1701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Tips To Aide Successful Sports Betting. on: July 25, 2022, 11:59:54 PM
I believe most gamblers would feel really bad after seeing their history, since they lose more than they earn on long run. Personally I think it's better to stick to a weekly or monthly budget, in case the gambler bets on sports for fun and doesn't practice it for a living. When he loses, it won't be an issue, since there is a limited budget only for that purpose, and when he wins it's going to be a very welcome extra income.

That's why I don't look at my records but wants to maintain my winning stats good as much as I can.

And I disagree with you. Setting up a budget is not effective. It will just lead to a gambler surpassing their budget once they feel pressured to win. A limited budget will just force them to gamble more since there's an eagerness to chase the loss.

Learn how to stop and moderate things rather than setting up a budget.
1702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Gambling be Banned? on: July 25, 2022, 11:59:20 PM
Gambling can never be banned - it is the life support for the people and sometime it is very helpful for the economy for bringing in the revenue.
There is no question about the gambling industry helping to bring revenue to a country. But do not generalize that it's the "life support" of everyone.

I think the figure of speech used was just too much but at some point, that's a fact for a country where the gambling industry is big.

A good example is Macau were around 80% of the revenue came from gambling. If that industry crashes, the country will be doomed as other industries there are not performing well to support the whole operation of that place.

But if the user means literally that gambling is "life support" for everyone, then that's wrong.
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 25, 2022, 11:56:53 PM
Agreed he hasn't lost yet so why mess with his style at this point.

Well, changing styles is not appropriate to do now. There's no need for it and not even a necessary thing to do just to have an advantage. Both boxers reached their respective status because of their usual styles. What they do is enhance and improve it.

In any strategy, the right timing plays a key role. That's what both will try to avoid.

If at some point they found the hole on defense, that might be the "turning point".
1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 25, 2022, 11:53:58 PM

That will have an effect emotionally on a player that if teams show interest to trade you, it will be a distraction playing with that team now. Jaylen Brown might be on that condition now but he has to understand that everything is business no matter how good the player is on that team and shows loyalty.

But for let's say that rumor between Nets and Celtics pushes and Tatum stays on the team, what in world the Celtics is doing. I don't see that the Tatum-Durant duo will be effective in the long run. And besides, the current Celtics are not used to having a solo main player that always does isolation plays to make scores.

The Celtics are working as a team and Durant's playing style is not a fit for them.
1705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 25, 2022, 11:47:14 PM
Will Ginebra be able to bounce back after that big loss? I think I'm going to bet on them all the way, if they will be a slight underdog, I don't mind taking the ML line. Do we have the advance line available already?

No available lines as of this typing. At least, when I checked it on my preferred sportsbook.

But one thing is for sure, don't expect that Ginebra will be a slight underdog. For sure Meralco will be the slight underdog and Ginebra is the favorite since they might possibly bounce back and will not allow Meralco to have another win.

My forecast is, Ginebra @1.7-@1.8, Meralco @1.9-@2.0
1706  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: July 24, 2022, 11:48:08 PM
In this process, especially for football, I think that the big teams lose more power in general. Because supporter support is one of the most important criteria. This season, we will have a more normal season and I think we can watch better matches.

Adopting a new environment will take some time to fully absorb and become used to it.

Having a large audience that supports a team or players really plays a big role in their performance but regardless, they should also be able to play at their best under any circumstances as that's why they are there and chosen as a player. Becoming weak because there's no audience shouldn't be a big problem to bear for long. But anyway, since almost the entire sports league is coming back to its usual scene where big audiences are now allowed, we should also feel now the excitement prior to the pandemic.

The adjustment phase is part of the process after a change in a sports environment.
1707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet (UPDATE) + fixed match on: July 24, 2022, 11:23:22 PM
But anyway, it's good that you've won that bet and don't regret any decision if it ain't your money. That's okay if you're thinking that you should have taken a loan because it's already done but in a situation like having a crucial one.

You just did it right of not borrowing.

However, because OP won the bet, it might give him more confidence to bet with the use of loan money. OP now thinks that the information he got is reliable and always close to winning especially if the said match is going to be a fixed or rigged match.

Aside from that, OP regrets that if only he takes out a loan, he is enjoying big profits right now. Because of what happened that he didn't take a loan but he won the bet, he won't likely want to slip away the next opportunity to bet on the fixed match with the use of loan money.

All I can say is good luck to OP and be ready for the big consequences in case of losing the bet.

That's your money, your rule, and the community's role is just to give advice.
1708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 24, 2022, 11:16:17 PM

I like how the Golden State Warriors didn't complicate things regarding the possibility of signing Kevin Durant and decided to continue next season with almost the same lineup they have the previous season that won a title. It's a good move for them not to pursue getting the rights of Kevin Durant.

