1701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SOMA - The Social Marketplace on: October 13, 2017, 09:16:39 AM
Quote from the article : "In terms of competitors, we believe that Soma has the potential of being a disruptor across multiple dimensions, both on the traditional classifieds space, as well as marketplaces at large. For example, traditional classifieds players still operate under the same business rules as they have for the last 15 years. They are struggling to embrace new and innovative technologies and despite their massive budgets, they have yet to truly evolve their business models and are pretty much attempting to adapt a “one-size-fits-all” approach across the globe."

Pretty confident words by the SOMA devs, lets see if they can make it happen

Devs really believe in there project and they sould.
When they are convienced that it will work then the chance of its succeeding is more likely because they just dont give up.

SOMA is a strong project with great potential.
They already raised a lot so devs will make this huge together with the community.

I think that SOMA shows how confidence they are about their project, thats good for their reputation. Hopefully they will raise enough money for their platform. Thanx for the link to the article.

It's a pretty bold statement about Soma being a disruptor. I hope they will succeed. But looking at all the effort with the app already being tested etc, it looks very promising!

Such question: the manager will receive the commission from the sum of profit for the certain period of time, or the manager will receive the commission from each transaction which he makes? I think the first option, but I would like to clarify this issue.

Here's what whitepaper says: "The profit, received as a result of management of the total funds, is shared proportionally between the managers and investors. Managers receive a commission for management and a commission from the profit (success fee)".
So managers are paid not only in case of profit, they also receive some management fee in any case.
1703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🌟🌟 Datum - Unlock the Bln $$ Data Economy - ICO 29th October - 🌟🌟 on: October 12, 2017, 08:09:52 PM
It's an interesting concept but I'm not sure how will it perform against laws - seems to affect data protection in a way governments have not foreseen.

Well, there is no problem in selling personal datas if the user accepts it. The problem if the treatment or the personnal datas and the way they are recolted.

Yes but the problem is, most of the time you dont even know which data are you giving away. In the wrong hands, it can be manipulated and i am sure this is already happening.
1704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Genesis Vision - Decentralized platform for the trust management on: October 12, 2017, 08:03:47 PM
ok, the project is till a bit blurry to me.. or i'm missing something.
You guys refer to "managers" but for me a manager is head of a department within a company.
So... now I'm wondering, you buy currency from a manager because you believe in this person as a good manager?
I'm convinced that this project has a strong backbone, good development team, and a big group of believers behind it.
Just asking myself a question for each new ANN that is started, why are there so many new projects that miss out the Dutch speaking part of the world?
We might be a small part of the world, but we could make a small difference to when it comes to supporting a new coin/token release Smiley))
This said, after briefly reading the ANN and following comments, I'm sure we will hear more about this one for sure Wink

Good luck with the roadmap and I hope you guys can make it happen !

I think they're called manager because they issue a token and they become their tokens' managers. If you buy them basically you bet on that manager, obv if the manager is good enough to make profits, his/her token gain value overtime

It's almost like anywhere else, for example in a mutual fund, a manager is responsible for investing money for other people, just with cryptocurrencies.
The whitepaper should give you more information about this project, if you're interested.
1705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Genesis Vision - Decentralized platform for the trust management on: October 12, 2017, 05:12:42 PM

Four major exchanges, HitBTC and? Obviouly don't answer if you're running under a non disclosure agreement for the other three. As a COSS holder I would like see GVT listed there obv
After ICO GVT being listed on all possible exchanges and being liquid is essential for our platform operation. The thing is that exchanges doesn't do any agreements before real tokens appear, but we are working on this, to have some preliminary agreements.

There has been a lot of discussion about the exchange listing, good to hear that the work is being done in this direction! Taking into the consideration the massiveness of this project, I'm sure that won't be a problem. Good luck, Genesis Vision team!
1706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SOMA - The Social Marketplace on: October 12, 2017, 04:50:48 PM
In my country they talked about this project a lot and there are many famous people in my country who invest in this ICO project. I am sure this project will be successful because everyone has good faith in the SOMA project

Could you give me some names?
Very curious about the famous people Smiley, they should tweet about it or post about it to get this project know by much more people. This community is growing every day but the bigger the community the better the ICO will go.

Cant wait for it to start Smiley

Would that by any chance be in Finland? Because Soma is in Finland and it is the country's first blockchain startup.

