961  Other / Meta / Re: Where should I post? on: January 24, 2019, 07:27:19 AM
If that project has ANN here than I guess you can post in that ANN thread too. I do not think posting in Altcoins section should be a problem.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHOW NO MERCY TO SCAMMERS! on: January 24, 2019, 06:02:16 AM
Do you have suggestions on how to practically eradicate scamer projects? because it's true that these scamers have reduced trust in crypto

It is no brainer if you do the research properly. Instead of proving/wasting your time whether the project is legit or not , ask the project to prove it legitimacy and evaluate it.
Do not be fooled that anonymousity is necessity of crypto, No company (whether it is doing ICO funding)  can remain anonymous and it need to be registered somewhere in some country.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steemit Issues? on: January 24, 2019, 05:49:36 AM
It is good platform if you have little capital and trying yourself to eatablish as a blogger. For most of writer payment sucks and they leave it. Majority is posting spam and using bid bots.
With RC implementation there, various limitation like number of post/comments that can be made in a day also come to effect.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Divistock: The ultimate platform for the tokenization of assets. on: January 24, 2019, 05:36:19 AM
Whether this will be ICO or STO? Or  you are creating on it's own ?
Will you charge subscription fees from the user ?  How you are going to earn/benefitted from project?
965  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think "crappy ICO's" chased a lot of people away from this forum? on: January 24, 2019, 04:31:48 AM
crappy ICO, reduced price of BTC from all time high, Inability of them to write some good content on their own, Getting their post deleted due to low quality and spam and get caught for plagiarism when they are trying to fish merit, not able to farm account due to merit requirement ,bored by too much of spam here  are main reason for the users leaving the forum.

966  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Infographic]: Guide on possible reasons to leave a -ve/+ve trust feedbacks. on: January 24, 2019, 04:19:10 AM
Correct me with a recent example of BTT account used as a collateral and it wasn't red tagged.  I believe just  accepting or giving a BTT account as a collateral can be consider as account farming as the main intention of a collateral is base on the fact of loaner default so you have something to turn to.

Here is the example for you.

Terms:
1. You must have valid collateral. Altcoin and reputed bitcointalk profiles are only valid collateral to me.

User is Green trusted.

It will be zero value collateral for lender but it still it has much value for account owner. Any reputable person will not like to part the account for few dollars.

This should be debatable for which amount of loan and a positive trust should be given. Users are giving/receiving +ve trust for paying petty loan amount ,look like more of trust farming.

Going through this infographic,i came across your statement which says a user can get a red trust for being an escrow without a track record
Is that correct and should that be so,i know it's safer, and we're encourage to use the forum's official escrow service and also reputable members but is it not the decision of those engaged in the transaction to decide who acts as escrow in their transaction whether or not that person has a track record, but is trusted by both of them, and such person should not get red tagged,I think this makes sense, but I stand to be corrected

Then do the private deal (escrow), no need to start your escrow service thread.
You can check the trust of  [ur=https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1432468l]mdayonliner[/url] who got -ve trust for jumping in escrow deal of $100K without any experience.
967  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Quantum Computing and Bitcoin on: January 24, 2019, 03:43:27 AM

Just wondering why somebody having QC will like to attack bitcoin, when there is so much Fiat lying in banks ?
Don't you think that fiat in bank will be the first target before they will think of brute forcing bitcoin wallets.

968  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: January 24, 2019, 03:23:12 AM
So, if I will only claim from faucet without wagering or buying lottery tickets and try to withdraw my earnings, will it be called as abuse and I will risk to get my account blocked?

I will add one more question. Claimed only from faucet and wagered it but wagered amount is still higher than claimed amount but wagering is never done by direct deposit , and amount still remain withdraw able after wagering, will it still be abuse?
(Provided, there is no referral and multi account abuse.)

I guess, you need to put some TOS in your site.

Good information. So i need to be Full Member before having profile picture feature?

Yes,
To become Full Member you need 100 Merits. If you really aiming for high rank then use the search more,  read more and write good content( no copy paste allowed from this site or external site.)
970  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin lowest value of the year. Other perspective on: January 24, 2019, 01:55:57 AM
For now, the lowest value of the year is still above 2018 low. The lowest value of the year is 3550. Let´s hope it holds =D

But the Gap is  not too much and it is just start of year, probably it can go below $3200. Low value chart only make sense who is very early investor. It does not make sense for someone buying in 2017 and selling in 2018 because might bought price will be much more than lowest value.
971  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crowd bitcoin mixing? on: January 23, 2019, 05:27:57 PM
I think you misread, if you even did read my post. I dont want to use casinos to mix my coins. I want a bitcoin mixing service, to have the option to let users invest funds into its bankroll. I think I explained it pretty clearly.

Got you now, But I am wondering how would you identify the investor or somebody need mixing service?
I will always act as investor and withdraw my coins or investors were forced to lock the investment for at least "x" number of days. Just wondering if nobody in hurry and keep their investment for "x" days.

PS: Sorry, after reading bankroll and gambling , I really missed the gist of the OP.
972  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crowd bitcoin mixing? on: January 23, 2019, 03:23:07 PM
Has anyone tried a service to mix bitcoins using crowd funds?

