1741  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: May 29, 2023, 11:43:27 AM
Using artificial intelligence to make bets is not the best because we might suddenly get blocked and lose our funds if the casino we are using get to know about that. I think a time will come when crypto casinos would be using bot detectors to cach people or gamblers that are found of using rib to make bets. I still don't see good reason to use robot to make vet but whatsoever reason, we need to be careful.
This is weird claim. How would they know about it and how would that be against terms of service?

I see no reason to use AI either but people have been using scripts for crash-type games since forever. And at least one casino has their own window to write that script. It doesn't help because there are no algorithms that could beat casino's edge. But people still keep trying. I guess fot that same reason they would try AI as well. Casinos would know that it doesn't help so they wouldn't or couldn't ban it.

I agree with you, people are allowed to use various algorithms because as long as they play by the rules they can do anything that makes their experience more enjoyable. These days online casinos don't ban gamblers that win a lot, be it lucky slot players or poker pros. This practice was employed like 50-100 years ago in some land-based casinos, and people that have little to no idea of how modern online casino work keep repeating this nonsense here and there.
1742  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: May 29, 2023, 10:42:01 AM
~ There's what people called free giveaways, where you're permitted to join a quest for receiving anything for free if you're lucky or being eligible, gambling is all about playing games, both live or virtual games and sports, you bet by using your money to stand in for you that if your prediction is accurate, you stand a chance to make a winning, i don't count anything that does not do with money a gambling because you're not staking anything for such.

And you are right, imo, because gambling, by definition, is about staking something valuable. Yes, some activities, when nothing valuable is at stake, still called "gambling" sometimes, but those cases are the topic of discussion rather on linguistic forums than here in Gambling section.

Let's not forget, guys, that we are talking about bets here, it's not the Politics&Society section, is it? Smiley

I personally don't like Trump and a big part of the GOP, but I would place ten bucks on Trump with the current odds

if I was sure he wins the election. But actually I won't bet a cent on him, because he's not gonna win. Not in this universe, anyway.
1744  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: May 29, 2023, 09:35:36 AM
If you are in twenties or early thirties and remain single, earn $3,000 after tax per month, you will probably save $1,000 if you, let's say, spend $500 to $800 on rental, a guest bedroom in a shared house/apartment, $500 on food, $50  on utilities, $150 on phone/internet bills, $400 on commuting costs or gas/maintainance if you have a used car, $200 on occasional entertainment or others. This $1,000 savings will allow you to invest or place a house down payment when time is ripe. Is this possible based on where you live ?

It's not possible where I live because $800 per month is considered a very good salary here, so saving $1k is out of question. But I think I can contemplate the possibility of saving 30% of your income. It's impossible in my opinion. It's too much. And those guys earning $3k per month, I'm sure they are living in places where everything, food, electricity, medical care and stuff, everything is more expensive there, so, they couldn't afford saving that much.
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 29, 2023, 09:11:11 AM
Recently, I didn't win 1.55 mBTC because of only one wrong prediction:

This one was rough. Tottenham should have won that one. Just wondering this but how many tries have you gotten before you were this close on winning a betslip with over 100x odds

It's 155x actually. Smiley How many tries? I can't say for sure, but I feel like it was around 80 tries. Maybe a bit more, but definitely less than 100 tries. During those tries I won 100x once, so overall I'm in profit. Smiley

Also recently I won this free bet

which wasn't 100x, but due to the stake amount the profit was nice.

Congrats to all the winners in the Sportsbet's BitcoinTalk Pool on Superbru!

I finished 43rd myself with 287.0 points scored, so I'm really impressed by your results, guys in the top 20. Enjoy your very well deserved prizes!

If you are concerned about uncertainties and want to achieve stability, it is typically better to keep a diversified portfolio that includes low-risk investments such as bank savings or other stable assets. Saving money may serve as a safety net and help you establish a financial cushion for unforeseen events.

I don't know, it depends on many things, and most of all on where do you keep your money. There are many countries where putting your money in a bank is an equivalent of throwing it away. If we expect economic instability, maybe the real things, like good quality tools, are worth investing into. I mean, apart from household tools, a good fishing rod, some Japanese hooks and fishing lines may come in handy one day.
1748  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: May 28, 2023, 12:17:53 PM
Guys, what are your achievements on The Roo House by Pragmatic Play? I just played it for 20 minutes with $0.20 base bet and here's what my biggest win was:

I never rolled more than 2 of these guys, , so, at first, I was going to ask you what the bonus round gives you, but then, 5 seconds later, I rolled 3 of them

and it was enough for getting 15 free spins. I don't know, maybe I could get more of them free spins, or less, I think it depended on this game within the game here

but I got 15, and here's the final result:

Not enough to allow me buying twitter, but it's nice innit?

