1742  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: January 18, 2023, 04:14:29 PM
When you gamble, it's important to remember that gambling involves risk, and it's possible to lose money even when the odds are in your favor. A good gambler should always set a budget for themselves, avoid chasing losses by continuing to gamble after losing a large sum of money, and if you're not prepared to lose money, then gambling isn't something you should do.

It's also important to be aware of the fact that gambling can have serious consequences, not just financially, but also on one's mental and emotional well-being. Personally, I would find it difficult to manage such a loss, and I would never consider risking such a large sum on gambling. If I had $1 million to gamble with, I would probably invest most of it in some sort of business venture. Gambling can be fun, but only if you have money to spare.
1743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Evolution of human life and what that future holds for BTC? on: January 18, 2023, 01:14:46 PM
With technology constantly evolving, blockchain could be used in ways we never imagined, leading to new ways to use cryptocurrency beyond the traditional financial transactions. Fore example, it could also be used to track other items that have value but are hard to keep track of (I think Blockchain is already being used as a way to track unique assets like diamonds), or it could be used to manage the supply chain of products and materials. No doubt, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology have the potential to shape the future of many industries, and the world is still learning how best to use this technology, but there are already plenty of exciting possibilities for how it can be applied in everyday life.

With all this in mind, it is difficult to predict exactly what the future will hold, particularly in terms of its widespread adoption and use. Bitcoin is still the most well-known and used cryptocurrency, but there may be other forms of digital currency that become more popular in the future. So keep an eye out for what's to come.  Wink
1744  Other / Meta / Re: Know who ignores who on: January 18, 2023, 12:21:54 PM
Lately I've been wondering if we can find out who ignored us.
Is there any way to find out who ignored us?  Huh

There's no way to tell who's ignoring you on bitcointalk forum since the feature to block or ignore people isn't out in the open. If you think someone's giving you the cold shoulder, the best bet is to message them directly and ask. It's also important to remember that not everyone may be interested in the same things or have the same communication style as you, and that's okay. Try not to take it personally, and try to respect other people's boundaries and preferences.
1745  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk is mafia on: January 17, 2023, 09:29:29 AM
I invite you to discuss what happened to 4 Bitcoins from here:

Let's examine the situation from a different perspective. What is your theory on what happened with those 4 BTC and what proof do you have to support it? Also, what is the connection between this and the bitcointalk forum?
1746  Economy / Gambling / Re: OLE777 - Join Us For New And Exciting Promos! on: January 17, 2023, 08:34:03 AM
What further proof would you want? I had lots of USDT + ETH in my account after a lucky streak, they refused to let me withdraw, removed all balance from my account and suspended my account. The reason? Non compliance issues but AFTER turning over 450k USDT at them and after using them more than 2 months! LOL
Plain scammers, not much to say. They were all too happy to take my deposits however.

It sounds like you had a very frustrating experience with this casino. But, without more information, it's difficult to say exactly what happened or why your account was suspended. I understand that it may be difficult for you to provide additional evidence if your account has been suspended, but maybe you could share proof of deposit and any communication you had with the casino staff. This could help us better understand what happened and why. In my experience, it's rare for a casino to suspend an account without providing any sort of explanation.

@OLE777Official, would you be willing to clarify your stance on this thread? The use of personal information and photos of others to portray your team members is a serious accusation.

What the OP can do is if he doesn't want to create account in all these casinos,
he can start reading the thread of each reputable and known casinos in this forum.
There are so many discussions that he can already get an idea how the casino is operating like if your deposit will be converted to USD or not.
He can also directly ask on the thread if he is not into reading all the posts, and for sure, someone will answer his query.
This is the advantage in this forum. You can have direct contact also with their respective reps if you can't get a hold of them via site chat support.

Or, instead of browsing through existing forum topics to find an answer, he can also create a new forum topic specifically for his question. This will ensure that his question will be seen and answered by members of the community who are knowledgeable about that specific subject. In addition, by creating a new topic, other members with similar questions may also benefit from the discussion. There's nothing inherently wrong with this approach, in fact, it's the correct way to use an online forum platforms.

🔥COINSLOTTY🔥 Review Campaign – Rewards From $60 to $70🔥

Full Members - $40/Week.

Thank you all for yet another great week, keep it up! Smiley

We have 1x Full Member position open, apply now!
1752  Other / Meta / Re: (Another) Request: Cybersecurity board on: January 14, 2023, 09:58:30 AM
It appears that some members, even those who seem to be experienced in this field, are not fully aware of or do not fully understand the significance of securing their cryptocurrency assets, and may not be utilizing all the tools at their disposal. So, in my view, having a dedicated Cybersecurity & Privacy board within a forum discussing Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies would be extremely beneficial. This board could provide a centralized place for members to discuss, share knowledge, and learn about the security and privacy of their assets and transactions, which are crucial in this ecosystem. As cryptocurrencies involve sensitive financial data and transactions, so I think it's important to ensure the safety and privacy of users.

