1721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are not dead, just maturing in a positive way. on: October 17, 2018, 03:09:02 PM
I wrote this before, and am writing it here now. I would really like to advocate for institutions and VC money entering this space. Let me know your comments.

The fervour and bullishness of the Initial Coin Offering (ICO) of 2017 is long forgotten, and markets are maturing to a steady state. Regulations are becoming clearer, and talks of the Security Token Offering (STO) become common place. Where has the ICO gone? Simply put, its still there. Just not so ‘public’ and often anymore. Indeed, the velocity of token sales done in recent months are declining exponentially.

Private and/or institutional sales

It is well-documented that most ICOs today are sold largely (up to 95%) to private placements, consisting of institutions and High Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs). These private offerings are completed with generous discounts before release to the public (no discount), or at times listing straight to a crypto exchange thereafter.

Equity and/or hybrid token offerings

As more VCs venture into this space, more traditional instruments of financing are being promoted- be it equity, convertible loans or token buy-back agreements. These instruments are important to ICO progress in two ways:

1. They bring about security to investments by holding the issuer/start-up accountable to the ICO.
2. They allow institutional investors a channel to buy into ICOs. Without which, most VCs do not have the authority or mandate to buy tokens.

The future of ICOs

Due to predominantly private, VC-driven ICOs, it is easy to mistake that the democratised, token-based ecosystem is regressing, or worse, ceasing to exist. ICOs today seem to model traditional fund-raising routes (which kind of defeats the purpose doesn’t it?).

However, it is useful to consider that blockchain start-ups and projects are not at all like other start-ups due to the existence of a secondary market (crypto-exchanges)— a very large one in fact. This means that most projects will still have their cryptocurrencies distributed over a larger pool of users/customers/investors.

As the crypto industry and regulatory environment continues to evolve rapidly, the idea of more compliant, accountable and funded ICOs cannot be bad.
It needs the more time for ico to evolve, ico still get a lot of demand but remember the market was giving a lot of domination to the interest to participate in the ico too. It's not dead but it needs more improvements especially we know that it needs to be stricted. A lot of countries are thinking about the potential of ico right now.
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next bull run is coming on: October 16, 2018, 02:13:21 PM
Hello guys;

I think that another bull run is coming, bitcoin will moon then altcoins will moon after, even if SEC rejects or delays ETF this September 30th. But I expect a big sell-off before that, which will conduct the total market cap to reach its ATL this year Under 200 billion USD.

What do you think guys?

right now investor already given up SEC. wall streets investor already looking for other alternative to go in crypto market through different way. SEC is just in the way.
Seriously? even SEC doesn't even release anything that related to the ETF annoouncement and these investors are still betting on it. I thougt that you have misunderstood about what has alredy happened with it. read the latest news about that and then learn more about that.
1723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your Opinion on Graft (GRFT) on: October 16, 2018, 02:11:42 PM
Hey guys, what your end of the prediction for Graft (GRFT)?
Do you think it can rise to 0.5$?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/graft/
It doesn't even have a lot of daily trade volume and how could you believe if that will be worth around $0.5 in the future? does it make sense? the daily volume tradace can represent how popular that coin is. I thought that you must learn a lot about this case dude. It's really important for you.
1724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum $ 218 is a bottom or a springboard. on: October 16, 2018, 01:13:32 PM
Today Ethereum costs only 199USD, so I can tell you that 218USD is not the bottom for sure. I see bottom around 160-180USD for 1 ETH.

Nobody still knows where this bottom is. I want to believe that in a few days, or weeks, Ethereum will start the fastest rally in its history and hit the same top he reached once last winter. I believe in this crypto.
Still talking bullshit about next bullish trend? you should watch the crypto market right now and there was no a lot of support to make it becomes a true story dude. So many times i have heard that so many people are talking bullshit about and then they are all wrong about their prediction with the cryptocurrency.
1725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 reasons to start playing blockchain games on: October 16, 2018, 01:11:59 PM
These games are still in rudimentary stages, more suitable for kids. That's why I haven't actually played any although I know a few of them. Also, you do need to invest some in order to start playing.

That's why I do not play such games. Perhaps in the future they will have much more opportunities and I will turn my attention to them.
I think that gambling remains a gambling, it does not matter to play for paper money or for cryptocurrency. If a person is too passionate, then with a probability of 100% he will lose everything.
I know only the game of cryptokitties. This is an investment game that takes up all your time and the profit does not match the time spent. Game for children

I would doubt that. There are way more crypto games. You can google it and you will find
Have you seen the crypto games that achieves a lot of popularity among the crypto users? Crypto kitties was only a short hype crypto games after a lot of people have been realizing about the truth of cryptokitties is not more than just a shild's game. Remember nexium has released its game too but it's already delisted from steam.
1726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the start of the bullrun already? on: October 16, 2018, 01:00:19 PM
Bitcoin flare sparked hope for the bull in yesterday. However, in a moment, bitcoin sank from 6300 to 7800, then when the solute, BTC/USDT back to less than 7000 back makes me see through the technical analysis of the current Bitcoin very bad and down trend is likely in the next few weeks