What about you, guys? I'm sure some of you won more than 30x of their bet on The Roo House slot. Share your wins here. Smiley
1749  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: May 28, 2023, 09:57:30 AM
~

Agreed. To find a life-work balance is hard but worth all efforts. The more important thing is that in the pursuit of balance, we have set a great role model to our kids. Parents are always children’s “heroes” and if we do nothing positive in life, they will be more likely to be less disciplined and live a miserable life. Nowadays kids are way easy to be spoiled and we, as parents, should both provide a good financial support, more time with kids, and draw a line not to spoil them for the sake of their healthy growth. It’s a difficult task as well but we should do it. No matter what.

We should try, I would say. No one knows how to raise children properly. What we do know is that having enough money is not enough. Kids of rich parents would be perfect, if if it depended on money only. But we all know that in mane cases they are far from being perfect. So, we should focus not only on saving money for our kids' future, but also on their early education, because you can't compensate the lack of it with money.
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: May 28, 2023, 09:20:24 AM
~ The presidentiables I think will change somehow there are new candidates that might come out to take it away from Trump and Biden though.
RFK Jr seems to be showing more interest.

Idk, does he have a chance? He has pretty good outcome odds currently, around 17.00, but I can't imagine he gets elected unless Biden and Trump disappear somehow. I'm not living in the US myself, so I have no idea how popular is Kennedy there for real, but from Youtube videos and some movies I have an impression that people don't the whole family much, and him in particular. Am I wrong?

He is polling somewhere between 15% to 20% at this point, and he is miles behind where Bernie Sanders was at this stage back in 2016. He is an anti-establishment candidate. Such a candidate has an outside chance of winning the GOP nomination (similar to what happened back in 2016), but within the Democrat party his chances are near zero. He can try running as an independent, but that will harm the GOP more than it would harm the Democrats. That said, he is making a lot of noise in the social media (especially in Twitter).
I'm 100% with you on this, it's just as if you wrote my mind down. Robert Kennedy Jr is just a noise maker, if one would not forget, he has been there without being noticed the whole time, even when Joe Biden has been holding one office and the other and Hillary Clinton was given the ticket years back. What he could do to be noticed is what he's actually doing now, this is politics, he's investing with his voice and actions.

One thing about politics is that you start creating awareness now, but not for the immediate but for the future. Of course, Joe Biden would leave after doing the maximum of 8 years, after which am sure that this guy might be one of those that would be considered. Thanks to his noise now, but placing him above the incumbent president will only be in his wildest dreams.

So, RFK Jr has no chances, right? It's not like in regular sports betting when there's a 15x multiplier you know that your chances are 7% more or less. Kennedy here doesn't have those 7%, every bettor knows his chances are zero.(Well, not every bettor, some people bet on him, but we here know, right)

But what about Ron DeSantis then? His multiplier is 5x. Does that mean that he has 20% chance of being elected as the next president? That's a huge chance, I must say.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: May 28, 2023, 08:42:42 AM
I have no idea how it can make a big deal in gambling if it's all about data analysis when the game is all about luck. I only think of these AI are something good to roll your dice depending on your most recent roll but it's already being done and made by the casinos, most of them have the autoroll feature.
But we are talking about poker, that's not just about pure luck. Otherwise same people wouldn't keep ending up to finals, it would be totally random bunch of people every time. With live poker, if you don't have a clue who is being played out from the table it's probably you. You can sense a lot on what people bet and on which kind of hands, who is losing their cool and then there are just pure mathetmatical probablilities you could count if you have a good head for it. With AI you don't have to count.
That's why I can't still get how it'll be with it in any gambling game and even in poker. There's no data on such since the deck will always be shuffled and if it's a data based on the last cards on everyone's hand.

I still don't understand how the AI will come up with the suggestion or solution whether you'll have to fold or check or raise.

But maybe that's just me and I'm still quite confused into understanding not until I see it become a reality.

AI can't guarantee a win because luck is a factor in poker game too. It's not a decisive factor, but still some outcomes depend on it. I saw a game on YouTube where one player had four of a kind Aces and therefore she called all-in from another player, but it appeared that that another player had straight flush. AI would never suggest to fold with four of a kind Aces, however smart it was. But such cases are rare, and I think in general AI can be very helpful in poker game.
1752  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: May 27, 2023, 02:35:50 PM
I think the thing that is a factor and my biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom is that it's too easy to buy things that look interesting, I like sports like cycling or fishing, sometimes I buy the latest equipment for fishing and have been equivalent to the salary I receive 2 months , I'm sorry and want to sell it again but it's not worth it anymore, but when there's the newest fishing equipment again I still buy it and this happens again when other hobbies like cycling.

