1701  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you consider moving abroad? on: July 26, 2023, 02:44:00 PM
Since I got enlighten with the things in the real world I stated to my self that it's more ideal to work abroad even though you can suffer with the sadness with your family and friends are not with you but at the end we came for the money to make us survive and get enough funds to our safety at the same time.
My country is not as good country that has a good payment way for work we just work for 8 hours above with just barely 10$ and imagine in other country they are paying with the hourly rate so far from reality that you can save a good amount of money.
1702  Economy / Economics / Re: Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? on: July 26, 2023, 01:11:43 PM
There are many diverse opinions about following one's passion and wealth. I read two stories of people who followed their passion, and in a short period of time, the businesses became very profitable.

In story 1, Defossey left a job at Apple to open a BBQ restaurant in Mexico City. It made $9 million in sales last year. In story 2, Sean Audet, a 30-year-old, spent $0 launching a food photography side hustle, and now he brings in $134,000 a year.

The people in these stories followed their passion and created wealth through it. What is your opinion on following one's passion in relation to wealth? Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? If yes, what is stopping you from following it?

People are doing the things they love that bring them to a successful life but not as always this happens to people because life is unfair, even though you want to pursue your passion but it brings to the bottom side that does not sustain yourself anymore its too hard to you to push your passion but instead to adjust yourself just to make sure you can survive in the daily basis, people who have the opportunity can take this but not for the people who don't have a choice but to make themselves keep what they have and don't want to risk anymore in life because they don't have at all. but if you have a time to make your worth more you can find an opportunity that let those exchange as more profitable way.
1703  Economy / Economics / Re: The whales stirred. What should we expect? on: July 26, 2023, 12:20:53 PM
The whales stirred. What should we expect?

Judging by the information coming in, a lot of ancient "crypto whale" wallets that have not created any movement with Bitcoin, for many years, have recently "come to life". Recently, assets have started to be transferred from these wallets to the exchanges. The withdrawal to the exchanges, kind of hints that these amounts are being withdrawn to sell Bitcoin. Question to the esteemed public ! What is this ?
- the end of the short era of cryptocurrencies ? Owners are actively moving into fiat
- the end of the Bitcoin era ? Are they selling it to change cryptoasset for storage ? And what is this crypto asset?
- regulators have "gotten their way", cryptocurrency is losing support and interest ?
- your version ?

Currently, there's no assurance that the whales make a move right now of course who wants to make public with the movement they want so surly there's market manipulation currently there are a lot of sleeping wallets right now, and no idea if those wallets address are already forgotten or not or just waiting for the all-time high again to take profit. Reason why people are scared of that wallet is because if the whales want to sell their bitcoin surely those holders were getting FOMO and cause of the market crash but if you are an investor this could be a good opportunity to you. For me its not ideal to check the wallets of this whales every time this just a waste of time better to focus on your trades and investment, its part of the volatility.
1704  Economy / Economics / Re: Methods to cut food costs on: July 26, 2023, 11:53:30 AM
Hence why I said that a proper meal plan should be made. That includes knowing how far the food will last and how much you should be spending in a specific time span. Moreover, the meal plan will also tell you which ingredients should be replaced for a cheaper alternative and which can be completely drop. It is true that cooking everyday will be more expensive, hence I stated that one should be a responsible meal planner if they want to make their food by themselves.

We know that if there's a possible coming we people are accumulating a food as they can so we have a lot of resources and they don't need to go outside just to be part of the newcomers who are late to stock up with food in terms of conditioning of the family sources we can't deny this always happen there's some family consumes a lot of foods for their daily basis and its too hard to them to make stop immediately because of sudden lack of supplies so might bring them sick, at the early times better to make sure you are aware to the food consumption not always oversupply or over with the food is great there are tons of people now getting sick of due to obesity. If you have still consciousness with your self I guess its never been too late to manage food properly.
1705  Economy / Economics / Re: How is financial stability defined for you? on: July 25, 2023, 11:56:22 PM
As long as it's cater all the things I need for sustaining in life. Basic needs are an essential thing this you can survive for the daily basis but the thing is it's enough or not. If it is with an extra assets and good cashflow you can sustain your life until you die but if not for me it's consider still not a financial freedom once you experience how does the reality you will define or analyze to yourself that it's enough, you need more. Reason why you don't let those tardiness conquer it's all about your future.
1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dad's retirement money is invested in Bitcoin! on: July 25, 2023, 01:21:05 PM
As your father has been in army service for 25 years. Of course he is hardworking enough. After two months his employment will end, you must spend this pension money wisely. This is your father's life money so you will use this money with much awareness I think you should not invest the entire amount of Bitcoins. You will discuss this matter with your parents in detail and come to a decision. Because if you don't bring your father's opinion then if for some reason you suffer from this bitcoin then your father will not be very pleased with you. It is also true that your father has a dream to build a house with his pension money and that you don't want to do the housework because of the high cost of goods now. Still I'd say you don't invest the whole amount of bitcoins you can invest a third of the money.

