1701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 28, 2022, 10:36:14 PM
I consider myself a gambling addict. However, unlike gambling addicts, I'm aware of my addiction and I know how to control it. What I love most is playing poker and also sports betting. The latter is the one that screws me the most. Even though, I can get some real good profits,
sometimes I get wild and end up losing all of my money.

To avoid, running after the loss, I have set up the responsible gambling in my account and it helps me a lot to control the bad beats against my will to recharge my account and ending up losing it all again.

For me this has been working for quite some time and it was a way I found to prevent me from throwing money that I need away.

Any of you guys uses the responsible gambling feature? If so, what do you think about it? Is it helpful or does it only gives you a sense of control

It's useful, for sure.

In fact, this is a feature every licensed casino should have.
Regulatory bodies should oblige casinos to make this feature available to players, as it certainly prevents users from betting beyond their limit when they are overcome with emotion.

In the old days, when there were only casinos in Fiat, it was easier to have this control, it was enough to deposit the "excess" money in a bank account that took a certain amount of time to authorize the withdrawal.
Today, with cryptocurrencies and self-custodial wallets, this has become much more complicated, as it depends solely on the user, which is why websites need to provide this feature for addicted but controlled players like you.
1702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If your friend would tell you this... on: December 28, 2022, 10:31:00 PM
If your friend would tell you hey bud I have 10k in BTC lets try to make it 65k. You play on the casino for me.
How would you play? what would be your game pattren?

Id probably do 1 game of black (20k win) then one game of roullete with 10 numbers = $65k profit.

what would you do

Well, I see that you have "set" a goal, but you also need to know how long you intend to reach it.

If there is no rush, I would bet on sports games, which have an outcome that is easier to predict, but with smaller winnings and would obviously take longer.

If you're in a hurry, then bet on luck, roulette, poker (if you're really good at it), slots and online games.
But even if there is A LOT OF HURRY, a very wrong decision would be to bet all that amount on big bets, the risk of losing would be immensely higher.

I don't know if your situation is real, if so, play with caution and good luck!
1703  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Mark Cuban defende Bitcoin e critica Ouro on: December 27, 2022, 11:33:28 PM

1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Licenses and Casino reputation on: December 27, 2022, 11:25:46 PM
There are a lot of casino licenses we can see though personally I don't have a lot of ideas about which one is for what purpose and how they help the gamblers in reality. Nevertheless, I guess, in most of the crypto casinos, curacao is a common license we can see though I barely have ever checked out whether they are licensed or not LOL. What does a curacao license do in reality & how it can benefit us as a gambler?
What are the other common licenses & how they can help the gambler when a gambler faces issues with the casino; especially when the gambler gets robbed/scammed by the casino? It's something I guess we all should be aware of; I believe most of us don't know at all.

In fact, Curação has a government that has opened the doors to all types of casinos, with simple legislation, low taxes and very little bureaucracy, these are just the reasons that lead websites to place Curação at the top of their preferences when they want to open a casino. online.

As for player safety, unfortunately that doesn't mean anything.
In fact, we can say that it's even better than a site that has nothing, because at least we'll have someone's name to look up in case something goes wrong.
But, make no mistake, because nowadays there are many companies that provide licensing services in Curacao, in fact they are facilitators, who intermediate the license between the government and the real owners.

If you are looking for security, you need to go far beyond a valid license, I believe that the reputation of a site is the best "thermometer" to measure its trust.
1705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 27, 2022, 11:18:52 PM
Seeing the current condition Manchester City is actually filled with strong players on almost all fronts and even during the world cup some time ago they actually sent the most players who participated for their country as many as 16 players how could this not be called a great player.
Actually in terms of assessment maybe this depends on everyone's perspective but to say Manchester City doesn't have great players in it is a little too much for me.

I agree that Manchester City does have very good players in the current squad and even so they are not stopping hiring.

One of the highlights of England in the World Cup, for example, was midfielder Jude Bellingham, so much so that he is one of the most coveted players in the current transfer market.
And I believe that Manchester City has a great chance of signing the current Borussia Dortmund player right now. The renewal of the contract with coach Pep Guardiola and the desire to meet again with striker Erling Haaland, who was once his partner in Germany, are very good reasons for Bellingham to sign with Manchester City.

