1702  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buy bitcoins? on: August 01, 2018, 02:21:17 AM

I think I will go for a purchase through Wire Transfer.
That's why I was also interested for sam list in which stock markets do so.

First by first. I have to do may homework.

Question to your answer actually depend upon your country of residence too.
Better to buy it from exchange but if you are not using exchange or buying someone from in this forum than make  sure to escrow the deal.
1703  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is bitcoin the right cryptocurrency to start trading for a newbie? on: July 31, 2018, 07:05:46 PM
Preferably someone who does not have much in his savings. Is bitcoin the right cryptocurrency or should he go for an altcoin? How much exactly should a newbie shell out to start trading and what do you think any newbie with little savings or investments should keep in mind before they officially get into cryptocurrency?

If you have limited capital or very less capital then I will suggest you to trade with Doge pair. Generally you can invest little- little in every coin without risking too much.

Only disadvantage in trading in Doge or any other Alt coin is that all altcoins generally fall together or rise together so might no get profit even in coin price rise.

For Ex. you bought coin A for 1 doge (Doge is currently 40 satoshi). 1 month after you find coin A is now 55 satoshi but value of Doge is also 55 satoshi , so even the coin price increased but using that Altcoin (or Doge ) pair will not give you any benefit unless you sell them for BTC.

But if you just want to get trading experience then it will be the  good experiment with very less money.

If a thread you posted in got removed, you wouldn't receive any message and I can see that the thread The sadness is called Merit got moved to the trashcan and you had 4 posts in it.
Why was my theme removed? can you explain ?

Might somebody pressed "Report To Moderator" for a low quality or useless discussion on that thread. Overall your subject also have nothing to do bitcoin /Altcoin/or any specific forum discussion. So moderator might agreed to trash it.
1705  Other / Meta / Re: Why haven't i gotten any merit? on: July 31, 2018, 03:32:06 AM
Don't believe him.. I did all the things the other day and he said it had to be a male cow after I orchestrated the entire event.

Male cow!!!! Never heard of it till now..

@Welsh

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4779822.0

These kind of post have nothing to add in discussion and I do not understand , what is the purpose of OP of copying some image here from another site.

I am not sure for others but it falls under the "spam category" for me,

Reported

Yup, it is deleted, I was little uncertain whether it should be reported or not.

1709  Other / Meta / Re: Icon for banned user on: July 30, 2018, 10:24:47 PM
Sometimes I find some copy-pasters spammers and I report and report them ītill I get exhausted. To take a look at the modlog page is kind of messy.

Any Idea, How many days data modlog.php contain? I am trying to find a reported user there but I did not find it in modlog.
User is also inactive for last 2 days.
1710  Other / Meta / Re: Why haven't i gotten any merit? on: July 30, 2018, 10:03:34 PM

1711  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [iMerits] Why do some coins fork from the Bitcoin chain? on: July 30, 2018, 09:53:26 PM
The iMerits project awards merits for new and junior members who provide information to other members.

In this thread we ask you to explain why some new coins create a fork from the original Bitcoin chain. We don't want you to to discuss specific coins, but to explain the commercial logic or other reasons for these forks.

As usual, this thread is self moderated, and will be kept spam and bounty free. sMerits will be awarded for the best answers.

Slightly Off Topic: But why are your all challenges for Jr. members only? Do you have some challenge for member too that I missed?
1712  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MoneyToken is a Scam? on: July 30, 2018, 09:48:52 PM

Why was the topic moved from Meta? Or fraud of a member of the DT list is an ordinary case?[/size]

If you have name of the DT member then name that member.
I think if you have the name of that member then "Reputation" is correct board. You seems to somewhat lacking information about forum boards.
Please remove all the image, I do not think they are contributing anything but just making post lengthy.
1713  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MoneyToken is a Scam? on: July 30, 2018, 02:15:53 AM
Move it to Scam Accusation. It is not the Meta subject.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Not sure, but a scam accusation thread can be started against bounty manager too, if KYC is added at the end.

Just My 2 cents:
Why all bounty hunter smell scam when they are scammed , why not earlier while doing the bounty ?
1714  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let me give you the first Merit in this forum. (Challenge ques 3) on: July 30, 2018, 12:20:27 AM
Challenge Ques 3. Can you get negative trust for your signature if project/product you advertise (even it paid bounty signature) is scam ?
1715  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let me give you the first Merit in this forum. (Challenge ques 2) on: July 30, 2018, 12:09:05 AM
Report to Moderator is used  to report the post that are out of context of topic or some gibberish post (post in English section but English sentence do not making any sense).
Actually Forum Moderator Welsh made a good reporting guide here.
Theymos also acknowledge the effort of reporting anfd he decided to create the badge
for the users,
1716  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let me give you the first Merit in this forum. (Challenge ques 2) on: July 29, 2018, 11:36:44 PM
Not all people responded but I will still proceed with my second question.

In which case we should use "Report To Moderator" or report post.

It's pretty much standard thing on any forum, if you see someone breaking any rules you should report them to mods so they can warn, ban or just plainly do something about it so it doesn't happen again. Every forum has rules and you can find the rules for this one in the following thread.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0

Also every bitcointalk sub-forum has it's stickies with some additional rules that should be followed. Like this one from Bitcoin Discussion.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=20333.0

Challenge Ques 2. In which case we should use "Report To Moderator" or report post.

Quoted the response.

"Report to moderator enables you to report abusive or wrongly-placed posts to the forum staff." https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=help

I realized that this button is pressed in case of spam, or the message is posted in the wrong place, or having insults in the message.

1717  Other / Meta / Re: Seeking reporter badge images on: July 29, 2018, 12:53:11 AM

Where the count of unhandled reports  will be counted?
Good or bad ?

Quote
Reports start out unhandled, and are then either marked good, marked bad, or no moderator ever handles them and they stay unhandled. When a report stays unhandled, this does not mean that no moderators were available to look at it; rather, it means that several moderators looked at it, but none of them was sure whether it should be acted upon or not. A report that stays unhandled can be thought of as "soft-bad", since no moderator positively thought that it warranted action.

Currently when I see  the forum percentage, it actually counted in good only but definition considered them as "soft bad". Some kind of  contradiction is here.

For Profile, I think we should not ever display % or bad report count. (I agree % is important but below also hold true)

Quote
Do not worry about your accuracy too much; one accurate report is worth many inaccurate reports.

1718  Other / Meta / Re: Your plans are clear and very transparent. Plagiarism on: July 28, 2018, 06:35:57 PM
--snip --

@OP, what the purpose of creating this thread?
When you get all of them permanently banned by reporting at

Mod, please check new plagiarism: Reporting copy/pasting, please permban
1719  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I like to move it move it - get your text to move on: July 28, 2018, 12:31:57 PM
Look like does not work here.
According to forum guide  below should be the code.

Code:
[move]move[/move]

PS: I got the answer. They are disabled here.

I just disabled marquee board-wide. I don't see any use for it.
1720  Other / Meta / Re: Recently received a banned of your account per post. on: July 28, 2018, 04:25:54 AM
For what it's worth, I tagged the alt account.  I'm sure these aren't his only two accounts, and if anyone has evidence that he's got more I'll tag those too--just in case.

It's no wonder he's copy/pasting, since he's probably got more accounts enrolled in bounties than he knows how to manage, and he certainly can't write for shit.

OP is copy pasting with this account also. I put my report of OP plagiarism in LoyceV thread.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.msg43004017#msg43004017

Actually OP is  doing cross language plagiarism , translating Russian articles into English and posting it here.

Goodbye "saelernet". It is matter of time this account will be banned too.

Edit: This user is banned now.