Basically, the Warriors also joined the Durant hype and even offer the Nets their possible trade package. Things failed as the Nets ask for more young players in return and the Warriors didn't take the bite.

We can now remove the Warriors from the list of teams that were rumored to have an interest in signing Kevin Durant this off-season.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: July 24, 2022, 11:06:37 PM
Canelo waited for many years before agreeing to a trilogy.

I'm not sure if it's about something to take advantage of GGG's age before agreeing to the trilogy but Canelo claimed several times already that a trilogy is not needed and necessary to do as he clearly won the first two fights. He is also chasing titles during that time for his goal of becoming the undisputed champion before moving up a weight class that is beyond his comfort weight.

Although a bit late that the trilogy is supposed to happen much early, the most important thing is, that it was officially organized and everything is now smooth and just waiting for the official date to come, September 17.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: July 24, 2022, 11:05:38 PM
Many people are very skeptical about accepting something different because they live in a bubble....
They don't know the diversity that exists in this world.

That's why a debate pointing and related to own beliefs such as religions, politics, or something along those genres, do have a never-ending argument since most people on their respective sides will stand strong to support their beliefs and won't allow or welcome any views and opinions.

Related to gambling, I'm sure most gamblers don't care if they saw the same gambler doing and applying feng-shui to their gambling activity. That was just a waste of time for them and won't increase their chances of winning if they will put some fun into doing those stuff.

We can't do something about those people who disrespect the belief.
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 24, 2022, 10:59:57 PM
This should be a great match up and probably an opportunity for Meralco to beat Ginebra but of course this will not an easy game for them as we all know, Ginebra is still a good team and they always like a contender for the title here. Meralco should think for a better strategy, and focus more because this will be one of their hardest games in order for them to reach the top. This is a good rivalry, and the fans really like this one.

I know Meralco likes to give Ginebra its bitter loss this quarterfinal. Knowing they can still play competitively in that game despite Ginebra's good run, and even winning at the end, might fuel their much better performance next game.

Ginebra's LA Tenorio mentioned that it's all about their poor defense that contributes mainly to their loss and Meralco takes advantage of it. It makes sense to point it out as there's not much big problem if we look at their point stats, at least for the entire starters. He also mentioned that if the series is a back-to-back game they might lose another game but since there is a several days before their next game, they can think of a good strategy and point out what are those wrong things they did in that game.
1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: July 24, 2022, 10:52:54 PM
Yes. For those bets that we've made, there's no cash out if you think and believe that you did bet the right one.

The cashout feature will just be an option for me and I won't even bother to TAP or HIT it regardless of the game situation. It's good to win the amount that you expect in return. In the first place, we choose those odds out of our fearless forecast on upcoming sports.

Always hang on to our bets, trust those and patiently wait for the results.

If we won, then good. If we lose it, then move on and prepared for another round.
1713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 23, 2022, 10:03:46 PM
In the unlikely scenario of Golovkin winning the trilogy fight, we can't rule out a fourth fight between these two boxers.
I agree with this, if GGG wins then the trilogy will be tied with a slight edge to GGG due to his age and the fact that many fans think that at least one of the fights was stolen from him.

If GGG won then Canelo will want to fight him again to get the score against GGG in his favor again, and since GGG does not have too many fights left in him another fight with Canelo will be a good idea, as the amount of money he will receive will be way better than whatever any other boxer could offer him.

Regardless of the result and if the fourth meeting will happen between Canelo and GGG after the trilogy, that will take some time as there's already a plan for both about their next fight after the trilogy. I think that won't be changed.

Canelo surely does have a plan now for his next fight after GGG and that might be a rematch against Bivol or other boxers with a title.

GGG on the other hand was ordered by the WBA to fight Lara 120 days or 4 months after the trilogy.

If there's the 4th meeting between these 2, GGG might be around 42-43 years old by that time.
1714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet (UPDATE) + fixed match on: July 23, 2022, 09:59:12 PM
How about the insiders just predicted the winner and luckily the winner was the same as predicted.

That's the common practice of those who want to sell their sports tip. They don't bet their money in real and will just predict who will win.

And if quite some time that they were able to produce good winning stats they will now show their portfolio to people and will be claimed that their winning percentage is high. They will spread their words on most platforms as much as possible.

Maybe OP was also relying on those kinds of tipsters that claimed to have inside tips on the fixed or rigged matches. If that's the real story, OP will surely be in trouble if he subscribed and follow that specific tip with the use of the loan and the result was lose.
1715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 23, 2022, 09:55:10 PM
Both are young, height is almost identical but it seems Luka can do everything.

And critics will say Luka is slow lol. I might agree that some of his moves are predictable but what's the use of it if teams can't do something about it.