But, that won't come cheap, from what I've seen here, this deal could reach the £83 million mark, which would make this the second most expensive signing of the team, behind only Jack Grealish.
1706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to win gambling? on: December 27, 2022, 11:03:17 PM
Remember, gambling should always be viewed as a form of entertainment and not a way to make money. It is important to gamble responsibly and within your means.

Any comments? The post is made by https://openai.com/blog/chatgpt/ Actually not bad in my eyes.

When people ask me how to make money gambling, I answer:
Losing a lot of money!

Gambling in my language is a literal translation of "bad luck game", which is a strong "disincentive" for anyone trying to venture into it to earn money.

As you said, gambling has fun as its main purpose, but none of the casinos say that, they sell propaganda that gambling can make you very rich, which is still true.
Obviously, advertising is the lifeblood of every business, so we can't blame them for that.

Finally, self-control, budget planning and also the amount of time spent on gambling. If you have these three, you will never get lost in gambling and who knows, you might even win a lot of money.

Pegou mal pra tu reputação ein @TryNinja, melhor pagar pra todo mundo agora Tongue

Então, me desculpe a ignorância, mas qual é a vantagem?
Sonegar mais facilmente o pagamento de impostos?
É a única que estou enxergando.
1710  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Binance contrata Henrique Meirelles, ex-ministro da fazenda/presidente do BC on: December 24, 2022, 12:43:07 AM

1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this a good plan at all? on: December 24, 2022, 12:14:23 AM
Crypto gambling keeps growing faster than Fiat gambling, it's good to see that the masses now favours crypto for gambling than using Fiat but the only issue I have with crypto is the security, data breach and co so I want to know if hiding my IP on a crypto gambling website is secure? I am going with a premium sub of express VPN. If you think otherwise please tell me.

It depends, some sites prohibit the use of VPN, others allow but with some restrictions on countries.
Recommend that you read the site's terms of use before using VPN on them.

If they allow it, my advice is that you configure the VPN so that your exit port is the same as the country where you are physically located. This would avoid inconvenience for future cases where you need to perform KYC and the documentation you send is from a different country than those shown in your access logs.

But as I said, some sites are stricter than others, it is advisable that you go directly to the casino support to better inform yourself and make sure that you are not violating any rules.
1712  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: O Japão quer ser diferente on: December 23, 2022, 01:21:40 AM

Coinbase removida da loja!! on: December 23, 2022, 01:11:16 AM

Entende a diferença?

Ferrari still have quite much time until the launch of their new season car. I don't know if they would show anything about the power of the car. Maybe we would barely be able to see it by the beginning of testing sessions. They need to give the best car they can to Leclerc and Sainz this time.

I don't know if it's still confirmed, but I had read that Ferrari would have an engine with 30 more horsepower for the 2023 Formula 1 season, a result achieved with an "innovative solution" in the design of the unit.
Furthermore, they promised to "attack" and solve the reliability problems that so plagued Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz this last season.

Ferrari's problems arose because they needed to "pump" their engine to the maximum before the blockade that affected all teams, but now, by the rules, they can still make some adjustments to try to solve the problems that remain, and that's what they want extract that extra power.

I still have hope that Ferrari will perform well in 2023, I really root for this team and hope that it can match Mercedes.
1715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online casinos disadvantage some locations from winning big on: December 23, 2022, 12:55:31 AM
Yes, you can bypass the KYC verification but that is very risky when you get caught because there are too many factors that you get caught.
We know that the casino will ask to enhance verification when you will win big, if that is so, how you will continue to provide data knowing that you only bypass the verification, it sounds risky but you should know this from the start. The casino is designed to gain profit but not the gambler, the gambler's purpose is to have entertainment and that is the fact. So the location does not matter to me if you will win or not, it is expecting that the chances of winning is very small in gambling because gambling are here to make profit on us.

I am sure that the casino will not be reluctant to block a large amount of money if the user has any pending KYC.
Properly regulated casinos are, in most countries, under a lot of pressure from governments and regulatory bodies, so KYC is a legal way for them to try to protect themselves from any criminal prosecution in this regard.

