They are getting far away from the champions league ... while as roma getting comfortable at the top 4 for a while now , as usual a negative football style from jose mourinho , having only a couple attempts only ... as roma successfully converted it into a goal and win it in style.

Roma only managed to get a 1-0 win over Juventus, They should still have the opportunity to make a draw, but the time is gone so that Juventus cannot get the opportunity to reply and make a draw. Too bad Juventus may not be able to enter the top five of the standings.

Actually, even though they managed to win them, they would not be able to immediately be in the top 5, but with this uncertainty their points were a little disturbed. Their opponent is Sampdoria, I don't think it will be too difficult even though they have to think of ways to face Freiburg first.

I have never seen any club successfully appeal their sanctions after all. Yes, this case really shouldn't be compared. Inter managed to secure 3 points at home against Lecce and this result made them shift back to Lazio's position which was previously in 2nd place in the standings. Statistically, Inter really dominated the match and 4 shots on target resulted in 2 goals for Inter's victory.

AC Milan falls to a fifth position even they have same point as AS Roma but with a little less goal difference. The top four race looks like to have less competitors after this week. Atalanta and Juventus mostly said good bye to the race especially Juventus.

The race is still opened for all clubs from Inter Milan, Lazio, Roma and AC Milan. Atalanta still have chance but if they continue bad form, they will see that chance vanishes soon.

You can't blame Mourinho and you should actually not really call it a bad style. I know what you mean for sure, but the thing is that Mourinho is known for his style for decades now. No team should ever be surprised anymore by the way his teams play.

If Mourinho did not let his teams play attacking football with so many star players in Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham, it's unrealistic to want him doing this in Roma with very limited player resource.

I don't understand why they let Zaniolo go to Turkey and why that player chose to move like this. It is better for Italy and himself if he continues in Roma or moves to another Italian club.

Milan's opportunity to qualify for the Champions League is still quite open, because they only have one to two points difference from Roma and Lazio, I still doubt Lazio even though they are currently in third place in the standings.

There are 12 points gap. These gaps will be so difficult to be reached if juventus got lose. The chance is small but it's still there. I think that ac milan needs to maintain its position by winning more and more match. Juventus has no choice other than focusing into the upcoming match. Juventus will be also playing in europa league against weak tea. UCL has become a priority for juventus to got the end of this season.

Roma was always under pressure but with only a few chances and roma was not missing an opportunity to win the game. The mentality owned by roma's players are very strong against juventus.

It was a much better game for Juventus in general actually. Especially the second half was under Juventus' domination but this wasn't still enough for any point. That goal by Mancini was enough for Roma to get the 1-0 win there. This must be a really frustrating loss for Juventus as a result. Because they were having a really good time period in the league. But the winning streak was until this game I'm afraid.

There was a chance for Juventus to catch up with Atalanta more as well actually. Because Atalanta lost points against Udinese this time.

The difference in points between Atalanta and Juventus is only 7 points. and there are still many matches to be played so I think Juventus still have a chance to overtake Atalanta. even though Juventus lost to Roma in this match and failed to get points but in the next match Juventus will definitely be able to get the victory back.

because the next opponent that Juventus will face is Sampdoria. AS Roma does have the opportunity to continue to compete at the top of the standings, but sometimes the Giallorosi's performances are very disappointing and they very often throw away chances to win when dealing with mediocre teams, as last week they had to swallow the bitter pill to lose to Cremonese.

The narrow victory over Juventus is certainly something that is very important for Roma to maintain their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season. There are still plenty of games for this season. we will see these teams rotate their positions in the standings. the difference is still minimal, and their inconsistent appearance of them that makes them finally have to compete strictly to get the top 4 positions.
At the season's end, Lazio may be knocked out of the top 4. Milan will get 1 place in the Champions League.

This season has really been bad for Juventus,  no stable good performance. It is not surprising roma was able to defeat Juventus. I think Juventus can do more this, they have missed lots of opportunities to be at the top due to their poor performance. Juventus just need to learn to be consistent with good performance.

If we compared to the recent performance from these team Bologna has slightly better because they can able to earn 6 points from 3 matches and about recent conditions Bologna still cannot played Marko Arnautovic who got long injured but it won't be a problem for them because other player such as Musa Barrow can performing well as Arnautovic replacement and i have to say Barrow had important contribution for Bologna recently

For Torino after faced storm injured this team cannot performing well especially after lost Nikola Vlasic that Torino has passed 2 latest matches without him and they were losing points so after seeing these conditions which is Bologna conditions clearly better than Torino i think Bologna had good opportunities to win the match but probably with slim scores and the odds for Bologna was quite high @3.45

There are rumors that other clubs could get into trouble because of doing business with Juventus Turin. Since Juventus Turin is in trouble and all transfers get carefully scrutinized, they also investigate the parties that were involved with transfer activities with Juventus Turin. Atalanta is one of those clubs, but they refused to comment for now.

I wonder whether Juventus Turin can be any worse in conducting business and sticking to the rules than the other clubs in Europe that are suspected of breaking the rules like circumventing them by means of special accounting practices like Chelsea. Is it because those club owners are more powerful and therefore the Premier League is afraid to do something against them or is Juventus Turin really worse than them?

City seems to be in trouble for pretty similar things, and Chelsea is not in trouble right now, but they could possibly be in trouble later on when checked considering how much money they spent, Barcelona is not in points penalty type of trouble but they have so much debt, literally hundreds of millions of euros, which caused the league to limit their transfers or not register their players.

All of which caused a good amount of trouble for the teams. Barcelona is not even out of it, but they at least figured out a loophole, whereas City is patiently awaiting the decision which could be very dangerous if it is something big. So, Juventus is not alone in this.

That is what I just don't understand. The league where I would consequences expect the least (Italy) punishes their teams first for violating laws or regulations. Of course the question comes up how it is possible that all these clubs like Manchester City, PSG, Chelsea, Barcelona got away without a penalty whatsoever for all those years. Where is the detail that I am too stupid to see or understand?

I don't know whether this is more of a national thing for Juventus Turin or whether authorities or the UEFA is also involved?

Just see how Pep Guardiola reacts! He refuses to talk to anyone from the league, refuses to talk to officials, to referees, he also wants to refuse to talk to the press because they reported about Manchester City's trouble. Now when you compare his behavior with that of Allegri, how is that even acceptable? Allegri as far as I know hasn't refused to talk to anyone, but Guardiola behaves as if they were attacking him personally.

All these investigations take too long. In that regard I can understand City when something that was talked about years ago now is an issue again after many years, if I understood that correctly.

And they are still investigating Juventus Turin further for even more issues. The rules and regulations should be more standardized on be valid equally on a European level. But the rich clubs seem to always find ways to channel the money using tricks that are presumably in the grey zone. I just think that it bores me to constantly read about that stuff, but it makes me angry when one club like Juventus gets 15 points deducted while nobody else even gets a single point deducted.

This is what is exciting about the Serie A this season. I have even said it that the Serie A is the most exciting of the top 5 European leagues this season. The difference between the second position and the fifth position is just 3 points. In one match week we can see Inter Milan that is second drop to the fifth position. It's very unpredictable this time around. The only team you can really bet on is Napoli and even them lost this past week which is a normal thing. You don't expect them go the rest of the season without dropping points. I believed Juventus would win Roma yesterday or at least get a draw but it turned out that Juventus couldn't get a goal despite playing arguably better.
I like the fact that Napoli are miles ahead of the other teams, there would be too much pressure on them if they were like three or four points ahead.
