Must admit I got fooled by the Hawaiian summer/normal time. Curse the people who decided that we should adjust the chronograph twice a year. The concept of "summer time" is just stupid. Oh well, congrats to the winner ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

These have 1.85 btc total preloaded. So if I dont get enough I will be just redeeming them or selling them to a pawn shop.
Well, you have a 3.5BTC offer from a reputable member. 3.5 > 1.85, so it would not be a financial vice decision to redeem them.

I found this gif in the link, pretty much sums it up: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cryptocoinsnews.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2014%2F10%2Fdogegif1.gif&t=663&c=uHpRsUEVhxindQ)

It is preloaded with some btc so I will not be selling it for the equivalent of 1 btc.
You never know, I bought a 1BTC silver/gold Lealana #500 for 1.15 BTC a few months ago to stop someone from cracking it open. Off Topic: Yeah, I remember how you saved that coin ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I am really happy that it was not redeemed, would have been such a shame.

I used to ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) - Still kind on do but not actively. Quite hard to answer. The holy-grail is considered a sealed 1st Gem iPod classic. They go for around $10-15k. However, some collectors call the limited edition Beck, Madonna and NoDoubt 2nd Gen classics the holy-grail. That's because nobody knows exactly how many were sold by Apple and just how many are around today. Very interesting ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Thanks for teaching me ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

inferior PoW technology
Why PoW is inferior? Fiat leak from miners, expensive to maintain the network; Mining tends to centralization with all the dangers of that; The flaws of PoW are well known. Please present an alternative that is superior to PoW. I think the ideas used in bitshares has potential, however I would never invest in that stuff. Simply because I do not trust the people behind. I trust PoW, despite the flaws and weak sides, it is transparent and easy to understand PoW.

Yeah, for the lolz or not, don't underestimate the power of humor, jokes and fun. It's a huge market, and if the fun money taps into the fun market, it could be a strong recipe for success, especially in the environment of economic recession of the next few years where people feel depressed and need something to cheer them up. In that sort of environment even though Dogecoin is based on an inferior PoW technology, it could still gather a large fan base, mark my words )
I tend to agree to this one. If (or rather when?) crypto currency become commonly used, I could easily picture e.g. young girls using DOGE coins for online shopping, for the only reason that the doggy is cute ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I do not know anything about panda, but DOGE coin is definite a joke. DOGE was never meant to be serious, it is about having fun. People who "invest" heavily in DOGE with the expectation to get rich are taking it too far. Take the DOGE coin as it is: a fun coin ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Humor sells quite well, you know. If people adopt Dogecoin for fun, who cares, the price will go up. Looks like the latest efforts of Doge team to introduce Doge to the huge audience of twitch.tv and other marketing steps should work well for the adoption. Of course, Dogecoin is vulnerable to the same flaws as Bitcoin - Proof-of-work algo will make it centralized with time, and then Proof-of-stake or some variety of it will become standard. But for the next year or two Dogecoin's rate of growth will exceed that of Bitcoin. Notice, it's rate of growth, not absolute market cap. I have DOGE coins myself, mostly in physical form though. I never care too much about the exchange rate (honestly). However I do like to trough out a few "To da moon" when the price goes up (for the lolz)

Thanks TooKDK for the pics!
We wanted to say that, in case you redeem the coin, the serial number is physically engraved into the coin key insert (Not with laser, but machined by hand) so you still know wich coin you have.ç
Mint hallmarking is also beneath the hologram.
That is a very nice detail ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