Given that the cryptocurrency ecosystem is constantly evolving, new threats and vulnerabilities are frequently discovered. A dedicated board would be a great way for the community to stay informed about the latest developments and threats in the field, and would provide focused discussions and resources on topics such as preventing hacking and fraud, safely storing assets, and could lead to better security practices overall. I fully support this idea.

wow, didn't know roobet had 20 years of history
that's quite cool, respectable

It doesn't. Please do us all a favor and spend a few seconds reading previous posts before spouting off such nonsense.
I mean, even Bitcoin, the granddaddy of all cryptocurrencies, doesn't have 20 years under its belt, but sure, let's pretend a crypto casino does. Sure, why not.

I understand that the fact that he copied this text from the forum rules and did not cite the source can technically be considered plagiarism. This is not the point. Will our global moderators and admins consider this copy-paste without citing the source as plagiarism? That's the question Wink

Ah, I see.  Smiley

It's hard to say, really. I've seen some much more serious cases of plagiarism go unpunished (it seems like the moderators are much more lenient on this than before). However, in this case the member is also ban evading, so...
1755  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Evasion for Alamjob239/Bla2kja2k/acemax/RainbowSky on: January 13, 2023, 07:12:31 PM
Can it be considered plagiarism?  Smiley

Technically, the answer would be yes. If you copy and paste something verbatim from the internet into your own writing without citing the source or giving credit where it is due, then that could be considered plagiarism. Even if you had good intentions.
1756  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 13, 2023, 09:49:30 AM
while Roobet is 20 years.

I believe that is a different company.

It's correct that the domain name roobet.com was registered 20 years ago, however, it was owned by a different company or person at that time. We can confirm this by checking historical archived versions of the site, like this snapshot from 2018 which clearly shows that the domain was being offered for sale. Also, there are old posts from absolutely-positioned such as this one, which confirm that he was actively involved in the development of crypto gambling site during that time period. It's possible that some review sites may have mixed up the years the casino was launched, as they only consider the date the domain was registered, but Roobet is definitely NOT a 20-year-old casino.
1757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Video how i turn 0.3 ethereum into 0.6 ethereum in dice on: January 13, 2023, 09:03:22 AM
Just because you doubled your money once, doesn't mean you have a winning formula. Can you do it consecutively, all the time? I highly doubt it. Dice is not a game of skill, it's a game of chance, and it's all about luck. It's not something you can control or predict. So, while you may have had a lucky roll this time, don't get too cocky. Because when it comes to dice, the house always wins.
1758  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 13, 2023, 08:44:55 AM
An easy way to do this is with their email, I know people that use the very same email for everything, which means that if at some point a hacker gets into that email then they can get all kind of information from them, but if instead they decide to use a different email for their personal matters, the different exchanges they use and the casinos in which they like to play then even if one of those emails got compromised they will lose only a limited amount of information.
Right different mails for different casino is also good option in order to be safe in case any of the account is compromised you other mails remain safe but if you have used them on multiple accounts then it's risky. But also remember which email is linked to which account in case you need them at any time.

There are many email services that allow you to generate unique email aliases, so you can use a unique email address for each account on online services, protecting your main email account from spam and malicious content. Additionally, creating temporary email addresses for short-term use can also be a useful way to test new services without compromising your main email account.

Some examples:

Quote
  • Gmail: allows you to add a "+" followed by any word or phrase to your email address to create an alias. For example, if your email address is "example@gmail.com", you can create an alias "example+alias@gmail.com".
  • Outlook: allows you to create an alias by adding a period (.) anywhere in your email address. For example, if your email address is "example@outlook.com", you can create an alias "exam.ple@outlook.com".
  • ProtonMail: allows you to create an alias by appending "+" and any word or phrase to your email address. For example, if your email address is "example@protonmail.com", you can create an alias "example+alias@protonmail.com".
source: google.com

These are just a few examples and many other email services offer similar functionality. So, if you use Gmail, you can create a unique email alias by adding "+casino_name" to your email address. Not only will this give you a unique address, it will also help you organize your inbox.

DO NOT BET WITH THEM, THEY DO NOT PAY.
I am happy to see members don't trust them now, bunch of lying thieves. This thread should be removed. Why does admin allow it up?

The site seems clean and has a good touch graphically speaking.
Do you have any proof that the website isn't paying? I'm assuming you gathered all the proof before making that reply of yours otherwise, you'll be wasting your time here.

Members need proof before they choose to not choose this platform and consider another website to play on.

You can find his scam accusation against the casino here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5433377.0
Although, I agree, it would be even more helpful if there were additional evidence, such as screenshots of the individual's balance or withdrawal page, to support the claim. It is also important to note that OLE777Official has not yet responded to that thread.

I don't get your 'vip' nft benefit.

'keep accumulating turnover & selling with higher prices' - where is user supposed to check your turnover? Anybody claiming the second statement is outright scam to me.

That's a good question. As for where to check our turnover, that information can typically be found in financial reports or on their investor relations page. However, I didn't see weeddaddy ever posting such information (and I doubt they ever will). And as for the second statement, we should always be wary of too-good-to-be-true claims. Trust but verify, as they say.

I doubt your site will be even alive for a quarter that you share your profits.

Indeed.  Wink