There's nothing wrong with buying things that make you happy. If being financially dependent doesn't make you sad, you can  live like that, and no one has the right to criticize you. But if financial independence is your main goal, then you yourself will not be happy about spending on unnecessary things, or anything that holds you back from achieving your goal.
1753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 101: Basics, Strategies, and Discussion (with poll) on: May 27, 2023, 11:41:06 AM
~ From my experience, it must be something over 10x for me to feel something. What about you, guys?
~
Multiplier that makes me happy when playing slot is ofc should be at least 1,000x as hitting few hundreds multiplier is quite often to happen.
I guess most other users who usually shared about their win are also happy if they get more than 1,000x because most winning result that been shared in this topic are mostly more than 1,000x
The biggest multiplier in this topic is the one shared by roycilik with more than 21,000x of the base bet.

Man! You are very lucky then, what else can I say? Smiley But still, it's something when you hit 100x, innit? Wink I can't believe hitting 100x can be a mundane event for someone, c'mon! Even with a small bet like $0.20 it's twenty bucks, it's good money anywhere in the world.

@len01 @seleme @Betwrong  Cheesy Thank You.
I use IDR as betting currency, Bitinity and panjul07 Thank You. Smiley
Actually, I'd like to ask you guys in this thread, what multiplier makes you feel happy? In sports betting you can be happy when you win with 1.9x, right, but this is definitely not the case with slots. From my experience, it must be something over 10x for me to feel something. What about you, guys?
Maximum Winning Sir. But for me, if I win the multiplier is only 200x too, I will be feel happy because I won anyway, but it's better if it's 1000x or more it was an interesting win. In sports betting the 1.5x multiplier would also be happy, but it depends on the bet amount. I mean if I bet $2 and get $3 then I won't be happy, because the total win is only $1 Grin In slots, I can get better wins, but it still depends on luck too.

Yeah, 1,000x is better than 200x, and I wish you, I wish all of us here, to hit more wins like that. Since the outcomes of our spins on slots are totally random, anything can happen, and not only once. Hit one jackpot after another, guys. Smiley

Hello guys from this thread. Smiley

Can someone please explain, what's wrong with this submission of mine?

It was for this contest, [$800] PD Weekly Heroes Wk52

with the following requirements:

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. Far from it. I love Primedice. I'm rolling on the site since 2014, it's always a great experience. If it will be a mistake on their side, it will be for the first time. But I think it's my bad, I just can't figure out why I'm getting this error message

when I try to claim the bonus.

I'm sorry to say that today, two weeks later, I still can't figure out what was wrong with tat submission of mine. I tried again to calim a bonus from here

and I got this message, yet again:

There's still time until the 07th of June, so, I hope it will be sorted out by then. Smiley
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ridiculous Bets that disappointed you on: May 27, 2023, 10:21:42 AM
Always have this bet every time I play the crash game, the moment I increase my multiplier expect for the rocket to crash right away, looks like my luck is not with this game. Had a lot of bad bets as well but I just can't remember the most ridiculous once since I always on a budget bet, I probably have one but that is not a big amount. Big bets always put me on a higher risk and the house knows it, they'll take my money easily.
Mine was with sport bettings, i noticed that whenever am playing, i would have select and set all the games and everything being intact, but just before i submit abd print the slip, i will thought about an urgent opportunity in making an adjustment on the ones I've set already or making an additional games to the ones selected already, at the end of it all, i will loose the entire bet just because of a single additional efforts made or added.
How many times it happened? if you noticed this one or two times, you should refrain from doing it. The act that you did there only shows that you are not sure about the bets you are placing. You need to be more familiar about the game and teams that are playing before engaging in betting or better if you just play casino games since there is no knowledge involved here. There is no need for you to pressure your self.

One or two times is not enough to make conclusions. As it happens with multibets, one lucky bet can cover all your losses from 20 wrong bets and even bring you some good profit, so, if you like doing that kind of bets, you can keep doing it and hope for the best.

@Johnyz what I know is that crash is an online multiplayer game. There are other bettors on the same game you are playing so don't think that you are the only ones who are unlucky. It's just that high multipliers are hard to catch not only in this game but in all of the casino games.

Yes, but that's why it's so exciting when you finally win one of them. I personally like chasing high multipliers, and although I lose most of them, I feel like it was worth it, when something like 40x or 100x is won.
1756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: May 27, 2023, 09:47:27 AM
Snip

Well, it's good how you still handle your staking decision and the amount you stake. Perhaps with that little chance of winning, one can even have doubts about winning, but it's just good to try and increase the amount once in a while, even if it's once every ten years. But again, one thing I noticed is that if someone puts in a large amount, they will not win unless they are lucky. If you are playing with just an amount less than $1, you will be surprised that out of 10 rolls, you will win like five, but once you top the staking amount, you can even lose it all, even if you play many times. I have that experience, but I don't know if it's the same for others.

