They had a huge gap in their defense and Atletico Madrid took advantage of the goal chances very efficiently. I haven't seen them scoring this many goals in one game for a long time honestly. Ancelotti should stop training the team from now IMO matches like these with small teams he couldn’t score. And what’s even worse is that Real Madrid has the best player on the world right now i bet if any other good coach has much choices as him we going to see great and better results.
Now Barcelona is taking more advantage and making the gap wider between them. 80% or more chance that Barcelona will take LaLiga this year

This is clearly a loss of course for Madrid because it is as you said, their gap in the acquisition of points with Barcelona returned away which of course is not very good for Madrid.
