2023.
Are you sure investors will experience $80 this year?

The current price for bitcoin is still relatively low and I don't believe it will double overnight. This is the third month of the year and bitcoin price is still $22k. This year will certainly be better than last year but it won't get to $80K. I have seen one analysis that says bitcoin will beat its ATH this year but I highly doubt that. Bitcoin might peak at $30k this year at best it might be 35-40k. We have to keep investing and keep trusting in bitcoin, it will beat the ATH of 2021 but we have to be patient.
1702  Economy / Economics / Re: War: who benefits and how! on: March 07, 2023, 01:51:09 PM
War is one thing that no society should engage themselves into as its effect is devastating and unforgettable upon generations. When two or more countries are warring it is said that there are other countries that benefits in one way or the other from the war as it prolongs and intensifies, especially economical benefits is one of such.
The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine which has been on for almost a year now and the effects of the war between these two is not only on the two warring countries alone but has gone so far as affecting the economies of many countries of the world that have no involvement or interference in the said war. countries of Europe are experiencing a fall short in gas supply, while those of Africa and other continent suffer from economic downfall as a result of certain products and services that are no longer in-coming due to the war effect.
With this Russia Ukraine war which the effect is felt in almost all parts of the world directly and indirectly, I want to ask are there beneficiaries to this war and in what ways are they benefiting from it.

Its usually weapon manufacturers but in the case of the Russia-Ukraine war Oil companies are also big beneficiaries of the war. With the ban on Russia  most of Asia and Europe looked to Gulf countries for oil supply. We aw the surge in gas prices all over the world. The Oil companies and Oil producing countries stand to gain from that.
In the weeks following Russia's invasion of Ukraine we also saw the stock of top defense companies like Lockheed Martin increase by 20%. This shows how much these companies make from these wars.
Pharmaceutical companies also benefits to an extent in wars like this. there are also risk to it but its highly profitable to these companies.
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 06, 2023, 08:39:16 PM
Dortmund's performance has been very good these past few weeks, so it's no wonder why they have succeeded in being ranked 2nd in the current Bundesliga standings and have the same points as Bayern. Bayern must win all matches that will occur in the future, because even a small mistake can blind their position to be shifted by Dortmund. next week dortmund will face schalke, it seems schalke is not a difficult opponent for dortmund.

As much as I admire Dortmund for what they have achieved so far this season I'm still having doubt that they can actually win the Bundesliga title. At this point in the league they need a lot of consistency and concentration. They will also be in a lot of pressure to gather the most points they can from every league match they play. Bayern Munich on the other hand are used to this type of pressure. They can be inconsistent all season but when it gets to the point that really matters, they deliver, I cant say the same for Dortmund.
I'm not saying its impossible for Dortmund to win the league, I'm only saying they need to be better than Bayern if they want to win the league. They cant afford to slip up at all because a single mistake and we will see Bayern running away with league as they usually. It would really please me to see Dortmund win the league after such a long time.
1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: March 06, 2023, 08:30:28 PM
I wonder what Chelsea are going to do if they do not fire Potter they will probably finish below 10th if they continue in current form but if they fire him who do they replace him with? I think any one at this point might be a good temp replacement because they cannot continue to lose all these games. They have players that should be challenging for the top 4 but it looks like the players do not want to play for Potter and he has lost the dressing room.

I've said it times without number on here that the only way Chelsea can have any hope of having a good season is if the fire Potter. Chelsea will still be bad if they give Potter 10 more seasons, there is no point in giving him time. His team plays too poorly, they can't score goals, they cant create chances. If I were Chelsea, I will sack him before the end of the season so the new manager will have enough time with his team. They better not make the mistake of keeping him on till next season because it will equally be like this season. When you see a coach that needs time you will know by the way his team plays and the motivation of player. Its sad to say that you can't seen any of that from this Chelsea squad.
1705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 06, 2023, 02:10:27 PM
None predicted it to happen. I thought that if MU would be dominating liverpool but the opposite thing happened since liverpool was always making counter attack. MU has been making so many blunders which lead to the so many goals that already made by liverpool. There's something wrong with manchester united. It looks like that so many MU players are losing their spirit to continue the match. From here, we can take a conclusion that if the standing didn't matter a lot and liverpool proves it to be even better than MU even though if liverpool was still under manchested united at this moment.

