I'm not getting any exact scores today, i'm not fooling myself, but let's try to at least get the first goal right, shall we, i say 31' minute.
1722  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: December 29, 2020, 11:44:11 PM
The problem with that is that VAR is almost always going to be used when someone shoots at the goal or is in the buildup of doing that in a Premier League match so the Yes pick is going to be flooded by leechers who otherwise aren't betting anything.

I don't think this can be spammed really, towards official VAR checks goes only: a] check for a penalty or not, b] check for an offside after a goal or c] rough tackle, check if it deserves a red card (or downgrade from a red card). These are usually marked by live scoring websites like this or this. For example, in today's 5 matches, there was only one VAR check @ Brighton vs. Arsenal match for a potential penalty...and besides odds for VAR won't be that high anyway.

<...>i wouldn't mind if i get a split today...going for Harris 3pts made and LeVert total assists/pts is an option you may also wanna consider.

got the split, but i also went with the above Harris/LeVert combo, it only took around 14 mins to hit, quickie!

Plenty of games around the league today, i got 5 tickets (player props) for the early games @7pm ET, aiming for 3-2 or 4-1.

In a nutshell, i need good games from Garland, Westbrook and Siakam, GSW and Pacers to not lose by double digits, only gonna list my bets, it's too much type these out anyway. [1w, 2w, 3L, 4L, 5w]

edit;  3-2, could have been better though...Siakam with 14 assists in the first two games of the season, and today a big fat zero. Wizards suck, i'm fading them from now on, at least stat-padding Russ got his triple-double. smh
1724  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: December 29, 2020, 09:24:07 PM
@Steve

I'm not sure if this was suggested or asked for but can we get a market for VAR, let's say for Premier League matches?

I don't know exactly where and which bookie it was, but i saw something like this: 'Will VAR be used in this match, YES or NO'. Nobody likes VAR i'm sure, but if we have it available to bet, i will personally be putting money on it more often than not. I've no idea if your odds provider can deliver on a request like this or will there be public interest, but i like obscure markets, will be fun to have one imo...

What do you guys think? Who wants to bet on official VAR reviews? Penalty or no penalty, your ticket wins!  Cheesy

http://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs/machine

I've been playing around with the 'NFL Playoff Machine' for the last half an hour to see all possible outcomes and a few things i noticed; the Rams can still make the playoffs even with a loss, but they need the Bears to beat Green Bay in Chicago, which would mean GB will lose the number one seed (bye) and have to play the Bears at home in a wc game.

Cardinals will go through only with a win in LA, i still can't believe they fall apart at home vs. 49ers last week, but they still have a chance, Goff is not playing, Darrell Henderson Jr. is out, i'm not sure about Akers, so Rams will be seriously depleted for this one. Imagine if they don't make the PO because of that embarrassing loss to the Jets???

Tompa Bay likely to have the easiest matchup, @ NYG/DAL/ or WFT.

edit;

...the Rams themselves basically don't have to care about W or L against the Cardinals regarding their PO spot, as long as GB beats CHI.

I stand corrected, lucky Rams then, i don't see Trubisky pulling this one off.
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 28, 2020, 11:31:56 PM
I have two prop bets for today on the Nets/Grizzlies game.  As you've already heard or read, Kyrie and KD will not play due to rest (not playing back to backs i guess) and S. Dinwiddie is also out with a knee injury which means more playing time for LeVert and maybe even for J.Allen off the bench, by the way, line moved from BK -7.5 to BK +2.5 in the last couple of hours.

LeVert 1+ 3pt + D.Jordan O6.5 rebs + J.Allen O6.5 pts total odds 1.86 won

J.Harris 1+ assist + D.Jordan O4.5 pts + J.Allen O6.5 rebs total odds 2.00 lost DJ finished with 4pts haha

I'm perfect on my Nets picks this season (and preseason), but i wouldn't mind if i get a split today...going for Harris 3pts made and LeVert total assists/pts is an option you may also wanna consider. I hope with KD/Kyrie out, DJ gets more PnR lobs and chances to finish around the rim, i only need 5pts out of him.  Grin

Gl, everyone!

