1721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: please recommend some Altcoins on: December 09, 2018, 03:03:13 PM
I am agreed on the NEM, and Komodo, both coins are good, their project have huge development recently, and I believe they will keep growing. Especially NEM, NEM is starting to be a massive mainstream coin, for both smart contract platform, and also payment coin. I also have some suggestions coin, you may want to check on SUQA coin, this is a mineable coin, with new powerful Proof of Work algorithm, it also give 5% APR interest monthly.
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Logo Contest for GrowthCoin - 1 GrowthCoin Masternode for Winner on: December 07, 2018, 02:44:11 AM
when is the deadline to submit the entry?

1723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What IF? all bounty and airdrops will be payed in USDT (or other stable coin) on: December 05, 2018, 01:40:58 PM
That will be a disaster, one of the reason why the project developer distribute their coin through airdrop and bounty is because it is one of the simplest way to distribute a coin. Other that they got many people holding their coin, they got more market-cap, got more market value because more coin are in the market flow. They also make some people supporting them without any "real" payment. And if this happend, I doubt that ICO and bounty will be as many as it is now. Many project will have some doubt to do bounty, or even creat ICO.
1724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Printers hacked!! Will it affect cryptocurrency wallets? on: December 05, 2018, 01:34:40 PM
Hacking printer is super easy man, moreover if the printer is connected to a network, local or internet. This is just a prank, done by a newbie hacker maybe or by bunch of kids that want to make some laugh. On the other hand hacking any cryptocurrency, at any stage, cracking wallet or any other hacking related to cryptocurrency is way more complex. Not only you need to have a really good hacking skill, but you also need a big compute power. What I am saying is that hacking printer and hacking cryptocurrency is in far different league.
1725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will waves price touch $5 by the end of this 2018? on: December 05, 2018, 01:27:03 PM
Let's not be overhyped about this thing, we all know that waves is a good platform, it is a great project with numerous breakthrough development in the blockchain field. But looking at the cryptocurrency market now, not just waves, even bitcoin is struggle to keep its current price, not to mention it is nearly impossible to reach its all time high. So, I do not say that waves price will not increase, but 5 USD is too much man. It will be so hard for waves to get that price by the end of this year.
1726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Supporting new projects can lead to a better future. on: December 05, 2018, 01:23:41 PM
Yes, indeed that we need to keep moving forward and keep inventing. However, most of the new projects that come up now, are very similar or actually are the same, they only have a different name. Most of blockchain projects now are about AI, renewable energy, gaming platform, etc. Only small amount of that projects actually solve a real-world problem. A food crisis maybe, I have never heard blockchain project that succeeds bringing new idea on agriculture, and food source.

1728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value lost with the fork on: December 04, 2018, 01:37:43 PM
I don't know that fork can cause the price drop, it is possible but I don't think for give significant effect to the market value of a crypto. The main reason why bitcoin and crypto price keep decreasing are these things (in my opnion):

1. Scam projects that make crypto look bad for new investors.
2. Fake bad news about crypto.
3. Whale that own so many bitcoin, (75% of bitcoin supply own by small group of people) and they start the dump, make other small investors do panic sell.

Those are not easy problems to be fixed.
1729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on blockchain being taught in school on: December 04, 2018, 01:33:00 PM
I believe there has been many schools including blockchain in their curriculum, by school of course I mean, colleges and universities. Especially universities and colleges that has good technology and computer department. Other than that, some of my friends that studying economic also make some paper related to cryptocurrency. I think blockchain and crypto beginning to come into the mainstream. And this is good thing tho, isn't that everything we want, since the begin of blockchain?
1730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huobi's mobile light wallet is pretty good for holding coins - you hold the keys on: December 04, 2018, 11:47:45 AM
So Huobi's mobile light wallet just added TRX and EOS and I checked it out. You can manage your private keys and multi addresses as well. Additionally backup/import features are present and you can instant swap coins through a Changelly integration (that takes off a certain fee tho).

Pretty sweet tool. Here is a review:https://walletinvestor.com/magazine/review-of-the-huobi-multi-chain-light-wallet-after-the-addition-of-eos-and-trx/

I don't want to be sceptical but there has been so many wallet that has the same features like you mentioned. Private key secured, multiple wallet. Even some wallets are more advance in term of security, like two factors authentication, fingerprint, and some more features. Is there some features that makes huobi wallet standout, and better than other wallets out there?
1731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which step takes you most time when you join in an airdrop? on: December 03, 2018, 01:47:09 PM
I only join few of them, I don't most of Airdrop worth it, even if they only ask you to promote using your social media. Most of airdrop I am joining is either scam or it does not have any value. And the the longest process of that airdrop is actually the waiting of their coin distribution. Some airdrop even take more than 1 months to finally distribute the coin. I prefer self-drop, it is when you send some ethereum to contract address and automatically you will get your token. But most of this coin also trash.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins for tasks on: December 03, 2018, 01:41:53 PM
What do you mean?, joining bounty is also doing some task right, I know some sites that like freelancer but you got paid with crypto, however as far as I know it's not really popular among the employer, they prefer the traditional way to hire freelancer. I think the only way to earn altcoin is buy doing bounty, if you are into data input, you can offer your service, make your own ANN thread in this forum, in here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0
1733  Other / Archival / Re: ETH NODE! Need help on: December 03, 2018, 01:35:05 PM
Yeah they said that when the first time they give announcement about moving to Casper, and it has been 3 months ago I think, but there are no follow up news after that, they has not been implemented it at all. I hope they really doing it tho, the initial roadmap using PoW/PoS scheme required 1000 eth to setup node, which I think not worth if we see the price of Ethereum now.
1734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About gas gwei for send out token from myetherwallet on: December 03, 2018, 01:28:34 PM
First of all, the recommended gas to send any ERC20/eth token is 8gwei, but it also mainly affected by the ETH network. When the network is busy filled with so many transaction the price of ethereum gas to send your token will be increased. To make sure your transaction is sent successfully, refer to http://ethgasstation.info to check the currently recommended gas. On the other hand, if you use wallet such as myetherwallet, usually their default gas is already meet the currently recommended gas.