The reason why some parents are afraid to invest is because its all their hard-earned money and they want those use as effective way so for their children or the family itself must sustain and fulfill their needs, you cant push them as always to invest in the things they don't know, not until you enlighten them about the things they need. Yes bitcoin can be really good investment but make sure they will agree with that and show to them first what are the possible outcome. The partial investment could be ideal but not as whole money for the bitcoin again the market is volatile so you need to check as always if you're still profitable.
1707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My easy way to teach your kids bitcoin. on: July 25, 2023, 01:06:20 PM
Cartoon is good but I can't figure a way to make such cartoon interesting, even if I have to create one for kids? But what is the end goal for doing this? They still need to grow up first and learn about money/financial freedoms, that's the best time to teach about Bitcoin.
I never became anything that my parents wanted me to become, they forced a few things on me but it didn't work, I still ended up doing my things, my way my world, and I am glad it didn't end in shame.

It is the best ideal way to teach them at the same time having a good parenting so you can now make sure they understand how it works, all of the lesson came from the life is from their parents, this serve to them as guidance, well back to the topic of the teaching bitcoin, cartoons is one of the effective way by doing this repetitive and include with props and other stuffs makes them realize its the bitcoin you can now get their attention but at the end of the day it will depends on the future case even though you teach them about this and have an insight but still if they don't want to pursue this thing you cant do anything as a parent but to support them.
1708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin self-rating on: July 25, 2023, 12:20:55 PM

So the big question is,  how will you rate yourself since your involvement and interaction with Bitcoin and bitcoin talk as a community,  have you become more financially educated resulting in your consistency in building a financially free future by accumulating Bitcoin and spending less and investing more,  or have you become more Conservative in your approach taking Bitcoin as get a rich quick scheme that will always end you in frustration?
What have become you financial life and status in the society and how have you managed your privacy using Bitcoin?

At this state I'm still not a financially free even though I've been committed into bitcoin, I see bitcoin to some of my friend those are the one who teach and enlighten me about the things I need and I come up with the bitcointalk community members shows up the things I need to learn and to avoid to my path those experience came from different people makes me more aware about the bitcoin itself, still currently I'm building myself to the innovations and changes of the bitcoin, so for the upcoming halving and ATH I'm prepared and not getting FOMO for the situation. Keep learning and striving to learn more hoping this coming years I will immediately achieve the financial freedom I need.
1709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top Bitcoin Wallets ? on: July 25, 2023, 11:40:09 AM
Good evening,
Which hot wallets are top in your opinion?

For the device you are using you can do with electrum they have the PC for windows and other operating systems and also they have an application you can use this can serve as a convenient to you but of course more secured within the use of the PC and have an additional layer of security such as the anti-virus, if you have a budget ideal to use a cold wallet so you don't need to worry about too much. Trezor or Ledger for your future reference.
1710  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scanning barcode to make payment on: July 23, 2023, 11:15:52 PM
There a scan feature in some centralized device and each of the figures if the given information have a different symbols or marks in the QR code this could be use as another way of security too, I've been trying this a lot into a different platform and it works well on me all the time. I guess the possible risk here is the barcode gets change by a suspicious hacker into it's address.
1711  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My number on: July 23, 2023, 12:04:43 PM
Seems like you make a typo with your address. Upon checking it made already a 30 transaction by the way if this is a typo I just change into "bc1" and sees the history of the address. The last transaction is 7-20-23 and this is an active address and I'm wondering why OP does not know about this address, what are you referring to OP about this address?