Glad that you guys brought this up, i was gonna ask anyway, which one is it after all:

Guys, what is with the slacking?! Lock you damn picks so I can see how you are thinking haha
Doesn't work that way. You can see other people picks as soon as you lock your own. Doesn't matter if other people picks are locked or not.

or

You won't see my picks because I never lock it

Allowing people to see picks that are not locked could actually lead to abuse, don't you think? Hypothetically speaking, i don't mean this pool or the EPL one, what happens if you join a pool with two accounts, or you are buddy-buddy with someone, you can take an unfair advantage if you are able to see unlocked picks to let's say defend/or attack a top spot in your pool in the last couple of rounds, right?

Also, does anyone know what's the cut-off time to make our predictions, 1, 2, or 5 minutes before the start of the match?

In news that should surprise no one the Washington Football Team has released Haskins

Source: https://www.nfl.com/news/washington-football-team-releases-qb-dwayne-haskins

Pretty eventful week for the guy, first get into a birthday party with strippers violating NFL safety protocols after a loss, then get fined by the NFL and your own team (no longer team captain). Throw two interceptions and fumble the ball once in a must-win home game (sorta), get benched, and released the next day...i mean damn, this dude is a first-round QB pick after all! I know it's early and he is going to get another opportunity, but that's one way to fuck your football career.
1729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 28, 2020, 01:14:33 AM
Edit: had to google after I posted lol.  So this was the biggest halftime lead ever

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/30607630/dallas-mavericks-set-record-largest-half-lead-putting-la-clippers-50-point-hole

PG 13% back at it lol, i swear i had to double check the result, i thought it was some kind of error/typo as i was not watching the game.  Grin

My betbuilder is quite an ambitious one, as  I'm expect a flawless game from Boston  Celtics against Pacers, but you never can tell
https://i.imgur.com/QvwvDlc.png

^GL with this, looks decent on a first glance, though Pacers are not a bad team, and one thing i really don't like about the Celtics is their bench, not much production.

After getting hit hard by my Jazz pick yesterday, i'm back with player props, all i need is D.Jordan to not score over 8pts the rest of the game, he has 0pts at the half.
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: December 27, 2020, 10:00:36 PM
Steelers clinch AFC North, those 3 touchdowns by Big Ben in the second half came out of nowhere, just like the three-game skid they were on until today, nobody saw it coming.

please no more upsets today!  Cheesy

So far only Ravens are doing what they're supposed to do.

Ravens did well from the start, Jaguars fans cheering the Bears TDs was hilarious though Grin, and now with the Jets' win over CLE, they've officially clinched the 1 pick.

edit; need 3 points from the Chargers in the second half for this little ticket to land, wish me luck lol
1731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: December 27, 2020, 03:43:47 PM
I have the Bears and Ravens to win from the early 1 p.m games @1.55 and higher stake, something i picked a few days ago, kinda weird putting money on Trubisky but hey, Jaguars have no room for error lol, they even ruled out James Robinson for this one, so good luck Mike Glennon. I think Chicago has the tie-breaker over Cardinals, and a chance to get a wild card spot if they win their last two or Cardinals lose again next week to Rams, gotta double check though...

please no more upsets today!  Cheesy
1732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 26, 2020, 11:33:41 PM
I lost my bet on the Celtics, and just like @morvillz7z said beforehand KD and Kyrie were just too much for the Celtics...

I was actually able to get one better on Lakers vs Mavericks, but that was a very lucky escape with my Lebron's selection, though
https://i.imgur.com/eBuaEKE.png

Net's is now a real threat, they have already won 2 in a row and they are winning by a huge margin. It seems like the chemistry of Irving and Durant is blending well, they are now the best duo in the NBA, so I think I won't back against them in their succeeding games.

