1721  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will reach $1500? on: April 30, 2017, 05:28:53 AM
I say by the end of December for sure, but feeling the summer is a possibility as well.  Your thoughts ?

Definitely the price should reach $1500 this year since the price is already getting close to $1400. It could even go past $1500 at this pace.
Yeah.It is so possible to cross the price more than $1500 these past few months it already reach its ATH before ETF issue has begun.
Maybe now at current price it will continue to go up there is no barrier or issues now to be taken .but we can expect more things to be done.
Looking at the current prices, allowing bitcoins to reach prices over $ 1500 in a few months. It is very difficult to determine when it will happen because bitcoin price is very difficult to analyze, but I am sure it will happen this year.
I don’t know it is possible a crash in the price is coming if the situation in Bitfinex does not get resolved if nothing bad happened I will agree with you, but I think there are too many things that could go wrong for the price to get at that point in this year.
1722  Economy / Economics / Re: Indian Economy at all-time high! What you say..? on: April 29, 2017, 12:57:02 AM
So today is the remarkable day for Indian Economy.
Indian Stock Exchange closed at all time high 30,135, first time 30k+. Moreover, Bitcoin crossed $1400 in domestic market of India.
So how you all guess Indian Economy in coming future. Is it going to be the new super power on international frontier? Does India seeing its best government ever?
Waiting for views....
I don't know much about the India economy but be careful, most of the time you will see analyst praising when a new all time high is reached but they don’t take into account the factor that make that supposed growth as big as it is and sometimes it is not growth at all.
1723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: April 29, 2017, 12:53:54 AM
I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
The answer will depend on how long are you willing to hold, do you want to hold for years then buying at any moment is fine, but if you don’t want to wait but a few months  then I think it is better for you to wait for the price to get lower.
1724  Economy / Economics / Re: The fiat-money bubble! on: April 29, 2017, 12:52:10 AM
Hello everyone.

There is much discussion around the price of bitcoins. Some seem to believe it could fly to a million, while some believe its just a big speculation bubble ready to burst.

My personal theory is that cryptocurrency is not the bubble, but rather the needle that will burst the fiat money bubble. Trough history we have always had an easy way to attribute value to things without it. Those who believe that fiat money is the only true way often attribute their opinion to the fact that fiat money is substainsable because of its centralized nature and its history of being used as a represantation of value.

The fact that bitcoin was created in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crises clearly shows it's intent. I believe Satoshi saw how a centralized regulated market can't be substainable thanks to the egotistical and evil sides we humans all posses.

Decentralized currencies will IMO be the future. I can't peg bitcoin to a certain price it will reach in the future as i usually don't speculate that way, but rather i just develop a bias on a subject and try to indentify the crowds bias as this is what acctualy IS the trend.
The trend for decentralized currencies is bullish overall, with some currencies being more exciting then others. Invest in the cryptocurrency you believe in and do your homework, lets bring the fiat-money world down once and for all!!  Cool

Please share your opinion on the subject, this is my first post and just wanted to share my thoughts, thank you =)

LazyTurtle
This is nothing really new hyperinflation comes from the Romans,  the difference is there is a currency so dominant that if it were to fall it will bring the whole world down with, but make no mistake bitcoin is also a bubble but with the difference that bitcoin cannot be printed at will.
1725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: April 29, 2017, 12:48:19 AM
Hey Guys,

what would be your opinion if there would been Bitcoin shops in big cities like London, Berlin or Paris (also smaller cities).
So you could go inside the shop and buy or sell Bitcoin for a good price.

I think it would be an good (and an advantage) idea because more people would use Bitcoin so the price would rise up and the people who are owning Bitcoins at the moment would have more money in Bitcoins. Wink

Best regards,

Patrick Smiley
I love the idea of a bitcoin shop but I think if someone decides to open a shop like that then you probably going to want open shop in a  place that has lots of bitcoin user, so instead of choosing a city in Europe, you could choose Tokyo now that Japan has recognized bitcoin as money.
yes that is really a good idea, but i think it is also very difficult to survive in a big city, as the expense are much more there as compare to small cities.
You are correct but maybe instead of opening a physical shop you could open a web shop instead with yourself located in Japan to make the logistics easier and in that way get a bigger market share by being right in the middle of the action.
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: April 29, 2017, 12:44:18 AM
better than waste lots of time in the dice site using an that could be automated with a bot
A bot is there in mostly all dice sites but i think he is talking about additional bot which claims to earn you profit. Even though i haven't heard much about a dice bot i think that it does some sort of calculations of your losses and will help you win.
now it has many emerging software that could be a bot on gambling website. I've never tried it, but I am concerned at the bot robot software contained spyware. we should be very concerned about the safety factor.
Without a doubt this should be a concern not only for something like a dice bot but to almost anything you download of the internet especially if you have a wallet in that installation since if it contains spy ware it will be very easy to steal your coins.
better to keep an eye on it , people should reminded about this ,
never safe to download any software from a non well known people ,
seuntjie so far has a good reputation on how he build a dice bot , you can trust him but of course with a lot of consideration ,
if you still feel insecure , why not you try to build one by yourself?