That's even surprising that even though he's not athletic and fast (others even called him to do diet), his dribbling skills are awesome and players defending him always have a tough time guarding him. And with his not that tall height, his defenders are also struggling to block his shot because of his fadeaways.

When Luka is doing his signature post, the next thing we will see is surely an impressive move on how he will take that shot. He used on doing that way back in his Euro league days that's why coming to NBA, he's already an expert at that field.
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: July 23, 2022, 09:47:56 PM
I bet on sports myself and yes bet cashout is a cool feature to have because when your team/player is not doing well, you can cashout the bet with some loss but don't lose it all. Also when the game is almost over like your player is 1 set and 5-1 down in tennis, you get peanuts as cashout but it's still better than zero.

I don't know how the algorithm and system work but if the team you have bet is not doing well, I doubt the cashout feature will be available.

It's an advantage to the bookies that's why there's no way they will offer that at some point in the duration of the entire game.

The cashout will just be available if your team is instead doing well and they will offer you something to make you think twice if you will finish the game or not. It's because if you are close to winning or your probability to win has a decent chance, bookies will now offer you to take back your bet instead to somehow avoid paying you in your supposed potential win. It's like some game show where if you are close to winning, they will offer you to take home some amount of money and no need to finish the game.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 23, 2022, 09:40:34 PM
That's right,  Ginebra was able to give Fajardo a problem before because Greg was still playing with them, now he is gone, it will only be Japeth and C Stand that will have to stop Fajardo which I don't think they can. During their dominance, they have lots of experience players, so let's see with the younger ones if they can still repeat their past success.

The key is to not just stop Fajardo but rather teams have to do their best to fully utilized their offense.

Although PBA teams can't be compared to NBA teams, I just like to give a good example related to this. Golden State Warriors is a great example of a team that had poor defense before. Since they are always being dominated inside whether it's offense or defense, they think of a way how to solve that problem without thinking about how to defend purely those giants. What did they do? They utilized their outside shooting so that no need to force themselves to get points on the paint. They changed the NBA with those continuous rainbow shots.

However, there are no PBA teams or players who are closed on doing that currently (I miss Ren-Ren Ritualo's 9 or 10 3-points streak before) that's why they need to find a solution on how to deal with SMB once they faced this team.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Asia Cup 2022 (Japan vs Philippines) on: July 23, 2022, 09:33:27 PM
Good idea, if SBP won't remove Chot as the main coach for the Gilas, they should make it comfortable for him to manage the players that he used to coach in the PBA.
But if it's about the younger players, they should really consider changing it and replace him with CTB whom is more aware and better in managing those young talents.

There was no sign that Coach Chot will be replaced. Therefore, it's good that Gilas will be full of PBA players in the next qualification that knows already how Coach Chot's system works. In that way, players will be comfortable as they are already being handled by Coach Chot. But most of these players are now veterans or currently on their post-prime status now.

But if the wind changed that Coach Chot will be replaced by whoever, they should still force that said lineup and try to acquire the rights of Jordan Clarkson like what they did before. As for me, I'd rather like the young lineup that was handled by Coach Tab after their impressive performance on their FIBA debut. No one even thinks that they can be competitive like that in the international arena.

There's also a concern that why PH is not using any naturalized players. I don't know the reason but since that issue was raised, there's now a call to immediately grant Justin Brownlee his naturalized player status where he shows interest in playing for the national squad last April.

Anyways back to the topic, since this game already ends, OP can now consider locking the thread.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking to start an online casino on: July 23, 2022, 09:23:53 PM
Money is all you do need because you could really able to move and find appropriate team members or hiring professionals for such job but of course you should really still make yourself aware on how this business works.

OP mentioned that he has a 100k budget. I don't know if it's on USD value or what. If OP will hire professionals, I think those will not be partnered with him but rather they will just offer OP their service. Since that's the case, OP still needs to find team members and that's another set for the budget.

As I said, OP can consult first those people around its circle. OP can refer to gambling companies that operate online casinos on their local for business consultation. These companies might help OP since, in the first place, there's a decent budget and might be a partnership. The crypto-integration is now the role of OP.

I have never seen a gambling casino representative here that gives pointers to those who want to establish an online casino that's why it will be hard for OP to find the right people here. That's how difficult to start an online gambling casino with 0 knowledge.

Let's skip for now the discussion about the issue of being "delayed" on any information or updates regarding this fight.

What's your input and feedback guys about Danny Garcia's recent statement that Errol Spence Jr. is too strong for Terence Crawford. When we say "too strong" it means he views the fight as a landslide victory in favor of Spence. I respect his view and even though I'm looking forward to Spence winning at this mega-bout, saying Spence is too much for Crawford is like underestimating the latter.
