1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble till old age or not on: November 11, 2023, 10:58:14 AM
I think everyone old age should be free from the drama of gambling, the tension that gamblers face sometime can get to you especially if you are old and still gambling and just like you said mate, only an addicted person would be thinking so fundly of actually continuing his gambling habits even when old and going as far as  adding it to his retirement plans. I, for once am sure that wouldn't be my plan when I do get old instead going on a vacation as you have said would be the nicer way to spend your old age especially when you have lots of grand kids that need your attention  Grin
I would like to agree on this point that those people will make gamble in his older age those are addicted. But here's the thing if he can afford it I don't think there's anything wrong with that. But I think that most of the time when we get old, various physical infirmities come and in most cases, gambling funds cannot be afforded as before.  I have also seen among my own relatives that they had to sell their land for physical gambling even at the age of 75 years. So I also think that it will be better avoid gambling in the older age

People still tend to play gambling because they want to get entertained, it depends on the habit of a person, some of them earn alot of money and of course, want to have some fun with life gambling is one of their nostalgic activities when they are young, but if you are old enough without having a good amount of savings i guess youll focus in your child and grandchild because it's so more fun how they grow every day. But currently base on my experience too old people right here playing gambling not in casino but just a casual game with their neighbors and they could tell this as their bondng.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or gaming sites on: November 11, 2023, 10:10:20 AM
I did not know those listed games and didn't play but if those games related to a wage of real money or another asset that is convertible into fiat currency is considered gambling because gambling is a game that most people want to take risks with their wage and wanting to have a return, its a two way of transaction of deposit and withdrawal, still its consider because there's a player winner and a gambling house casino. I will not rather to take a risk than a reliable casino we have here.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A tip for staying resposible while gambling. on: November 11, 2023, 09:26:26 AM
Even though we give a tip to them every time how to make a proper gambling at the end of the day it's their decision action when they start of playing gambling.

...So I have a tip for them you can stick a real paper money note in front of your monitor which will remind you that money is hard to earn and play responsibly or don't play with big amounts.
the note will remind every time that how you earned that money, and if you are controlled and this tip is not very important for you them you can ignore it, but i found this helpful.

Once they already attached emotions while they are playing it's hard to stick with it, only those people who already built their guts and trust in themselves stick to their plan. But those who just get carried away with their feelings make unnecessary and risky decisions. You play gambling at the same time you know the risk you can lessen those with proper management of your gambling habit.

1105  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trading vs HODL - Personal Experience for Newbies on: November 10, 2023, 02:48:30 PM
From the last era of ATH, people have always been active in the market they are oveehwljing with the profit they made and every price action of the market but after those times they are now quiet because you didn't see people keep posting with their profits because they are waiting for the opportunity or else they ignore the bitcoin yet because it's not profitable right now due to some circumstance and market sideways.

Your profit is not yet considered as profit unless you made a withdrawal of your position or sold your asset still it's an unrealized profit or loss. Make a plan and strategy how you will gain profit again for the upcoming halving like you will hold for a long term again or ride with the market.
1106  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Joining this forum has widen my horizon about Bitcoin . on: November 10, 2023, 01:48:44 PM
Like the other forums one of the reasons is to ease and at the same time to help the other people who joined them with their inquiries, concerns, and problems with their crypto journey, if you keep exploring more each day there's a lot of topics created on how to navigate into the Bitcoin or crypto world all you need is to have at least effort and willingness to the things you are doing. As you are newbie im just wondering what you specifically want to learn because no one came here without an objective.
1107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your own casino. on: November 10, 2023, 12:32:42 PM
How many of you have dreamed about having your casino? Be the house and play the always-win game.

In the past years it was different, people who could build a provably fair engine were able to have their own casino, but now we are playing with new rules, the casinos must have a license and games providers, and that's what people are looking for, and i don't say is something bad, the gambling experience on stake compared with the gambling experience on satoshi bones is enormous.