Consider about in a few weeks we will see SEC decision about bitcoin ETF. if that will be getting another rejection and that will be actually creating another big dump to the price of bitcoin. And i just try to prepare myself for that. AFAIK the bitcoin goes down when there was a bad news regarding bitcoin ETF
1727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEXT SLEEPING GIANT on: October 15, 2018, 03:36:05 PM
I think some sleeping giants are Byteball and DOGE, as we know that Byteball and DOGE are old coins that have been tested and supported by a very professional team, I'm sure when the market recovers then Byteball and DOGE will skyrocket.
DOGE was skyrocketed some weeks ago, so it will not rise so high again than now. But i agree if doge is one of stable and oldest coin which still has big community until now
It's getting a huge pump caused by the ethereum was working on the cross blockchain platform with doge coin. But you can't expect a lot from there because i have no seen any usefulness from there. just like you can get cheap transaction fees when you are using doge blockchain. That's the only point to create a cross blockchain platform.
1728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After ICO on: October 15, 2018, 03:33:32 PM
Hello all,

There's one thing I have ever noticed, after ico the token price dropped drastically could anyone explain why such is happening...
Eg, there are some tokens are I have in my wallet which I want to trade since then till now I have been waiting for the price to come up but instead decreasing. What do I do in this scenario?
There was a lot of reasons for that
1 the pre-sale investors are thinking they are in the profit and they are dumping it instantly.
2 It caused by the bounty and the market doesn't have a lot of support to keep the price of token
3 The trend of crypto and more reason can explain about that but the number 1 will always become the main reason why the price of icos dropping a lot.
Ubex can become the best example for that
1729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the USDT crashing? on: October 15, 2018, 03:30:13 PM
Some people say that the mission of the USDT was created to collapse. Why does OKex trade all large-scale USDT futures explosions? This caused the entire market to start exploding, and coins such as Bitcoin Ethereum rose rapidly, and BTC rose 13%. Is this situation beneficial to this market? Will the collapse of the USDT cause the entire market to collapse? What do you think will happen in the next situation?

I honestly think that they knew something about USDT that they are trying to get rid of it. That is also the reason why Bitcoin pumped for a while.
Have you watched the latest news about implosion of USDT? But this news gives a little insight about that https://cointelegraph.com/news/tether-tanks-as-traders-lose-trust-other-cryptos-see-price-boost
A fake news about USDT just like that. these guys are spreading fear about that. TUSD has become another reason too. It's an inside job in my opinion.
1730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you make money from ICO? on: October 15, 2018, 03:26:44 PM
An initial coin offering is similar in concept to an initial public offering (IPO), both a process in which companies raise capital, while an ICO is an investment that gives the investor a cryptocoin, more commonly known as a coin or a token in return for investment, which is quite different to the issuance of securities as is the case in an IPO investment. Do you invest in ICO? and has you make money from it?

I think you know the answer even though you are a bounty hunter. all investors always expect an impossible profit to want a loss, this is the logic even though in this industry there is a greater risk. so you have to find knowledge about ico investments, products and their uses.
I don't even understand about what's the point from your post but these ico traders are expecting short term profit by investing in the ico. They are expecting a huge instant profit from their money that they have invested it in the ico. This has become an usual thing. These ico traders are searching more and more good ico for that,
1731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is altcoin worth investing? on: October 12, 2018, 03:07:13 AM
I think for now the price of Altcoin is very cheap on the exchange market, because there has been a price decline since the beginning of this year which caused the price of Bitcoin to decline so that followed by Altcoin has decreased. If you have funds, I recommend buying altcoins at this time, the price is very cheap.
And for a bounty campaign, it's still valuable, but rarely find a very good project.

Any recommendation on where can I find a good project for altcoins? as of the moment, I'm really desperate in order to get back what I've lost in the huge decline of price in the crypto.
What I see now is that the price of the altcoin is very low in the market but I am sure that the market decline began earlier this year will be back soon because there are many people who have lost their coins, especially to the present price of Bitcoin yet altcoins all fall back and follow the movement of the bitcoin

They are not selling at peak price and then you can take a conclusion about that dude about how it has become a very interesting thing in these days. the daily trade volume on the major exchange sites have been creasing a lot from the last week and it needs a lot of support to make the price to go up again.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment reality on: October 12, 2018, 03:05:49 AM
Getting full crypto adoption might reveal the most challenging task there is. It might fill impossible like it was on 2010 to think that BTC would go to $20K but it happened, so I feel like full adoption can happen as well. It's not this amazing think all talk but impossible to reach, we can get there and like you said it has to start with us even with the small things that you think are irrelevant