Just like you would invest into a gambling website, you'd invest into the bitcoin mixer balance.
The mixer gets profit off of fees from people intending to hide their coins, and part of that fee goes to the balance of all the investors.

I am not able to find it now, but I remember I read in one of the casino site TOS that if they suspect that you are tying to use them as mixer then will just confiscate the balance.
Casino Services provider are already aware that their services can be used as mixer that's why most casino do not allow to withdraw without wagering.
973  Other / Meta / Re: Why was my post deleted? on: January 23, 2019, 01:26:29 PM
Can you show me the rule?

Look like , you are still not understood the rules correctly. There is very large disclaimer before stating the rules.

NOTE: This is meant to serve as a reference/educational/informational thread, NOT a rock solid list of rules.

It simply means, if your post look low-quality/spam they are free to delete it, they do not have mention each and every case explicitly in rules section.

974  Other / Meta / Re: Why was my post deleted? on: January 23, 2019, 12:23:20 PM
This was your raw unedited post (exluding quotes):
It was posted just over 10 hours ago in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5100909.msg49371087#msg49371087 and it looks like the whole topic "Cryptocurrency Needs a New Direction" in "Economics" has been deleted. Reading through it quickly, it looks like a generic low-quality post meant to spam your website. How convinient to leave out that part when you complain about a deleted post!

With respect, I disagree with what you're saying and your characterisation of the matter.

The definition of 'low quality' is "of poor or inferior quality."

How is a 10+ paragraph post 'low quality'? The grammar and spelling is proper English (UK). It follows the correct structure of an essay. It's relevant to economics and the entirety of cryptocurrency.

Your post is low quality according to below consensus of community. It has nothing to do with post length and grammar.

Low Quality involves copying the article and providing the source while HQ involve comprehending the article and initiating the discussion on Pros and cons.

If you are  the original writer in that outside website than you are not allowed to promote your website in this way, it is considered as spam.

Edit:
That wasn't the part quoted as the deleted reason.

Any sensible user in this forum do not quote the full post.  So mod might  just take a small part of your big  post , just to inform you which spam post they deleted.
975  Other / Meta / Re: Signature advertisers: suggestions? on: January 23, 2019, 11:53:53 AM
What about following the same guideline that forum follows for the advertisement policy:

1. No ICO signatures are allowed.
2. Campaign that can be accepted in forum for signature advertisement can buy/acquire permission for specific number of signatures for their campaign. (Should not be like stake system and you can enroll any number of participants for stake.)

Few additional suggestion.
3. Individual not having gained a single merit in last 120 days will get signature disabled.
4. If users 3 post got reported in a week for spam (obviously good reports) user will get 1 month signature ban + punishment currently decided by forum.
5. Paid option if somebody do not have merit.
976  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there a dedicated MasterNode channel? on: January 22, 2019, 04:27:46 PM
I guess, you can visit https://masternodes.online/ to find all the available masternodes coins. When you click the coin there , a next page will open which will have "Announcement" link. Most of the coins announced here in bitcointalk so that link land in the "ANN" thread of this forum.

PS: I am not recommending you to trust the every listing on that site but I think it is most convenient way to know the MN coins.
977  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 🐦[INFOGRAPHIC] A Simple Guide to Merits and Rankings for Newbies. 🐦 on: January 22, 2019, 04:10:03 PM
Note: Your design is nice; it’s just that there are plenty of infographic on the topic already, linked within the Merit & new rank requirements thread itself.[/i]

As DdmrDdmr already pointed , you need to focus on something new. I read that you are developer so I guess understanding/posting some technical stuff will be option for you.
Currently , I see, forum is accepting Grin Coin (mimblewimble protocol), may be a good infographics will be interesting.(just a suggestion, you can try to create something new or very less discussed.)
978  Economy / Scam Accusations / [Generic]: Reporting obvious scammer/unethical user on: January 22, 2019, 03:42:14 PM
I come across few cases where users are obviously scamming or providing unethical services.
I guess, PMing DT every time will not be good option.

I guess, if we can thread and start posting it here for DT to tag, so that any DT can see and tag (whoever is available).
Since DT is now very dynamic, tagging by multiple DT is advisable.

So, I will report the first obvious scammer/unethical user

980  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: January 22, 2019, 01:25:46 PM
Ok , just i learned that I banned because i sent a week ago 21000 sat to my account and i tried to withdraw 30000 yesterday , the 9000sat i won from this site . But i think it is not fair , because i hadn't any message or warning for this . I am new to this bitcoin things ,  so first week i sent the 21000 satoshi i gained from other sites for the 4% interest to the freebitco.in , than i signuped to a bitcoin wallet just to see how it is working and tried to send 30000 there . I lost all of these . Anyway I writing in the forum , because i cant send post messages more than 1 per hour  Cry . Thank to the Quin for the response , but I suggest them to have warnings before ban someone for this reason . Sorry for my English , i know is not the best you see Smiley

You tried to get around the minimum withdrawal on an account that had only ever claimed the faucet up until that point.

Series of question here.
1.if somebody claimed 30,000 satoshi from faucet, then it cannot be withdrawn?
2. If somebody deposit 30,000 satoshi (or may be more) for gaining interest only, will it again considered as abuse?
3. Is there any requirement of how much amount you need to wager (Y) if you want to withdraw (X) ?