Thats probably the case since every county is proud of their entrepreneur and usually get a high public support. Of course i am talking about smaller countries where successful  startups are rare. The situation is the same in my country.
1707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟[ANN][ICO]🌟 GIZER - The Global Gaming Network 🌐 ► Presale 20th Oct. 🔥 on: October 12, 2017, 04:46:07 PM
The coin has no dividends doesn't mean ico will be open for US citizens. They have some more rules to obligate for make it happen.

We can't know sure it is open for US citizens before dev announces it so wait for it.
It's possible I hope devs are in contact with US. Will be very good for ICO if US citizens are allowed.

As has been mentioned several times, we do accept US citizens into the ICO. GZR is not a security.

Its great that this ICO is available for US citizen.
US has a huge gaming market! Only 8 days left for the presale! Really hope this will go well.

I heard a lot of good things about this project, people are talking about Gizer!
Great idea!

From their point of view its good news but for investors it might be better to hold higher percatage of coins after ICO and make US citizens buy it from them and raise the value later on.
1708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: October 12, 2017, 04:41:55 PM
This project is suitable for my country, from where I come from. We have not yet paypal and probably will never be
In my country Paypal also doesn't work and this is a big problem. For example, it is problematic for me to buy goods on ebay.

As you talk about it, I just realize again that some countries don't even have the advantages which other countries have. If your country don't has Paypal, UTrust could easly build up an good userbase there. Would be a win win situation.

Yes I never knew that the majority of the world population doesnt have access to a bank account  Huh untill I read more about bitcoin. I encourage projects about online payment like Utrust.

You can't probably make people use cryptocurrency based payment sytem to people who don't even have a bank account. It's not a market utrust can take a share of it.

I didnt know Paypal doesnt work in certain counties. I guess blockchain is a perfect solution for you and Utrust should also state in their advantages, that it should be available in every country

1709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🌟🌟 Datum - Unlock the Bln $$ Data Economy - ICO 17th October - 🌟🌟 on: October 12, 2017, 04:00:27 PM
Datum is a interesting concept and icobench rated this project at 4.5 https://icobench.com/ico/datum Smiley

4.5 is a nice rating. Happy to see datum project getting the credit they deserve.

And this kind of ratings always make good impact on investors Wink

The rating is good for a project, but not always it determines the success of one, some scam ICOs got there with good marking, but it ended up attracting investors to the scam, so i personally don't see the rating of an ICO a signal for a good project, only by comparing analysis and checking the team is what tells me a project is good.

You are right, more often that rating just confuses you since it doesnt show the right value of the project. I think Datum got a lot of attention doing the giveaway for promotion of their project and it looks like it was worth it.
1710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] [NaPoleonX] 1st 🌟French🌟 algorithmic crypto asset manager 🚀 on: October 12, 2017, 03:21:34 PM
Yes the NapoleonX team handle the marketing and the communication very well. They participate to a lot of event worldwide and now the project has a huge visibility. NapoleonX will raise a lot, it’s really a major project.

You can check their impressive media/press/meetups list on their webpage. Recently they participated on blockchain forums in London and Barcelona, that just shows how devoted they are to the project.

1711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SOMA - The Social Marketplace on: October 12, 2017, 03:14:56 PM
is there any new partnership coming other than UTRUST?

None that I know of at the time. Anyway the partnership with Utrust was somehow unexpected. Taking that as a sample. I'd be looking for new projects/ANNs that provide something tangible for SOMA while being backed up by a good team.

Since they have the payment system sorted now with Utrust, i am expecting a partnership on some other aspect of their platform, maybe they should find someone to help whem with marketing which is one of the most important things.
1712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: October 12, 2017, 03:10:31 PM
The timing of the crowsale in November makes this project more attractive to investors in the future and I am sure this will be a success because they are always very interested in investors and will be applied outside life in the next few year

And since bitcoin is growing now a lot and alts will follow after segwit, i am sure investors will be more comfortable to invest more money in Utrust. They might even beat Monetha in their ICO.
1713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟[ANN][ICO]🌟 GIZER - The Global Gaming Network 🌐 ► Presale 20th Oct. 🔥 on: October 12, 2017, 03:06:22 PM
I'm not sure about the item distribution. Of course having different % of rarity is allright, but the same amount of items for each? I'd change their proportion similarly to the rarity.

