Pretty interesting game between Barcelona and Manchester United. The Catalonian team started the match dominating the field and had some good goal opportunities, but United managed to get out of the bad situation in the second half after scoring two goals. Rashford scored the first one and had a crucial role for the second goal. He's in real good shape right now. Barcelona still trying to do their tiki-taka style, but they had problems in defense(mostly because of Kounde). United plays quite impressive football after "the Ronaldo drama". I would bet my money for United winning in the next game on Old Trafford.

I thought bacelona  will win the game, because when bacelona played with real Madrid last season  in laliga they played very well, and win 4:0. and before the match start yesterday I thought bacelona will win the game because of their good performance last season. I would guess that there were "some" relations to them losing and Ronaldo being there, doesn't mean that it was having to do with his talent or anything, just the trouble and the drama they had is basically the point of it. They had a lot of drama inside the team and that caused a bit of a trouble for players, even the Maguire thing could have been the reason for it as well.

Now they are a bit leaner with less players, they can give up all that drama and look at the future and how they are going to be. I am guessing that they are doing as well as hoped for and that is going to be the case for a while longer if the team stays the way it is without disturbing the roster.

I think that in terms of the overall quality of the squad and also the class of individual players, Manchester United should be one of the big favorites to win this tournament, together with Juventus, Arsenal and maybe AS Roma. That being said, i don't really know if they are really making it this far because Manchester United is a team with a very big and successful history and they are seeing themself still as a Champions League club and not a club that competes in the Europa League. So maybe the players are not as motivated going into an Europa League games as smaller clubs are. So i think the chances for those smaller clubs to win the EL are pretty realistic.