I wonder why do we need to download something from the internet when majority of the online Casino have their dice bot.  We should take cautious in download anything especially if we need it to run in our system.  Best thing here is to run it in a virtual machine and use it to a dummy account.  the withdraw everything from that account once we are done with gambling.
Maybe they don’t trust that the bot given by the casino has all the features they like or they may like to try something else, but as you said when it comes to money it is better to be safe than sorry, so if possible it will be best if you could code your own bot.
1727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is not Ideal, it represents possibilities. on: April 28, 2017, 02:30:06 AM
Three years ago or two years ago, if you asked me what Bitcoin is, I’d tell you it is the future of money. It is managed by the network, not by the government. Plus, it is private, anonymous and fast. It’s just perfect!
And Bitcoin is proved very successful. But it has inherent risks like anonymity, hacking,51%attack, double spending. Stop imagining bitcoin is perfect. No coins are perfect. I’d say bitcoin means more about possibilities, possibilities of expression of value. Before, I’ve been taken it for granted that the government should control currencies. But now I’d like to take a moment to think of the question:
“What is the nature and origin of money?”
No currency is perfect, every single one of them has drawbacks the important thing is if you are willing to accept them and adapt to it, some like gold, but gold can be easily stolen an it is bulky, fiat has the problem of having to trust the government to not print too much and they always betray that trust.
1728  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why illegal stuff such as drugs, weapons etc can buy only through the Darknet ? on: April 28, 2017, 02:27:40 AM
Think about it, individual can open website anonymously with Bitcoin (Domain, and hosting provider) and start selling illegal stuff for Bitcoin.
In the worst case scenario  internet providers will block the website.
Why we see those things just on the Darknet ?
It is common sense, criminals are always trying to be one step ahead of the authorities, the darknet offers the possibility to surf as anonymously as possible on the internet and when you add bitcoin to the mix, a currency that cannot be confiscated then it is no wonder you see those services and products on the darknet
1729  Economy / Speculation / Re: You'll sell at the bottom on: April 28, 2017, 02:24:29 AM
When you decide to sell, be it today or tomorrow or whenever, chances are you will sell at the bottom. This will cause you massive depression, way worse than not selling at the peak to rebuy cheaper.

Buy and hold, or risk selling at the bottom and losing your position.  After this dip stabilizes, we are going $2000.

Hear Hear!

These are cheap coins, everybody should buy whilst they can still afford to.

I agree, but most people act on strong emotions only. The people that don't buy now will not buy because they have a strong feeling of fear. "Oh no, bitcoin is crashing, it's dead!!"

Once we start climbing back to $1000, this same people will go like "oh no, I need to buy quick, it's going to the moon". Then when they finally pull the trigger and buy they will buy at the $3000 peak and cry.
This is why before we being to put money at risk we must read  articles, the forum and some books about investment and learn to recognize when we failed to enter in the market and just wait for the next opportunity to profit from the market.
1730  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: April 28, 2017, 02:19:25 AM
Perhaps in the future, some of the world's economies will depend on bitcoin. That is, they have started looking for bitcoin in large numbers, and opened a business or business with it, and the business is a business that is completely legal, and the government also receives bitcoin. I am sure, the future of bitcoin economy will be very good.
Yes, I also agree with it in the future will be a lot of bitcoin d use, such as online selling needs or other transactions. But if the Government that you say I am still doubting it.
That certainly in the future will grow a lot more using bitcoin.
But we must see the bitcoin dev try to resolve the problem of bitcoin. So, it's possible for bitcoin to get massive adoption by the people around the world.

