1721  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory 0.94.1 is out on: May 02, 2016, 03:03:26 PM
ok, i deleted the 0.93 db, but now Armory keeps crashing at the exact moment it ends syncing and tries to load the database headers.

any idea?

edit: ok, rescan&rebuild the db seems to do the trick

the first time Craig Wright said he was Satoshi I watched some videos of him talking. it was so obvious that a person such as him could in no way be Satoshi.

you see, thats a perfect example of whats going on at the moment. the community is in full denial at the moment. people kind of glorified satoshi and everyone had his own version of Satoshi in their minds. now that we actually have him eventually "at hand" they refuse to accept reality and desperately try to cling to their dream version of Satoshi.

pretty tragic if you ask me.

i havent met anyone calling this coin "rubbish" until now, quite the opposite to be true. its the first 3.0 coin if you like.
1725  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory 0.94 is out on: May 02, 2016, 11:15:44 AM

thx
1726  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory 0.94 is out on: May 02, 2016, 11:07:01 AM
I need to delete the 0.93 db cause i have only 40MB left, but i couldnt find the dir/file in user/.armory/databases

where to look for the 0.93 db?

Which OS are you using?

Ubuntu, i just deleted in the databases-dir the blocks directory as i discovered that under .bitcoin is also a blocks-dir with 69GB.

edit: next question: where to get a save version of 0.94.1 ?
1727  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory 0.94 is out on: May 02, 2016, 10:48:33 AM
Is there any reason at this point in time to keep the 60GB database from 0.93.3? I'd prefer to delete it and reclaim the HD space.
Not really. You can delete it if you want, the only point of keeping it is just in case something fails horribly, which I don't think will happen.

Vielen Dank,

1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [IOTA] IOTA Speculation on: April 29, 2016, 01:56:51 PM
I'm willing to transfer the IOTA of buyers from me to them now, if they want.
Of course they could also wait for the final GUI.
Come-from-Beyond told in the chat so far, after one week of testing there haven't been any Roll-Back.
This is a very good sign. So transfering IOTA for me is at this stage safe enough.
hmmm be careful, best solution wait  Smiley

Punkt 4: "Go to the unzipped folder and edit file 'configuration.iri', remove the last line, and save it"

den habe ich einfach mal ausgelassen. Soll ich einfach ".iri" löschen?

und bei

Punkt 9: "Enter seed"  (einfach irgendwas eingeben?

....BUY NOW!!

Its OK that you are selling, but please could you stop that bullshit-talk?

If you are convinced that the price is "skyrocketing" in the coming days and weeks then why are you selling? So please stop this silly barking.  Wink

1738  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 28, 2016, 12:20:25 PM
A big rally requires not only timing but also something to rally around (whether real or not).

One rally was started with the US Senate legitimatized Bitcoin. The last rally was when China got involved and everyone believed all of China would be buying bitcoins.

I think the Winklevoss ETF released before the halving would push the price up over $5,000.

Steam accepting bitcoins is a great boost until people realize that it just means people will be spending their bitcoins that they've been sitting on for a while which will be converted to dollars. (a major merchant accepting bitcoins usually does not boost the price).

The halving should be enough to rally around.