Bitcoin address is used for every day transactions as the address given is used for a public key and every time you made a transaction with your address there's a private key for verification. Theres nothing wrong showing your public address but not your seed phrase if there's any.
1712  Other / Meta / Re: what is the OP next to my nickname ? on: July 23, 2023, 10:52:03 AM

Every 2 merits you've got you can get a sMerit which can give to other people. Note: you cant do a self merit.

I'm here for selling and gaining knowledge and i cant stay NEWBIE forever Sad

1713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: July 23, 2023, 10:10:19 AM
I suggest reading T&C before making a deposit and hoping to hit big multipliers. Sometimes, casino platforms ask for KYC when a new user tries to withdraw big from a small deposit and they hope the impatient gambler will lose back all profit while the team checks for documents. I have never faced such issues but that is what I have heard on some shady casinos.

Even though you/we keep saying this to read the Terms and condition we cannot deny that most of gamblers do not want to read the long text for sure they make immediately deposit once they see that the events or the bonuses in favor in their side and once they hit a jackpot makes a question once they want to make immediately withdrawal for a newly created account.

Today just for small wins, I have to pass KYC or sometimes you have to pass the KYC before you can bet on the casinos, all this regulations are taking the fun out of gambling. No casino would want to force their players to complete KYC if they weren't been forced by the fed.

The government are trying to control everything and they're focusing more on cryptocurency and platforms that uses them like casino and sportsbook. They want people not be comfortable using them so they stop getting customer and making profits to kill the platforms.

Cannot deny this thing because its getting an exchange of information for just a small amount, personal information is one of the most important details but with the small amount of money we can exchange this which most likely happens.

The government cannot make a move on it unless they make a law or the SEC action to stop operating for a specific country.
1714  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a web3 casino for you? on: July 23, 2023, 09:20:24 AM
We can see that many normal casinos are now into web 3 which is a good attempt and it will make those that are also into web 3 to join the league. Even crypto project are now switching into web 3 which is a revolution from web 2 to web 3 increasing security and privacy of users. Web 3 casinos need to have the features that we need not by claiming to be a web 3 casino.
That's not accurate, a normal or a centralized casino cannot turn itself into a web3 or a decentralized casino since their business models don't match. A centralized casino requires users to create accounts, make deposits and withdrawals, do KYC, and a lot of other things while a Web 3 or a decentralized casino wouldn't require any of that since everything is done on-chain.

The biggest issue is the licenses centralized casinos have, a decentralized platform doesn't need a license to operate and that is why they don't ask for KYC as well, so it's basically not possible for a centralized platform to convert into a decentralized one after getting totally established.

One of the major differences is the convenience of the Web 3 applications to the casino is they make a fast way of the transactions I they want to deposit and make a withdrawal to the casino but at the end if you are using a centralized platform they have a power or authorization to requires you a KYC and still manage your activity if they want, else you will play into a decentralized platform so you don't need to get worry about the KYC, most of the people scared with the KYC even though most of those are level 1 like emails for your account recovery too.
1715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: July 23, 2023, 08:37:56 AM
I agree that online casinos are not a good why to launder money, but traditional based casinos are a different story. Because there was one big news here last 10 years ago that a criminal group has been laundering their money thru casinos and the government found about it after a thorough investigation.

I know it's not right, but this criminals will want to take advantage of anything that they can get their hands to, just to be able to hid and hide and recycle their money and then it will come up clean without any traces.
All criminal acts can occur in online casinos or in traditional casinos because gamblers still have freedom.
It's a different story in online casinos that implement KYC because in casinos that implement KYC money laundering can be put under more pressure and anyone who wants to carry out the action must think twice before the case is really exposed.

That one of the benefits of implementing KYC for withdrawals.

Online gambling casino can do operation even though they don't have a license that's the reason why its ideal if you play to those license gambling casino at the end of chance you can sue them with a case but of course its online this could be hard to the authority to manage unlike the old way of casino that there's really an establishment you can go through and check the management that really entertain your case. Most of the casino have their KYC and they signed for sure with the data privacy act if you read those but most likely people does not care of this with their security information. Even you don't want to accept the KYC still depends on the casino if they allowing this or not so else its a no choice situation for you or else change a gambling casino does not offering KYC.
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: July 22, 2023, 05:06:12 PM
The longer you play in a particular casino the more you can easily notice some bugs  or glitch to exploit. Its the same when you play some strategy games today which the longer you learn about the game, you know it very well like its the back of your hand and there could be one incident that you would take advantage to win. Not necessarily a cheat but one example of this is the giveaway where some users are exploiting it.