Without more blocksize limit and I guess the massive adoption will impossible in the future. government will still always consider the bitcoin as illegal thing.
They do not need to declare bitcoin as illegal thing, as long as they can control it, there would be no more problem on their part. It is not a threat to them, in fact they are inspired with the blockchain so that would simply mean they find bitcoin a revolutionary invention and useful to mankind.
But that is a big if, taken control over bitcoin is not an easy thing to do at all, because of the decentralized nature of bitcoin and the nature of the project itself being open sourced then governments don’t have as much options as you may think to take over the network.
1731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: April 28, 2017, 02:14:56 AM
I don't know what I would do if I won a whole bunch of money, maybe I would purchase a new house or something.
Good opinion, You are idea about buying a house it's awesome. I hope one day you will win such a huge amount and do that.
Anyways, If i win a lot of money by doing gambling, I will invest some in bitcoin, I use a part of them to open a new good project and i think i will buy a nice car.

Investing in rral estate is always a good option of where to place your savings. Though i wouldn't think about that just yet because you'd have to win quite a big jackpot tonhave enough money to spend on buying a house. Realistically, i'd just save my einnings and of course spend some on myself, my family and friends. Not all the time you're going to win so might as well share some of it with people close to you.
Real estate is a good investment but if you are any good at investing in crypto currencies then the amount you can get by trading will outperform anything that you could obtain in the market of real estate, if you are in that situation then delaying buying a house seems like the best option.
1732  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Making around $37 per BTC with instant trading on: April 27, 2017, 02:23:00 AM
The method is nothing more than arbitrage which is nothing new but anyone using paypal needs to be aware that such payment method is reversible and you must avoid making any deals that have to do with bitcoin through paypal or you may regret it.
1733  Economy / Economics / Re: Nowhere to Hide: IMF Advocates a Cashless World on: April 27, 2017, 02:19:58 AM
Quote
“The European Central Bank (ECB) does not want that depositors to keep their money under the pillow. If any bank in Europe goes bankrupt, then depositors have a guaranteed right that the state will return them the amount of up to 100,000 euros. But not more,” the economist told Sputnik Germany.

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2017/04/no_author/totalitararian-dream/

The banks and the IMF should have no say whatsoever how any of us decide to hold our money.

The issue is they don’t think that is your money they think it belongs to them because they are the ones to print it, also they want your money in a bank so it is easier to freeze or to steal to pay their debts, so this is another reason to buy bitcoin.
1734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make a good amount with 0.01BTC? on: April 27, 2017, 02:13:05 AM
How to make a decent amount with 0.01BTC  in good time? Any good strategy or any method? Or any tips please?

To gain 0.01BTC, you can join in signature campaign and you can do make some trade in the exchange platform. Because in trading you can make a lot of profit, and that would depend on you if you can earn big.
He is not asking how to earn 0.01BTC but he was asking how to make decent amount from that. Earn from campaign has nothing to do with that, when you decided to trade your money, you should have big bankroll, trade with small amount is really hard. There is risk too in trading, it has big risk than other ways (but the risk is smaller than gambling).
The risk in trading is lower than in gambling but the truth is that if you don’t know what you are doing then trading can be as risky than gambling since the market can move very aggressively especially if we are talking about bitcoins or altcoins.
1735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN or LITECOIN on segwit, which one is first? on: April 27, 2017, 02:03:07 AM
Litecoin prices surged nearly 70% yesterday, ending months of stagnant market activity. According to the data, most of the trading has taken place on Poloniex, OKCoin and Huobi. As of today, Litecoin 24 hour volume is greater than Ethereum by nearly 20%.

Some say this is due to the efforts to integrate segregated witness (segwit) with Litecoin. Others say that traders are simply chasing possible gains in the altcoin markets.

What is your opinion on this? Do you think both Bitcoin and Litecoin will get segwit integration? How will this affect their prices? Which one will get segwit integration first: Bitcoin or Litecoin?

This is a no contest LTC is very close to activate segwit this is a matter of at most one or two weeks in my opinion and it is very obvious the price of LTC is going to grow simply because the users are very optimistic about this new development in the coin and I will be honest I’m excited too to see how segwit performs.
With the faster block than bitcoin My guess you just see a little perform by segwit itself. Segwit to solving the scalability problem.  And improving the blocksize.

The segwit of ltc is about the hype for the litecoin market itself. In this time the price of litecoin is $13.
In my opinion, we are near to 1 billion market cap.