If I was given a hundred guesses I would never have guessed that scoreline. It's still unbelievable to me. I was shocked. I thought I had seen it all at 3-0, I didn't know Liverpool were just getting started. What makes it more unbelievable is the fact that Man United were the most in form team in the league after Arsenal. They've been improving well and playing well. They've began to understand each and understand what their coach wants from them, then yesterday happened. I feel United were getting over confident and that led them to loose concentration. They underrated Liverpool because even when they were losing 1-0 at half time they didn't seem worried. I guess they thought themselves invisible.
There's every possibility that this result may affect them against Real Betis. I've been saying it since that United should not underrate Betis. This loss to Liverpool can either be a wake up call or a season ruiner.
1706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 06, 2023, 09:05:19 AM
Currently the result of the victory from Juventus has made Roma able to be in 4th place but there are still a lot of matches left, anything is still very possible, moreover, ranks 2 to 5 have a very thin point difference, which is why every week we will always see changes, especially fourth these teams often get results that are different from what was predicted, Inter and AC Milan can lose to any team as well as Rome can lose to the team that is at the bottom also Lazio who is able to beat Napoli so changes in ranking except for the first position we will always see every time week's game is over

This is what is exciting about the Serie A this season. I have even said it that the Serie A is the most exciting of the top 5 European leagues this season. The difference between the second position and the fifth position is just 3 points. In one match week we can see Inter Milan that is second drop to the fifth position. It's very unpredictable this time around. The only team you can really bet on is Napoli and even them lost this past week which is a normal thing. You don't expect them go the rest of the season without dropping points. I believed Juventus would win Roma yesterday or at least get a draw but it turned out that Juventus couldn't get a goal despite playing arguably better.
I like the fact that Napoli are miles ahead of the other teams, there would be too much pressure on them if they were like three or four points ahead.
1707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 06, 2023, 05:46:17 AM
Real Madrid pushed hard but couldn't score. Betis defended well and gained 1 point. Benzema's free kick goal was great, but because the ball hit Rüdiger's hand, VAR canceled the goal. It's not enough to play well all the time, it's necessary to score goals. If you fail to do this, you cannot get 3 points.
Although it was a goalless match, it was a high pleasure to watch. It was definitely not a boring match. Especially the last minutes were very exciting.
Before the match, I thought about taking the over 2.5 goals bet, but then I decided not to play. Good thing I didn't bet on that. Grin
Real Madrid fell further behind in the title race. Barcelona made 9 points gap and reached a comfortable position. After that, Real Madrid didn't have the luxury of losing points.

Both teams played well and there should be at least 2 goals in this kind of marches. It just surprises me how a game like this ended in a scoreless draw. It's a game where both team were not totally defensive and even when either teams was defensive for a minute they are usually very dangerous on the counter attack.
The draw itself didn't surprise me, I know the kind of team Betis is and they are always likely to cause trouble for teams, it's the fact that there were no goals in the match.

With yesterday's results I think Madrid should forget about the league because Barcelona have suffered through a difficult period and they somehow managed to extend the lead, thanks to Madrid's inconsistency. Now all Barcelona players are returning and that will only make them stronger.
1708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 05, 2023, 09:20:06 PM
In my opinion PSG can still perform very well without Neymar, with Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe available for the match against Bayern Munich I believe PSG will cause much problems for their opponent. Bayern Munich playing at home seem to have an advantage in this meeting but I am expecting a hungry PSG team to be the better side on match day.

I agree with you. Messi and Mbappe are having a good connection both on and off the pitch and that's good news for PSG. PSG's problem has never been the attack but their midfield. They have too many average players in that midfield. A team like PSG shouldn't have that kind of midfield.
Another thing is, hope their coach don't make wrong decisions on the players and formation to use like he did in the first leg. It's a must win match and he has to start with his best players. If Messi and Mbappe are in beast mode on that match day then Bayern Munich will be in a lot of trouble.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 05, 2023, 09:14:49 PM
I'm still in shock, I can't believe the scoreline. Liverpool is going to savour this moment because it's not every time you get to see such a scoreline. This would gone down as Manchester United's worst performance under ETH. I don't really know where to start to a portion blame for today's lackluster display, the team needs to take the blame, it was a really poor game especially the second half. They really need to shake off this defeat and focus on their midweek europa game against Real Beatis. A win would help to sooth the pains they have inflicted in the hearts of the fans.