Everyone who enters a centralized and properly regulated casino knows that they are subject to KYC realization sooner or later, and should be sure that this is inevitable if they need to withdraw a large amount of money.

Just a piece of advice: Never use false data, because if this is discovered it is highly likely that you will never be able to recover the money that is blocked.
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 23, 2022, 12:48:44 AM
Martinez already said after the world cup ended that he want to move to one of the elite teams of the world. But with how good he played i think the fee for him will be to large and i dont know what team would spend 80+ mil for a goalkeeper . Where ever he moves it will be a record goalkeeper transfer.

He is right!!!
Emiliano Martínez had a phenomenal cup, so there is a very high price to pay for anyone who wants to have the best goalkeeper in the world cup in their squad.

We must remember that in the grand final of the tournament, against France, in addition to Emiliano being the highlight in the penalty shootout, he also made a miraculous save in the last bid of extra time, which could have eliminated Argentina's chances of lifting the cup.

What Emiliano did is as important as a goal in the last minutes of a decisive match. So I ask you? Why does a goalkeeper need to earn less than a striker?
What's the difference between scoring a decisive goal and preventing it?
Coinbase removida da loja!! on: December 22, 2022, 01:34:52 AM

Is anyone else looking forward to the start of Brasileirão 2023?
Unfortunately it will still take a while, as the first league match is only in April. But, we can kill the nostalgia with the state championships that will start in January.

Practically all the teams will play in the Paulista, Carioca, Mineiro and Gaúcho championships before the Brasileirão begins.

I highlighted below the main games of each one...

In the Paulista championship, on January 15th, they face:
Santos x Mirassol;
Palmeiras x São Bento;
Corinthians x Red Bull Bragantino;
São Paulo x Ituano;

In the Carioca championship, Flamengo plays on the 12th against Audax;
And on the 15th they play:
Botafogo x Audax;
Vasco x Madureira;
Fluminense vs Resende;

The Rio Grande do Sul championship starts a little later, and Internacional faces Juventude on January 21st.
Grêmio faces São Luiz on January 17th for the Recopa Gaúcha

In the Mineiro championship there is also an important game on the 21st of January, as Atlético-MG faces Caldense
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: World cup highest goal scorers update discussion on: December 22, 2022, 01:18:40 AM
Kylian mbappe is my favorite player in the world cup. His speed alone is very different from others, he's pacey and have the strength and balance to over come defenders on the pitch. He's a big threat when it comes to facing his opposition, he does everything to achive his goals in a season. So mbappe deserve every single award he's been nominated for. I've watch him play at to high level

I can cite several reasons that justify Mbappé's victory, among them:

Number of goals - He is better than Messi, because despite having the same number (9), three of Messi's goals were penalty kicks, unlike Mbappé who scored all goals with the ball rolling.

Assists and Goal Appearances - If Mbappé isn't scoring goals, then he's providing assists for that. Mbappé was largely responsible for most of the plays that ended in shots for the opposing goal.

Speed on the pitch - A big thing that makes Mbappé one of the best in the world is his speed. In Qatar, he hit his best goal reaching 35.3 km/h which also helped him with the powerful shots that reached 113.74 km/h in the game against Poland.

Mbappé and Pelé - In his two participations in World Cups, Mbappé scored 9 goals, surpassing Pelé, who, aged 21, scored eight goals in the first two World Cups he participated.
1720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: December 22, 2022, 01:07:42 AM
ChatGPT is all the rage at the moment. I’ve seen that people are asking it to predict sporting events. Would you leave gambling decisions up to artificial intelligence? Do you see any potential drawbacks for outsourcing your bets to a software program? Has anyone here tried this yet? Do we need someone to put together a thread of ChatGPT predictions to see how accurate they are?  Any other thoughts?

Artificial intelligence has evolved a lot in the last 2 years in all sectors.
Many people and companies are using AI to make their business more profitable and secure as well.

I'm sure the best betting sites already use AI to help predict the outcome of many games and consequently increase your winnings.

We know that in some aspects AI will not be able to replace the human mind, but in several others it manages to be able to overcome people, mainly in matters where the emotional can interfere in decision-making.

So my conclusion is that AI can help players improve their earnings if used wisely and disciplined in conjunction with human decisions.