1 billion is real for litecoin. Segwit in litecoin is not about the scalability but it's about to attract a new hype or demand to follow litecoin market.
Even if it is a ploy to get more users, and I think you are right on that, since litecoin was already fast, I think it is a step on the right direction, because the miners on bitcoin need to see that approving segwit will make bitcoin more valuable so they are not going to lose money as they think.
1736  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: April 24, 2017, 08:28:43 PM
Honestly i am so addicted to gambling until now i still gamble and somehow i consider everything I do is a normal thing even though i already realized that gambling is not too good. Though I try not to bother others, you know that if someone is addicted to gambling they will not stop despite losing and will try to owe someone else. But me to say NO, I'm addicted to gambling but i know when to be able to keep myself.
it is good that you haven't lose that much and controlling everything and goes into normal where gambling website you addicted and what game is that? When someone is addicted on gambling he should know to discipline is self first before playing that much im addicted too but i know when to stop and when to play again.
Just sportbet, i am very addicted with this one and actually its easy to stop gambling if you only gamble on sportbet but i am too addicted as always my habit i want more more more hehe

I think its fine to get addicted in sports betting,in this game we can analyze thins and do a research on a team or about the player ,did they won before ? What's their advantage ,something like we have a basis in betting on whom to choose unlike on other betting games that based on luck.

Lol, being addicted is not good.  Everything should be taken in moderation.  Being addited to sports betting is no difference than being addicted in Casino.  The person is still labeled as gambling addict since sportsbetting is a gambling game.  And it will greatly affect his life.
No addiction is good for you, I have seen people addicted to doing exercise and it is not pretty, they get injuries and instead of taking rest they keep pushing their body thinking things like, no pain no gain and some have damaged their bodies beyond repair just like any drug.
1737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin SegWit will be activated in less than 11 days on: April 24, 2017, 08:26:11 PM
They did publish and agreement but didn't publish a time scale.

They might drag it out for months under the guise of 'testing' so they can play with the market more.
I hope that does not happen, LTC will benefit greatly from approving segwit as fast as it is possible we don’t need more manipulation and political moves like the situation that we have in bitcoin and that is causing some users to lose faith in bitcoin and its future.
1738  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: April 24, 2017, 08:18:54 PM
Im looking forward to become rich with bitcoins...I try my best and manage my time to learn and understand more about this bitcoin.
Hold the coins and you just might get rich with Bitcoins.
I think holding bitcoin will not make you rich if you use is a small capital, you have to have a big capital. So when bitcoin prices go up. The profits you get will be huge But the risk will also be greater
Yes ,the risk will be big if you have a big capital however by scattering those amounts in many different wallet you have a higher chance of lessing the risk of it unless bitcoins drop unexpectedly in the future (Nothing is Sure what may possible events will happen).
No matter how small is your capital you can make it big if you take some risk in legit ways and smart investing .
I disagree about the last part, the size of your capital is critical, the smaller your capital is the greater the risk you need to take to make any significant amount of money at all, on the other hand if you have a large capital then you don’t need to take as much risks and it is way easier to make money.
1739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: April 24, 2017, 08:13:57 PM
I imagine that bitcoin becomes a lifetime.
My expectation for the next 20 years is a bitcoin success and the price keeps rising steadily.

A lifetime? hmm, that would be really great if you ask me. Though we can't be sure that it would be that alive for long. These years that bitcoin is still growing after few years is great and I thought that it will be going down by these year, but I think I am wrong. Many solutions will be spoken after that 20 years and I think the future of bitcoin is really exciting. But I think price to be rising steadily will not happen because as we all know, bitcoin is a volatile digital currency.
As bitcoin keeps attracting more and more users then the volatility will decrease as it becomes  more difficult and more costly to try to manipulate the markets due to an higher market cap, so I think as the years come by bitcoin will become similar to fiat in its stability.
1740  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will reach $1500? on: April 24, 2017, 08:10:47 PM
my thoughts about the price of bitcoin to reach $1500 maybe next year january. remember the days where bitcoin reach $1000 its on january too. end of the month lastyear its only 950$ something like that but after a week which is january of 2017 it reach and surpass$1000 and thats the greatest feeling we ever felt until it reach $1200 and were all panicking because anytime soon it could hit $1500 but theres abig dump thats why next year will be my predictions in bitcoin price to reach $1500.

This forecast seems more correct to me, because this year is not the best for bitcoin. There was a big panic and you need time for growth.
It will take time before bitcoin price will growth but since we already have 10% of population who are using bitcoin now maybe this could be happen anytime if demand of bitcoin will rise up also the volume that do you think? Business nowadays are involving into bitcoin currency.
Where did you find that number? There is no way 10% of the human population are using bitcoin already if that was the case I think bitcoin could have a price ten to twenty times larger than the one we see and almost any business will accept bitcoin at that point as a form of payment.