Nets are clicking on all cylinders right now to the surprise of many. If they can stay healthy, maybe add a guy or two before the trade deadline, and get Spencer Dinwiddie comfortable in this new role of his (less touches/PnRs, overall usage)...they are the team to beat in the East imo. (early overreaction) hehe

Anyway let's get back on track, my single bet for today is Jazz FH/FT vs. T'wolves @1.56 (boosted). rip
Not really crazy odds here but i'm very confident in the above selection, Jazz played really well vs. Blazers the other day, they have a healthy Bogdanovic now and a solid bench in Clarkson/Ingles and Favors (who is back after spending a year in New Orleans). This should be an easy win for Utah.
1733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: December 26, 2020, 06:56:40 PM
You're hurting Gronk's feelings but you won that one barely half a quarter into the game. Well done.

Thanks, that didn't really take long, kinda surprised but the way this game is going, it really doesn't matter who i picked, everyone will score.  Cheesy

Bad luck, this should have been a lock.

Yeah too bad, to roll your ankle on the first drive while the play was over, i mean injuries...what can you do, the risk of prop bets. Lions probably won't hit over 10pts now with Chase Daniel, i will take the split though.

Tampa Bay @ Detroit +12.5 (1.73)

Stafford's injury is likely to ruin this one for you, maybe AP and Swift come back in the second half and save the day,...who knows?!
1734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: December 26, 2020, 05:41:43 PM
Lol, 7 rushing TDs, 0 passing.  Not your usual outing for the Saints and Brees.  That was an amazing performance by Kamara, 6 rushing TDs matches the league record, set in 1929, a 91 year old record.  That was damn cool to watch.

I was able to catch his 6th and final TD, witnessing history right there, absolutely insane stat line by Kamara. I also read that Taysom Hill took one TD away from him at the goal line, imagine setting the all-time record with 7?  Shocked

Even the announcers were talking about the fantasy implications.  I'm sure that won the week for anyone with Kamara on the team, and possibly sealed the season for many.

50+ fantasy points by one player is something i have never seen before, i'm not sure if that's a fantasy record but damn, looking back, i drafted Saquon Barkley instead of Kamara, that didn't quite pan out. haha

Here's what i got for Bucs @ Detroit game which starts soon:

Bucs O1.5 TDs + Evans Anytime scorer @2.07

I've zero doubts Tampa will score two TDs or more in this one, and Mike Evans is Brady's preferred target in the red zone.

Stafford 1+ TDs + Lions O13.5 pts + Hockenson 30+ rec yards @1.68

I don't trust Bucs secondary, hence i think Lions can put points on the board, Stafford might have more freedom in choosing which pass plays are called as their interim coach Bevell is out due to covid. Hockenson had a bad game vs. Titans, but i expect him to bounce back (might even take one as him scoring a td). In his previous three games: 1TD, 28 targets and 216 rec yards.
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: December 25, 2020, 11:10:33 PM
I'm not watching the game but damn, whoever has Kamara in their fantasy team, congrats on winning your league, almost 100 yards and 3 rush TDs AT THE HALF.  Shocked  Didn't have much time to research the game today but still ended up with this, i need 49 passing yards from Brees and 19 rec yards from Jefferson, easy peasy, right?
1736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 25, 2020, 08:07:29 PM
Miami Heat currently closing it out against Pelicans, now in the 4th.

1 out of 2 on my first bets of the day, Ingram easily covered his 22.5 pts spread, finishing with 28 but a brutal start of the second quarter for NO (4-23) messed up my second one, even though they were within 7 in the 4th, it was just too much, Heat bench (almost 50pts) completely dominated Pels, nothing out of JJ.