It's just embarrassing. I honestly did not see this coming. I expected it to be a close game of long term fierce rivals but it turned out to be like a training match for Liverpool. Manchester United were awful. How can you be 1-0 down to your fiercest rivals and your laughing at halftime. That was a hall of Fame performance in terms of awful performance. Unbelievable! Ten Hag too was clueless. He watched his team getting butchered and he couldn't do anything. He just watched. All the players lost their head. I guess Manchester United were getting too over confident. They thought they'll come back and win easily when they were 1-0 down. They lost their nerve when the second goal went in and it all went downhill from there.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 05, 2023, 02:25:20 PM
Liverpool vs. Manchester United is going to be an intriguing match because both teams are in good form and it will be a battle of legends. Liverpool has incredible players like Mohammed Salah and Fabinho, while Manchester has Rashford and Casemiro who won't be absent for any reason. However, it's difficult to predict who will win the match outright because I have a strong feeling about one team. and surprisingly the game might end draw.

Manchester United is in better form than Liverpool right now. Liverpool have been very poor this season while the opposite is the case for Man United. United keeps improving daily and they keep playing better. Manchester United are clearly the better side and should win the match but because of the strong rivalry between both teams it would be difficult to predict the winner. When fierce rivals play, it's always a different ball game. Both teams play with all their heart just to have that bragging right. We saw what happened between Madrid and Barcelona. By all right Madrid should have won that game but Barcelona played with everything they had and refused Madrid a single shot on target. Same thing could happen today. We could see a different Liverpool team today. Either way, I know it won't be an easy win for United, it never is with Liverpool.
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 05, 2023, 05:25:07 AM
Manchester United needs Osimhen. Osimhen needs Manchester United. Since he has experienced Serie A football, he should come to the Preimer League and experience it too and develop himself there. I can imagine him and Rahy in a counter attack and in the 18 yard box of the opponent. Osimhen in Manchester United will be like Haaland in Manchester City. The Unique thing about this duos is their lack of skillfullness but defineitely super brilliant clinical finishing. We'll see where he goes next season.

I would not go to Manchester United if I was Osimhen. That can put a lot of unnecessary pressure on him. Manchester United need a striker that is not only a good goal scorer but also technical. A striker that can drop deep to the midfield when the game is hard and support his teammates. Osimhen is kind of like a traditional top striker, just like Halland. Those kind of players require special kind of management before they could perform well at top level. Ten Hag does not play with those kind of strikers, he loves everybody to be involved in the build up of the game. Manchester United should go all out for Harry Kane.
1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 05, 2023, 05:01:28 AM
Does he have anything to save? I mean, there's nothing to kick him off the team for. Maybe he didn't take first place in the league or win the Champions League, but not everything depends on him, a lot depends on the players too. That is, as a coach, he does his job very well and I see no reason to change the coach. Another thing if they were in the 5th place in the league for example

Going a whole season without a trophy is definitely reason enough for Madrid to sack their coach. There are already talks about his sack amongst the fanbase. One of the factors that can determine his sack is if he doesn't win Barcelona in any of the two remaining classicos of the reason. It may sound silly but they take that rivalry seriously. And to be honest, Madrid are not really playing very well. Against Barcelona they couldn't get a single shot on target at home, that's a very bad stat for a team like Madrid. Ancelotti"s job is on the line and he knows it. It is not a certainty that he will be sacked if he doesn't win a trophy this season but its a possibility.
1713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 04, 2023, 08:08:53 PM
When Atalanta played against Udinese, the fact is that they often end matches with a big score and also with both teams to score. But the bad thing is, at this moment Atalanta v Udinese ended half time without a goal and in fact, only two shots were made on target and that was only done by Atalanta, while Udinese did not.
I still hope that this match will still have the same trend as the final results in their head to head record with lots of goals created, because so far this season they have also been relatively productive in scoring goals.