Yes, that it's true. Ready or not, the mass adoption will come. It can happen in the next month, in the next year, it can happen in anytime and if it happens, and in that time, many people will join the cryptocurrency. They will know the new investment is revealed but some of them doesn't know that the cryptocurrency was launch in a long time ago. So what we can do now is still survive in this year and still hold what we believe because soon, it will become reality.
It will not happen until there will be a lot of usefulness and product that can be used in our real life. But crypto is about to replace the old system with a new one. Just try to survive and try to take any wise decision to avoid the more loses on this bearish market. i could say that crypto is about the revolutionary thing in the economic system
1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: October 11, 2018, 10:55:48 PM
I think, it's the best time to buy sometop altcoins, just like Litecoin, XRP, eth, and invest a few in small perspective alts, which you would prefer.
sure, top altcoins are the best buying now, it can reduce lose if wanna invest on bad market
make sure that we are patience until up, dont worry it would be up
It's not about top altcoin or not because in fact that we are getting another bearish trend and this will be so long before we can meet another hype or big bubble again.
this about to get the best line to consider it as the best time to buy crypto and this red market can be considered as the best buy line.
1734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: October 11, 2018, 10:54:18 PM
Sure, a lot of them should be and there are still alot of them on a life support by now which will possibly die as well,  because all projects are scam the ones who makes enough through their ico or those ones who thinks they can still make more money be keep trying are the ones left behind and you call them real project, we are all here for making money and change our lives for good apart from that no one is ready to help the other like they mostly says the benefits of their projects.
Initially, you need to take into account the fact that a lot of the project is fraudulent, and there are also projects with weak teams and with minimal relevance in society. And also it is necessary to take into account the current state of the cryptocurrency market, which, in turn, will have a very strong and negative impact on the development of many projects. Based on this, it is indeed possible to assume that most projects will die.
The problem is we don't know about how competence someone in that platform. most projects will die and almost more than 60% of coin that listed on CMC can be catagorized as die coin. you can see that how it has become a true story but CMC still counted it and not delist them all.
1735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying NEO on: October 11, 2018, 10:51:04 PM
I think that NEO can be a substitute for Ethereum. As for me, the coin has a lot of potential for growth. But it all depends on how the Chinese government will relate to this. So now it's time to buy NEO.
It can't because it has been kicked from top 10 CMC and the only strong candidate that can compete with ethereum is only an EOS platform. Even EOS doesn't have a lot support to compete with ethereum as the second largest crypto in the world. It will be so difficult to determine which is the best one to compete with king ethereum.
1736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LET US- LIST - some old established projects where the dev team is highly active on: October 10, 2018, 10:25:54 PM
obvious answer is obvious: litecoin

it has been around nearly as long as bitcoin and the developers team, specifically Charlie Lee has been active ever since. granted most of it is copying code from bitcoin but still active.
here is the dev profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=20651

there are more coins but i haven't really checked them out regarding their developing status and activity. i mostly am involved in trading them Tongue
example: Namecoin, Peercoin, Reddcoin, Bytecoin,... or big names such as Monero

litecoin - yes of course -

are the others still being actively developed by the original teams too?
Not sure about that but it seems still developer by the profesional team
https://globalcoinreport.com/is-charlie-lee-leaving-litecoin-ltc-for-the-sake-of-decentralization/

Bytecoin should not be included because the latest news from binance has proven it if that coin is not having a lot of credibility right now.
1737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How Far are we from the bull run on: October 10, 2018, 10:23:20 PM
Its been about 8 month since we are in bloodbath. market has not shown any signs of recovery till yet. what do you think that what december will bring to us.. ?

We are being so far from the bullrun because i have already expected that the bullrun will always be happened in a few years again. Expected halving time for bitcoin to be the next pit stop or big update to create such a big bubble again or maybe we will see that when we will be entering year 2021
1738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance delist on: October 10, 2018, 12:19:15 PM
there are so many crap altcoins in crypto market. and some of them were listed in binance. and they were used as pump & dump coin with so many shillings and manipulations. now the ones that still holding them probably lost so much money. so sad.
i've heard about high fees need to pay to be listed on binance, if it's true very interesting what will be with this funds on delisting
There will be no refund for that because they have acquired a lot of daily trade volumes from binance exchange site and they are getting delist from binance caused by their own fault. Binance will give you a resposibility to pay 5 millions dollars to be listed on there.
1739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoinus coin pump when? on: October 10, 2018, 12:16:42 PM
Hi, I have bits coins and waiting for price pump. Do you have any predictions? As I'm kinda new here.. I believe in it but don't have any experience in crypto market. Would appreciate any information. Thnx
Bitcoinus still not yet listed on the coinmarketcap. i don't know the result of their ico but AFAIK they are having a little demand compared with another ico. in my opinion that you can try to search the smartcontract and then check it through use etherdelta or forkdelta service.
1740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your top picks on IDEX on: October 10, 2018, 12:14:36 PM
my top picks altcoins on IDEX Aion and Bob they are promising altcoins for me, it can go moon soon especially Bob token, no doubt that this bob will pump at the end of the year.
bob is a crap coin that there was no a lot of demand. Does it have a useful product? How you can feel very optimistic about the future of bob token? remember the majority of tokens in idex can be considered as pump and dump token and i would not try to take it seriously dude. never
