I'm confused about the re-claim. Re-claim from WHEN? When was the snapshot date? How does this effect old tx and balances?
Deadline to claim? I'm out of the country and need to RETURN to access my seed. etc.

snapshot date was afaik while the network was down, so TXs that were not confirmed at that time are not included deadline afaik (no guarantee) july 2017. so no need to return. |

ich frage mich ob es mittlerweile Informationen über den "Big Deal" gibt? Die geforderte Menge wurde meines Wissens ja erreicht. Überlege mir bei IOTA einzusteigen und informiere mich gerade darüber. Jedoch finde ich zum Big Deal keine zuverlässigen Informatione.
Ich schätze zum BigDeal werden keine Informationen mehr in Gänze veröffentlicht werden. Womöglich auch um Kritik im Sinne von "Und dafür haben wir jetzt gespendet!?" zu vermeiden. |

I am with EK here as i have followed some of the discussions Golem is having in finding a valid and not manipulable reputational system. They seem to have put lots of thought into it, including using lots of scientific articles in that certain field, and havent come up with a solution so far. That leads me to believe if we can avoid it we should try to, imho.
If the community is really undecided in which way to go we can always use EK's nice voting system and vote about a certain issue. Of course not after having a good discussion before..

Throw some of your Brain-Watts Elastics way i would love to, but to give any meaningful advice i would have to invest much more then just a couple of minutes as i would have to catch-up from like 2 months ago. and as i am no coder i could only help in more general decisions or economical questions. but as soon as i have less real-life-necessities i am willing to join in more often. maybe to add some stuff to the wiki also. |

Lisk is on the same level as Voxelus. Much ado about nothing. No innovative technology, no special use case. It's a copy-paste by amateurs who've indeed done well for themselves. But not because they're amazing, but because of the 2016 ICO bubble that I've called back in March this year.
Can you make money off LSK? Sure. if you're a decent trader you can make money off anything. It might reach 40k again one day. But it's not gonna moon. You'd have been better off trading other cryptos these past six months.
Agree, you should have seen the hate of these fools when i announced prices between 0.25$ and 0.35$ before Lisk went on exchanges. Most of them were honestly expecting nothing short from kickin ETH from their throne. Prices of "at least" 1$ were expected, if not 5$. Its satisfying to see that pure idiocy still gets punished in cryptoland. And i agree with your assessment, if any good news emerges markets could react pretty strong given the strong selling in the last weeks/months. But if it continues like it has been better expect to halve from here. |

Also wenn die SEC ihre Entscheidung bezüglich eines BTC ETFs auf der Grundlage der Meinung des buttcoiners schlechthin trifft, dann würde das doch eindeutig zeigen dass es nie darum ging solch einen ETF wirklich zulassen zu wollen.
Stolfi kennt Bitcoin seit Jahren.Er war wohl schon früh dabei und hat nie wirklich mal was investiert.Heute ärgert er sich wahrscheinlich jede Nacht darüber in den Schlaf.Das würde seine leidenschaftliche Abneigung und Hass auf Bitcoin für mich erklären.Der Kerl ist ein extrem frustrierter Spinner der wahrscheinlich die Chance seines Lebens verpasst hat.Und das macht ihn fertig, weshalb er es jetzt auch niemand anderem gönnt.So sehe ich das!
imho wird er dafür bezahlt. bezahlung halte ich für äußerst unwahrscheinlich, der mann ist ja auch kein 0815-troll sondern prof für computer science. der macht das aus leidenschaft und überzeugung meines erachtens. soweit ich weiß hat er sich vor SN vergeblich an einer dezentralen kryptografischen währung versucht. daher der hass auf bitcoin. SN hat das vollbracht was ihm misslang. |

So siehts aus. Immer wieder erheiternd zu sehen das hier wie in einer kleinen Blase immer dieselben Themen besprochen werden egal was gerade in der Cryptowelt so los ist. Ich vermute einer der Gründe dürften fehlende Englisch-Kenntnisse sein, das führt dann zu solchen geschlossenen Systemen. Ganz aktuell mal wieder: Jorge Stolfi (dürfte hier eh den meisten kein Begriff sein) hat der SEC einen bösen Brief geschrieben in welchem er Bitcoin mit den übelsten Vorwürfen belegt. Dieser Brief wurde gestern im Zusammenhang mit der Erklärung zum Bitcoin-ETF veröffentlicht. Aber in unserer kleinen deutschen Blase geht es weiterhin ewig um denselben Brei den Mario jeden Tag neu auftischt. ich finde es gut das du deine Meinung hast. Danke kein ding...weitermachen.  |
