Yeah I know haha ugly turn of events. A friend who has been hot lately provided me this pick, put a single unit on it after I looked into it n liked it as well, sadly this is why over/unders I generally avoid, they always seem to miss for me. Hopefully Texas and Oakland can make up for the missed read.

1703  Economy / Gambling / BUBBLE INSURANCE on Sealswithclubs! on: June 22, 2013, 12:20:15 AM
Hi guys,
Many people who play on Seals know me from chat, same username there, KingofSports. I am now offering bubble insurance for any tournament with a buyin of 300 chips (.3 btc) or less, even rebuys*! If I am online and in chat ask me for a quote! If you are insured for a tournament and you have to bubble (finish one out of "in the money") then I will refund you your tournament buyin! I do have a couple basic rules though for you to qualify:

1. At least 90% of tournament entrants must still be alive and not eliminated.
2. You cannot have a chip stacker greater than 130% of the starting chip stack. (Example: If you start with 1500 chips, you cannot ask me for insurance if you have more than 1950 chips.)
***- For Rebuy tournaments you would pay for a certain amount of insurance. If the buyin is 50 chips I will offer you a quote for insurance of 50 chips and a quote for 100 chips of insurance if you bubble. Also if you rebought and have 2x your starting stack I can offer you insurance still.

Obviously I am not around or online all the time but when I am feel free to ask for a quote. Once the chips are rec'd your insurance is considered "booked" and is valid. For some larger tournaments I will send the BTC equivalent to any BTC address you would like as I do not keep much on Seals generally.

Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks!

Currently no play on the Over 6.5 for the oakland vs seattle game. However, I am increasing my wager on oakland ML at same odds of -105 from $131.5 to $210. Current plays and previous post updated. Also adding another play:
Chicago White Sox vs Kansas City Royals UNDER 8.5 -115 Risking $115 To Win $100 LOSS
1705  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBook.biz - Bitcoin sportsbook - Best odds - Very quick transactions on: June 21, 2013, 07:55:41 PM
Hey,
I had someone in the Sealswithclubs chatroom join bitbook.biz using my referral link bitbook.biz/?referer=kingofsports7 and they aren't showing up on my affiliate page. Their username is "****". Also what is the specific rules/payouts for affiliates. Do ALL bets count for affiliate pay or just a certain odds or better?
1706  Economy / Gambling / Re: CasinoBitco.in - Sportsbook and Casino : Free 15% on NHL and NBA Future Bets! on: June 21, 2013, 06:19:44 PM
Something new the owner forgot to mention as I noticed this morning. Their max is only .5 btc however they offer dimelines now for MLB, Which is def a plus. The owner has been nice when speaking to and on the site you can even cancel your wagers for whatever reason if the game has not began, a definite big difference from many books here. Just sharing my experience as a player. (I am not related to the owner in any way and I use this book, bitbook, and bit365.eu for my btc wagering, all are good books).

I'm trying to do a 3 play parlay for .01 and won't let me.  I'm talking about actually pressing the "place bet" button, that's where it stops me.  It lets me select the Heat -5.5 but not play it.

It's got me worried about the capitalization of the book.  Like, can it pay out?  Lower the max bet if it's a problem!

I discussed this awhile back with the owner of bitbook, to me they are very well funded, however there is always a risk of a book going broke. I honestly think this managing risk thing is a good sign though that the book is here to stay for a long time and not run off or run out of funds. They manage their risk effectively whereas previous books have no and will accept ALL wagers. IMO you should keep most of your funds in a wallet outside of bitbook and not keep all your eggs in one basket so to speak, just in case someone hacked all accounts or they ran off / shut down. Also visiting the site today I noticed the max bet was increased to 15 BTC, interesting that you did this. I wish both the players luck and the book luck, personally I can't wait for NFL season. Always my strongest time of the year and has been since I began betting. Will throw down a lot of 5 and 10 BTC bets come NFL sundays Smiley

Also, side note, I know BTC is at $113 each on mtgox, however I believe BTC will reach $100 in the near future. I am paying $100 cash any low cost method (would prefer bank deposit) for 30 BTC in preparation for NFL season of betting. PM me if interested. This offer will remain open as long as BTC is at least selling for $99.25 on mtgox.

Two lines I like for tomorrow, put a little on each. Will update tomorrow if any additional plays or higher wager on either play.
06/21:
Oakland Athletics ML -105 Risking $210 To Win $200. WIN
Texas Rangers ML +110 Risking $100 To Win $110. WIN

Also considering the over 6.5 (-120 currently) for the Oakland vs Seattle game, I normally do not bet over/unders often, however both pitchers have faced the other team in the past week or so and Seattle's pitcher got lit up by Oakland in that game. This might lead to batters seeing the pitchers well tomorrow since they just faced the respective opponent pitcher. However, another thing to look at for over/unders is the weather and wind which the data for such is not out yet. Will let you guys know if I choose to bet it tomorrow. BOL to all.

Lost 1 chip to him in a Dice battle  Tongue Gave me 10 to 1 odds tho!

To clarify there was a random number bot and we played 1 to 100, the game was simply higher or lower then previous number, guess correctly 5 times in a row win 10x bet, he lost on 3rd number haha. It was a fun game while it lasted.

10-0 FT crazy stuff. Thats why if it looks to be too good to be true in sports betting it somehow always ends up losing if u play it  Roll Eyes +8 biggest spread I've seen in soccer I must say.
1714  Economy / Gambling / Re: My Sportsbetting Picks (Record 0-0 +$0.00) on: June 20, 2013, 07:17:52 PM
-166.7 is the american odds of your bet. When the symbol before the number is "-" such as -120 or -150, you risk THAT amount to win $100. When the odds are "+xxx" then you WIN that xxx amount in profit for a $100 wager. So say you like the heat tonight to just win outright, a line might be -300, you must risk $300 to win $100 in profit. Or $3 to win $1 in profit. However what if you like the spurs at +250, then risking $100 would payout $250 in profit, a total payout of $350 back to you if they won. For this situation of washington nationals you must risk 1.667 btc to win 1 btc exactly in profit. On bitbook you will also see decimal odds which are the same payout but can be easier to calculate payouts for some players. For example a -200 line would be 1.50 decimal, for decimal odds you simply multiply your bet by the decimal odds. So risking $200 on a 1.50 odds game would be $200 x 1.5 = $300. For american -200 means you would risk $200 to win $100, so risking $200 would pay you back $300. These are the same payouts just different ways to show the odds for a game. I personally find american lines easier to read/calculate but thats just me.

Also guys check out Casinobitco.in, a new sportsbook that will have casino and sportsbook together in one! They are pretty cool, hopefully my deposit confirms quickly so I can place a wager there on Nationals tonight. I tested their payouts and they are smooth as can be, instant withdrawals and they give you a link to the blockchain.info link of the payout too. Please note, I am in no way linked to the owner, I am just a player that has agreed to test run their sportsbook.

thats a good idea with your record in the title! I am going to chnage mine!

I would put your overall +/- in there or don't put the record there at all, like some have said before if your betting -1000 games you expect your wins to be around 90% thus the thing of your record that matters is how much you are +/-, not really your overall win/loss record so to speak.

A troll from the poker site I play at, who supposedly is gay has bombarded my rep thread with things he would want to do to me sexually. Some of the posts he has posted are in great detail and although I am not against homosexuals at all, some of his comments have left me with a sick feeling. Please if a mod reads this please delete his comments. My rep thread is: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=219526.0