Unfortunately the games ended in a goalless draw which is very disappointing. I expected a lot of goals from this match. Atalanta were suppose to win, they had so many goal scoring opportunities but they couldn't utilize it. They were the better team all round. They played better, had most of the ball but they just couldn't put the ball at the back of the net. This was Atalanta's opportunity to go above Roma on goal difference and hope that Juventus beat Roma. Now they're still two points behind Roma which is a bad place to be if they want to maintain their Europa league spot with Juventus climbing up really fast. I am also personally disappointed because I placed a bet on Atalanta to win but they did not win.
1714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 04, 2023, 10:45:19 AM
Real Madrid are going on incredibly great in the Champions League. Their performance is much more impressive than they have in the La Liga now. That victory over Liverpool is really hard to forget. Because it was a really huge win in Anfield which I assume not many people would have expected such result. Ancelotti is like he is motivating the players specially for the Champions League right now.

After Barcelona have increased the point gap with them in the La Liga maybe Ancelotti just wanted to focus on the Champions League title more. Real Madrid are a winner team and they wouldn't accept a season without title. I know that there is Copa del Rey going on as well but it isn't as valuable as the Champions League.

Real Madrid in Europe are something else. They are a different team once it gets to the UCL, they play like their life depends on it. For me the champions league is the only opportunity for a silverware this season. Although they are still in the Copa del rey, I doubt they would come out victorious after losing the first leg to Barcelona. I'm saying this because the second leg of the Copa del rey will be on the 5th of April and by then all of the Barcelona player that were missing for the first leg will be available and the second leg would be at the Spotify Camp Nou. Barcelona have been good at home this season. As for the league, Madrid chances of overtaking Barcelona is very slim, not impossible though but very slim. If Barcelona don't slip up then there will be nothing for Madrid in the league.
In the champions league, a lot of big teams are not at their 100% and Madrid can take on any of them on their day. So the champions league is relatively easier to win for Madrid than the league this season. I don't see any of the teams left in the champions league stopping Madrid but I guess that's the beauty of the game, any team can knock out any team.
1715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 04, 2023, 06:19:57 AM
Barcelona will not give out their opportunity of becoming the La Liga champions once again.
If they would want to do it is not at this time that they are already close to Success.
The major factor that can make Barcelona to lose the title race to Real Madrid is injury.
But looking at the current squad of Barcelona, you will understand that almost all the players are available.

Barcelona players are not available. Most of their best players are out injured. They are without Lewandoski, Dembele, Pedri, Christensen and Gavi for the match against Valencia tomorrow due to a suspension. They are just seven points ahead of Madrid at the moment and a loss to Valencia will reduce that to four points if Madrid wins against Betis. Now here is the tricky part, Barca will play Bilboa next and we all know how much of a pain in the ass Bilboa can be to Barcelona. After Bilboa they will play Real Madrid. So if Barcelona don't handle the next three matches they have very well they could find themselves just one point ahead of Madrid or worst, below Madrid. They can only hope for Madrid to keep been inconsistent in the league.
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 04, 2023, 06:08:10 AM
Something tells me the Manchester vs Newcastle game is going to end in a draw. Early kick off in the premier league is always a funny fixture. We know Newcastle have not gotten a win in any of their last four league games but we also know they are okay with getting draws. They were able to draw three of those four matches they couldn't win. They will not play Man City with respect, that's for sure. They'll play like they want to win. Newcastle have a goal scoring problem. They hardly score more than two goals in a match, in fact, most of their matches recently they've scored only one goal. The good thing is, they don't concede many goals either. They do not concede more than two goals too as we can see from the two recent matches they lost. The bad news is, the last tie they conceded more than two goals in a match was against Manchester City and the match ended in 3-3 draw. Despite Man City been a side that can score goals on their day, I don't think this is going to be one of those matches where they will just score as much as they want. Even if there will be a winner, the goals in this match are going to be very few.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 04, 2023, 05:45:22 AM
I think PSG may likely play with the big players just to secure a win in the first half or at least score multiple goals before making substitutions to avoid injury on the players but also they need to win in their match between them and Nantes in order to keep the gap between them and Marseille same as 5 points otherwise they will find it difficult to win the French Ligue1.

I think it's going to be the decision of the coach to either reserve Messi and Mbappe as you earlier said to avoid more injury crises that may affect them in the returning leg between them and Bayern Munich which is a must win for them to move to the next round or  win in the League and lose in the big match which I doubt if that's going to happen.