I think is good they have diversity even for unfathomable items. That means that the chance to get such an item is already very low and even if you get lucky, there is a high chance others will have different unfathomable items so yours will be even more unique since there will be 50 different ones.
1714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🌟🌟 Datum - Unlock the Bln $$ Data Economy - ICO 29th October - 🌟🌟 on: October 12, 2017, 03:00:03 PM

Provide compute power and storage capacity to store data in the de-centralized
network. Storage Nodes are part of the BigchainDB cluster that allows Datum to
provide global scale storage of submitted data

How much stogare space every user will have? Or it will be depend of quantities tokens?
that is a good question the storage space disponibile for users will be somehow connected to the number of token possessed?...

So, can anyone answer to my question? How much storage space we will have?

The storage capacity may also grow with time since more and more miner will be sharing their computer space. Remember how it was with gmail in the beginning, you could barely store any data there, now you can store 15GB for free, and more if you pay.
1715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PLAYKEY: DECENTRALIZED CLOUD GAMING PLATFORM on: October 12, 2017, 02:52:49 PM
I think when the platform will be more developed we will be able to play with less than 15 mbps. Streaming game take a lot of internet connection, but it will be optimized in the future. Playkey will become a major platform for the cloud gaming and will offer his service to most of us.

Unfortunately, although I'm not an expert in these things, I wouldn't think that they could improve the latency by that much, since using playkey doesn't not require any pre-downloaded assets (other than the small playkey installation).
I guess we will just have to wait for internet connection speeds around the world to improve further. But good luck with that - most governments are good as wasting taxpayer money on useless things.

I think internet trough optic cables is spreading a lot right now and the speeds there are more than enough for playing games on Playkey. Unfortunately its not available in rural areas since you need an actual cable to reach that speed. To some point it will be solved when they develop 5G mobile connection.
1716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] [NaPoleonX] 1st 🌟French🌟 algorithmic crypto asset manager 🚀 on: October 12, 2017, 08:50:25 AM

NapoleonX will pay taxes for running a company of fund management, they are getting a licence for that, but tokens don't pay taxes, unless a country tax cryptocurrencies, that as of now, there aren't any, so the only ones paying the taxes are NaPoleonX, NPX is not a security, you just happen to get paid for participating in a voting session, and NPX gives you de right to vote, and your payment is given to you based on the number of tokens you have, if you didn't participate in the voting, you don't get paid, its as simple as that.

In the country where I am from you are supposed to pay taxes on income from crypto currency related activities so that is why I wrote depending on country. So from my view its the same as If i invest in a traditional fiat fund. The fund manages the taxes on their behalf and I as an investor is supposed to pay tax in case I have a positive return.

I didn't know there are already countries which introduced taxes on cryptocurrencies. And what are the rates? I'm sure cryptocurrencies are still not that heavily taxed...
1717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: October 12, 2017, 08:28:55 AM
Which currencies will be accept on this platform? Only BTC and ETH? Or also altcoins? Cant find the list

If you watched the video it said that you can use your favorite cryptocurrency to buy and sell it on the platform. You can visit utrust.io and read more articles regarding this matters. just don't forget to invest their ICO on Nov. 2

I still didnt receive answer to my question! WHICH currencies? Only "favorite", "popular" etc.
I want list of this currencies.

I think think they have their reasons to not disclose that yet

Maybe this list is still under development, that's why it's not disclosed yet...I hope, it's gonna be announced soon.
1718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SOMA - The Social Marketplace on: October 12, 2017, 08:26:25 AM
This project benefits from a small number of coins. 60 million for our time is a rarity in ico
The number of coins isn't so important as the real cap of the project. If earlier there were real cap and projects were growing in price, then now everyone wants to immediately earn money before creating a project.

I'd say that the number of coins is also important, they should be affordable, not too high and not too low in value (in pre-ICO stage).
1719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Genesis Vision - Decentralized platform for the trust management on: October 12, 2017, 08:02:40 AM
Wow, two good news for such a short period of time! Well done, genesis team!
America is a huge market, I'm sure it will boost a customer segment. And the partnership with HitBTC is beneficial for both sides.

I noticed that Datum is also distributing free coins after ICO for everyone who participates. Is there a high chance we will see a huge dump after this token gets on exchange?