So my pick is Boston +3.
I'll be tailing you on this one, I totally underestimated Boston in the opening game, but never again  Cool

Am i the only one thinking Nets gonna cover without much hassle? I watched both preseason games and the win over Warriors, and they looked great, not to mention that one of the preseason games was against Celtics and they blew them out of the building 113-89. I'm not saying it's going to happen again, but boy KD and Kyrie played exceptionally well, Nets just have way too many options on offense, plenty of ballhandling and 3pt shooters, and a super deep bench on top of that. I have Nets FH/FT  Smiley

i need just one corner spot-up 3pt from Oubre....please  Cheesy (edit; 0-6 vs. Nets and 0-5 today, cmon man)

edit2;

not my day, 1-3, as i've just lost my Nets FH/FT bet...
1737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 25, 2020, 04:58:05 PM
I took Ingram's points spread and Pelicans to cover in separate bets to kick off the Christmas specials, i'm absolutely ready for the next 12 hours of basketball, let's fucking go...haha   gl everyone with your selections and happy holidays!  Wink
1738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: December 25, 2020, 12:36:24 AM
I ended up putting in a bet on Cardinals ML for 1.43x.

Same, i'm very high on the Cardinals this week, i've secured -4.5 early, don't want to see the line move close to 6.5.
Murray is a nightmare matchup for banged-up 49ers, who will also be without Mullens, Mostert and Deebo on offense, so yeah.
I'm not sure why SF are risking with Kittle here, a meaningless game, dude's been out for a while with foot injury, why play him? I don't see him make a difference with Beathard at QB anyway.

edit; CARDINALS WYD  Embarrassed

I don't really care for this Haskins guy. Went out celebrating at a strip club after his last performance, got fined $40k, wasn't even wearing a mask. The worst part of it was he had lost that day's game.

Does anyone know what's the exact NFL protocol for covid violations? Broncos were left high and dry not allowed to have any QBs vs. Saints a couple of weeks ago, and this dude has been practicing through the week and likely to start on Saturday (less than a week), i mean what is that?
1739  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: December 24, 2020, 10:08:44 PM
Watford until they fired their manager too (seriously, why, when they're not THAT bad?)...

Lol, say what?

This is news to me, and frankly quite shocking, Watford really sacked Vladimir Ivic??? They literally have one the top defenses in the league and are top 6 from the start of the campaign, like seriously, one lucky penalty for Brentford and an away loss to a tough Huddersfield team and you get rid of the coach, please...

Maybe Ivic should be grateful he was left to coach for 20 games, how many coaches did Watford had last year??...yeah exactly! This is just plain dumb!

edit;

<....>you could put me in charge and I could make this team top half of the league<....>

Get your garbage shitposting sig spam somewhere else, please and thank you!
1740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: December 23, 2020, 11:26:14 PM
We had only two games yesterday and i ended up with like 5 bets one the Nets/Warriors, i was heavily invested on the Nets, as you can see [1, 2, 3].

Today, 13 games on the schedule (well actually 12, Rockets/OKC game is postponed) and i can't make up my mind to even take one bet, hehe just way too much info/lines to process, it feels overwhelming, especially if you had very little time...Smiley

I will update this post if i find something interesting/worth betting on, TOR/NO and BOS/MIL are the games i'm focused on, trying to find some good value.

edit;

Beal under 28.5 pts + 76ers -0.5 total odds 2.12 lost

Beal didn't play in all of WAS preseason matches, afaik he is also dealing with a back injury. Now with Westbrook, i don't see many of those 30+ pts games he had last year, and besides, the 76ers have decent perimeter defenders, no easy matchups for him (except for maybe Seth Curry).

edit2;

A.Gordon over 12.5 pts + Magic +14.5 total odds 1.92 won

I watched a little bit of Magic's last preseason game, A.Gordon looked pretty good, 15-20pts should be within his reach in this game, Heat only play one big guy at a time - Bam, so it's either Butler or Harkless on Gordon, i also don't expect this to be a blowout game.

edit3;

Melo, CJ and Robert Covington to score at least one 3 pointer each @1.62 lost