PSG is a big team and they play Nantes who have not been very good this season. PSG will play Bayern Munich in a must win game on Wednesday as you said, my point is, this is the kind of match a big team like PSG should rest its big players. They should be able to rest their players and still win Nantes comfortably. Seeing that this is a problem for them (resting big players and winning Nantes comfortably) goes on to show how unprepared they are. They've got all the money in the world but don't know how to use it. How can you spend so much money on three players alone knowing fully well it will hinder you from strengthening other part of the squad. They have a very good attack but the attack is not the only position on the field. Their midfield is bang average. For a team as rich as PSG, Marco Verratti is the only world class midfielder they have and he's injury prone. PSG need to sit up and fix their squad if they really want to win the champions league they want so much.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 02, 2023, 06:33:57 PM
~snip~
Before now Manchester United have been in a very poor state despite having the greatest player of all time present in the team but just few months after Ronaldo's departure to Saudi squad, Ten Hag has managed to turn things around and even going ahead to win the league cup, I know many people will begin to say Ronaldo was the problem in the team judging from what they have been able to achieve after his departure.

What happened to United, not only thanks to the players who appear impressive. but thanks to the touch of Erik Ten Hag, The Red Devils were able to bring United much better. actually Ten Hag wants Ronaldo to stay in his project. but because Ronaldo has an ego that is too high, in the end Ten Hag prefers to make him a second tier player.

But, after the departure of Ronaldo, The Red Devils appeared very impressive. the system that Ten Hag implemented, gradually worked as it should. plus, Casemiro's presence awakens the overall mentality of the team. which in the end, The Red Devil is in On Fire performance. so, it's only natural that United are currently one of the strong challengers in the race for the Europa League trophy. it's just, like I said before. that their journey to win this competition title, is not easy. in fact, with the busy schedule they have it can have an impact on decreasing the team's overall performance.

Ronaldo might be egoistic but it was disrespectful dropping him off for others to play and with the approach of the world cup Ronaldo was doing all he could to be fit and ready for the world cup bit really didn't end well with Ronaldo and Manchester United.
It's good they picked up bit Ronaldo had not been a problem rather he has been such a big influence to other players. Some United players wanted him out.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 02, 2023, 05:22:25 PM
It looks like the match between Real Madrid v Barcelona in the Copa del Rey today will not have many goals because even if I check from the betting options about over 2.5 goals and the odds are quite high at around @2.00. Even if I didn't check those options, I'm sure this Real Madrid v Barcelona match is likely to have a lot of goals, it's also about both teams to score.

But yes, anything can happen and even though the bookies estimate the match will be minimal in goals, I still believe in my assessment that this match will have at least three goals or maybe more because both teams are very productive.

Both Barcelona and Real Madrid found it difficult to score in the last match, Almeria and also Atletico Madrid. The former performance and productivity, and also stat matters they need to be checked and as I did too your correct the game will not see too many goals.
Barcelona also will be without big names Lewandoski Pedri Dembele so they can't win Madrid it will be hard. Both Sides can score tonight

It looks like this news will become a reality for Manchester City if they don't get Bellingham then their last option is Kovacic. But if we talk about Bellingham going to Real Madrid of course it's a very good move, maybe he wants to win the UCL title if he joins Los Blancos instead of having to join Manchester City. Moreover, the future of his career will be much brighter if he joins Real Madrid.
Real Madrid is a big club and Jude Bellingham will quickly grow into a world figure in football joining Real Madrid than any English club. Manchester City are expecting Barcelona to come for Bernando Silva, so maybe they are trying to already start preparing a replacement. Jude Bellingham is not the only midfielder that Real Madrid are interested in, Los Blancos are also interested in Bruno Guimaraes the Brazilian from Newcastle.

source

Both Beenado Silva and Gundogan have been eyed as players they will like to make Barcelona player's. For Jude Bellingham it is either Liverpool or Real Madrid movement to Manchester City or Manchester United won't be possible. Bruno Guimaraes just recently moved to Newcastle moving Madrid will not happen. And Real Madrid does not need another defensive midfielder right now, they need a central midfielder who can replace Modric.
