Damn what a shit storm... you guys couldnt handle this in pm? Oh well.. so the ico I bought through ccex, I'm shit out of luck or can we get our btc back?
The exchange holds the BTC so you should get it back. They don't release it to dev. until ICO is complete. Those who sent direct to dev. will need to contact him. |

I believe it was a great idea - a great partnership and the dev. had the best intentions.
But... it required dev. to dig into his pocket with the CAT deal he made. Had he done so
up front, I believe he would have had no problem with the ICO selling well if not selling out.
Many, like me, were probably waiting to see if the CAT licenses were purchased. I would
have jumped on 20,000 build (and not for wallet creation) just for the CAT license.
Then, sold the Build at market 30 or more days down the road.

You people... to much talk for nothing. You dont give the time to the dev even to release the wallet. If you don't like ico, don't buy, but let him release his project.
I liked the ICO when it was partnered with CAT and it was pure genius. Get people to buy 20,000 coons and hold for min. 30 days to get the CAT license. But when he did not honor his agreement with Sampey how can I expect him to provide the CAT license now at full price. |

Ok guys, no way to get the guarantees i need (and you need, of course).
I don't want to have associate my name/project with this project.
I tought this was a serious project. BUT, when things change from X to Y without respect agreements there's something shady behind.
So i'm out.
Please change OP and Remove all the part about "C.A.T. Partnership"

Sampey I totally understand and agree with your decision. "A deal is a deal - One should honor their word". I was looking at this project specifically because of the C.A.T. agreement Now it is clear that is no longer available - nothing left for me here. |

For a long time I have been trading on Cryptsy but I have stopped doing so because of their continuing incompetence withdrawing BTC.
I just want to say that I switched to Cryptopia because they trade HBN as well as CAP. As long as we don't have a bigger exchange, I would like to invite everyone who is encountering the same problems to give it a try.

Hmmm, This is not meant to endorse or create discourse in the conversation. Merely an observation, IMO, as others may differ. Whether by original design or the natural sequence of events to hamper dumping , Fly's design is becoming a parallel of a government style tax system. The Superfly wallet emulates the Gov tax authority , collecting tax. The Transactions fees emulate the sales tax charged during transactions. The 10% fee on staking emulates the income tax. I only mention this , so you can use it to help predict future events with Fly before they occur, By studying the percentages charged in the real world economics for sales tax and income taxes, seeing what rates have beneficial verses negative effects, should help you optimize the Fly Fee Structure to minimize future discourse. ----Snip----  Great observations and suggestions! I would add that many coins die or suspend development because the coin is not funded. The dev. dumps and walks. Here everyone pays the Tx fees which go into the SuperFly wallet. A portion is set for development - the balance is set to come back to the Small holders who claim name, etc. What it does is effectively reduce the current rate from 50% to 45% which is still not a bad stake %. but then, reward those that are holding with SuperFly rewards. Since the top holders are not eligible for SuperFly rewards they pay into the system but do not get any FLY out. The smaller holders then get the effective 45% rate plus the bonus distributions. This % is an initial starting point with plans to reduce the fee as the wallet development slows to periodic inprovements. Distributions to small holders will always continue. One new feature I like is the always automatically updated bootstrap found in the Ann. |

Did anyone have thip problem with the wallet returning
"EXCEPTION: St13runtime_error
CDB():can't open database file wallet.dat, error -30974"
I deleted all files (except wallet.dat), created the new .conf file and re-sync, but the same error appears.
It happens at the beginning with some 2.5-3% of the sync being done .
I get the runtime error every time I close the wallet
it doesn’t prevent it from working i guess.
But anyway if you like to try to get rid of this, try two things
First (easy) try:
open the Debug Console, type repair wallet, restart
if this doesn’t help:
backup your wallet.dat
export your private keys as described here:

shut down your wallet, delete the wallet.dat
open it again (new wallet.dat will be created)
import your private keys
restart the wallet

Personally i would reccomend to dev to wait a month staking without sell for growth the network weight and after that we should have better stakes and bigger buy orders in sandg, if we lose relative weight in the staking coins every time we will stake will be more painfull
I agree completely concerning stake weight. However, leaving BTC pending on Cryptsy is a risk. To get my funds off, I canceled the BTC W/D and bought DMD which is W/D fine. Anything you can get off is good though. More and more coins going into maintenance is not a good sign. |

Use exchanges that allow BTC w/d's
I agree DMD is a great coin but you need to buy enough to be able to stake.
Same problem as HYP need large blocks - large for DMD being 400 DMD

If I understand part of the reason to buy is 20,000 Build (.2 BTC)
is it gets me a C.A.T. license which usually costs .5 BTC
But C.A.T. says he asked for guarantee (money - not words) but received no guarantee.
That means I have to buy 20,000 Build and hold 30 days and trust that you actually buy the
C.A.T. licenses at discount and deliver them (not in wallet per C.A.T.). That's a lot of trust.