There is a casino that I never really get to leave and I go there from time to time to check, they don't do give away anymore because its been exploited by users lol Been waiting and seem like they've stopped.
Correct, it may seem impossible not only to find those bugs but to the bugs themselves to exist at all, but as you mention the more familiar a person is with a particular platform the easier it will be for them to notice a glitch they may be able to use for their own benefit.

And a great example of this are video games, in which fans of a particular game are able to break it completely just days after it has been released, as they are experts on finding bugs they can use in order to end the video game the fastest or get the highest score.

Before the casino launches their project, they will release in a UAT or the user acceptance testing that will bring into their Quality Assurance team or the QA to test any bugs before launching to the production mode. During the live of course, we cannot deny that there's an instance that will show up with some bugs that didn't find in that time, in that case they will temporarily terminate the services of the game and fix those bugs to prevent getting abused by the players.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you quit that's when you lose! on: July 22, 2023, 04:13:01 PM
People quit in some points, they do not want to play anymore because they win a lot and the other way is they lose a lot of money, it's not bad about quitting that's the part you think that you already an excessive player that consumes a lot of time and money, its ideal if you think you are already gambling addict by yourself and there's a lot of people affected with your decision making. If you lose accept the fact that those money cant take back. Move on and try another life don't get discourage because of those losses not all the time its the answer to your money problems. Sometimes being responsible in life is the best part.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: July 22, 2023, 03:37:28 PM
If someone claimed they have the right strategy for gambling and winning more times than losing, why can't they use the strategy for themselves and change their lives first?

Why did they go around looking for people to teach? This is why experience after following a friend to a gambling group on telegram, but I am not ready to take the step in any other their predictions..

My question for you my friends is are there sport betting groups that gives betting calls that are legit? Because I believe that if anyone knows a way to change their life around, they won't tell anyone, they will enjoy the moments and pray it last forever.

People are getting hopeless with their gambling so they seek help from other gamblers too, if this is a sports gambling there's a normal thing that they are seeking for the groups trying to bet too because they want to have a tip or secondary opinion of other people. Personally, I always make a background check for the gambling event or the sports event happening so I can make a decision but not all games I know even though I have data, it takes time to do a review to check if the team is currently ideal to bet with or not reason why I check the groups if they tried to bet too and if they place a bet already and what are their thoughts. But seeking a mentor in that case its a big no for me. They are just lazy to check an information.
1719  Economy / Gambling / Re: How much time for a Duelbits withdrawal? Been 24h+ on: July 22, 2023, 12:04:26 PM
Did you contact their support already in their platform? They have an active chat support immediately reply from your concern instead they have a representative right here that can contact with your concern.
I made a payout always to their platform. If you received the payment you can now close this thread using the lock button in the lower left.
1720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 22, 2023, 04:27:25 AM
To quit gambling is not easy when you have played gambling and lose or gain in gambling you may be likely to play gambling because you want to make it with gambling, so only the zeal alone will make you to think that gambling is make you to be rich and you will need to recover all the money you have spent in gambling, so I believe that gambling is something I know that you started it, it will be very difficult before you can quit from it, except you have transferred to the place you are to another place and the will be no access to Internet for some period of time and mainly a six months without Internet and constant observations

Even if someone is transferred to a place where they are restricted from using the internet, as soon as they return to their place, they will definitely start gambling again. In order for one to stop something that they are addicted to, they must first have the willingness to stop it; otherwise, it can't be stopped. Just like you said that it's difficult to stop gambling, yea, but that's mostly for those who are very compulsive gamblers, and it's very unethical for one to allow themselves to get so addicted to something that takes control over them instead of the opposite. I think that one of the first steps to stopping gambling is to have the willingness to stop it.

Even though there's no internet included there's gambling already those are the form of offline gambling like betting game casually with your friends or a particular place, they keep gambling in table top games, casual games like billiards or even fighting events there's always a betting the only need to do is to change the environment you are coming with those are the most influential to your part, this could serve as a treatment to your self to preventing playing gambling reason why control yourself too.