But getting back into the topic, i would like to read some nice histories from the community, those who only dream about their own casino, and those who make their dreams come true.

Establishing one of the biggest earnings right now which is the casino takes a lot of requirement, effort and of course, budget you must need to hire a social media expert, and developer, depending if full stack or a separate team but like other people I hope I can have a business too like gambling of course you can see other people getting entertained with your games plus you love what you are doing included that you are earning too but again not all successful gambling casino will have the same outcome it will depends on the management still ideal if you have the capability to gain more with other if your investment or asset as one of the backup source of income if this casino plan fails.
1108  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies don't leave your coins in an exchange on: November 10, 2023, 12:07:34 PM
This kind of topic is as always continuous and repetitive even though we keep saying that they must need to store their asset to their wallets and not their exchange using still keep doing this and one of the reasons is they can easily manage to sell or buy and opportunity of an asset. There's nothing wrong with it if you keep storing those but again the risk is there you can't tell anything that can happen with your asset if you keep holding it into an exchange. Just like a preventive measure to store in your wallet. Well if you are confident its just a charge to experience if you lose your asset.
1109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holding for long might not be the best option. on: November 09, 2023, 02:57:42 PM
If you manage to buy at the lowest price of the bitcoin like $3k last time of 2019 and hold it last ATH I guess those are worth it times and now the price has a bottom of 25k$ and we know halving is coming to another wave of ATH will get there but again it's not just a straight forward we reach the bitcoins top at the end of the day is still there's some sideways, fluctuate of the market and other factor reason why it considers to have a selling pressure now it now depends on the person who deals with it because if they make a short trade for profit nothing wrong or holding long term or could do both as long as they get satisfies with their earnings.
1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wedding expenses and party celebrations with Bitcoin money. on: November 09, 2023, 02:04:18 PM
Congrats on your wedding, i guess you made a short-term investment in crypto,  and it's one of the small celebrations to the biggest sooner or later once you get into more with the crypto itself, this extra profit will serve a good thing for your new life of start. Again you are in a new era of your self with your family or wife, and bitcoin or crypto could be one of the possible extra income and still ideal if you seek a job that caters to your needs. I guess sooner or later you will realize that you missed out on a good opportunity with the bitcoin position you have.
1111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to maintain proper security measures paying by BTC for an expensive items? on: November 09, 2023, 01:34:27 PM
How to guarantee deals and transactions in BTC BTC world?

By receiving a transaction ID, this is your Official Receipt (OR) as a record and verification that the transaction proceeds already with a designated number of confirmations. Other people before committing the transaction make sure at least 1 confirmation like an exchange is given. You can check the transaction in the following:

Code:
https://mempool.space/
Code:
https://blockchair.com/
Those are just options but not limited to it. Consider too the transaction fees, sometimes its too much congested cause of the fees before proceeding is too much high like recently. Approx ~40 sat/byte.
1112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not perfect, and that's okay. on: November 09, 2023, 01:18:17 PM
As Bitcoiners, it's okay to accept that Bitcoin has flaws but those flaws do not in any way make it inferior. The fact that about 0.25% of all cryptocurrency activities are associated with illicit activities according to  Chainalysis doesn't make it the "tool for terrorism" as the governments want people to believe.

One of the reasons why people are too afraid to use Bitcoin or even cryptocurrency is because of the impression given to us by different sources, for example in movies they are showing all of the cons using of cryptocurrency-related into illegal activities, crime, etc. with the current case scenarios people making a large amount of hacking, exploitation and etc. with the use of the bitcoin as one of their mode of payment, but in the brighter side and benefits of it they didn't seen too much just keep on negative side, this is why we know the essential and perks of using the crypto at all.

It's quite fun watching the Manchester United match while taking part in an event like this, but of the many people, only one made a goal prediction in over 60 minutes, congratulations to alani123 for winning this event. I am quite happy with an event like this and will continue to follow it if in the following week there is another event that is almost the same and I am sure that next week there will probably be more users who will take part in an event like this.