It's not the same for others and it can't be, because the outcome doesn't depend on the stake size. I mean, accidentally it can happen to me or anyone else, but it's not like a rule: you win with low stakes and you lose with the high ones. It's an illusion which many gamblers encounter, but in reality things like this are not happening in  online gambling. Mediocre screenwriters write those things in movies about casino, and then people think they "see" them. Happens all the time with many other things too.

BUT, if you want to gamble responsibly, you should avoid high stakes anyway.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: May 27, 2023, 09:14:27 AM
I think it's really a good advice for OP. Normally, the more you push the more people don't want to follow you, or register under your ref link and stuff like that. Aggressive advertisement works the other way round usually. So, one should be careful with that.
When I've seen someone have those referral links and I can see that the way he introduces it is not that humble, I would usually not sign up under his links, and most people right now are doing this, like if they saw a referral link, they would usually go direct to the website, not under them. It is really not working now as people are already aware of it as they prefer not to be under someone else or they just want those referrers to earn.
Lol, that's relatable because I do the same. If I don't know someone personally and they are just randomly advertising their referral link or even if someone that I know sends me a referral link but doesn't bother to tell me what it is about or explain to me how things work and everything, I never sign up under their link but I rather visit the website and register without a referrer.

It is not easy to get referrals these days because most people do this, unless you have a lot of time and you can explain things one by one to everyone only in the hope that they might sign up under you which happens sometimes and sometimes people just say at the end that they are not interested.

OR, people might register under your ref link, but being not high rollers they won't actually help you to generate anything noticeable. Let's be realistic, most gamblers are not high rollers, and you are very lucky if among 100 registered under your ref link one will be a high roller.

Guys look at the email I got the other day from Freebitco.in
~

@Betwrong congratulations I know this feeling well because I too had hit the sweet spot of 9999 few year’s back but at that time this additional $5 thread didn’t exist and while I was super happy I became instantly sad too that I missed hitting the number 10000 Cheesy.

Haha, being happy and sad in the same time it's an interesting combination of feelings. Idk. I was just happy, to be honest. Smiley

I was even more happy when I got this email on Monday:

And yes, $5 worth of BTC were indeed added to my account.

@Betwrong, congratulations on the win, although $20 is not a lot, you were still very close to the main prize - and this is the first time I've heard that an additional prize is won - because it definitely did not happen before when I won that prize several times.

What interests me is the fact that you didn't win a single lottery ticket in that roll, but the rules say that you get 2 lottery tickets for each roll - and it doesn't make much sense to me that they canceled that for the biggest prizes?

Thanks for the congratulations, @Lucius!

No, that's because I disabled getting lottery tickets with free rolls, as people said above. I always get zero of them,

with my every free roll.

Thank you, all of you guys, for the congratulations! Good luck to you in the future!

Since recently, I see my slot sessions on Bitcasino as "The Road to the 1,000x". Aren't you too, @AbuBhakar? Smiley Anyone else?

Why not?  Having a goal to hit 1000x isn't bad when we are already playing on the platform.  It is maybe just another self made milestone, and many won't think much about it but I believe it will give a huge satisfaction and achievement if we are able to hit it.  Aside from the prize money, the emotional satisfaction is also added when we fulfilled that "The Road to the1000x".  I think joining you isn't bad.  I wish us good luck and hope we can get 1000x as soon as possible.

Thanks for joining, @BitcoinPanther! I hope someone from us will hit it soon and post about it here.

Ain't much of a fortune, but more than enough to cover my losses during the session. So, basically, I had my fun for free. Smiley
This is what most of the gamblers like us are happy at when we are able to cover our wager amount also as we don't loose anything but gain the fun of playing also so we should feel lucky in these small wins also.We are wagering at full risk so getting something in return is much better according to me and happy for you.

Thank you. Yes, it's about having fun, primarily. So, if we get our money back, or most of it, it's really a good thing. Imagine paying $10 for a roller coaster ride, and getting that money back on the way out. That would be nice, wouldn't it? Smiley

~ Meanwhile, I just hit some good multipliers. Not that big it's still a profit.  Wink

Great hit, @AbuBhakar, congrats!

Today I got three of them winged wads couple of times

but never four of them, so, no free spins for me this time. Smiley

I'm glad you won, mate. And thanks for posting it here! If someone from our community wins, I feel like I'm winning too. Smiley