Actually, I thought Man United already managed to kick the goal at the 8' mark but unexpectedly they didn't proceed to count and there were a lot of attempts to make a goal and after 60 minutes i think it can be now a draw match game but no Man United closely they get a goal at the 91'. Let's see if they will commit another goal and win this upcoming match against Luton Town.

1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a “safe haven asset” on: November 08, 2023, 01:12:56 PM
People already look forward to the help of Bitcoin well actually like other assets once you make a good entry it will return a good profit but the difference right here is people think they are safe because if bitcoin moves out with their investment they won't lose too much because its just a small amount they will only feel the lose of the percentage of the asset if they are one of the biggest contributors. Also, people now see the next halving they are now making accumulating of bitcoin as they can because they see the potential of the bitcoin to give profit and we know when it comes to the uptrend of the bull market most of their portfolio will fly.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fund for Bitcoin promotion on: November 08, 2023, 12:18:01 PM
Is there some group which collects funds for Bitcoin promotion? If some group like this can create advertisements for Bitcoin, more people can become aware. Such mediums should be targeted which have reach on audience that is still not familiar with crypto.

They don't need to make an advertisement with the bitcoin, and they don't need to call the attention of everyone with the bitcoin because even though its happened already some of the people, communities or country are still close to the use of the bitcoin so you can't push them throughout, at the first place they didnt benefit too much if they make an advertisement with the small target audience if they want to make changes they need to have widely spread with the large companies or organization that adopt this Bitcoin, but again the main goal of the bitcoin becomes decentralized so expect once most of the people adopt this the platform we are using now are regulated with the centralized platforms because they need to have an approval with SEC additional with it is the Tax or the fees you are need to pay.
1117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening with Bitcoin transaction fees? on: November 08, 2023, 11:49:47 AM
In fact, there's a lot of many reasons can be exchange into other coin wiht a pair of the bitcoin now the active traders make their move in every situation so they grab and scalp each profit, actualy its not the only day, because even this week the rise up of the bitcoin trades are often congested afaik I saw that it reaches for over 4$ just to have a medium transaction there's alot of block transaction stuck because of this number people make trades with their bitcoin. This means people now are keep engaging with the bitcoin network.
1118  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Using a Credit Card Demonstrate Financial Literacy? on: November 07, 2023, 02:06:41 PM
Having a Credit Card (CC) is a responsibility, the main concept of the CC is just a pay later if you think on yourself that you are capable of paying those things you swipe with your CC you do not need to worry about the due, reason why there's a lot of people scared with the CC is they mishandle their cards properly they as always late with the due date cause another penalty every due date they missout lend to the number of increasing of penalties they need to pay, but if you are a responsible holder for sure you will enjoy the perks of using the CC.
1119  Economy / Reputation / Re: "Bitcointalk" is part of my family living life & my "Baby birthday celebration" on: November 07, 2023, 01:56:25 PM
Bitcointalk can be really life-changing, this serves as an additional source of income but again not time there's a signature campaign so as much possible those earnings you've got can be used for future needs for a more stable job, Congrats you @op!

I don't know where he is living actually but I would be very surprised if at one place on earth life would be so cheap that you can earn enough money..

In my country those earnings now can be used to survive on a day or even weekly basis, well depends on how you rent a home, pay bills and other daily needs and of course how many of you are in the house to cater to those expenses.
1120  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Things to avoid as a beginner on: November 07, 2023, 01:39:26 PM
On the 1. I guess you are talking about the Burst posting, some of the members doing those but keep making nonsense post like they are just spamming but there are some quality content with the continuous post could be different factors but most likely because they are trying to reach their weekly quota if they are joined in a signature campaign, I'm not talking as general.
2. Based on my experience never receive any DM for just begging merit, it's useless to deal with it instead keep yourself knowledgeable and be a contributor to the community merit will chase you.

Additionally with your thread too @op avoid commenting into an old thread just to up that conversation again if it's not really essential, we called those as necro bumpers just to meet their post requirements.
